Health insurance is vital to one and all. As rising medical expenses is driving more and more people to opt for health insurance, there are several people who unknowingly fall prey to scams of health insurance. They get lured by the unbelievably low premiums charged by these unauthorized insurance companies. These people who fall prey do not realize that there are many fake companies just trying to squeeze out money from their innocent victims. But, with so many insurance providers how do you know the real ones from the fakes? The number of companies running scams has been on the increase as many people are now opting to get health insurance but looking to get the best out of it. So, how does one ensure that they are protecting themselves from these cheats and at the same time getting the best for their money?

While looking for health insurance, it is best to avoid companies that are providing insurance at unbelievably low prices that does not sound feasible in anyway. Many people try to check for the best deal while trying to get health insurance and end up with no insurance coverage in the event of an emergency as they have been the victim of a scam. You must know what to look out for while having a discussion with the insurance provider in order to differentiate between a fake and a real provider.

Being professionals, these fake companies will know how to cheat the gullible people without them suspecting even for a moment that they are being taken for a ride. They will carry paperwork and everything else that a real insurer will be bound to carry with them and will make it look like the real thing. The most common way in which these fake insurers will scam people is to sell something that is not an insurance plan and will usually be something like a discount program. The company will contact the people over the phone and is usually targeted at individuals who have problems in affording insurance or do not actually be eligible to take health insurance. Also, you should look out if the representative says that their plans are reinsured. Although many real insurance companies opt for reinsurance as a protection measure, this feature is never conveyed to the customers.

It is difficult for a common man to segregate the bad apples from the good ones. As people running scams are thorough professionals and follow the protocol of the real ones, it becomes increasingly difficult to spot a scam from a real one. So, be aware of everything about health insurance in order to avoid becoming the victim of a scam. If someone reaches you over the telephone and tries to sell you some kind of health insurance that sounds too good to be true, try questioning the person in every manner possible to prevent becoming the victim to a scam. If you still doubt the person to be running a scam, ensure that you contact the state insurance regulators who are the authorities in the field of insurance to investigate these people and bring them to book if they are running a fake operation. This will not only protect you it will also ensure the safety of others who can fall prey to these smooth operators.<bio>Uncover the correlation between insurance and getting married as well as learning where to get free health insurance for college student only at http://www.wellbeingcoverage.com, the popular online health insurance info portal on cheap family health insurance</bio>

Information on training a hunting dog.

The term hunting dog is applied to any dog that is able to assist a human in the act of hunting. There are several different types of breeds of dogs that are quite useful as hunting dogs and each has a particularly unique and useful talented that is used during hunting.

Hounds such as coonhounds are often used for stalking prey either by sight or sound. Sight hounds generally kill what they are stalking for their masters, while scent hounds are very likely to corner prey in some manner so someone in the hunting party may kill it.

Hunters that hunt small game such a wild turkey and pheasants normally use gun dogs. There are pointers who point at game birds that are being tracked by the hunting party and will additionally flush out the prey for the hunter. There are also pointers that basically freeze and point when a game bird is spotted and allows the hunting party the opportunity to flush out the prey. Retrievers are a class of hunting dog that will go out an retrieve the carcasses of prey that have been shot by the hunting party.

Curs and terriers are also in the gun dog classification of hunting dogs. Terriers ferret out animals in their habits (dens for instance) and then kill them with brute strength. Curs are hunting dogs that are very well known to take on creatures that are much larger then they are.

When you begin to train your hunting dog the first thing you need to do is to begin getting them used to the great outdoors. A dog that is going to assist a hunting party needs to be able to handle all types of weather. Allow your dog to roam around in an empty open area with your close supervision. When doing this you want to make sure that your dog is given plenty of water.

You are also going to need to teach your hunting dog how to track. This task can be accomplished by purchasing a container of animal blood and create a small trail of it that your dog can follow. Leaving a treat at the end of that trail can further encourage your dog to take to tracking.

If you are extremely patient with your dog while training it to be a hunting dog in time you are going to have a very faithful and useful member of your hunting party for years to come. <bio>Gray Rollins is a featured writer for http://DogTeachers.com - a great site for dog training.
If there is one period in the year that you can do some good bass fishing than it has to be the fall. This is just how bass live their lives, no matter where you are, all because they are creatures of habit. In the fall the fish tend to move into shallow waters to start feeding heavily before the winter hits them. And once the winter comes the temperature of the water will drop and the bass will be getting a lot less active. So in the months during the fall season they will start to store food so they can overcome the winter.

But there is another good reason why fall bass fishing is good and that is the condition of the water. Once the temperature of the water starts to cool down the content of oxygen goes up. And when the oxygen content goes up, the bass start to be more active and that makes their appetite increase. They like to swim in schools and keep together, striking at anything that moves.

Fall bass fishing, the need to know

You have a choice between a variety of baits in this, for the fish, very active period. Espacially good type of bait in the fall are spinner and crank baits. The real secret is that you need to know what the bass are feeding on, this period of time and then try to mimic that. If it is crawfish then you need a type of bait that looks like a it to the bass. Also, you need to make sure that the bait has the actual size of the crawfish that they eat at the specific moment.

You should always keep an eye on the temperature of the water that you fish in. Like we told you before, the cooler the water, the more active the bass. Another thing is that you will need a way to know the water depth. Try to find a spot where it is shallow but has a deeper spot nearby. Bass just lover to feed in very shallow water but need to have a deeper end where they can go to once the weather starts to change.

These fish also like some cover so look out for plant life in the water. Plant life is a place where they can feed, but it will also give them some cover and something to hide in. When their prey swims by they do not know what hit them when the bass jumps from these plants that have been covering them.

The fall is a good time for fishing for us as well, because the temperatures are much more comfortable it is nice to spend some time on the lake. During the summer the days can become very hot on the water so the fall will come as a pleasant gift and the colors of the trees in these months of the year only add to that feeling. You will really enjoy your days on the lake when you are doing some fall bass fishing.<bio>Fishing is not for everyone. But when the fishing bug bites you it's hard to stop. Marcel Bernard was bitten by the fishing bug and wants to share his adventures with you so he can tell you all about florida bass fishing and maybe tell you about a bass fishing home page</bio>

While the Venus Flytrap cannot actually swallow humans whole, or talk, it is true that the plant exists and is in fact carnivorous. Feeding mostly on insects and arachnids, the plant is one of the only in existence that is not autotrophic (able to produce its own food via photosynthesis).

The Venus Flytrap is named after the Roman goddess Venus, who is the goddess of Love and Plants. It is an herb made up of four to seven leaves, which produces small white flowers in the spring. Its leaves are a complex structure consisting of two lobes with small hair-like protrusions called cilia lining the outside. These cilia must be disturbed twice in a row to evoke a reaction from the quiet stationary predator. This feature allows for raindrops and other falling objects to land on the plant without disturbing it.

Once prey is "detected" on the leaf of the Venus Flytrap, the mechanism snaps shut in about 100ms (much less than a second), trapping the prey inside. As the prey continues to wriggle about in an attempt to escape, the leaf seals off the outer edges, completely trapping the prey inside a kind of cocoon, where digestion occurs. The Venus Flytrap releases enzymes which break down the organism into usable components, leaving nothing but a husk of chitin remaining for the plant to dispose of. The digestion process takes a total of ten days, at the end of which the leaf is capable of consuming another organism. However, it is rare for a leaf to consume more than a few organisms in its lifespan.

The Flytrap is native to bogs and is traditionally found in North and South Carolina in the swamps. However, with its unique nature, the plant has been cultivated for growth and consumer sale. Despite its popularity, the Venus Flytrap is notoriously difficult to keep alive, mostly due to neglect and ignorance. Domestic habitats must mimic its native habitat -- in areas of low humidity, the plant must sit in a pan of water in order to raise the humidity of its surroundings.

The plants must be given prey to catch; however, the traps should not be triggered manually. The plant is inherently capable of catching its own food. They must be given only distilled water, and provided with insects no more than a third of the size of their leaves.

Given the difficult nature of the plants, many would consider this plant more trouble than its worth. However, with careful attention to its needs, one can raise a healthy Flytrap and enjoy one of Nature's most unique and captivating organisms. <bio>Lanny Hintz writes about Henry Fields Nursery , http://www.flowergardennursery.com/Coupons/BloomingBulb.com.html </bio>

I am confused by all the bow sights out there

That is completely understandable. There are many different arrangements of bow sights that can be used on any type of bow. These bow sights vary in size and in range and can be found on the internet in plenty of places. The internet is full of places that sell these sights and there are many bargains to be found. It is up to the wise shopper to take advantage of a sale on these particular sights for any type of bow. It takes time and patience in order to find the right one for you and your particular type of bow.

Do I need scope bow sights or a side sight?

Again, these types of bow sights are entirely up to you. Some people feel better with a scope; others prefer just plain metal bow sights. This is matter of personal taste and you alone know what you can stand as far as a sight helper is concerned. If you cannot choose one for your bow, then why not ask for help in finding one from the manufacturer or even from a friend or hunting buddy. They would be able to offer you suggestions in order for you to find the right sight for your situation and abilities. They will also be able to point out where to look to get the best deal on a sight.

Are these bow sights really that important in the scheme of things?

In the long run, using bow sights will help you to be better able to aim the arrows and be able to hit what you are aiming at. In this frame of longer distances, doing it by just plain eyesight doesn't do it anymore. You need bow sights in order to nail long distance prey say a buck or a wildcat. You just can't be dependent upon your eyesight alone if you are trying to kill prey on a hillside a far distance away. This is one of the reasons that sights are needed on bows of all kinds especially when hunting. You need the extra magnification in order to see prey properly.

Ah, so I do need to get bow sights for my bow!

Yes you do, if you want to make long distance shots that matter. If is hard for the human eyesight to really look off a great distance and be able to aim with any degree of accuracy. It is just practically impossible to go after a grizzly for example that is maybe on the next hillside around 400 meters away. It just doesn't happen that way. You possible could do better on a closer shot, but why take that risk and lose a kill because you didn't use the technology available to take the shot and get a clean kill. It just can't be stressed enough that you need to use this technology in order to be able to cover more distances and to be able to see prey before it sees you.<bio>At Eagle Archery we are dedicated to providing you with the largest selection of Bow Sights on the Internet.
Anacondas are highly efficient carnivorous predators. They sheer mass there belies with speed when it comes to capturing their prey and getting there meal. How an anaconda kills is an amazing sight to behold. These creatures live near bodies of water such as streams, rivers, marshes, swamps, ditches and bogs.

They do not stalk their prey nor hunt it down. Instead, they wait for an available animal to wander close and then they attack. Animals falling victim to anacondas either already share the natural habitat of the waterway with the snakes or come close to their habitat in order to find food themselves or drink.

Anacondas can move relatively fast, especially when considering their size when they are in the water. They are much slower on land. So aquatic animals such as fish, frogs and turtles are easy prey for such feared animal! The larger animals the anacondas eat are caught because of the camouflage, stealth and strength of such animal.

Anacondas can slither near the edge of the water, keeping submerged until the last moment. Their natural coloring blends in with the area around them, allowing them to be camouflaged and difficult to see. An unsuspecting bird or land animal may get too close and suddenly find themselves in a death grip without an additional second of survival hope.

For an anaconda kill to occur, the snake coils its powerful body around the victim. Although the snake has teeth, there teeth are not venomous and they cannot kill or tear the flesh of the prey. Instead the anaconda holds the animal to maintain its grip and devours its prey slowly to make it a slow and terrible death.

The snake may submerge the victim causing it to drown but all the while the anaconda will slowly squeeze the life out of the animal. As a member of the boa constrictor family, the anaconda uses similar tactics for killing. It uses its body to restrict airflow and circulation of the blood. The victim will either suffocate, drown or be crushed to death. Like explained, in just an instance, the death is a slow yet painful process.

Once the anaconda kill is successful, the snake will commence eating its victim. It usually starts at the head and begins devouring its prey whole, swallowing it until it is completely ingested. The animal will now be digested.

This is something that needs to be done quickly else it will rot and cause the anaconda to die of food poisoning. The food is generally either digested quickly or regurgitated. This is a natural process that is highly efficient.

There have been instances of anacondas attacking people but the cases cited are very rare. Currently there are no known, verifiable accounts of an actual anaconda kill on a human victim. The anaconda instead prefers a diet of aquatic animals, birds, rodents, pigs and even jaguars.

Anacondas are able to go long periods of time without eating if necessary. However, they are also not picky eaters, choosing victims based entirely on their availability and ease of attack. Whenever an animal strays too close to one of these snakes, the odds of an anaconda kill are imminent.<bio>Warning: The video and content in our Anacondas section are educational for science and for exotic pet dilligence, however, not for everyone to indulge.
Many of us have seen the infamous picture of what looks like a Camel Spider as long as a man's thigh. Shortly before I went to the MidEast, I must have received that picture a couple of dozen times. Unlike the worried friends and relatives sending them, I was able to recognize forced perspective, and was not worried.

The creature often called a Camel Spider is actually one of the Solifugae, with about 900 species in that order. While they look like spiders, they are a different order than the Araneae. Solifugae are called Camel Spiders, Sun Spiders and Wind Scorpions. Solifugae normally live in the warm tropical and semi-tropical regions, preferring warm or dry regions, though they are also found in forests and grasslands.

They are known for the two long limbs on the front, ending in claws that function roughly the same as those of a scorpion. Solifugae also have long pedipalps, a sort of sensory antennae with the appearance of additional legs. These are tipped with adhesive tips to help the claws trap the prey.

They are carnivorous, or at least omnivorous, depending on the exact species, and are nocturnal. Their normal prey includes termites, beetles and other small arthropods. The Solifugae will find the prey with the long pedipalps, and then use the chelicerae, the limbs tipped with the pincers, to kill and chop up their prey. They prey is then liquefied and consumed.

Early in the invasion of Iraq, soldiers sleeping on the ground were horrified by the relentless attacks by Solifugae. It was later explained that the Solifugae were seeking a good source of shade and hiding under soldiers and sleeping bags from the sun. As soon as the shade goes away, the Solifugae will also. Those few cases of soldiers andquot;bittenandquot; bit a Camel Spider were all cases where the creature was trapped, either by a soldier holding it or a soldier accidentally trapping one in a sleeping bag.

There are a great many myths about these creatures. Despite the infamous photo, the biggest are about 12cm across including legs. They are fast, and can reach 10 miles per hour, as good as a sprinting human. They cannot keep up with a HUMMWV. They do not inject venom into sleeping humans and consume the deadened flesh, they do not attack prey larger than themselves and there is only a single species of Solifugae, in India, that may, according to some research, be venomous.

Extensive search has failed to find other examples. No known Solifugae produce an anesthetic. They will bit humans, but only when handled, in an attempt to escape. The wounds are much like crabs produce, and the ragged tears are prone to infection. The solution is simply not to try and pick them up. They do not leap into the air, hiss loudly and disembowel camels. These are simply the kind of stories told to tease newbies and entertain bored veterans. Despite the similar appearance to spiders, Solifugae do not spin webs of any kind.

- Anon Military Correspondent

For more helpful articles about pets and pet care at http://yourhealthypetsonline.com round the clock.
With the cool weather of the fall season, most lawn and garden pests and diseases begin to dwindle away. Yet, there are a few lawn and garden pests that thrive off of the cool temperatures of the fall season.

One good point about fall lawn and garden pests is that they won't have the chance to last as long as spring and summer pests because the freezing temperatures of winter will kill them off long before they do a tremendous amount of damage.

Still, though, if these fall lawn and garden pests have been at it all summer long, they may stick around through the fall and wreak havoc on the remaining lawn and garden perennials, bulbs and trees.

Fall Armyworms

The most beautiful part about the fall season is the different colors of foliage that will begin to appear in September and October. Unfortunately, Fall Armyworms love to prey on this beautiful foliage during the fall months, as their name suggests, and can do damage very rapidly.

They usually appear in September and will stick around until the first big frost. The major problem with this fall lawn and garden pest is that they almost always feed at night, making it hard to identify the problem until you wake in the morning to leaves that have been chewed around the edges.

The upside to Fall Armyworms as a fall lawn and garden pest is that they are usually easy to spot, as they are a large tan to dark brown colored worm with a large stripe either brown or red in color on each side.

Fall Armyworms often like to make themselves present in cornfields in the early fall months and can cause major damage to the remaining corn crops. For those farmers and gardeners who are aware of Fall Armyworms, a pretreatment of pesticides will usually kill the larvae that are preparing to hatch. Unfortunately, the pretreatment needs to be established by late July or August to prevent damage in September.

Grubworms

Grubworms like the cool weather season and feed more in the spring and fall months. Fortunately as a fall lawn and garden pest they do not do as much damage as they do in the spring, but they can still be a concern for some climate zones, especially those that stay above freezing well into November.

Keep in mind that grubworms will usually survive over the winter and turn into adult beetles, repeating the entire life cycle in the spring, and this is why grubworms can be such a problem for all seasons.

Most of the time, they will hatch in the late summer and begin feeding on lawn and garden roots in the fall. This is when gardeners will notice patches of dead grass or grass that is squishy or can easily be pulled up since the roots are missing.

If at all possible, apply grubworm control in the mid to late summer, something with the active ingredient imidacloprid, which is a chloro-nicotinyl compound. This will kill the larvae before they get a chance to hatch in the late summer and will keep the life cycle from perpetuating.

Sod Webworms

Similar to the grubworms, sod webworms have a year long life cycle that means they can become fall lawn and garden pests as well as being bothersome during the spring and summer. Instead of arriving in the form of beetles, the sod webworms come from adult moths that usually begin laying eggs in the spring.

The difference is that their eggs hatch fairly quickly but the webworms are so small that their infestation may go undetected until they cocoon and reemerge as moths in the late summer to produce another generation that is more destructive. This is why you may see sod webworm problems in the fall months.

While it is helpful to use preventive sod webworm control through Microbial pesticides, the problem is that many of these pesticides will not only kill the moths of sod webworms, they may also kill butterflies and even non-pest moths.

The best method of prevention is to simply clean up leaves, grass clippings, mulch and plant debris in the fall months to keep the webworms from making webs in these places and producing more larvae. <bio>Ted Roberson owner of landscape living is a landscape and garden enthusiast who has years of experience working and creating outdoor living areas.
Virginia is among the premier bird watching spots in the mid-Atlantic region of the USA. Virginia has a wide variety of environments and is visited by many species of birds.

Song birds

Virginia is home to large numbers of song birds. Along the coast, marshes, wildflowers, fields and areas of brush provide ideal nesting and feeding habitat. Other songbirds inhabit the tall pine forests there. Warblers, nut hatches, sparrows, red wing blackbirds and others nest near the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic coast in the summer, while cardinals, jays, woodpeckers and finches reside there during the winter months.

Shore Birds

Herons, egrets, ibises, oyster crackers, march hens and other shorebirds are frequently spotted along the marshes in places like Chincoteague, Assateague and the other barrier islands. On the beaches, dozens of species of sandpipers, plovers, gulls and terns feed, nest and raise chicks.

Birds of Prey

A number of birds of prey visit Virginia. Ospreys arrive in the spring to raise young and feed on the abundant fish stocks. As seasons change, some ospreys migrate south while other birds of prey arrive. American eagles, red tailed hawks and other large hunters are present in the fall thru spring. Other hawks such as sparrow hawks may be found year round.

Waterfowl

Ducks, geese, brant and swans all make stops in Virginia. In the refuge, geese and swans take up residence year round. Other full time residents include black ducks, wood ducks and mallards which raise their young on the marshes of Chincoteague Island, Wallops Island and much of the Chesapeake. As autumn arrives, ducks and geese migrate into the refuges and surrounding areas of Virginia. Shoveler ducks, pintails, mallards, widgeons, teal, rudy ducks, canvasbacks, redheads, ring necked ducks, bluebills, and others fly in. Mergansers, buffleheads, goldeneyes and other diving ducks show up in the bay waters as cold weather sets in. Off the coast, rafts of sea ducks and small groups of oldsquaw ducks forage along the shoals over the winter.

Pelagic Birds

The waters off the coast are visited by up to 30 species of pelagic birds including albatrosses, petrels, shearwaters, storm-petrels, phalaropes, skuas, jaegers, gulls, terns and alcids. These birds migrate along the offshore waters far from land. Many pass off the coast and never see Virginia's beaches. <bio>The author is a small business web designer, recreational angler and owner of several outdoor websites. Rarely do you find your soul mate on the first try.

Dating can be so much fun you don't realize, until too late, that you are actually dating Mr. Wrong. Your date may be the perfect guy and still end up being wrong for you. Unfortunately, the only way to learn if he is for you is to date him and really get to know him.

One way to minimize the possibilities that you're dating the wrong person is to be very clear on what you really want before you start dating. Knowing what you want in your prospective partner means you can easily decide to even have a second date. Where most people will tell you to look at the positive (and that is a good thing to do) when you date, you should also stay aware of the negatives.

Take off the rose colored glasses. Dating is a different kind of hunt and you need to know what your prey really looks like, their habits and their peculiarities. Dating is a unique hunt because you don't kill your prey; you take it home to live with you. It is best if you do indeed like your target.

Know yourself and what you want -- that is the first and maybe most important tool for the truly successful daters.
Hair loss is a widespread problem among the middle aged Americans, specifically among the men. Well, falling hair among men could result in complete baldness. As for women, their hair follicle show resilience and most often they are able to re-grow them on their scalp.

Your dermatologist would iterate on different possible reasons for hair loss when you consult him to curb your hair loss problem. Although many a times, doctors themselves fail to identify the possible reason behind the hair loss. And one such hard to identify reason for hair loss among men as well as women is hormonal abnormalities. You suffer from this type of hair loss but you are hardly aware of it.

This type of hair loss is predominantly meant for males. Male hormone or testosterone paves the way for Dihydroxy testosterone formation that adversely affects hair follicular function and disrupts hair regeneration cycle. This in turn results in hair fall. Hyper secretion of this hormone makes your scalp incapable of keeping existing hair firm onto itself. And ultimately it adds to your misery by causing complete hair loss or baldness.

Even a good number of women fall prey to this type of hair loss but their hair loss happens to be of less severe kind. Most often they experience it during pregnancy. Some women have been found with falling hairs after menopause. As menopause brings great hormonal changes in the woman's body, it affects her whole physiology and body functions. And of course hairs also get affected!

Post pregnancy hair fall is also due to hormonal imbalance. But this problem is short lived in women and once the hormone level returns back to normalcy hair follicles resume their task with same efficiency helping re-growth of hair.

Female hormonal hair loss could be effectively remedied with even some of the non prescription medications but men should take care in taking medications to combat excess secretion of DHT that causes hair fall. It is always safe for men to seek help of dermatologist and use prescribed ways to nullify effect of DHT.

Certain medications affect hormones and give way to hyper secretion of hormones. It also happens to be a cause of hair loss. Chemotherapy medicines have been identified with its influence on hormones as well. Such hair loss could be treated by stopping the use of medication if possible. Other wise you will have to wait till you are through with the period of medication.

These are the ways your hormones afflict you with hair loss. So keep track of your hormonal balance to save your hair. <bio>The author writes about a number of different topics.
The web communications revolution has provided many unprecedented opportunities for commerce =96 and unfortunately, quite a few opportunities for swindlers to prey on the gullible. This is just as true for debt consolidation as for anything else. Here are some debt consolidation scams to stay away from:

1. "Free Debt Consolidation Services"

Why are these guys doing it for free? How are they making money? Do be aware, though, that cheap debt consolidation services are not always a rip-off, although it would be a good idea to take a second look at anything that sounds too good to be true.

2. Consolidate Your Debts Using Free Government Grants

Yeah, right. The woods are thick with companies that offer information about "free government grants". Haven't you heard? Uncle Sam is giving away money like candy (which explains our high taxes!). And you can use this money any way you like =96 for example, to consolidate your debts. It's true that the government gives loads of grant money, but I have yet to hear of a Citizen Lifestyle Enhancement Fund. It's not easy to qualify for government grants, you have to spend the money for a particular purpose, and using it to consolidate your bills might just win you a free bonus =96 a five-year vacation at the Club Fed.

3. "No Repayment Necessary"

I don't quite know quite why I included this one, except for entertainment value =96 if you can read then you're probably too smart to fall for it. Anyway, here goes: Did you know that banking laws prohibit the charging of interest, and that the Supreme Court has backed this up with several decisions? You can borrow money, fail to pay it back, and then retain a smooth attorney to get you out of paying it back =96 after all, they had no legal right to lend you the money. Would you like to know how? Well, for the low, low price of $69.95=85

If you fall for this one then I've got some swampland in Florida I'd like to sell you sight unseen. Oh, and by the way, even if banking law DID prohibit the charging of interest, you'd still have to pay back the principal.

Most debt consolidation swindles are see-through because they aim to take advantage of somebody in financial and emotional distress. As P.T. Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute". <bio>"Debt Consolidation" at http://debtconsolidationguide4u.blogspot.com/ offers readers information about all types of debt consolidation.
When being chased at full speed across the plains of Africa by a cheetah the fastest animal on land, the chances of becoming a meal are quite high. For an impala there is not much it can do.

So for impala, antelopes and gazelles, the trick is to make sure that the cheetah does not chase you to begin with.

Cheetah's like all predators like to come as close to their prey without being seen. This is known as stalking and the purpose of stalking is to ensure that they catch their prey by surprise or sprint in the shortest distance possible hence avoiding long distance chases.

For predators the prey often has a head start, so different predators have developed different hunting techniques.

The cheetah is not built for long distant running, and the cheetahs heart is small hence if it cannot catch it's prey within a short time off achieving top speed it will burn out. If it's to make a kill, the cheetah must get within about 50 yd (45m) of it's prey.

They also tend to focus on the weakest, injured or youngest animals in a herd.

So for these antelopes, portraying any of these characteristics could easily land you on the cheetah's menu. The chances of becoming lunch given this animals capability are good.

These animals therefore have developed a curious behaviour, known as pronking, which studies show they use to intimidate or confuse a predator. They jump vertically into the air and appear to bounce along stiff legs, all four legs hitting the ground at the same time. It tells the predator it has been seen, so the chase will be hard.

The animal demonstrates that it is in full control of the situation and that the predator would be wasting time and energy in chasing it.

Pronking is infectious. First one or two animals will start, and soon the rest of the herd will join in. But who can blame them, no one wants to get left behind when everybody is demonstrating their fitness it would be like telling the predator, pick me!

The springbok of southern Africa is the grandmaster when it comes to pronking. As it leaps, the fan or crest of white hairs on the back are erected, and the head is bent forward and down almost to the feet. The hooves are kept together and the back is arched. At the moment it touches the ground, it springs back up again, sometimes jumping straight up, other times leaping forwards or jigging sharply to one side. Then, it lowers its fans, raises its head and races away at full speed.

As the predator nears and the chase begins, springbok warns the other antelopes by leaping straight-legged, up to 10ft high, into the air and releasing a scent from glands on its hindquarters.

This startling leap, the strong warning scent and the animal's zigzag course together spell out an urgent message to the rest of the herd =97 run as fast as you can!

The airborne scent acts as a trail, by the front-runners, keeping close together =97 if all the impalas ran in different directions the heard would fragment, and each individual would be more vulnerable to the hunter. Should a few animals become separated from the main herd, they can follow the scent trail to find their way back. The plains of Africa, the masai mara game reserve included are mostly short grass and scattered trees mainly acacia. <bio>Jerry Wanga is editor of http://Naady.com an online website that gives you ideas, destination and hotel reviews for Africa safari travelers.
When buying a house, the conventional maxim asks you to focus only on location. There is no doubt that location is very important. But, there are many other issues to keep in mind so that your efforts to ensnare a dream home do not become a utopian mirage. This article talks about some of those issues:

Do Not Be So Sure That You Can Time the Market There is a shipload of pundits out there who will swear that the market has reached its crest or its trough -- or both! But, it is your money in the game. So, do not let them all take you for one grand ride. Buy a house when you need it and can afford it.

It Does Not Cost What You Think it Does Do not just look out for the basic cost of transacting. Depending on the specific property, you could expect to spend tons of money on getting stuff up to shape. For instance, if you are buying a house, you might have to take care of interiors, plumbing, fixtures, ceilings, walls, painting, carpets, flooring, windows, doors, well that is just the beginning of the list. There is a whole lot more. Make sure to factor it all in.

Do Not Fall For Common Tricks of the Trade If you are a first time home buyer, there is always the chance that you might fall prey to some of the common tricks that a home seller might resort to. Here are a few for your reference, but it is up to you to use your creativity and imagination to avoid getting fooled.

Trick 1: Using excessive illumination to make the house look cheery. Some sellers will switch on all lights when they are showing you their home -- even if it is daytime. This makes the home look different than it actually is. Politely request to turn off some lights to get a better idea.

Trick 2: Using fragrances to disguise the stink. Surely that is something you would have caught, right? Make sure you do.

Trick 3: Being unavailable to answer questions. It is ok for the seller to be missing when you visit the home. But they must answer all your questions unambiguously.

Those are just a few of the issues you need to keep in mind when buying a house. <bio>Ajeet Khurana is a futurist, entrepreneur, teacher...
South America is home to the largest rain forest in the world, and this has made it one of the places that has been studied and toured by many of the famous researchers in the world. The area is known for animals and hosts the homes of some of the most magnificent specimens that can be currently found on the planet. Many rare species of animal are also present and the rain forest is now a protected area to prevent the destruction of many animals that are on the verge of extinction.

For many people the attraction of South America is simply the animals and nothing more. Because of the vast array of species there is more than enough to see. There is nothing short of a thriving population of animals that will bring about a good many photographic opportunities to the people who visit.

The Agouti is one of the largest rodents known to man. Living on the floor of the rain forest the agouti eats only plants and is fast to say the least. They have no tail and will freeze in place when they sense a predator in the area. This is their primary defense mechanism as most of the predators rely on movement to track their prey. This rodent has thick and coarse brown hair with vertical bands of color running across the back.

To come to South America is to know the myths and legends and the anaconda is the stuff that these legends are made of. Being the largest snake in the world, the anaconda is known to be one of the fiercest as well. Known to be well adept at hiding in shallow water despite their size, the anaconda relies on surprise and sheer power for hunting since it lacks venom. The largest recorded anaconda is nearly forty feet in length but larger specimens are believed to be living in the waters of the rain forest area. While it is rare, the anaconda has been known to attack and eat humans. There have been reports of this snake eating humans once they get a taste for blood and many of the local tribes worship this species as a god.

The Boa Constrictor is directly related to the anaconda but not quite as large. In the same family, the Boa will attack prey and then constrict the body before swallowing the prey whole. In most cases the boa will attack a large animal because it may not eat for a month or more. Most often they will attack mammals as their main source of food but they have been known to attack other reptiles if food sources are scarce. Many boa constrictors are kept as pets in South America to help control the rodent population despite the fact that boa's are endangered species and illegal to own. Attacks on humans are very rare with this species and they are known to be rather gentle animals when around humans, thus the reason they are popular exotic pets in the US. <bio>Read more from this author at: http://www.pets-mag.com </bio>

Labrador Retrievers are considered many things to many people. Because of their kind nature and obedient character, these dogs have not only made excellent companions and helpers, but they are most often used as service dogs for the handicapped and even the blind.

So, how many dogs are adaptive enough to live with a variety of roles and yet still have the personality to enjoy swimming, hunting, and play fetching games? These dogs are truly universal pets which is why they are a favorite dog to own for many people.

What Makes The Lab Upset?

Labrador Retrievers are the creators of long generations of breeders who used stringent selection for an animal that is extremely motivated to retrieve and throw themselves into icy waters, swim against the most powerful current, and swim back carrying a heavy waterfowl back to its hunter.

Because they have such a genetic ability to achieve this job takes strength, endurance, determination, and the mental toughness to ignore any pain during the process. Sometimes the prey may still be alive and trying to fight its way out of the dog's mouth.

The Determined Psyche Of The Labrador Retriever

The stress of performing their hunting abilities, as explained above, not only sharpens and strengthens a Labrador physically but it also shapes the dog's psyche. So, motivation and determination is something that can only cause your pet to be so driven that they can make the fall (find the position) of a fallen bird, search for it no matter how bad the terrain, recover its prey under any circumstances, and then bring it back to the hunter successfully.

Can You Learn From This Hunting Behavior?

Yes, and this is due to the determination that Labs have when out in the hunting fields. This is a great way to understand your dog's behavior in the home. Some people wonder why it is important to know just how incredible a Labrador retriever can function outside when hunting game - even if you do not take your dog out for such activities. The point to all of this is to understand how intent a Labrador Retriever's vision is as a hunter and then use that information to help you train when he acts up at home.

Several Labrador owners experience aggravation when their dog disobeys their commands at home. The reason is because these dogs react in a certain way to certain behaviors--this all links back to their hunting genetics.

This type of dog may react and make decisions that are only natural and good for their hunting skills, but not good for whatever training purposes you want. It would be best of you to learn and study your dog's genetic hunting capabilities and get a better sense of your dog's mental psyche when making decisions. Before getting a Lab, you should consider whether or not you are capable of handling all that it takes to care for one.

This will make your dog training sessions a pleasant experience.<bio>Article written by Kelly Marshall from Oh My Dog Supplies - to find dog food storage containers in every size, go to http://www.ohmydogsupplies.com/dog-supplies/food-storage/</bio>

Is it possible to be sexy without sacrificing all decency and modesty? Of course it is. In fact, sexy is a state of mind. You have to feel sexy before you can look sexy. It's not about societal expectations that we often fall prey to=85but rather it's about the inside out phenomena.

Have you ever thought to yourself when you see a pretty woman that if only I looked like her I would have it all? She is so beautiful that everything seems to fall into place for her and her life is essentially picture perfect. Think again=85her life is probably airbrushed and no different than yours. And if it is any different, it's only because she believes she IS sexy and basks in the confidence such self-assurance brings.

As women, we are the only ones that have the power to truly make ourselves feel sexy. Men will unfortunately fail us, friends and family are way too honest, and society is dying to tear you down so they can feel better. Don't worry, there is good news. The solution is simple. All it takes is a change in attitude and sexy will be synonymous with your name. In fact, Eleanor Roosevelt once said no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Actually grasping this concept alone will be your most valuable asset on your journey to sexiness=85remember it is a journey not a destination. Here are a few tips on how to look and feel your sexiest.

=95 Be confident and self-assured =95 Make time for yourself =95 Affirm yourself as the beauty you are =95 Stay healthy and eat well =95 Wear clothing made of feel good, soft fabrics =95 Accessories with sunglasses, jewelry, handbags, shoes, and scarves =95 Go for a completely different look such as something exotic =95 Wear every day pieces in a new way =95 Change your make up or nail polish (a little red lipstick goes a long way) =95 Remember your dress size has nothing to do with sexy---EVER =95 Get an eyebrow wax and have your hair done =95 Wear something that accentuates your confidence and makes you look and feel sexy =95 Fall in love

When I speak of the inside out phenomena, I simply mean that once you take care of the inside, suddenly outward sexiness will follow. True sexiness requires the wholeness of the person. Aimee Mullins once commented that confidence is the sexiest thing a woman can have. It's much sexier than any body part. Once the self esteem and positive thinking fall into line you will notice an outward conversion as well. Clothing choices will mimic the inward sexiness you feel. What we wear says a lot about who we are. Maybe you will don a little lingerie that was once taboo for you. Lingerie, unlike shoes, dresses, and handbags is not worn as outwardly for the world to see. So you may ask=85why bother when I can buy plain garments that serve the same purpose. Only you can answer that question. What we wear is often a direct reflection of who we are and how we feel about ourselves. Don't kid yourself=85you are beautiful on the inside and out. So even if no one ever sees it, wear it with enjoyment knowing you are a magnificently sexy woman!

At www.verysupersexylingerie.com you will discover how to look like a gorgeous lingerie model=85and therefore very sexy You'll learn secrets every lingerie model knows to accentuate her assets and hide her imperfections=85no matter her dress size. <bio>Stephanie is the owner of La Bella Amour Lingerie, the premier on-line boutique catering to all your fashionable lingerie and spa product needs.
Coastal vacation scam artists take people's money with promises of phony vacations. Many of these offers use words like "cheap Hawaiian vacation" to lure travelers.

Most people dream of taking a coastal vacation. They may hope for a cheap Hawaiian vacation package or dream of a coastal vacation resort weekend.

But many coastal vacation scams disguise themselves as legitimate offers. Police report an increase in coastal vacation scams in recent years.

The Internet spawned a new breed of coastal vacation scam artist wanting to cheat honest consumers out of their money. Anyone who types in cheap Hawaiian vacation package into a "Google" search engine will find over one million his.

The Federal Trade Commission reported 3,600 consumers scammed in 2002, amounting to $3.5 million. How can consumers tell the difference between a coastal vacation scam and an honest cheap vacation package?

1. Many people operating coastal vacation scams will ask for a credit card or other financial information early in the conversation. Many of these so-called vacation companies want consumers to give their financial information online for a "cheap Hawaiian vacation."

The desire by the company to receive financial information before the consumer feel comfortable doing so should indicate a red flag and a possible coastal vacation scam.

Many cases of identity fraud started with coastal vacation scams. Consumers receive their bank or credit card statements and find that in addition to their "cheap Hawaiian vacation," charges of cash advances and purchases of high-dollar merchandise.

Consumers who fall prey to identity fraud should contact their local law enforcement immediately about the coastal vacation scam.

2. The company operating coastal vacation scams will offer the consumer very little details about the planned trip. The person on the other line, on the phone or on the Internet, will offer constant assurances the hotel in the cheap Hawaiian vacation package features Oceanside views, luxuries rooms and private balconies---very broad descriptions.

The "seller" of the coastal vacation scam may claim they stayed there many times but cannot give specifics.

The company asks the consumer not to contact the hotel or resort directly about the vacation package, another sign of a coastal vacation scam.

If the consumer cannot confirm the reservations with the hotel directly, the consumer should look elsewhere for a cheap Hawaiian vacation. Consumers should get the details and take charge of their coastal vacation and not fall prey to coastal vacation scams.

3. Coastal vacation scam artists use word like "free" or "vacation offer." Often these so-called "offers" include a daylong presentation before families can use their free tickets--a common coastal vacation scam technique.

If consumers cannot see the islands on their cheap Hawaiian vacation and must sit through lengthy presentations, the vacation may not seem so "cheap."

4. The Better Business Bureau and other government agencies maintain lists of coastal vacation scams. Smart consumers check these lists and report any contact by these coastal vacation scam artists.

One of the more popular ruses offers a cheap Hawaiian vacation or a cheap family vacation package.

Fear of a coastal vacation scam should not keep consumers from seeking out great vacation deals, like a cheap Hawaiian vacation.

Many companies offer legitimate family vacation packages and an honest travel incentive program that saves families even more money on their vacation costs. Coastal vacation scams should not discourage travelers. <bio>Ben Jordan an x-Fortune 500 executive turned coastal vacations scam buster.
I remember someone once said, "If you want to know how clean anyone is, visit their bathroom to see what it looks like". Many people will laugh when they see such statements as such, but it is the reality. This statement is subject to debate, but there is a lot of truth in it.

You see, for you to think about bathroom remodeling, you are among those rare individuals who know the importance of their bathroom, and who will not fall prey to the above statement.

No doubt, it is a sign of cleanliness to want to remodel your bathroom. There are many people who don't care about their bathrooms. Such people end up embarrassing themselves because when visitors come into their houses, they are likely to visit the bathrooms. In such cases, if the bathroom is not in a good shape, you would end up with a negative impression in the mind of the visitors.

Apart from visitors coming to your home, it is also beneficial for you to remodel your bathroom- for the sake of cleanliness and livability. This will help you because like the popular statement goes- "cleanliness is next to Godliness". A clean bathroom is fun to have as it signals cleanliness.

Looking at it closely, it is in your bathroom that you wash up to reveal your cleanliness. If it is not in a good shape, then how can you clean up yourself with it? Wouldn't it end up making you dirtier than you were before you used it?

Also, bathroom remodeling gives your home more value than how it is before bathroom remodeling. This means that if you are to sell your house, it will cost much more because of the remodeling you did to the bathroom. Since you cannot move the bathroom to your new house, it will be included with your sale and will attract more money, especially if you did the bathroom remodeling well. <bio>"Want to Discover 4 Remodeling Secrets?" http://www.house-remodeling-tips.info http://www.house-remodeling-ideas.info http://www.remodeling-tips.info </bio>

In addition to make it somewhat confusing the common North American walleye is sometimes referred to as the yellow walleye to distinguish it from the extinct blue walleye. The "Blue Walleye" was a prolific fish of the Great Lakes- predominantly Lakes Erie and Ontario.

This different species of fish "The Blue Walleye" was a prolific fish to the extent that it was heavily commercially fished in the Great Lakes fishing regions.

Unfortunately the popularity and delicacy of this fish lead to its demise and extinction. Up to 50 % of the commercial fish catch of the area was of the Blue Walleye variety fish.

Over fishing in the 1950's led to a population crash of the Blue Walleye fishery. In the 1960's the introduction of the Zebra Mussel into the Great Lakes Catchment area was the final straw. By 1965 the Blue Walleye of the Great Lakes Fisheries was pronounced extinct for all practical purposes =96 although an occasional fish is caught by anglers from time to time.

In some parts of its range, the walleye is also known as the walleyed pike, yellow pike or pickerel (esp. in English-speaking Canada), although the fish is related neither to the pikes nor to the pickerels, both of which are members of the family Esocidae.

Genetically, walleyes show a fair amount of variation across watersheds. In general, fish within a watershed are quite similar and are genetically distinct from those of nearby watersheds. The species has been artificially propagated for over a century and has been planted on top of existing populations or introduced into waters naturally devoid of the species, sometimes reducing the overall genetic distinctiveness of populations.

Walleyes are usually larger than perch fish and can be distinguished from the perch fish by the Walleye's more distinctive scale colors. The more specific fish descriptive term can be said to be a more specific description of a type of Walleye which is also referred to as "Yellow Pike" or "Pickerel" fish. The fish name of "Pickerel" is well established as a description in Canadian areas such as the "lake Winnipeg "or "Red River" Pickerel. In actuality it actually is not a proper term as true Walleye fish are not pike fish or pickerel fish. Yet the name has stuck. If nothing else the term "Yellow Walleye" is the correct term which also distinguishes the Walleye fish from the extinct blue walleye varieties.

Walleye fish show some variations across different watersheds. What gives the Walleye fish its distinctiveness and the word "Eye" in its name is the trait of the Walleye fish is the luminescence of their eyes. Like feline cats the eyes of Walleye fish reflect light. This is most noticeable at night.

Walleye fish can see well for hunting their prey in low light conditions.. Walleye fish actually have a specific light gathering layer in the anatomy of their eyes.

As a result Walleye fish feed at night. Knowledgeable anglers and fisherman know that often the best time to fish for them is at night. Even better the fish can also see well in stained or rough turbid waters, giving them a real advantage over other competitive fish species and the prey of the Walleye fish as well.

Where to best catch your "King Walleye"? Walleye fish can be found lurking in turbid waters However where the natural habitat of Walleyes is, particularly deep commonly clear water lakes and ponds with beds of submerged aquatic plants and medium levels of nutrients. Lastly Walleyes are best caught when the water temperature is cool =96 below 55 degrees Fahrenheit (12.78 degrees Celsius) All in all the fall season is when Walleye fishing can be the most fun. <bio>Jadran N.
