No such place can give us that freedom, because all such places would be within our universe, and it is limited by space, time, and causation. There may be places that are more ethereal than this earth of ours, where enjoyments may be keener, but even those places must be in the universe and,therefore,in bondage to law; so we have to go beyond, and real religion begins where this ends. These little joys, and sorrows, and knowledge of things end there, and the reality begins.

Until we give up the thirst after life, the strong attachment to this our transient conditioned existence, we have no hope of catching even a glimpse of that beyond. It stands to reason then that there is only one way to attain to that freedom which is the goal of all the noblest aspirations of mankind, and that is by giving up this little life,giving up this little universe, giving up this earth, giving up heaven, giving up the body, giving up the mind, giving up everything that is limited and conditioned. If we give up our attachment to this little universe of the senses or of the mind, we shall be free immediately. The only way to come out of bondage is to go beyond the limitations of law, to go beyond causation.

But it is a most difficult thing to give up the clinging to this universe; few ever attain to that. There are two ways to do that mentioned in our books.

Yet the Universe always has a balance. If there is an up there is an equal and equivalent down. The left is balanced with the right. True North is the exact opposite of True South. Everything in the Universe has an equal and equivalent opposite. Yet it is true that some things are more preferable than their opposite. For instance, most people would much rather be happy than sad and most people would much prefer health over sickness.

Yet when one strives to live with an , the concept of take on new meaning. Being truly grateful for all of the gifts of an abundant Universe means being open to receiving. The true gifts of the Universe are very often not of a material nature but they are more of a more ous and spiritual nature. The love of our families and friends, the beauty of nature, the joys we find in our work are some of the sweetest gifts we can receive and they are all far from being material items.

Even in our giving of gifts to others we can receive back the gifts of the Universe. Seeing someone else's happiness when they open up the gift we chose especially for them is our gift to be grateful for. Watching the enjoyment of our families and friends as they in the holiday we prepared for them is a gift from the Universe to be grateful for. Enjoying the excitement as the children wait for Santa is a gift to be grateful for.

When we speak of the universe, we only mean that portion of existence which is limited by our mind -- the universe of the , which we can see,feel, touch,hear,think of, imagine. This alone is under law; but beyond it existence cannot be subject to law, because causation does not extend beyond the world of our minds.

Anything beyond the range of our mind and our senses is not bound by the law of causation,as there is no mental association of things in the region beyond the senses, and no causation without association of ideas. For many years now I have been seeking spiritual answers, and have read and studied many different forms of spirituality. As anyone will tell, they all have the same basic messages. One message you hear repeatedly is "There are no ." This is an aspect of synchronicity, when random incidents come together to lead you forward in your own personal evolution.

I was recently reminded of this principle. Someone mentioned the book "The Secret" to me, and I was anxious to read it. A few days later a copy appeared in the , sent to me by a friend. This led to many other interesting and helpful "coincidences", all stemming from that first casual mention of the book.

While reading the book, all the other bits and pieces from all the spiritual books I've read over the years seemed to coalesce in my mind, supporting and expanding on the principles in The Secret.

One of the major aspects is that we create our own reality, or in other words, our predominant thoughts create our life experience. On a smaller, but no less extraordinary scale, we think of someone we haven't thought of for a while, and the phone rings and there they are. On a larger scale, if our thoughts are predominately negative, our lives reflect those thoughts. The gives you what you want.

The trick here is to create consciously. Awareness is everything. Yesterday I took a walk by the harbour to clear my head and see if the universe had any messages for me. I began to notice birds of all kinds following me, or so it seemed. Gulls, terns, crows, goldfinches, all seemingly walking the same path. Wow, I thought to myself, that has to be a great sign.

And then I tuned in.

And realized I had been thinking about birds since reading a cute thing by Douglas Adams that morning that said the reason we like birds is because they're called birds. So yes, it was a sign from the universe, in that I thought about birds and birds I got!

Sadly, my conscious intention was to walk by the shore and think myself some wealth and properity...instead I got birds.

This is just a cautionary tale. Sometimes there are thoughts running on other levels that are in direct opposition to what we want. As with all things, practice and constant vigilance do help.

Imagine yourself in the life you want and give thanks to the universe for giving you that life. Feel that you already have it. As the White Queen says to Alice: "It's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards." In other words, remember your perfect life in the future.

Once you become aware of the signs the universe sends you, pay attention and take action! It may not be at all what you expect, but as the Dalai Lama said, "I am open to the guidance of synchronicity, and do not let expectations hinder my path."

My advice is this: breathe deeply and create consciously. Pay attention to the flow of synchronicity and take action. You deserve every good thing this universe has to offer. By moving outside and above the atmosphere of the earth, the Hubble telescope has been able to observe visual data much more clearly than a terrestrial telescope, and it has been able to see much farther into the ultraviolet and infrared spectrums as well, since these spectra are largely absorbed by the earth's atmosphere. Thus, by moving the observing platform into open space, the Hubble telescope has given a much clearer view of the universe, allowing scientists to peer even deeper into space.

The Hubble telescope is named for , the astronomer who originally determined that the universe is expanding. This discovery, one of the foundations of modern astronomy and , made Hubble an excellent choice for the honor of having this telescope named for him.

The concept for the Hubble telescope was originally the idea of Lyman Spitzer back in 1946. He clearly saw that earth-based telescopes were inherently limited in their ability to see into the heavens, since dust, clouds, and even turbulence in the atmosphere interfered with telescopes' clarity. Which meant that the best way to get a clear image from a telescope was with a telescope that was in orbit around the earth.

After some success with the smaller Orbiting Astronomical Observatory, the plan for a large scale telescope was born. There were some fits and starts however, mostly due to budget constraints, and the project did not really take off until the 1970's and funding was not approved until 1978. Then, with funding in place, plans were made to launch the Hubble telescope in 1983. However, due to various delays, it was not actually launched until 1990.

After a few early problems, the Hubble telescope finally started sending back clear images. And those images were well worth the effort. The Hubble telescope was able to achieve a sharpness and resolution that was unimaginable with a standard, earth-bound telescope; crisp images that not only showed new detail in known areas of space, but also peered deeper into space than ever before. And with these new images, astronomers have been able to discover new and exciting information about our universe.

However, it is not only astronomers who have been amazed at the images that the Hubble telescope has produced. In fact, the images from Hubble are delights to view all on their own. From the clearly defined galaxies, to pictures of nebulae, to the Apollo 15 landing site, Hubble has been as exciting for the public as it has been for scientists.

As the Hubble telescope ages, its future is uncertain. Corrective software has allowed earth-based telescopes to pick up much of the information previously possible only with a space-based telescope. And as NASA retools itself to follow its mandate to take a man to Mars, money that would be spent on maintenance of the Hubble is being spent elsewhere. Then you're going to severely limit yourself and the universe!

Although you should be specific with what you want, you shouldn't tell the universe how to do its job. Getting Mr. Howard to present you with that check is a difficult task because Mr. Howard may not be on the same as you and so you both cannot line up. Although I wouldn't consider it impossible, I would consider it very unlikely to occur.

Remove your attention from the "how to". Let the universe decide that!

There are two ways of getting yourself into with your desires.

- The first way is to see yourself already in of what you want.
- The second way is to feel good.

And that's it! That's the "secret" of "The Secret" DVD.

To become a deliberate creator you must follow one of those two methods of getting into alignment with your desires.

Have you heard about rocks before? Well, basically they're little rocks made of nothing special that you keep in your pocket. Every time you reach into your pocket and touch the rock, you're reminded to give gratitude in that moment for all of the that's already in your life. That's just one way of getting into alignment by feeling good.

And if you use something like a vision board and you put up all of your then that's just a process to help you see yourself already in possession of what you want.

Every single process, no matter what it is, will fall under one of these two categories. You either feel good about anything at all, or you see and feel yourself already in possession of your desires.

Personally I use a mixture of the two. In fact, I use 11 processes throughout every week to get myself into alignment with my desires. Every single one of my daily processes are specifically designed to help me feel good and so manifestation occurs.

You already know that the universe is responding to your asking, and now you know what you must do to receive your desires by getting into alignment with them. Using the Law of Attraction is easy.

Getting into alignment is where all of your work is. Feeling good as much of the time as you can or feeling your desires as if they're already here - that's where your focus must be.

Let me ask you something... why wouldn't you want to feel good as much of the time as possible? If you're struggling for an answer then take a moment to reflect on your life. Only you get to choose what you feel, no one else has that control other than you.

Once you accept your present condition and each time you go into meditation, you are taking yourself to a higher plane or dimension. Each time you feel grateful and tell the universe that, you are on your way to becoming a fourth dimensional person. When this happens, you can attract what you desire quickly and elegantly. The the universe knows that you want to change, the sooner that your requests will manifest.

People who are already successful using the power of law of attraction, are seldom negative, temperamental or resentful. In fact they are the complete opposite and always want to share their successes and guide you through the same path. They are not selfish or arrogant because they know the law resent that in them. You can see them on television today. These successful people promote the value of the law of attraction to help people all around the world because they know that by helping and sharing, they also get abundance. What a wonderful way to live when all you do is being grateful and help people. Should not everyone be like this? If everyone knows this law and practices it, we can eliminate war, hunger and poverty, and this world will be a great place to live, much like what is was intended to be when it was first created. It would be as if, you decided to go shopping at the clothing store. First you would pick the clothing store that is aligned with your style, not what is aligned with your budget, but with your style.

You see, what you need to do here is stretch your perception of self. The way you see yourself and the way others see you are . When your Higher Self is in action, you don't focus on a limited thought pattern. Open up to the highest and ask for support. When you are wondering if something is the highest for you, put out into the Universe and ask: Is this really the highest for me? You may do this in mediation or quiet moments.

You will be surprised at how little you are asking

You are asking very small. You need to expand.

All is available to you, but you've got to ask. This is sometimes a difficult process, but it is the most important piece that you can do, because without asking, you do not expand into the next level. Focus on places in your life where you know it is time to grow; as you are tired of the place you are in. Take the time to write them down and explore what your reality is and what your dreams are.

You can now go and just ask for the highest, and the highest good will come to you=97when you let go of the form it will take and any attachment to the outcome. It is important to practice expanding your visions.

If you write your dreams down on paper and think, "I couldn't achieve that," at least you have put it down so that there is something to work with.

Look at the issues of conflict and resistance here. If it feels like a piece of your dream isn't coming to you, it's because you're not allowing for it to be received.

Allow yourself to receive the abundance of the Universe. Allow yourself to receive the energy of Love=97true unconditional love=97without fear. Allow yourself to receive the energy and the true love and healing of who you are.

The Universe is bringing you all that you need now. All you need to do is ask. Much like you go to the restaurant and order from a menu, just order what you wish, and it will be brought to you. But just as you are ordering from a restaurant, order what is delightful and peaceful to the palate, not what is the essence of the budget. If you order bread and water, this is what be brought to you, so order from the highest categories, and you receive that.

The more you laugh, the lighter you dance.

Over and over in your life, you will see small ways in which this is performed and brought to you, and you will laugh. You will laugh at the signs; you will laugh with great humor at the ways these things fall into place.

Laughter, as you know, makes the heart so light.

Asking and Receiving Exercise.

Without asking, you do not expand into the next level of your consciousness. Most of us ask far too little of the Universe. Dare to acknowledge your deepest and dare to ask. Dare to ask big, and then open yourself to receiving. Expect miracles and stay open to receiving all the Universe has to offer.

1. Explore places in your life where you have not yet dared to ask for your dreams.

2. Affirm to the Universe, either through visualization, meditation, or in writing that you are formally asking for and are open to receiving whatever it is that you most desire.

1) Self-confidence.

Do you believe that you are a powerful creator in your own right? Really? Or do you still see yourself as a victim, at the mercy of both internal and external factors that are out of your control? Do you often feel overwhelmed or frightened by your circumstances? If so, you don't really believe in your own ability to change them!

To turn this around, begin working daily on affirming your own power as a deliberate creator. Remind yourself that your own thoughts, beliefs and emotions are what attract your circumstances, and you have the power to choose those - ALWAYS!

2) Confidence in a loving universe.

Do you often feel like the universe is working against you? Do you believe you have "bad luck?" Do you feel like you're being punished for some forgotten ? The perception of an angry, judgmental universe (or "God") is something that many of us received when we were growing up. The problem with this perception is that it keeps us feeling like we have to walk around on eggshells lest we trigger a wrath of punishment and suffering for our transgressions!

In order to overcome this limiting perception, begin changing the way you see the universe. Imagine that the universe is kind, loving and supportive of you and your dreams. Affirm that you've got a , enlightened beings, or simply a loving God cheering you on, wanting you to be happy. The more you work at shifting your perception of the universe to one that is loving and kind, the more confidence you will have that you can be, do or have anything you desire.

3) Trust the process.

Also important is having confidence that the Law of Attraction really does work. At the beginning of your conscious creation journey, you probably won't believe this. You may WANT to believe it, but you won't have a strong level of confidence yet. Once you begin seeing the proof with your own eyes, your confidence level will soar!

In the meantime, one good way to begin building greater confidence and trust in the process is to embrace a bit of "active faith." Simply CHOOSE to believe that the Law of Attraction works. If doubts pop up (and they probably will), simply affirm that you are setting them aside for now and continue to choose to believe anyway. It may take practice, but the more you do this, the more easily you'll start to TRULY believe.

Confidence is really all about believing. It's about knowing, deep in your heart that you are a powerful creator with the ability to turn your life into anything you desire.
