I believe that divorce is one of the biggest epidemics in our current society that isn't being recognized or treated as such. As a marriage and family therapist, of course divorce is something that I am passionate about because it is something that I am spending my life to fight against. I am not ignorant enough to believe that I will see all cases of divorce end during my lifetime, nor am I ignorant enough to believe that all divorce cases even should be prevented. I am, however, perhaps ignorant in my belief that it is crazy for people considering divorce to get advice from a divorce attorney.

Now, most of you are thinking I'm crazy. Who would go to a divorce attorney for advice about their failing marraige? Many people, unfortunately. I had no idea until I began working with marriages and families in crisis just how many individuals and even couples were seeking refuge and advice with their divorce attorney.

I was overwhelmed by my new knowledge for one primary reason. Have people considering getting a divorce forgotten that a divorce attorney is the very last person who will be concerned with them repairing a broken marriage? A divorce attorney makes a living helping married people get divorced while getting as many benefits from the divorce as possible. So why would any nearly-divorced person go to a divorce attorney in hopes of fixing their marraige? Beats me.

My advice to anyone struggling in their marriage is to make an appointment to visit a professional counselor or a marriage and family therapist. The core reason why I suggest this is because in general, counselors and therapists are people who deeply want to see marriages and families restored rather than torn apart. If I am looking for someone to help me fix my car, then it is far wiser to get help from an individual who actually believes that cars can be fixed, right? Of course. The same is true with marriage. Do not go for help to someone who believes that marriages should end easily and for any reason at all. Go instead to a professional who is trained in giving you wisdom about ways to make your relationship work.

A divorce attorney is great for people who are sure that divorce is the option they are choosing. If, however, you are still unsure of your options and if you are still hoping for healing in your marriage, then a divorce attorney is the last person you should see. <bio>Triston Huntsmin is a marriage and family therapist who hates seeing people get caught up with poor advice from a divorce attorney.
Things often fall apart, and the center cannot hold, in the words of Yeats; this rings especially true with marriage. The issue of stopping divorce is a tricky subject to touch on, because, more than problems, it involves one spouse who wants a divorce and another who doesn't. Essentially one person wants to continue a relationship and the other doesn't; however, there are shades of gray, and that's where professional help comes in.

The first thing to do in this situation is to seek professional help, both legal and otherwise. Talk to your spouse and see if they will agree to marriage counseling; if they won't, offer a period of separation so they can figure themselves out.

If they do agree to counseling, make sure it's with a reputable person who has helped others in your situation. Counseling can help tremendously in many ways. Perhaps it will help you identify problems you weren't aware of, solve issues that have hounded you for years, or simply get a better idea of what's going on in your spouse's head.

This can be the greatest help in coping when your spouse wants a divorce and you don't. And perhaps after, you'll find out you were holding on for all the wrong reasons and agree to the divorce. However, no matter what happens, you will have a better idea of where your spouse stands.

If your spouse still wants a divorce after counseling, don't draw it out. Be aware that though counseling helps in many cases, in others, it doesn't, and that's when it's time to let go. While it may be tempting to try and hold on as long as possible, it just isn't healthy, especially if you have children.

Most of the time, stopping divorce from going through just isn't possible; you can delay it and go to what's called a 'grounds trial' to try and prove there are no grounds for divorce, but the simple fact remains that your spouse wants a divorce and you don't. This begs the question of whether you really want to stay with someone who doesn't want to be with you.

Of course, nothing is ever that cut-and-dried, and that's why seeking professional help is the best way to cope with this situation. If possible, get both couples and individual therapy; it's not cheap, but so worth the tremendous amount of anxiety and heartache you'll either avoid or learn to cope with. <bio>If you would like to stop divorce please visit http://www.marriagemax.com/when-to-divorce.asp </bio>

There is no way around it; divorce is a painful process to go through. Even when the relationship has been on a downward spiral and both parties have been miserably unhappy, ending the relationship with a divorce is a tremendous loss on both sides. Many who go through a divorce will grieve the loss of the partnership in the same way one grieves for a person who has died. In some cases, more years together will result in a greater sense of loss and abandonment when the divorce takes place. For others, even the end of a newer marriage can trigger similar feelings, with grief for the loss of a companion during a divorce compounded by the shattered dreams and hopes of the life together that was anticipated. If you are currently going through a divorce, or still reeling from a separation that is now legally complete, there are people who can help.

The Divorce Process

The main person who will help you get through the divorce process itself can be your divorce attorney. Your divorce attorney will see to it that your rights are protected, your property is divided fairly and your children are well cared for. Sometimes simply knowing that your divorce is in the able hands of your attorney gives you the necessary confidence to make it through the process. Your divorce attorney can even guide you through a mediation and amicable divorce agreement so you can avoid the stress of court altogether. This is especially true if you have children involved in the process and you are concerned about whether their rights are being protected under divorce law. If you need further assistance dealing with your divorce and don't know were to turn, your divorce attorney may also be able to point you in the direction of a competent individual who can help you work through the many negative emotions you are reeling from.

Support Groups or Group Therapy

If the pain and loss are not getting any easier after the divorce process is complete, it might be time to consider joining a support group or group therapy. There are many divorce support groups in every area of the country, so you should be able to find one that you are comfortable with and that works well with your schedule. If you are unsure where to look for these groups, you might ask your divorce lawyer that handled your divorce proceedings for a recommendation. At the very least, you may take comfort in the fact that others are experiencing similar situations. You may also get sound advice from people who have gone through the process before you and have learned methods of coping with the situation through their own experiences.

Divorce is a challenging situation that can bring up feelings of abandonment, loneliness, anger and even grief. Don't try to go through the process alone. If you are unsure where to turn, ask your divorce attorney for assistance in getting the support you need to survive this difficult process.<bio>Brad Jefferson has worked with many couples and individuals dealing with divorce.
You don't necessarily need a solicitor or lawyer to manage your divorce if it is uncontested, i.e. you and your spouse agree to the divorce, although if there is other issues that you need to decide upon, for instance maintenance or dividing up property, it may be helpful to have a solicitor draw up plans. Obviously if the divorce is contested, meaning that either you or your spouse disagree to the divorce or the grounds for divorce ,you will need to involve a solicitor to see if there are grounds for divorce.

You are not automatically entitled to a divorce, you need to be able to show one of five facts which have affected your marriage.

When there are children under the age of 18 involved, (known as minor children) the courts will be concerned about the decision that has been made for them. They will need to know that the arrangements you and your spouse have made are in the Childs best interests. You should ask a solicitor to approve the plans that you and your spouse have made for them.

You should be able to resolve easily the dividing of property in your home, but if you own substantial property it may be in your interest to have a solicitor make sure you receive a fair amount and that the property is divided up tax effectively.

If you will be financially dependant on your spouse after the divorce, you will need to get a solicitor to negotiate a regular payment amount and to get the amount legally protected.

If you can agree as much as possible with your spouse about the divorce, then it is possible that you can conduct the divorce yourself, only requiring the services of a solicitor when necessary. By conducting the divorce yourself, you can save you a great deal of money. <bio>Sharleen Standling is a proud contributing author Find more articles at http://www.mindbodyandsoulportal.info For more info visit <a href="http://www.onlinelawsuitresource.info/sitemap.htm">http://www.onlinelawsuitresource.info/sitemap.htm or http://www.onlinelawsuitresource.info/divorce-lawyers.htm </bio>

Few things are as tragic or traumatic as a divorce--especially for any school-aged children who may be involved. It is almost a given that despite the best intentions of the parents to keep everything civil, children will still generally choose sides and ultimately decide who they believe caused the divorce. For this parent, reconciliation can seem like an unending nightmare. In many cases, the scars caused by a divorce will linger on in a family for generations to come. While many families choose the "let's not talk about the divorce" strategy, few children can accept such a closed-minded answer.

Few divorces begin mutually. There is usually one spouse who files for divorce first and ends up hurting the feelings of the other in the process. It is common for children to identify with the parent who was served papers, especially if they are perceived as an innocent victim or at least as the parent who was trying to make the marriage work. Many children will blame the parent who filed for divorce even when it was actually the better thing to do--for all involved.

It is also common for the children of a divorce to have more sympathy and respect for the parent who has primary custody. This parent is generally perceived as the one who must work a job PLUS take care of the children while the other parent only has to send a check and maybe spend some time with them on the weekends. If deliberate steps are not immediately taken to establish a relationship with the children after the divorce has been finalized.

The primary problem is one of trust. The child often feels betrayed by the parent who, in their mind, caused the family to split up. The only way to reestablish this trust is to make sure to be completely honest when they ask questions and to make sure that all commitments are honored--in other words, the child now wants, or rather expects, the offending parent to now treat them with the respect that they did not receive prior to the divorce.

A divorce does not always have to have a good and a bad parent. It is possible that the family can survive a divorce without completely breaking apart at the seams. When children are involved, it is important to reestablish trust with them by being completely honest and fulfilling all commitments made to them. Only by treating children with respect and giving them a voice in family affairs will there still be a family after a divorce. <bio>Jesse Taylor helps you and your family locate the best and most up to date information about http://www.SocietyInGeneral.com.
It is estimated that one in three couples who were married in the past decade will go through a divorce. Divorce is a word that affects millions of people. We have all known someone who has gone through a divorce or been through a divorce ourselves. When an individual is experiencing divorce this can be a very sad and lonely time and some people have trouble recovering.

If one does not recover from a divorce then that person is cutting their life short. There are so many amazing things that can happen to a person who has gone through a divorce. After a divorce an individual is given a new chapter in their life to write in any way, shape or form. This is a chance for a person to do things they have only dreamed about. If you are having trouble recovering from divorce and want to regain control of your life, you may want to consider hypnosis.

Hypnosis is a form of therapy that works on an unconscious or a subconscious level. An individual who undergoes hypnosis will be placed into a deep state of relaxation. It is during this deep state of relaxation that our subconscious mind is the most receptive to new ideas and perspectives. As our subconscious mind remains "open" positive suggestions will be delivered. These spouse suggestions are designed to offer encouragement, provide motivation, give confidence and define a definite plan for recovering from divorce.

A person, in the process of hypnosis, will learn how to visualize themselves recovered from their divorce, leading a happy and healthy life. Hypnosis allows a person to "see" themselves recovered and to "feel" how great life is after divorce. Divorce does not have to remain a roadblock that is stopping you from living life. Put the past behind you and take hold of a bright, new future. Can you imagine living life with zest, vigor and excitement? Your life can be everything you always dreamed of even after a divorce.

If you are experiencing a hard time recovering from divorce then, as a practicing hypnotherapist, I recommend that you seek out the services of a qualified hypnotherapist located in your area. Get more enjoyment form life and recover from divorce with the help of hypnosis. <bio>Steve Burns is the founder of The Therapy Lounge (http://www.thetherapylounge.com), a hypnotherapy practice based in NW London.
Smoothing things over becomes an unpleasant task for many amateurs in divorce cases, a task that these people are not usually prepared to face. Bitter words and harsh times can create even more uncomfortable, awkward and very tense situations or environments for the parties involved and even for those around them. Having a professional who can help to fix these situations and draft and create fair, just settlements for divorced couples can be invaluable to these couples as they go through the divorce process.

Strangely, when one thinks of a family law attorney, they often think of those lawyers we have seen on television that have sinister ideas and intricate plots to destroy the lives of their opponents. What one will discover if they spend any time at all with any attorney is that this is simply not the case. The vast majority of attorneys are committed to discovering what is fair and implementing a settlement that reflects this. A family law attorney is not interested in taking a bad situation and making it worse. This does not benefit them at all and goes against the sense of fairness and equality that they fight to protect. A family should never go through a divorce alone, without the counsel of a professional to guide them through what can become ugly situations and hard times.

Especially if there are children involved in the divorce, these situations can become bitter messes from the very beginning. Former couples sometimes spend countless dollars and a great deal of time trying to decide who is going to have custody of their children after their divorce. What is often forgotten in situations such as these is: what is best for the children? A family law attorney will bring their expertise in these situations and past experiences in similar cases in helping the family decide what is best for the children. Many families face the unpleasant requirement of putting their children through a messy divorce when the parents cannot get along or stay married to each other any longer. When divorce seems inevitable, the parents will usually fight often, be miserable and create tense situations inside the home, which their children often pick up on. So, getting divorced may be the best thing for the children in some cases, as nobody wants their children to grow up in these circumstances. A messy divorce, however, will often create the very thing the parents were trying to avoid, a tense and uncomfortable situation for their children. Having a family law attorney to help the parents through these troubled times will help to smooth the situation and create a fair and calm environment for the children.

As everybody knows, divorce is not a fun experience for any party involved, and that includes the children. A family law attorney can help the situation by bringing information, experience and fairness to the situation. This will help the ex-husband and ex-wife sort out their divorce and make the decisions that are best for everybody involved.<bio>For more information on the process for a Divorce in Irvine or to schedule a consultation with a Family Law Attorney visit the offices of Diefer Law Group</bio>

Some people tend to make it more difficult for things to take place when they really need to. This happens most times when it comes to the relationship. People find that they are not compatible after a few years in time and then they decide that they need to divorce. This is more than common place these days as people are getting divorced every day. In many cases this becomes a bitter battle to see who can hurt who the most in the shortest amount of time. Making the most of this situation is the best chance that you have for being amicable in the case of the time that you need to be happy and still be divorced. What many people tend to forget when they are going through a divorce is the fact that the children that are involved are going to be adversely affected by the divorce. This is the first thing that most people should be thinking about but sadly they do not take the time to put the children first in the whole situation.

When there is a child involved divorce the effect of the break up can mean some feelings in a child that are difficult to deal with. The first feeling that most children go through is that the divorce is their fault. This is the most dangerous of all the feelings that a child will have in the process. When this occurs there is an onset of depression that can overwhelm the child and make it difficult for them to bounce back to their normal self. To help stop this type of reaction from the child you should take the child and sit down for a good long talk. In many cases even the smaller children will understand much more then the adults will give them credit for.

This is the reason why the parents that are planning on divorcing should take the time to speak with their children. Sit them down and tell them that there is nothing that they have done wrong in the whole situation. Make sure that they understand that the divorce is based on the adult issues involved in the whole matter and nothing to do with the how they have behaved or how they react to anything. You should sugar coat any situation that could shed an unpleasant on either parent. This can have a very poor effect on the way that the child deals with the divorce should one or the other parent be made to take the blame for the entire divorce. You need to maintain a level head throughout the entire ordeal for the sake of the child.

The other issue is to remain on the same page as your spouse when it comes to how to handle the child. The main mistake that a lot of divorcing parents make is to try and make themselves come out in a better light then the other person involved. Children will use this type of thing to their advantage to make certain things happen. Before you know it there are problems and the child is impossible to handle. To avoid this happening you should remain on the same page as your former spouse when it comes to the discipline and raising of the children. <bio>You will find more from this author at: http://www.myfamily-magazine.com </bio>

Divorce can be very frustrating, especially for a child. Both parties, the husband and wife, will really fight for the properties and also the custody for their child. They want to be able to get the proper compensation after the divorce. However, the most important thing when settling a divorce is not always the money or the property, both parties will really fight for the custody for their child.

For this, if you are getting a divorce, you need a divorce lawyer to properly present your case to the family court. You need to show the court that you have done nothing in your relationship that caused both of you to divorce and also, when getting the child's custody, you need to be able to show the judge that you can support your child in education, shelter and also the needed parental care.

Tell your divorce lawyer the reason why you are getting a divorce and why you are suitable to be in custody of the children instead of the other party. You need to tell your lawyer how much you make annually, your job, and also how you care for the child.

Divorce can really have a major impact on a child's psychology; they will often wonder why you and your partner is getting a divorce. It is very important that you both explain it to your child so that he or she can understand why.

If you live in Chicago and you're getting a divorce, you will want to look for a well known divorce lawyer in order to present your case. The lawyer will then advice you on what to expect in the court and what can you do to win the case and get custody for your child.

They will tell you what the judge may do for the child's welfare. He or she will decide who will get custody for the child. The judge will determine and weigh evidence wisely to determine who will get custody for the child.

There are different divorce laws in different states, so, you should know about the divorce laws carefully. Your divorce lawyer can explain a few things for you in order for you to understand the law about divorce better. He or she will be able to shed light on the subject.

Usually, the judge may assign the person who is not in custody of the child to give child support. He or she should be able to give a specific sum of money at a specific day every month.

There are also visitation period allowed for the parent who does not have custody for their child or children. It can be either once a week, or it can be once a month. It all depends on the decision of the judge.

A person from the court or child welfare office will also visit your house and the other parent's house to make sure that the child is treated properly. They will also take a look at your income and determine if you are capable of raising a child.

Always remember that divorce can have a major impact on a child's psychology. If you and your partner can still work it out and not get a divorce, it will be much better. You can visit family counselors in order to help you solve your differences without getting a divorce. <bio>This content is provided by Low Jeremy.
With the divorce rate at an all time high, it is important to have a full understanding of divorce laws. Nearly 50% of all marriages will end in a divorce. Therefore, it is vital that you know the ins and outs of the laws. Divorce laws do vary from state to state so it is important that you check with the laws for your particular state. However, there are some general laws that apply across the board.

If you are looking for an alternative to the more traditional litigation, divorce mediation might be an option. A mediator's main priority is to try and help the two parties come to a mutual agreement. The neutral third party is there to ensure that both parties are getting a fair deal. A mediator can work with the spouses to work through problems such as child support, custody, visitation, property division, alimony and much more. Another alternative to the more traditional litigation is collaborative law. For those divorcing couples who wish to avoid litigation but require strong legal representation, they should consider collaborative law. Collaborative law gives you the ability to retain a team of divorce professionals.

Some people believe that one party will receive a majority of the property division. However, it is more likely that the marital assets will be divided fairly evenly for both parties. Therefore, it is vital that both parties create some clear priorities and decide what is really important to them.

Health insurance and taxation are two other important issues when considering a divorce. If your insurance coverage is through your soon to be ex-spouses employer, then it will be important that you continue to have coverage for yourself and any children involved. This can all be worked out through legal litigation. With regards to taxes it is important to determine what dependency exemptions both parties are eligible for.

There are a variety of divorce laws that are set in place for divorcing couples. Divorce is not an easy situation for anyone. However, by knowing and understanding the divorce laws in your particular state, you can ease some of the headache associated with divorce. <bio>Opinions in this article do not necessarily reflect the view of http://www.easleyandmarquis.com/ which the author would like for you to visit. </bio>

You can find many articles that promise quick solutions to stop a divorce. The truth is that there are no fast rules you can follow in order to stop an impending divorce. If your partner decides to file a divorce, it could be difficult to stop it. You're going to need a lot of effort to make your partner change his or her mind. You have to be ready to face your partner's ire - and confront your own hard feelings as well. Furthermore, you're going to need patience to work on your marriage because this will surely take time. Although quick results can never be guaranteed, there are solutions to stop a divorce.

One of the most effective solutions to stop a divorce is the power of persuasion. You and your partner are each given the option to slow down your divorce - if you want to. Since you're here, you're obviously looking for a way to fix your marital troubles and put a stop to the divorce proceedings as soon as possible and at all cost. If a divorce has been filed and you don't like it, your only hope is to persuade your partner that your marriage is worth a second chance - and there is no better way to do this than to tell him or her about the many disadvantages of divorce.

A divorce must not be entered into lightly because its consequences are of the most serious matter. Whether or not you and your spouse have children, a divorce can strongly affect your lives. One of the most painful effects of divorce is the breaking up of a family. If you don't have children, you and your spouse would still have to deal with discouraging thoughts about marriage and family. If you have children, you and your spouse would cause them more pain and confusion than you can imagine. Many psychologists believe that the effect lasts a lifetime, and children of divorced couples usually have poor academic performance, difficulty in their own relationships, general bitterness towards society, and familial instability right after the divorce and even as they grow older. Moreover, a divorce entails money; it is expensive. It can reduce your living standards since you will be forced to live on your own paycheck. Tell your spouse that solutions to stop a divorce must be employed because a divorce will hurt not just your children but you yourselves, your personal relationships, your faith, your romantic hopes, your pocket, and the way you live.

This is why marriage counseling is suggested before resorting to any drastic measures such as getting a divorce. If you haven't gone through marriage counseling yet, ask your partner to consider this option and give it a try. Convince your partner that such an option isn't only for you - it's for his or her sake, too. Many divorce couples who filed for divorce before trying out alternatives like marriage counseling have confessed regretting their decision. They say their choice still haunt them and make them think of what could have been had they chosen to at least attempt to save their relationship. Solutions to stop a divorce abound, and you can pick an alternative, such as marriage counseling or even a trial separation, that doesn't carry the life-changing consequences that a divorce can bring.<bio>Want the best solutions to stop a divorce? You have many important decisions to make and they should be made calmly and clearly.

2. It's OK to use an attorney, but don't retain one to take over your case. You should stay in control of your divorce and your life. Because lawyers are trained in an adversarial method of practicing law, if you let them take control, conflict is bound to escalate, making things worse.

3. Take an active role in your divorce: educate yourself about the procedures, become informed about the rules, and make your own decisions. The more involved you become, the better the outcome.

4. Keep it simple! If one spouse gets an attorney, the other one might too. Two attorneys start off costing just double, but soon they are writing letters, filing motions and creating conflict, which means escalating costs. Do as much as you can yourself and save on legal fees so you can send your own child to college =97 not some lawyer's.

5. Remember that fighting will not prevent a divorce, it will only make it more unpleasant and much more expensive. Use my proven techniques to calm yourself and settle things down so you can more easily and painlessly reach the agreements that you ultimately are going to make anyway.

6. Realize that most divorce problems are not legal problems, but rather are emotional and personal problems. Neither the law nor attorneys have solutions for these types of problems. Trying to use legal tools on personal problems only makes things worse =97 not better.

7. Understand that fighting parents frighten children =97 ask yourself if expressing your anger justifies the hurt to your child. Children learn from what you do, not what you say. By working to settle your differences and come to agreement, you teach your children that problems can be solved.

8. Consider that the real divorce is free. It's about ending one life and beginning another, then making it work =97spiritually, emotionally and practically. Successfully meeting the emotional, physical and practical challenges is hard work, but it will lead to a better divorce and be well worth it.

I give detailed advice on how to follow these steps in Divorce Solutions: How to Make Any Divorce Better. <bio>Ed Sherman is a divorce specialist attorney and award-winning author of How to Do Your Own Divorce in California.
Based on 36 years of experience with cases numbering in the tens of thousands, divorce specialist attorney Ed Sherman knows exactly what you can do to make any divorce better. Here's an overview =97 five essential steps to getting a better divorce:

1. Go slow. Unless there's an immediate threat of harm to you or children, it's better if you don't hurry. Your spouse needs time to accept the idea of a divorce and to digest ideas you propose for how to rearrange your affairs. You both need time to let emotions calm and adjust to your new reality. You need time to learn about the rules of divorce, how organize your facts, make sound decisions and how negotiate with your spouse. So long as you can make your situation safe and stable, even for a short time, you do not need to rush.

2. Get your facts straight. Whether you see an attorney or handle everything yourself, you need to gather essential details about your marriage, family, income and expenses, assets and debts. No one can do this for you, not even if you hire an attorney. Why pay an attorney hundreds of dollars to sit down with you to develop this information when you can do it yourself for next to nothing?

3. Become informed and take charge. The most important thing you can do is to become informed and prepared before you do anything or say another word to your spouse and especially before you see a lawyer. In fact, you will probably find that you don't need a lawyer. You'll find almost everything you'll need to know in How to Do Your Own Divorce in California or Divorce Solutions.

Studies show that people who know what's going on and take an active role in their cases get better, cheaper, easier divorces than those who do not. Other studies show that controlling your own case is the single best predictor of a good outcome, meaning better compliance with terms, less chance of post-divorce litigation, increased goodwill, better co-parenting, faster healing. If you know what's going on and control your case, you will save money, reduce conflict and feel better faster.

4. Avoid the legal system. The legal system is based on conflict, where both sides compete to win. Besides, very few divorces have problems based on legal issues. Almost all divorce problems are personal, not legal, and lawyers do not have tools that can in any way help solve your problems=97none, not any. In fact, they tend to make things worse. The best thing you can do is to keep your case out of courts and lawyers' offices except for very limited and specific purposes. We show you how.

5. Keep business and personal matters separate. The legal aspects of divorce are about business =97 money, property, procedures, paperwork, negotiation, and so on. Business and emotional matters do not mix, so the best way to reduce conflict and confusion is to keep business matters as separate as possible from emotional issues. This doesn't mean you don't need to deal with emotional matters =97 just not when you are taking care of business. <bio>Ed Sherman is a divorce specialist attorney and award-winning author of How to Do Your Own Divorce in California.
Divorce and Marriage Records: Court divorce records could also turn up interesting lawsuits and disputes that your ancestors may have been involved in. Although not all government divorce divorce records are public and available through the Internet, there is a very substantial amount of information that can be gleaned from web-accessible public divorce divorce records databases. All you have to do is search for "public divorce divorce record" sites, and you'll find (for a fee usually) anything that you need to know.. What kinds of things can I find out in public records? There is an abundance of information you can find from looking through public records.

You could do a background check on a child care provider before trusting your children to his or her care. Developing and maintaining the kind of information to help you find someone or something is time consuming and expensive. That's why organizations like theirs must charge a fee. If you value your time at all, we feel their services are well worth it.

If your public divorce records search is not timely or is just to avoid using the phone book, we recommend you try your local state or county websites. But if your search is urgent and challenging, take a few minutes to explore the sites mentioned above. Each public divorce records resource we've sited comes highly recommended and provides information on other research resources. . Search from over 1 Billion Official US Government Records: http://www.criminalrecordusa.info/searchrecords.html

If family history (genealogical research) is something that you are just becoming interested in then the best place to start is with yourself. While recognizing the right of the public to information, the safety of those mentioned in court divorce records must also be upheld. Since court documents need to be filled with accurate details, releasing them to the public should never be at the expense of the proper enforcement of the law. The danger is not only a forever tarnished reputation; it is also very likely that someone may want to seek revenge and as such 'track down' people involved in a particular case.. <bio>Massive Government Public Records at http://www.marriagerecordusa.info/searchrecords.html </bio>

After my divorce was final, I found myself finally dealing with my feelings about the divorce. During the divorce I was consumed with court dates and legal issues and did not have time to mourn the death of my marriage or deal with the many emotions divorce stirs up.

Working through all of the different emotions and feelings of loss, betrayal, anger and disbelief took many months. One emotion I was surprised to feel was loneliness.

At first I thought that it meant it was time to go out and try and meet someone new. Then I realized that what I really craved was not a boyfriend, but attention, love and friendship. That was when I decided to get a puppy. After all, puppies give you unconditional love. They are thrilled to see you even if you have only been gone for an hour and they are loyal, cuddly friends that will never betray you. Sine my youngest child was 7 years old at the time, I also had the urge to "baby" and take care of someone helpless again.

I adopted Luigi a 3 month old Maltese, 5 months after my divorce was settled. Luigi is a wonderful, loving, loyal little guy who has brought me an enormous amount of joy. He is truly my "best friend". He is there for me in good times and bad and I can count on his love and devotion.

If you are going through a divorce and feel a sense of sadness and loneliness, you need to work through these emotions. Meeting someone and getting serious too soon can be a mistake. If what you really crave is love and attention, think about adopting a pet. Ironically once you feel loved and needed again, you will naturally attract someone into your life will respect and honor you. <bio>Christina Rowe is the author of the new book "Seven Secrets To A Successful Divorce-What Every Woman Needs To Know".
