<content:encoded><![CDATA[It all depends on how <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/birth+parents" rel="tag">birth parents</a> and stepparents get along with each other. If everyone involved is friendly with one another than no special arrangements need to made and the bride and groom can plan the wedding however they want. However, this is rarely the case. If there is some problem with birth parents and stepparents, this article will outline some guidelines that can assist the stepmother in following correct <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+etiquette" rel="tag">wedding etiquette</a>.<br><br>Begin by thinking of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+invitation" rel="tag">wedding invitation</a>s for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/divorced+parents" rel="tag">divorced parents</a>. Traditionally, the parents of the bride will host the wedding ceremony and they will be first on the wedding invitation. It is proper etiquette to have the mother and father on separate lines on the invitation if they are both contributing money to the wedding. If stepparents are also contributing money to the wedding, they can be included on the invitation as well.<br><br>The next thing to consider is your seating plan. What is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/correct+etiquette" rel="tag">correct etiquette</a> for parents who are divorced? The bride decides this but usually the mother should be seated up front. If the mother and father get along, they can sit on the same row together. If they do not get along, the father can sit on the row behind his former wife. Typically, the stepparents sit in back of birth parents. Of course it is awkward to have ex-spouses sitting on the same row together but the day is not about who is the current wife of the biological father, it is about the bride's special day.<br><br>Family photos can be an etiquette problem as well. The majority of photographers will shoot different photos for birth parents and stepparents. The two sets of parents will not usually be in the same photo but if this does happen, the mother and stepmother should be put on opposite ends of the photograph. It is not strange for the stepparents to not be seen in the official <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+photographs" rel="tag">wedding photographs</a> at all. Therefore, do not be personally offended if this occurs because it does fall within correct etiquette for parents who are divorced.<br><br>At the wedding reception, etiquette dictates that stepparents take a back seat to divorced parents, that is unless they are co-hosting the reception with the birth parents. If the mother hosts the wedding and the father hosts the reception, it is acceptable if the stepmother takes a place in the receiving line and the mother is not there. However is the birth mother is hosting the reception, it is best that the stepmother not attend. Obviously these petty points on wedding etiquette for divorced parents is only a guideline and can and should be adjusted by the bride's needs and wants.<br><br>Lastly you have the family dance. What does wedding etiquette say about divorced parents and the family dance at the reception? The stepmother is again asked to bow out and allow the bride to enjoy her day with her birth parents. The father of the bride will dance with his daughter and the mother of the groom will dance with her son. If the reception provides for a family dance then the stepparents can dance with their mates.<br><br>These wedding etiquette tips will hopefully provide the bride's divorced parents with assistance in planning and dealing with their daughter's wedding without hurtful and embarrassing mistakes.<bio>Get free tips and professional advice on<a href="http://www.marrycustoms.com/wedding_shower_etiquette.php">wedding shower reception etiquette</a> and learn the best <a href="http://www.marrycustoms.com/wedding_toasts_according_to_etiquette.php">wedding etiquette toasts</a> for your wedding day at <a href="http://www.marrycustoms.com">http://www.marrycustoms.com</a>, the professional wedding invitation etiquettes</bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[As a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+consultant" rel="tag">wedding consultant</a>, I am asked questions about etiquette more than any other topic. Brides generally fit into two categories when it comes to etiquette: those who want to plan knowing that their actions will be socially acceptable to avoid any embarrassment, and those who aren't concerned about etiquette because "it's my wedding and I'll do what I want, thank you very much." <br /><br /> This article is intended for the latter bride. It is certainly nice to have the table set correctly, the appropriate person in the appropriate spot, etc. However, have you ever considered that other people's feelings are at stake? <br /><br /> Not only can you avoid looking a little silly by overlooking simple etiquette, you can also be kind and considerate to those closest to you who are sharing in your special day. For example, I know of a bride who asked her sister-in-law to be in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bridal+party" rel="tag">bridal party</a>, but not her brother. As I'm sure you can imagine, her brother was not only hurt but was placed in an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/awkward" rel="tag">awkward</a> situation when asked by a guest why he wasn't in the bridal party. <br /><br /> Weddings are stressful enough as it is. Unintentionally hurting a loved one causes tension and disappointment for many. You don't want to start your new life by leaving your loved ones in the dust in your old life. <br /><br /> In my professional opinion, the best course of action to take concerning <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+etiquette" rel="tag">wedding etiquette</a> is to either discuss your situation with a wedding consultant or read as much as possible on wedding etiquette. Once you are fully educated and well-informed on the topic of wedding etiquette, combine the part of the etiquette that makes sense to you with what you really want for your wedding. Oh, and don't forget to ask the groom his opinion (that would be the proper thing to do, you know)! <br /><br /> Besides wedding consultants and books, there are several great websites that can assist you when determining the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/correct+etiquette" rel="tag">correct etiquette</a> for your wedding. Some of these sites are <a href="<a href="http://www.bridalblog.info">http://www.bridalblog.info</a>"><a href="http://www.bridalblog.info">http://www.bridalblog.info</a></a> and <a href="http://www.<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/theknot" rel="tag">theknot</a>.com">http://www.theknot.com.</a>. Be sure to look for helpful information on these sites. <br /><br /> Another great avenue for wedding etiquette is to talk to an elderly person about his/her own wedding. Oftentimes, today's society does not adhere to etiquette as much as was done in previous generations. Not only can you get some great information, you will probably brighten this person's day. Showing interest in someone else's life is another great etiquette tool to have in your bag. <br /><br /> Whatever you decide to do, always keep in mind that wedding etiquette is yours for the taking. It's not something you have to put a deposit down on, taste, or fit onto someone's schedule. It's simply taking the time to let the people you invite to your wedding know that you care enough about them to take their feelings into consideration, even if it is your day. Pleasing your guests in any situation should be the goal of a hostess; pleasing your closest friends and family on your wedding day speaks highly of you and your groom. <br /><br /> Pepper Montero <bio>Pepper and her husband run a wedding coordination business in South Carolina. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Online chat is one of the best aspects of playing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/online+bingo" rel="tag">online bingo</a>. Not only can players meet other players from other countries, they can win extra money by playing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chat+games" rel="tag">chat games</a>. <br /><br /> As with all other games, there are a few rules regarding online chat. These rules are called online bingo <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/etiquette" rel="tag">etiquette</a>. When players enter the chat room, they are expected to know and follow the required etiquette. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bingo+players" rel="tag">Bingo players</a> are not to use CAPS when conversing in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/online+chat+room" rel="tag">online chat room</a>. This is considered to be rude and is only used when players are angry or yelling at each other. The main reason for this online bingo etiquette rule is that the CL's use capital letters to differentiate themselves from the other players. <br /><br /> Players should <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/respect" rel="tag">respect</a> and listen to the CL at all times. The CL is there to host chat games and have fun conversations with the roomies. Although the CL's are always very nice, they have the authority to kick players who do not follow rules from the online bingo chat room. <br /><br /> Respect is a very important part of online etiquette. Online bingo players should respect the CL's and their decisions. They should also keep in mind that players are from different walks of life and they should respect each other at all times. According to online bingo etiquette, players are not allowed to make any racial, ethnic or sexual slurs. Players should not use abusive or foul language. All the other players are there to have a fun time, and it is unfair to them if other players behave in an offensive manner. <br /><br /> When choosing a nickname to use in the chat room, players should keep in mind that according to online bingo etiquette players are not allowed to use nicknames that other people might see as offensive. This includes swear words, words associated with sexual, ethnic or racial terms and nicknames with offending connotations. <br /><br /> Another important aspect of online bingo etiquette is that players should remember that bingo is an honest and fair game. To keep the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chat+atmosphere" rel="tag">chat atmosphere</a> friendly and fun, players should not complain or get angry when they do not win. Everyone's got a fair chance to win at this game. <br /><br /> An important rule of online bingo etiquette is that players must be eighteen or older before they are allowed to sign-up at an online bingo site. This is because according to the law players should be over the age of eighteen to participate in gaming. <br /><br /> Players should not be angry when another player does not answer them. Although it is online bingo etiquette to answer when the CL or another player ask a question, some people schedule buy games in advance. This means they are not always in the online bingo chat room and might not know that another person is trying to chat with them. <br /><br /> Adhering to online bingo etiquette is simple and it makes the online bingo game and chat room fun for everyone! <bio>Emma Madison has been an online bingo fanatic for over 7 years. <content:encoded><![CDATA[We all believe that we are practicing good <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cell+phone+etiquette" rel="tag">cell phone etiquette</a> when we venture out into the world with our <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cell+phones" rel="tag">cell phones</a> and our daily mission. It is not uncommon for us to get a little wrapped up in ourselves and violate the basic rules of cell phone etiquette. This can be particularly difficult when we aren't even sure of the rules when it comes to cell phone etiquette. <br /><br /> Obviously, talking on your cell phone in public places that a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/quiet+environment" rel="tag">quiet environment</a> is paramount is considered quite rude. Libraries, court rooms, and high end restaurants are the most obvious, and yet people still believe that they are exempt from this very basic example of cell phone etiquette. <br /><br /> Even more <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/appalling" rel="tag">appalling</a> is the basic attention that a cell phone can require. Regardless of where we are or what we are doing, we can be reached, and of course, we can be distracted. Whether we are having a quiet moment with a loved one or a meeting with a potential client, cell phones can quickly drag away our attention. There is little that matches the glaringly obvious communication <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/faux+pas" rel="tag">faux pas</a> as the cell phone that creates the distraction and the answerer who puts their "live" individual on hold. <br /><br /> Cell phones come with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/voice+mail" rel="tag">voice mail</a>, which is to provide us with the freedom of allowing a computerized voice to take a message for us. This means we are not obligated to take every single call, and of course, if we are busy we can reach the individual when we are through. <br /><br /> Hopefully most of us have enough basic cell phone etiquette to refrain from answering our cell phones while engaged in excretion activities. Why is it any less appropriate to allow the computerized voice to take a message when we are currently engaged with someone else's time and attention? <br /><br /> Perhaps this is the basic cell phone etiquette misunderstanding. Cell phones have the capacity to intrude on the value of other people, whether we are sitting in a restaurant talking loudly to an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/anonymous+voice" rel="tag">anonymous voice</a> on the other end of the phone, or allowing our boss to interrupt a tender moment with our significant other. The moment our cell phones intrude on the respect of other people, we are guaranteed to be violating basic cell phone etiquette. <br /><br /> Cell phones definitely have their place in our society. However, with the exception of checking the caller ID to be assured that it is not a wayward child trying to reach a parent to retrieve them, cell phones need to come with more convenient off switches. Perhaps it would be more prudent to ask people to locate their off switch. <bio>Cathy Peterson writes about <a href="http://www.phonesunwired.com/Coupons/CellularFactory.html" >http://www.phonesunwired.com/Coupons/CellularFactory.html</a>, <a href="http://www.phonesunwired.com" >http://www.phonesunwired.com</a> and <a href="http://www.phonesunwired.com/Coupons/T-Mobile.html" >http://www.phonesunwired.com/Coupons/T-Mobile.html</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[As you begin planning your wedding and the expenses begin to add up, you might begin to wonder who is going to pay for what. There is no need to worry. Unless you and your husband to be want to pay for the entire wedding yourselves, there is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+etiquette" rel="tag">wedding etiquette</a> that dictates how financial responsibility should be divided between the couple and their families.<br><br>Typically, the bride's family pays for the wedding ceremony according to wedding etiquette. This responsibility includes items for the wedding and activities that occur during the wedding ceremony. The bride's gown, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/reception+flowers" rel="tag">reception flowers</a>, announcements, pictures, invitations, favors, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/limousine+service" rel="tag">limousine service</a> and the fees for the venue will all be the responsibility of the parents. The parents need to cover the expenses they will have as far as clothing, lodging and travel if necessary.<br><br>Wedding etiquette leaves the groom's family to pay for other things. The groom's family is usually responsible for paying for the rehearsal dinner. They would pay for the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rehearsal+dinner+invitations" rel="tag">rehearsal dinner invitations</a>, flowers, entertainment, the fees for use of the venue and a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+gift+for+the+bride" rel="tag">wedding gift for the bride</a> and groom. As far as the reception, the groom's parent's only pay for the groom's cake.<br><br>The bride and groom pay for some things as well. The bride pays for her groom's wedding ring if he will be wearing one. The majority of the time, she will choose a wedding band that matches the wedding set that she has. She should also buy gifts for the attendants. The bride pays if she gets her hair professionally done along with any beauty and skin treatments. If the bride's attendants are traveling from far away that need assistance paying for their lodging, it is proper that she help with the expense. However, the attendant is still responsible for paying their own traveling expenses. If the bride is going to have a luncheon for her bridesmaids, she should pay for it.<br><br>The groom is responsible for paying for the wedding set of his bride and a gift. The groom also typically pays for the honeymoon and the marriage license if you are using proper wedding etiquette. The groom may also pay for such things like the boutonnieres for his attendants, the bouquet for his bride, gifts, and corsages for mothers and grandmothers. He will also pay for the one who will be performing the ceremony and his own clothing.<br><br>The attendants are responsible for their own clothes for the wedding as well as their own travel expenses. Bridesmaids should buy a present for the bride and they may want to host a bridal shower or bachelorette party. The male attendants should buy a present for the groom and pay for the bachelor party.<br><br>Even with these etiquette rules, the world is always changing and there are a lot of times that these roles change depending on the needs of the individual people and couple. A couple may want to pay for their own wedding. The couple may want to ask their families to pay one third of the wedding expenses. This way no etiquette rules are broken. It should be noted that the parents will be entitled to invite one third of the guests if they are paying for one third of the wedding.<br><br>However expenses are divided, your wedding budget should be realistic and reasonable so that the marriage can start off without a lot of debt. If you desire a big and elaborate wedding that you realistically cannot afford, you should try to find cheaper solutions that will make your wedding still turn out nice. Do not expect parents of the bride and groom to spend a lot of money if they cannot afford it. Follow the etiquette that is best suited for who can pay for what expenses for your wedding.<bio>Uncover the secrets behind good <a href="http://www.marrycustoms.com/addressing_wedding_invitations.php"> etiquette for addressing formal wedding invitations</a> and <a href="http://www.marrycustoms.com/bridesmaid_luncheon.php"> wedding luncheon etiquette </a>via expert weding planner etiquette guide and resouce portal at <a href="http://www.marrycustoms.com"> http://www.marrycustoms.com</a></bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/good+manners" rel="tag">Good manners</a> is always appreciated anywhere and is a matter of common sense and consideration for others, combined. In the workplace, protocol remains basic despite the changing modes of doing business. So, do you know your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/teleconferencing" rel="tag">teleconferencing</a> etiquette? <br /><br /> Starting the conference <br /><br /> There is not much difference from the old-fashioned meeting procedures and the present practice for teleconferencing. As always, everybody should be on time and ready with their reports. It is unprofessional and inconsiderate to arrive late for meetings, and that's exactly the same with teleconferencing. <br /><br /> If you are charged to facilitate a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/teleconference" rel="tag">teleconference</a>, do some tasks ahead. Part of your assignment is to prepare the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/venue" rel="tag">venue</a> and the equipment. For the venue, select a quiet place because background noise can be picked up by the speakerphones. While you are it, check the speakerphones if these are working, so these can be fixed or replaced days before the teleconference. <br /><br /> Proceed to prepare <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/email+messages" rel="tag">email messages</a>. If it is the usual people meeting, you know who to inform through email the date and time of the teleconference. An omission is a costly mistake, as well as a slip of teleconferencing etiquette. <br /><br /> The information sent should include the agenda of the meeting. This will give the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/participants" rel="tag">participants</a> the time to arrange their schedules. Before the date, you call each of them reminding them of the meeting, as well as to give them the dial-in number and password. <br /><br /> On the Day of the Conference <br /><br /> There's nothing irritating like a late facilitator. Be an hour ahead of the appointed hour, enough time to give the venue a once over. You can also review your brief. The brief, pre-approved by the chairman, should contain instructions for all participants before the meeting is called to order. <br /><br /> Greet participants that come on line and when everybody is ready, read the instructions or announcements. Request the participants to mute their speakerphones until it is their turn to speak because a speakerphone can pick up the tapping of a pencil and paper shuffling. Such background noise can be distractive and a violation of teleconferencing etiquette. <br /><br /> During the Teleconference <br /><br /> During a conference call, do not interrupt unless the speaker is done talking. There are no visual prompters in a teleconference, so this teleconferencing etiquette must be observed. <br /><br /> Teleconferencing etiquette demands that those taking part in the teleconference should avoid making distracting noises, especially if their speakerphones are not on mute mode, and no calls should be put on hold while a discussion is going on. <br /><br /> Before the meeting ends, the Chairman should ask if there are other businesses to be taken up. This is your cue, as facilitator, that the agenda was already taken up. That's the reason why you should be all ears during the conference. <br /><br /> End of Teleconference <br /><br /> Announce that the meeting is over, so people will not linger waiting for further notice. Extra billing is charged if people still linger on their speaker phones; hence, your announcement that the meeting is closed. As facilitator, you must always be the last person to hang up because this is also part of your teleconferencing etiquette. <bio>Mind your teleconferencing etiquette (<a href="http://www.audio-conferencing-guide.com/conference-call-etiquette.htm/" >http://www.audio-conferencing-guide.com/conference-call-etiquette.htm/</a>) during audio conferencing (<a href="http://www.audio-conferencing-guide.com/" >http://www.audio-conferencing-guide.com/</a>). <content:encoded><![CDATA[ It has been a rough day. Your boss yelled at you. Your girlfriend broke up with you. And your pet cat made a snack out of your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bet" rel="tag">bet</a> bird. So, you decided to wash away your sorrows with some brews at the local bar. Your new best friend is Johnny-not Johnny Walker(r), but the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bartender" rel="tag">bartender</a>. He has listened to your ranting and raving all night, given you advice, and never criticized you about anything. After your third beer, you pay your bill, hand a quarter to the bartender, spin around on your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/swivel+bar+stool" rel="tag">swivel bar stool</a>, and then head for your vehicle outside. It never occurred to you that you have just broken bar etiquette! <br /><br /><br /><br />Avoid Being Barred from Bars Many people never realize there is an unspoken bar etiquette that bar patrons should follow. You probably will never find these <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unspoken+rules" rel="tag">unspoken rules</a> in an Emily Post or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ann+landers+column" rel="tag">Ann Landers column</a>. And, it would be too nerdy to get formal training on bar etiquette. Bar etiquette is not like etiquette at a formal dinner or wedding ceremony. Instead, it is more informal and fluid. Whether or not you are seated in one of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/swivel+bar+stools" rel="tag">swivel bar stools</a> at your favorite bar, you must know and follow the protocol there. <br /><br /><br /><br />A Tip about Tips Bar etiquette begins with the bartender. The main function of a bar is drinking, and the bartender is the person who serves drinks. So it makes sense to befriend the bartender, or at least talk to him in a civil manner. Remember that a bartender's pay mainly comes from tips. So if the service is good, be extra generous when tipping. You can, thus, leave the bar with a clear conscience. <br /><br /><br /><br />The Eyes Have It In addition to the universal etiquette towards the bartender, each gender should follow distinct, generally accepted protocol in the bar. Men must realize that buying a woman a drink does not mean that they have purchased the woman's attention. Women usually use body language to tell a man that she wants him to approach her swivel bar stool. These messages include making and maintaining eye-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/contact" rel="tag">contact</a>, "preening," or playing with hair or checking makeup, and getting in a person's personal space. Make sure not to use any corny pickup lines, including "What's your sign?" and "Do you come here often?" Instead, always show a real interest in what the woman likes and who her friends are. Only ask for her number if you want it. And if you want to see her again, call within 24 to 48 hours. <br /><br /><br /><br />Nice No Bar etiquette also exists for women. If a man approaches your swivel bar stool and you are not interested in him, deal with the situation confidently but with class. Completely ignoring him is definitely a no-no. However, you do not want to spend the entire night talking to someone you are uninterested in. Polite ways of saying "I'm not interested" without actually saying so include encouraging the dude to relocate. You could ask "Where are you going next?" or "Where are your friends?" Also, you could stand up from your swivel bar stool and excuse yourself to find your friends or go buy another drink. <br /><br /> Etiquette is what keeps civilization civil. And though a bar is a little more informal than other locations where manners are important, they should still be used. So the next time you sit down on one of your favorite watering hole's swivel bar stools, remember to be Mr. or Ms. Manners. <bio>Swivel in style with <a href="http://www.simplybarstools.co.uk/wishbone-bar-stool-p-206.html" >http://www.simplybarstools.co.uk/wishbone-bar-stool-p-206.html</a> swivel bar stools. <content:encoded><![CDATA[There are many rules to the game of golf that are not enforced by penalties. These rules are that of etiquette and respect for other golfers. They are mainly in place for safety and fairness. The game is only part decision and skill. The key to having the best <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/golf+experience" rel="tag">golf experience</a> begins with the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/correct+etiquette" rel="tag">correct etiquette</a>. There is nothing that ruins a game of golf like being embarrassed by not knowing the rules. There are some simple rules to follow that will ensure you look professional the whole time you are on the course. <br /><br /> First off, you always <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/look+smart" rel="tag">look smart</a> by stretching before the first hole. Every athlete knows that he needs to warm up. The best way to start is to take advantage of the practice green that is usually located near the clubhouse. This green consists of about 6 to 8 holes that you can putt to. If you feel confident enough, you can use your 9 iron or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pitching+wedge" rel="tag">pitching wedge</a> at the practice green to warm up your chipping capability. <br /><br /> When teeing off, it is always best to have the most accomplished player tee off first. This will set the pace for the game so that everyone else can move up the course towards the green. If partners that are sharing a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cart" rel="tag">cart</a> hit to opposite sides of the fairway, they can either change partners to adapt to their hitting styles or drop their partner off at their ball and drive to their ball. This saves time so that parties behind don't have to wait longer. It is also appropriate to take a few clubs with you anytime that you are dropped off. This allows for multiple hits in case you do not get back to the cart. The furthest person from the ball should always be the one to hit and any cart should not move ahead of this player's ball. In case that your ball should land in heavy <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/grass" rel="tag">grass</a>, take a quick scan to find your ball. The limit to find a ball is 5 minutes and should only be exercised if you let a waiting party play through. Any <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/divots" rel="tag">divots</a> that are made should be replaced by the missing grass and or some sand from the bucket on the cart. <br /><br /> When reaching the green, the pin should remain until all people have also gotten on the green. The furthest from the hole putts until he is not the furthest, and any ball that is potentially in the putter's path should be replaced with a marker. It is also considered rude to walk in the path of another golfer's putt because it may alter the path of the putt. You should also be aware of your shadow while another golfer is putting. Make sure that you shadow does not fall in the path of a putt because it is distracting. <br /><br /> Following these simple rules is an easy way to make certain that you do not look foolish on the golf course. Golf is a common form of business meeting that can be disastrous if you do not follow the common rules. Skill is not as important as etiquette in a sport like golf. Practice manners just as you would skill and you will exude the presence of a true professional. <bio>Find more great information about golf at <a href="http://www.get-golf-clubs.info/">http://www.get-golf-clubs.info/.</a>. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ It's gained a reputation of being a game for the those without class and manners, but the truth is bowling is a an ancient sport that carries with it quite a few rules about proper behavior. These rules are taken very seriously by those who frequent the alleys, so it's a very good idea for beginners to learn a bit about the sport and its expected <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bowling+lane" rel="tag">bowling lane</a> etiquette. <br /><br /> Bowling itself dates back thousands of years into the history of man. It is believed that bowling pre-dates written history. As the years marched forward, so did the game and along with it the rules of the road. From ancient man and the courts of English kings to local alleys in cities all over the world, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bowling+alley" rel="tag">bowling alley</a> etiquette has evolved into what players of today expect. <br /><br /> Learning how to behave on the lanes is as much an important part of the game as figuring out how to score correctly. There are some major dos and don'ts when it comes to bowling lane etiquette. They include: <br /><br /> Do's * Get the proper gear. It is considered a major <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/breach" rel="tag">breach</a> of bowling lane etiquette to wear <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/street+shoes" rel="tag">street shoes</a> on the lanes. Make sure to have on the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/proper+shoes" rel="tag">proper shoes</a>. Get rentals if you don't have your own. Street shoes can damage the lanes and disrupt the oil pattern on them (not to mention the fact many are not designed to handle the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/slick+surface" rel="tag">slick surface</a>). <br /><br /> * Observe right of way. This is perhaps the number one rule of bowling lane etiquette. The general rule of play is to allow the bowler to the right of your lane to go first if you both arrive at the same time. This helps ensure that concentration isn't interrupted by two people trying to bowl simultaneously. <br /><br /> * Use common courtesy. Bowling is a game that many people take very seriously. Keep common courtesy and politeness in the front of your mind. <br /><br /> Don'ts * Interrupt <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bowlers" rel="tag">bowlers</a>. It is considered a serious breach of bowling lane etiquette to talk to bowlers when they are trying to make a shot. Let the person who has the lane concentrate. <br /><br /> * Heckle. While it might be fun to pick on a friend who has bowled a bad frame, it is considered very rude to do so, especially in league play. Remember common courtesy and this bowling lane rule will make perfect sense. <br /><br /> * Cheat. This is a serious breach of bowling lane etiquette and something that just shouldn't be done. Keep the game clean and fun and let the pins and the score fall where they may. While it is nearly impossible to cheat with computerized scoring, some manual set ups still exist. <br /><br /> * Talk too loud or yell. Rowdy groups on the lanes can cause problems for everyone in the vicinity. Have fun, but try to keep the ruckus to a minimum. <br /><br /> Bowling is an ancient sport that has evolved through the years. From ancient man and stone objects to modern man and computerized scoring, the game might have changed a bit, but the basic rules of the road remain. The game is meant to be fun and it does carry with it a need for good sporting conduct. <bio>Get all the latest in bowling know how from the one and only true source at <a href="http://www.bowlingquestions.com" >http://www.bowlingquestions.com</a><br /><br />Be sure to check our our bowling lane page. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Have you ever wondered if what you know about etiquette for online <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/business+communication" rel="tag">business communication</a> is accurate? Consider the following paragraphs and compare what you know to the latest info on etiquette for online business communication. <br /><br /> Etiquette for online business is virtually the same it is for offline business: <br /><br /> * always be polite * show respect * listen/read intently * go out of your way to satisfy any and all customers' needs * never fabricate information to mislead or suit one's own business interests * be willing to negotiate <br /><br /> These are no-brainers although, unfortunately many of those involved in business (both those who run businesses and the general public) do not always follow them. This is either because they do not know, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/misinterpret" rel="tag">misinterpret</a> or simple do not care. In the end however, despite desperation or personal gain, using appropriate behavior will always ensure better service and reception. <br /><br /> If you don't have <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/accurate+details" rel="tag">accurate details</a> regarding etiquette for online business communication, then you might make a bad choice on the subject. Don't let that happen: keep reading. <br /><br /> Of the most important and critical forms of business etiquette is that of communication. How, when, where, for what reasons and the identity of those with whom one interacts all play a significant part in which practices one uses through communication. <br /><br /> Of course, one should always be polite. This rule is universal and absolute (probably one of the few `absolutes' there is in the business or any other type of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/social+interaction" rel="tag">social interaction</a>). Being polite means that you care about servicing, not to mention looking professional, to the other person involved in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/transaction" rel="tag">transaction</a>. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/politeness" rel="tag">Politeness</a> is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/true+sign" rel="tag">true sign</a> of a civilized mind. This makes others feel comfortable and even draws their interest into the venture and maintains it throughout the duration of the said transaction. It also reflects respect for that other person. Without a doubt, politeness and respect are indeed most important and non-disputable. These are both virtual laws to be obeyed by everyone at all times! <br /><br /> Another aspect of good etiquette involved in online communication is promptness. Constant and forthright recognition and response shows a respect for the other person's time .Yes, busy schedules sometimes make it difficult to get back to others right away. This is why proper pacing is essential in public relations of all kinds, whether involving shoppers, potential clients who would provide sponsorship, colleagues, executive personnel or those in the legal field. All of these deserve timely responses. A term of three business days is the acceptable amount of time in which to reply to anyone. <br /><br /> One exception is the no-reply. A good example would be in the context of when one applies for a job. As much as many people dislike it, employers quite frequently do not respond when they are not interested in hiring an applicant. Job seekers, however, are encouraged to send out follow ups within two weeks to thirty days of the submission of application to show ongoing interest. If, however, an applicant still doesn't receive a respond from an employer, s/he should not follow up further and move on. <br /><br /> In the end, communication etiquette is critical for everyone to know and practice. It could mean the difference between failure and success. <br /><br /> Now might be a good time to write down the main points covered above. The act of putting it down on paper will help you remember what's important about etiquette for online business communication. <br /><br /> Copyright =A9 Le Tuan Anh <a href="http://www.YourTurnkeyProfits.com" >http://www.YourTurnkeyProfits.com</a> <bio>To find the best home based business ideas and opportunities so you can work at home visit: <a href="http://www.YourTurnkeyProfits.com" >http://www.YourTurnkeyProfits.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[It only make sense that an article of clothing that clings to the body and leaves little the imagination would have an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/etiquette" rel="tag">etiquette</a> with it. Knowing when it is and is not okay to wear a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/leotard" rel="tag">leotard</a> can mean a lot when it comes to your social standing and self-worth. Wear it at the wrong time and you can be <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ostracized" rel="tag">ostracized</a>, but wear it at the right time and you will be hailed as a fashion guru. So how do you know when it is okay to wear a leotard? There are some simple rules you can follow. <br /><br /> First in leotard etiquette is that you can wear a leotard if you are appearing on stage. If you are dancing, in a ballet, part of an opera, or doing performance art, you can wear a leotard and you will be fine. If you are a rock star, you can wear a leotard in only a couple of situations: if you are a woman or if you are an 80's hair band lead man (see Poison, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/twisted+sister" rel="tag">Twisted Sister</a>, or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/abba" rel="tag">Abba</a>). A basic rule of thumb, though, is that if you are on stage performing, you can get away with a leotard. <br /><br /> Secondly, when it comes to leotard etiquette, keep in mind that a leotard is never okay if you are severely overweight or obese. When little is left to the imagination, you can end up painting a picture nobody wants. If you are a man, this goes double as you are put on display at a level that is beyond description. In fact, when the leotard actually debuted in the 19th century on a French trapeze artist, it is said that many came to see the outfit and what it displayed more than the act itself. <br /><br /> Thirdly, leotards are okay if you are a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/super+hero" rel="tag">super hero</a> or playing one for Halloween. Superman, Batman, and many other comic book superheroes made the leotard okay. Its sleek tight fit make for a great outfit when fighting crime. No extra fabric to get snagged and nothing to resist wind as you fly or run at the speed of light. If you are going the super hero route, however; you must make sure you wear proper boots and cape to complete the ensemble. Also, superhero leotards should always be worn with bikini briefs over the top. Heroes are modest. <br /><br /> When it comes to leotard etiquette, you have to ask yourself if you should be wearing one. As a piece of clothing that stands out and leaves little to the imagination, you should think long and hard about what you are putting on if the option of a leotard comes up. If you are performing dance, performance art, or hair band music then you are probably okay. Also, if you are a super hero or just trying to play one for a costume party or Halloween, again, you should be okay wearing a leotard. If, though, you are more than a little overweight or not confidence in what you are displaying, a leotard is not okay. A good rule of thumb for leotard etiquette is when in doubt, wear something else or something over it. <bio>Jack Peterson has an interest in Sports related topics. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hiking is an outdoor sport that requires no equipment. It's one of the least expensive sports you can engage in. It's basically walking, conducted in a natural setting. Some hiking is goal-oriented, with a specific distance or destination in mind, while other hikes take the form of rambling, with no particular goal other than exercise and enjoyment. <br /><br /> Hiking can be a social experience. You can join hiking groups and clubs to meet people with similar interests. Many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/singles+organizations" rel="tag">singles organizations</a>, in fact, run hikes as a form of low-stress get-together. Other people consider hiking to be a peaceful and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solitary+activity" rel="tag">solitary activity</a>. Keep in mind these different approaches to hiking when you are on the trail. <br /><br /> Observe hiking etiquette whenever you are on a hike. Many hikers prefer peace and quiet, so if you are in a group, avoid shouting your conversations. Many hikers also enjoy seeing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wild+animals" rel="tag">wild animals</a>, and loud conversation and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/loud+music" rel="tag">loud music</a> are sure ways to scare animals away. Remember that you are in a natural setting and behave accordingly. <br /><br /> Hiking etiquette requires that a group stick to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pace" rel="tag">pace</a> of the slowest hiker so that no one is left behind. The easiest way to do this is to put slow hikers up front. If you find the pace of your group too slow, just choose a different group to hike with the next time. <br /><br /> If you cause a low-hanging branch to brush back, it is proper hiking etiquette to hold the branch for the next person so that it will not snap into their faces. However, it is also <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/proper+etiquette" rel="tag">proper etiquette</a> to maintain enough distance between yourself and the person in front of you so that they will not have to worry about hurting you with branches. <br /><br /> Right-of-way on hikes is different than the rules of the road for walking and driving. People heading uphill have the right of way on a narrow trail over people going downhill. Smaller groups of hikers have the right of way over larger groups. <bio><a href="http://www.hikingwalkingtrekking.com" >http://www.hikingwalkingtrekking.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ A good etiquette is always a good judgment of a person with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/great+personality" rel="tag">great personality</a>. This is as good as saying to any type of person doing any sort of job or hobby with great <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/honesty" rel="tag">honesty</a> and passion. I bet anyone who has good experiences with people who easily understands and knows how to give way will agree. <br /><br /> As for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fly+fishing" rel="tag">fly fishing</a>, fishers or anglers would also love a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/good+time" rel="tag">good time</a> while in the water. A good etiquette could come in handy as well. If you're fishing, you certainly wouldn't want to be disturbed which is also what many of the anglers believe which they deserves. <br /><br /> It's important to pay attention to the people around you and yourself, whether you are behaving well. <br /><br /> Before you enter the water or walk at the bank near it and if there is already someone there before you came, be extra polite. Make sure that you don't disturb the water where this person is trying to fish. Never intrude the area where he is someone else is fishing because it is just plain rude if you do. If you want to enter the same area, do ask for permission first. If can be avoided, go find a different spot. <br /><br /> When you are in the water, make sure that you maintain the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/peace+and+tranquility" rel="tag">peace and tranquility</a> of it. If possible, leave anything which can disturb you and other angler's fishing moment. <br /><br /> As a general rule in fishing, always give room or space for the person who needs to land the fish. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Business meetings are held for a variety of reasons, but one common characteristic is the sharing of information with others. As in dining, there are rules of etiquette that go along with meetings. I cannot believe the number of times I have been to meetings and some individuals in the room exhibit unprofessional <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/business+etiquette" rel="tag">business etiquette</a>. <br /><br /> I recently was leading a meeting of business owners and managers who meet together to generate ideas and resources for growing their businesses. One person's <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cell+phone" rel="tag">cell phone</a> rang in the middle of a presentation and instead of silencing it, they answered the phone. Not only did they answer it, they carried on a conversation for a brief time. I was <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/appalled" rel="tag">appalled</a> at the lack of courtesy. <br /><br /> I think it would probably be true to say that most people in business are aware of etiquette rules for meetings but I thought I would share my top seven: <br /><br /> ~~Do not put your Blackberry, Treo, or other <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/email" rel="tag">email</a> organizer on the table. What does this do? Every time an email is received it causes a vibration that is echoed through the table for the whole room to hear and causes as much a distraction as if the phone had rang. Turn it off. <br /><br /> ~~Do not arrive late, make excuses to everyone while the presenter is speaking, and then go in search of coffee. If you arrive late, step in quickly and quietly while taking your seat. The less <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/interruption" rel="tag">interruption</a> the better. <br /><br /> ~~Do not leave your cell phone turned on. This goes along with #1. We all know what an interruption this causes. <br /><br /> ~~Do not talk on your phone during the meeting. Just in case you forgot to turn it off, do not <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/answer+the+phone" rel="tag">answer the phone</a> in the middle of a meeting. <br /><br /> ~~Do not carry on a conversation while someone else is talking. I cannot believe the number of times I have witnessed someone trying to carry on a conversation with another in the middle of a presentation. <br /><br /> ~~Do not come to the meeting unprepared. Prepared means in the way of carrying a pen, pencil, paper, notepad; whatever it takes for you to be ready if information is shared. <br /><br /> ~~Do not make your presence known by making noises. Noises being pen or pencil tapping, paper shuffling, coughing continuously. If necessary, leave the room. <br /><br /> If you are a manager and have people who frequently display a lack of business etiquette, consider offering a mini-seminar to your department. Not only will it reinforce positive behavior but it will get your message across without you verbalizing it. <br /><br /> For those individuals hoping to aspire to a certain level in business, learn and practice good business etiquette. If portrayed correctly it will help to launch your position in business and you will always be a welcome presence with your peers. <bio>Carole DeJarnatt is the President of Alliance Advisors, Inc., a business advisory and coaching service for development and implementation of strategies for greater success in the future. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Golf has long been known as a gentleman's sport. This sport even has its very own rules of etiquette. Despite the common assumption that these rules of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/golf+etiquette" rel="tag">golf etiquette</a> are all about maintaining the gentlemanly state of the game for the most part, they each have practical purposes. The general reasons behind the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rules+of+golf" rel="tag">rules of golf</a> etiquette are 1) to insure the safety of golfers on the course 2) To keep the flow of the game going or 3) to assist in the maintenance of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/golf+course" rel="tag">golf course</a>. <br /><br /> Let's break these down for a few specific rules of golf etiquette: <br /><br /> 1) Safety of Other Golfers: <br /><br /> a. Don't swing your club until the area around you has been cleared of people. You do not want to risk hitting a fellow golfer. <br /><br /> b. Do not hit your ball until the group playing in front of you is completely outside your range. <br /><br /> c. If you find that your ball is heading in the direction of another player or group of players, be sure to yell "Fore!" to signal that they should be watchful of your incoming <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/golf+ball" rel="tag">golf ball</a>. <br /><br /> d. Never throw your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/golf+clubs" rel="tag">golf clubs</a>. Besides being unseemly, you could injure others in the process. <br /><br /> 2) Flow of the Game: <br /><br /> a. You want to keep the game moving by being ready to take your shot when it's your turn. By being ready at the ball you save time walking to and from and setting up your shot. <br /><br /> b. The 'away' player (the player whose ball is farthest from the green) always hits first. This saves time debating about whose turn it is and allows everyone to go ahead and get set up for his or her next shot. <br /><br /> c. If you are searching for a lost golf ball, wave ahead the next group. <br /><br /> d. Leave the green immediately after you've finished putting so the group behind you can continue their game. <br /><br /> 3) Maintenance of the Golf Course: <br /><br /> a. You want to be certain to follow the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/golf+cart" rel="tag">golf cart</a> path and stay off the greens with your cart as much as possible. Carts can cause damage to the course that will be costly to repair and make the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/game+play" rel="tag">game play</a> for those behind you much more challenging. <br /><br /> b. Never drive a golf cart onto the green. The greens are probably the most delicate and often abused part of the golf course it is not designed to handle the weight or the abuse that golf carts can place on them. <br /><br /> c. Repair all divots and ball marks on the green. This is a no brainer, golf balls falling at high speeds are damaging to the delicate greens, you want to leave your greens in good shape for those behind you and hope those ahead of you did the same for you. <br /><br /> d. Always rake sand traps to erase footprints and ball marks. <br /><br /> While these rules aren't all inclusive, they are general guidelines that will get you off to a good start on the golf course. Cheers! <bio>Edward Charkow is the administrator for Golf Swing Analyze. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Your contemporary wedding invitation is the first impression your big day will make on the members of your guest list. Whether you've decided to go for understated floral elegance, a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/humorous+depiction" rel="tag">humorous depiction</a> of the bride and groom, or a bright and bold <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/card+stock" rel="tag">card stock</a>, your wedding invitation is the one thing that almost everyone will remember as they prepare to share in this <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/momentous+event" rel="tag">momentous event</a>. However, no matter how contemporary your invitations are or how modern your wedding will be, one thing remains certain: traditional <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+invitation+etiquette" rel="tag">wedding invitation etiquette</a> is a must.<br><br>Although some invitation etiquette is based only on tradition, many of the following guidelines are also used because they are simply the polite way of doing things. It is always best to use your discretion to determine what is best for you; however, it is equally important to remember that weddings are typically all about creating an overall impression of propriety. Even if you're going down the contemporary and modern road, tradition can go a long way in putting your guests at ease and making them feel like an important part of your wedding.<br><br>What to Put in the Invitation<br><br>Most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/brides+and+grooms" rel="tag">brides and grooms</a> should use their entire names on the invitation, including the first, middle, and last name. Nicknames and initials should be avoided wherever possible.<br><br>Spell out all the words on your contemporary wedding invitation, including times, dates, addresses, and even years. The exception to this is if you are working with names that are followed by numbers (such as "Harold the third"). In this instance, use <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/roman+numerals" rel="tag">Roman numerals</a>.<br><br>When applicable, use insertions (the thin, tissue-like paper that goes inside the pages of an invitation). Although these aren't really needed to blot ink, as they were historically called upon to do, most people enjoy the elegance of the gesture.<br><br>Refrain from indicating where you are registered. If someone really wants to know, they can always ask someone in the wedding party.<br><br>How to Address and Send Envelopes<br><br>Make sure you include (and Guest) when inviting a single adult to your wedding. Few people enjoy attending such a romantic event alone, so it will be appreciated if you encourage your guests to bring a friend or date.<br><br>If you are inviting couples with different last names (for example, Mr. John Jones and Mrs. Jane Smith), the male should be listed first. For same gender pairs, go in alphabetical order by last name.<br><br>If more than one non-familial adult live in the same house (for example, roommates who share an apartment but are in no way related or dating), it's proper to send each person their own invitation.<br><br>Double check all addresses before you put them on paper. Blotted or crossed out errors are the quickest way to make your contemporary wedding invitations look tacky.<br><br>Self-address and stamp the envelopes used for responses. Not only is it polite, but you'll probably get more people who RSVP.<br><br>Send your contemporary wedding invitations out six to eight weeks in advance. In the busy seasons, this will help people to plan accordingly -- especially if they are traveling from another location.<br><br>There is No Wrong Way to Do Things<br><br>The level to which you adhere to traditional wedding invitation etiquette depends primarily on how formal you want your event to be. For example, a ceremony composed of a small gathering of intimate friends and family members on the beach certainly doesn't require the same kind of formal etiquette that a 300-person catered affair would.<br><br>At the same time, a wedding is still a wedding, and most people are familiar with certain types of etiquette and formality. It is always best to err on the side of tradition, even when sending out your decidedly contemporary wedding invitations.<bio>Andy West is a writer for Kardella Kreations, which offers many unique styles of invitations including <a href="http://www.cardsandfavors.com/categories.php?cID=695">contemporary wedding invitations</a>.</bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[You walk into a sauna ready to enjoy yourself when you suddenly hear what sounds like something from a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/horror+movie" rel="tag">horror movie</a>. The loud breathing you hear over your shoulder has you frightened to turn around because you're afraid that what you will see is some unearthly creature with red <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/glowing+eyes" rel="tag">glowing eyes</a> and big teeth. But after a few seconds of hesitation and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mental+reasoning" rel="tag">mental reasoning</a> that there is no such thing as monsters, you turn around to find that it is your uncle Bob got to the sauna before you did. What is worse is that not only is he breathing like he just ran a marathon, but he isn't wearing a towel. And you just told yourself that there are no such things as monsters.<br><br>Uncle Bob is the perfect example as to what not to do in a sauna. It is true that the United States doesn't exactly have a set of sauna rules like in European saunas, but many times it is just common sense for the sake of yourself and for the sake of those around you. In other words, a sauna is an excellent place for you to become your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/own+worst+enemy" rel="tag">own worst enemy</a>. If you notice that everyone in the sauna leaves when you arrive, then you know there is an issue.<br><br>Sauna etiquette<br><br>If you find that everyone is running from you when you arrive at the sauna or you are hearing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/huffs" rel="tag">huffs</a> and puffs of aggravation while you're there, maybe it is time to evaluate your sauna etiquette. Below are 10 things you should do and shouldn't do to get you started:<br><br>- Do take a shower before going into the sauna. That way if you're already sweaty or you've been in a pool with heavy chlorine, there's no <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/strange+smell" rel="tag">strange smell</a>. Showering also minimizes <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/germs+and+bacteria" rel="tag">germs and bacteria</a>.<br><br>- Don't breathe loudly. Loud breathing is not a pleasant sound for those wishing to relax. Imagine someone breathing hard in your ear while you're trying to enjoy yourself.<br><br>- Do wear a towel. As with uncle Bob, many may find nothing wrong with being naked in a sauna. There are no rules that say not to, but a towel should be worn at all times for the sake of others. It is okay to not have shame, but others may not find it so appealing.<br><br>- Don't talk loud. Keep it to a low whisper if you must talk. Others in the sauna may not want to hear about the bad date you had last night.<br><br>- Do stay in for as long as you're comfortable. You don't want to have a "who can stay in the longest" contest. This could result in some really annoying noises and others being concerned with whether or not you're overdoing it. This can make the environment unpleasant for them.<br><br>- Don't use the sauna as a "hook up" place if you have a romantic interest in one of those in the sauna with you. This can make the sauna experience unpleasant for that person and those around you.<br><br>- Do read the rules posted outside of the sauna before going in. This is the fool-proof way of having a pleasant experience.<br><br>- Don't moan and groan even though the sauna is pleasant. This could be frightening to others.<br><br>- Do mind your own business and do not stare at others in the sauna. This could be quite uncomfortable.<br><br>- Don't burst out laughing if told something funny. This could scare others in the sauna.<br><br>Follow these ten etiquette tips and you will be able to enjoy the sauna experience to its fullest without compromising the relaxation of those around you. As for uncle Bob, he is a different story.<bio>Wholesale provider of saunas and <a href="http://www.saunafin.com/steambaths.htm">steambaths</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[We use writing every day in business. Does your writing make you look more professional or less professional? <br /><br /> There are some words that are commonly used interchangeably, when in fact they have different meanings. Here are a few of the words that are frequently used incorrectly. <br /><br /> You're and Your: <br /><br /> The word "you're" is a contraction for "you are". Correct: You're a good friend. (you are) <br /><br /> The word "your" is used to imply <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/possession" rel="tag">possession</a> or ownership. Correct: Is this yours? (possession) Correct: I like your new car. <br /><br /> Sale and Sell: <br /><br /> The word "sale" and "sell" are not interchangeable. Sell is a verb, used to show what the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/noun" rel="tag">noun</a> (person, place, or thing) in the sentence is doing. "I am going to sell this." <br /><br /> Sale is most commonly used as a noun, such as in the sentence "There is a big sale at the mall." <br /><br /> Correct use of both words: "I am going to sell this shirt at a garage sale." <br /><br /> Too and Two: The word "two" is the number 2. Correct: There are two flowers in that vase. <br /><br /> The word "too" usually means "also". Correct: I would like to swim, too. (I would like to swim, also.) <br /><br /> Prefixes Such As "Un", "In", and "Non": <br /><br /> Each word has only one correct prefix. <br /><br /> Correct: Unpleasant Incorrect: Impleasant, nonpleasant <br /><br /> Correct: <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/irreversible" rel="tag">Irreversible</a> Incorrect: Inreversible, nonreversible, unreversible <br /><br /> A <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lot" rel="tag">Lot</a> and Alot: <br /><br /> The words "a lot" are correct. "Alot" is incorrect and there is never an occasion in which it should be used. <br /><br /> Good and Well: <br /><br /> Good is an adjective. Adjectives are used to describe nouns. Correct: You are a good dog. <br /><br /> Well is an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/adverb" rel="tag">adverb</a>. An adverb is used to describe a verb. Correct: You are behaving well. <br /><br /> You wouldn't wear a dirty shirt to a business meeting, so don't let your writing make you look bad, either. <bio>Nicole Dean is the owner of <a href="http://www.LadyPens.com" >http://www.LadyPens.com</a> . <content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+invitation+wording" rel="tag">Wedding invitation wording</a> is something that many people struggle with when they get married. They don't know whose names should be included in the invitation, if the date should be written or used numerically, or if they should put reception information on the envelope. It can seem like there are a thousand <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/things+to+consider" rel="tag">things to consider</a>. Though wedding invitation might not seem that important, it's very important. It lets your guests know who is hosting the wedding, if children are invited and where they need to go. So, before you sit down and pound out your invitations, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/take+a+closer+look" rel="tag">take a closer look</a> at wedding invitation wording suggestions. <br /><br /> Laying a Foundation <br /><br /> The first thing you need to consider is the wedding host. The person hosting the wedding is the one who is paying for it. Frequently this is the bride's <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/parents" rel="tag">parents</a>. However, some couples pay for their own wedding. In some situations, both sides of the family each pay for half of the wedding. It's important to note who is paying for the wedding because technically, they are inviting the guests. Some people can be very sensitive about this, so make sure you ask. <br /><br /> If the bride's parents are paying for the wedding, you need to say something like, "Mr. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/john+doe" rel="tag">John Doe</a> and his wife Mrs. Ella Doe request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their daughter, Emma Doe to John Parks." If the couple is paying for the wedding themselves, they can directly invite their guests. <br /><br /> The next thing you need include is the date and the time. Traditionally, the date and time are spelled out. So, instead of saying the wedding is at 5:30 p.m., you would say, "at five thirty in the evening." Spelling out the time and date makes the invitation look more formal. <br /><br /> Usually the location is listed after the date and time. If the reception is being held at a different location than the ceremony, you can either include that after the date and time or you can include a smaller card that has <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/reception+details" rel="tag">reception details</a>. If you don't want children at the reception, you should make that known by writing "adults only reception to follow." <br /><br /> Don't Forget Your Manners <br /><br /> These days it seems that there's wedding etiquette for every aspect of the wedding, including the delivery of invitations. Even if you don't want to abide by old fashioned etiquette, these etiquette techniques might help you get your invitations out on time. <br /><br /> For starters, you need to put your invitations in the mail at least six to eight weeks before the wedding. This will give your guests plenty of time to respond. It will also give you time to re-send an invitation that got lost in the mail or sent to the wrong address. <br /><br /> Also, if most of your guests are going to have to travel to attend your wedding, send them a save the date six months before the wedding. This will give them plenty of time to make their reservations. Your wedding invitation wording won't matter if the invitation arrives too late for them to attend. <bio><a href="http://WhiteWeddingTips.com" >http://WhiteWeddingTips.com</a> is one of the premier wedding information sources online. One of those lucky people is Kimberly Roads, a member of the grammy-nominated country band Little Big Town. <br /><br /> After disaster... On November 28, 2006, she married her long-time friend, Stephen Schlapman after her first husband died from a sudden heart attack last year. He was only in his forties, so his death came as a shock to everyone but with Stephen's help not only was Kimberly able to get through her tragic loss but her band went on to have its best year ever. Their album The Road to Here just went gold and two of their singles had been in the Top 10. <br /><br /> The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/second+time" rel="tag">Second Time</a> around So how does a recently widowed country singer <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tie+the+knot" rel="tag">tie the knot</a> the second time around? Well, Kimberly and Stephen headed to a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/private+caribbean+island" rel="tag">private Caribbean island</a> with their friends, family, and the other members of Little Big Town to exchange their vows. In fact, the ceremony we so secret news of their marriage didn't even hit the press for another nine days. <br /><br /> That brings us to a topic that more and more couples are facing: what are the rules for a second wedding? While Kimberly and Stephen kept things small and private with a destination wedding, there's no rule that says <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/second+weddings" rel="tag">second weddings</a> have to be that way. But if you want to stay true to those traditional <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wedding+etiquette" rel="tag">wedding etiquette</a> ideas, then there are some definite guidelines. <br /><br /> Ok What do you do second time around? For example, brides who have been married before are not supposed to wear white to the wedding. Traditionally, the white dress represented the bride's virginity so the symbolism would be lost on a bride who had been married before. Of course, you might argue that a lot of brides going down the aisle don't deserve to wear white in that case. <br /><br /> Also, most etiquette books say second weddings should be small affairs. If you've already had a huge wedding, then there's no reason to do it all over again. While Kimberly and Stephen seem to reflect that tradition, other celebrity couples -- particularly Tom Cruise (who was married to Nicole Kidman for 11 years and Mimi Rogers for 3 years) and Katie Holmes -- go all out the second and subsequent times regardless of the etiquette rules. <br /><br /> Another big question is whether or not to invite your ex-spouse to attend the ceremony. The answer is it all depends on your relationship and on how your spouse-to-be feels about it. Some divorced couples do manage to stay friends afterward, particularly if there are children involved, and it's completely acceptable for them to receive an invitation. However, if the two of you had a rocky break-up and/or your new partner isn't too fond of your ex-, then you might be better off just giving him or her the head's up over the phone and skipping the invitation. <br /><br /> The bottom line is that whether you're on your first or second marriage the important thing is to choose a wedding ceremony that makes the two of you happy, regardless of what the rules of etiquette say. <bio>Chris Morton ran hotels and restaurants for 17 years - catering for 100's of weddings.
