There are many Competitor Intelligence Methods Jeff West and myself use when attempting to decide which vertical or markets we want to compete in. And before we do, we like to evaluate what we're up against. Here are a few select secret tips we practice almost every single day. Before we enter any vertical, we need to take a view at 2-3 successful Websites in that market and drill down and evaluate anything we can find on them.

Competitor Intelligence Tip #1 - Find Out How Large a Site Is

When we want to evaluate how many pages a website has, we type the following line in google. For observance purposes lets say we're checking out IM Review Kings. So I'd type the site:www dot imreviewkings dot com line into Google.

You'll end up viewing a result like this:

Results 1 - 10 of about 763 from www dot imreviewkings dot com. (0.13 seconds)

In this scenario it shows us as having 763 active pages listed in the SERP's, or Search Engine Results Pages.

Find Out What Google Page Rank a Site Is

Another Competitive Intelligence trick is to download the google PageRank Display Software. Google issues PR or PageRank, They issue Websites a Page Rank of anywhere from 0-9 depending on many factors, such as age, how many back links a website has, how related and on-topic your site content is, etc.. Essentially Page Rank is a measure of how important a webpage is to google.

A website with a PR3 is decent, a PR4 is pretty darn good and a PR5 is considerable. Our main objective is to get our top 6 Websites we own all a PR5 in about 3 years or so. It takes a myriad of work and requires a degree of specialized knowledge to do this, but it's doable. Another cool component regarding the Google PageRank Toolbar is you'll evaluate a small little black arrow that's pointing downward directly to the right of the image icon. If you click this, you'll evaluate a small drop-down menu. One of the options I like to practice is the Cached Snapshot of Page Icon which will let me realize if this page was cached, and if it was, it will tell me the last time this particular page was cached.

Once in a while I'll practice this component because I'll want to take one of my articles on my website and submit them to other article repositories for more back links. But I don't want to submit any articles I pay for until google discovers them on my webpage first. By using this component I don't have to try to guess when I should submit these articles because this component will report this to me.

Competitor Intelligence Tip #2 - Find Out How Many Back links a Site Has

Augment your Competitive Intelligence by making a visit to Market Leap to discover how many Back links any Site has and use a special tool called their Link Popularity Checker. It's much easier to build back links using Yahoo than it is google. Yahoo counts inner links pointing to each other as well as multiple inbound links from the same Website or IP Address. The google search engine will only give you credit for one link for every unique domain and Google is much pickier on how they determine these links for possible admission into their search results. Attempt typing in 5-10 sites you've been wondering about for a little while to get the gist of it.

Competitor Intelligence Tip #3 - Find Out How Much Traffic A Site Gets

All you have to do to figure out how much Website Traffic a Website receives each month is to go over and visit Compete Dot Com and enter a few other URL's and compare the results from each of these. You'll immediately discover the real deal and know more verbatim what you are up against.

Competitor Intelligence Tip #4 - View Alexa Traffic Rankings

Millions of folks download the Worthy Alexa Toolbar, and because of this, you can now simply realize where any Website ranks with reasonably good accuracy. They rank millions of Websites and assign each one of them any number, the lower the figure the higher ranked the website is on Alexa. This is also superior Competitive Intelligence.

Competitor Intelligence Tip #5 - Find Out How Many Years Old A Site Is

This is very easy to discover. There are a myriad of places, primarily Domain Registrars that offer this no-cost service but the one that we practice is located at Network Solutions. Look toward the bottom of the page in the Resources Section for a WHOIS Search link and click that. Simply type in the domain, and you'll be able to realize when the domain was first registered. That does have some bearing on Competitors because a good breakdown of Googles Quality score has to do with how many years a Website has been on the Internet.

Competitor Intelligence Tip #6 - Why Brian Garvin and Jeff West Use SEO Elite

The other tool we use to spy on our competitors is a software tool called SEO Elite by Brad Callen. To be honest, they offer 8 other features but we only use two on a consistent basis, which more than pays for the special tool. Luckily there aren't any on-going fees applicable with this software.

We use the Analyze Backlinks component as well as the Find Out Where Your Website is Ranked for a Particular Keyword component. All you do is enter the keyword and the URL and which Websites you want to discover, and finally choose the Search Engines you need it to search for, and SEO Elite will search the first 1,000 results in the SERP's and let you realize where you rank on that keyword. This is very serious Competitive Intelligence info that will allow us to rank on any keyword we need.

There are other software and tools out there to Analyze Competitors, but these are all we need and use on a daily routine, or every single day we're working.<bio>Make Internet Marketing Review Kings Brian K. Garvin and Jeff West teach you more with relation to Competitive Intelligence today. You can without exception visit our website as we have a myriad of aids to help you find what you need, with no commitment.</bio>

If you are in your 40's and 50's, there is great news when it comes to competitive term life insurance rates. Let's take a look at how your situation could affect your life insurance rates.

Use Competitive Term Life Insurance To Reassess Your Needs

Couples who think that they no longer need to look for competitive life insurance prices after their children reach 18 years of age, may want to check current market prices. Many term life insurance policies are purchased to protect the family financially while the children grow up. After a child reaches 18 or so, policies may not be updated.

Even if your financial situation shows you are close to paying off your mortgage and your children's education expenses, you may still benefit from looking for a competitive term life insurance policy. Most policies are better priced today than they were a decade ago, because people are living longer.

Remember that a competitive term life insurance quote will get you the best deal available on the market. Because, if you are still somewhat short of assets, term life insurance can provide ready funds in the event of the death of a partner.

How Do I Look For Competitive Term Life Insurance?

When you are trying to determine how much life insurance you need to purchase, determine how much income would be lost if a spouse were to die. With this number in mind, calculate your numbers to see how much capital you would need to replace that income through an investment.

Other conditions when shopping for competitive term life insurance are; the health of a parent, financial commitments that may have been made and the needs of any children still living at home.

You need to yearly reassess your financial goals. Before making any major financial decision, meet with your accountant or lawyer for advice. You need to bring everything up to date, including getting quotes for your family, of the most competitive term life insurance. <bio>Ivon T.
This question appeared on a blog recently, and of course it caught my interest as it was framed in terms of Emotional Intelligence.

I maintain the answer is quite simple: because no one ever taught them how. Now, let me say that I don't know that middle managers don't know how to lead. In fact I know many who DO know how to lead, and it is one of the most difficult jobs there is. But for those who don't, I've found that in the vast majority of cases, a person who is not exercising good Emotional Intelligence skills is not doing this because the skills were never taught. Emotional Intelligence skills are necessary for a good life - at work and at home, both =96 and who doesn't want that?

Why are they lacking? Because we didn't get taught them. The components of Emotional Intelligence can be learned, so the more important thing is - if you note a lack of them, in yourself, or others, why are you sitting there? Go learn them.

I got tired of asking the question and decided to do something about it. I coach EQ and it's a most delightful occupation because the person experiences immediate positive results. It's very reinforcing. This is the comment I get from most people I work with. They feel relieved. "This is the missing piece" comes up a lot.

After all, most of us want to get along, we just haven't been shown how that happens, in components broken down so we can understand them. Here's a good analogy. Let's say you're sitting there sticking a hot poker into your eye, for whatever reason. How do you stop doing that? Someone suggests that you put the hot poker into the fireplace instead of in your eye; or suggests that you not put anything into your eye. Our Emotional Intelligence habits (or lack thereof) are like that. You're sitting there sticking a hot poker in your eye because you always have, and you learned that from someone. Or you didn't learn what else you could be doing. Most behavior is learned, and it's very unfortunate when the behavior you learned is painful to you and others, and non-productive.

We want to get along, quit saying things in anger that cause harm, quit sabotaging ourselves, lead and follow well and know the difference, focus, help others, do good work, and get satisfaction out of life. We would like to understand our emotions and those of others and get out of the morass. It all goes together. Emotional Intelligence, once well-explained, is a system that's clear and comprehensible to nearly everyone, and the geniuses who came up with it are to be applauded. Daniel Goleman perhaps most of all because he wrote the best-seller and put Emotional Intelligence in the public eye (better than a hot poker, right?)

But there's a major problem here. You can't READ about it. You need to put it into practice, and that involves someone to lead the way. After all, as one of my favorite "EQ experts", Mr. Mafioso, says on AskMen.com, "Look college boy, there are certain lessons that all the books in the world couldn't teach you."

I began coaching Emotional Intelligence because I got tired of hearing someone say to someone else, "Either get along (etc.) or get out of here." I found that painful to listen to. It seemed to me common sense (that's EQ too - and not very common) that the person would be getting along if they knew how to, and at that point I didn't know how to translate that information into bite-sized pieces that could be learned either, so I studied it. It seemed to me about the most helpful thing you could do for someone.

If you were a middle-manager, wouldn't you be leading if someone could show you how? It would sure make your life easier and perhaps your paycheck fatter. Teaching you not with gobbledy-gook, not with jargon, but in clear English, a method that you can understand and put into practice?

I know I would.

That's why I studied Emotional Intelligence and learned how to teach it to others. And I train coaches, managers, HR personnel, doctors, etc. so THEY can pass it on.

It isn't exactly brain science? Well, yes it is, but brain science is not exactly incomprehensible in the hands of a good teacher. It de-mysitifes the things that cause the most confusion in life: emotions.

Instead of wondering why someone can't lead, or why they can't control their temper, or why they lack resilience, or why they're under-achieving, or self-sabotaging, send them to someone who can teach them. It will raise the Emotional Intelligence of, um, everyone in the room.

The reason we don't know it is simply this: We were never taught it.

Now isn't it nice that there's one problem for which there's a solution??

P. S. But not overnight, college boy. <bio>Susan Dunn, MA, EQ Coach, www.susandunn.cc, mailto:sdunn@susandunn.cc. Your success is my business. Individual coaching, all areas including EQ.
Some pet owners and dog trainers expect their dog's intelligence level to be exactly the same of humans, during training. This mistaken theory about dog psychology can be upsetting to the both the dog owner and the dog itself.

Dog trainers shouldn't measure canine intelligence against human principles. Each canine may have his own talent. If the occasion does not allow for your dog to display this form of talent, it doesn't mean he's stupid. For hundreds of years, behavior experts have been trying to develop a test that measures all aspects of human intelligence and have failed. So, how can canine experts profess to measure a dog's intelligence when we do not speak the same language?

Classifying a dog stupid can be as just as damaging as calling humans stupid. If a dog is called stupid, the owner normally stops trying to train the dog. The name 'stupid' becomes self-fulfilling because if the owner won't teach the dog. Then the dog really won't learn anything.

In contrast, labeling a dog intelligent can create unrealistic expectations and even disappointment if he doesn't respond as we expect them to. Maybe all these "stupid" dogs are just smart enough to make their masters think they are stupid just to avoid the effort of do as they are told! A very aggravated dog owner complained to his dog's trainer that she had spent weeks trying to train her dog to sit on command and he just didn't understand. As the owner was explaining her problem, the trainer was unconsciously playing with a piece of meat that he forgot to refrigerate after training another dog. So the dog noticed the meat and began pushing the trainer. From force of habit, he told the dog to sit. And the dog obeyed! This is a good example of learning theory proven centuries ago that a lack of response doesn't always mean that a dog is not capable of learning. This dog was actually learning the owner just couldn't find the right motivator to get him to react.

Perhaps dog intelligence can not be calculated, especially when the criteria for intelligence are measured on another species' yardstick. Regardless of breed, the majority of dogs are smart enough to understand obedience commands during. A dog trainer who uses motivating training methods and a good understanding of the principles behind canine learning can mold a dog's behavior into pleasing conduct.

Pet Improvements

There is help available to improve for pet improvement. Seek resources from local public libraries: videos, cassette recordings, books, magazine articles and more about dog training, for example. Also check out authority pet sites like those for country and local chapter Humane Society offices near you.

There are also many shows today on television about pets. Check out channels in your area for a pet channel, often available via cable networks. And search for show times for Caesar, the Dog Whisperer.

Head to online and local bookstores, too, for the latest pet books, magazines and other helpful resources.
An organization's ability to learn, and translate that learning into action rapidly, is the ultimate competitive advantage. =96 Jack Welch

Many people may believe that obtaining top rankings in Google is nearly impossible. The competition for page 1 is fierce and it seems daily there is yet one more marketing must have that you must learn and apply to achieve top positions.

This is partly true. There are general markets that are hotly competitive, such as real estate, health and beauty, weight loss or general medical supplies. Niche markets present an easier opportunity to predict and/or manage the outcome of specific search terms.

Far from being an exercise in futility, top listings drive traffic and can lead to tremendous success online. You may be surprised to learn your competition can help you get there faster. Do not overlook the value of competitive intelligence in Search Engine Marketing.

When performing competitive research, the goals are to discover:

=95 What methods and channels your competition is using, i.e. are they using social media such as video or social bookmarks?

=95 How entrenched a competitor is and how hard it is to unseat them;

=95 Level of SEO skills; and

=95 Link prospects, so you can trade links, host articles and do reviews.

Competitive research should be an integral part of your SEO strategy. While it is sometimes painful to review and compare yourself to your competitors, it will always result in you improving your business and strategies.

There are several things that you can do to uncover competitive information and here we'll cover:

1. Who is Top "Dugg"?

Social book marking sites can yield a wealth of information about your competitors and target market. What are the top stories in your niche area? This can help you to shape content that will draw your target audience. Check your competitors to see if they have any diggs and if so for what type of content. There are many social bookmarking sites such as Mixx, Reddit and StumbleUpon. Digg has a large content base which makes it a good site for assessment.

2. Determine link popularity.

Using tier 1 keywords, do a Google search. Pick the top three ranked Google sites. Take this information and check the link popularity using marketleap.com.

Take note of the number of incoming links. You want to review sites with the lowest number of incoming links and highest Google rankings. Do not limit your review to Google but check Yahoo and MSN results as well.

3. Perform keyword research.

Use the search term suggestion tool at inventory.overture.com, and look for keywords and their permutations with a good search volume. Continue looking at the tier 1-type terms until you spot an opportunity to build on. Use other tools like Google keyword tools (free), keyworddiscovery.com (paid). Use the keywords you select in this step by adding pages to your site, a common and 'must-do' SEO practice.

4. Find sites to target.

Go to Google and enter "allinanchor: tier 1 keyword" If your tier 1 keyword is weight loss you will type "allinanchor: weight loss." This will restrict the results depending on the number of links coming into a site based on that key word phrase. You are using this to determine sites from which you will target links. You can combine this with "allintitle:" as well - showing keywords used in tag of your pages(s).

5. Read their content.

Read and keep competitive marketing messages you receive in email or traditional mail. Review the messages, call to action statements, and special offers. What are they doing to engage customers and encourage them to buy? How does this compare to your marketing messages? Visit their website and compare it to your own. Is the site easy to navigate? Does the content encourage conversion? Do they emphasize call-to-action statements like "download a white paper," "sign up for this newsletter" or "buy this product now"? Are they using long tail keywords, such as "weight loss products for women in South Beach?" If they are using this method, you should consider employing it in your efforts.

Competitive research is an integral part of any marketing effort.

Competitive intelligence provides valuable information about your market, trends and your position. Include online and offline channels in your research to get a comprehensive view of your competition. Use tools like UrlTrends to track your progress and SpyFu to look at advertising costs, giving you an indicator of your competition's activity, spending and strategy.

The hard work is worth it as someone once famously remarked, "competition breeds excellence" and that excellence can result in a dramatic upside to your bottom line. <bio>Jon Rognerud is a recognized authority on the subject of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and has spent over 15 years developing online solutions at companies like Overture and Yahoo.
The computer has evolved from the great hulking beast that once took up three rooms to the now portable versions that can be taken anywhere. The abilities that the computers have are also highly advanced in comparison. The early machines did little more than help humans to solve complicated math problems and store large amounts of information. Today computers play movies and control complicated machinery and systems to help avoid human mistakes.

Advancing what a computer can accomplish is the main area of study in the industry. People all over the world know the day is coming when computers can think and react like a human does, which they fear will render the human race obsolete. Most researchers are not a subscriber to this theory because computers will always lack most of the basic human emotions and not reactionary as the homo-sapien species does. This does little to console the masses as Hollywood has forever taken us to the dark place where computers rule the Earth and decide that the humans are not worth saving. Most of the experts in the field seriously doubt that it will ever come to that place in time but there are some concerns that they voice about the concept none the less.

Artificial intelligence is the term that is commonly used for computers that can think. This is actually a true term when you think about it. A computer is a completely artificial machine, made up of parts developed for a specific purpose. If the machine is given any kind of intelligence it must come from man himself, because the computer lacks the capability to perform such a task on its own. With this in mind, the researchers for artificial intelligence are working on a way to make the computers of the future more human like in nature. This is done by way of intelligence chips that are built into the computer system which teaches the machine how to learn on its own through outside sources and not having to be prompted to do so by man.

There have been some developments in the field over the years but there are still many questions that need to be answered. For one thing, computers lack the function to act outside of the logic stage. Computers will act upon their programming from the most logical point of view and not take any other factors into consideration. This is why such things occur that make computers seem like they are not human at all.

An experiment by a large company to build a computer that would defeat grand master chess champions took place some years ago. The company believed that they had created the perfect chess playing machine and put it to the test. In the end the grand master would win simply because he was able to think outside of the box rather than based on the statistics that the computer was playing with. This showed the world that we are still light years away from actual thinking machines that will replace the human race. The computer needs to come full circle from its current state and earn the marks that it can think with emotion and not just logic. <bio>More from this author at: http://www.computers-mag.com </bio>

Yoga is a science. That is something to grasp. Yoga is a science, and not a vague, dreamy drifting or imagining. While it is true the west has been familiar with the practice of yoga for a relatively short time, yoga is not a new discipline , and it has been studied and practiced in many countries during the last century. Yoga is an applied science, a systematized collection of laws applied to bring about a definite end.

It takes up the laws of psychology, applicable to the unfolding of the whole consciousness of man on every plane, in every world, and applies those rationally in a particular case. This rational application of the laws of unfolding consciousness acts exactly on the same principles that you see applied around you every day in other departments of science. Yoga uses many of the techniques that are used in more modern and lately developed psychological or even medial physical exercise disciplines.

As one ages he learns that by looking at the world around you, how enormously the intelligence of man, co-operating with nature, may quicken "natural" processes, and the working of intelligence is as "natural" as anything else. The yoga way not only combines this feeling of "cosmos" but also works beneath the surface to strengthen the unity of man with the universe. We make this distinction, and practically it is a real one, between "rational" and "natural" growth, because human intelligence can guide the working of natural laws; and when we come to deal with Yoga, we are in the same department of applied science as, let us say, is the scientific farmer or gardener, when he applies the natural laws of selection to breeding. The farmer or gardener cannot transcend the laws of nature, nor can he work against them. He has no other laws of nature to work with save universal laws by which nature is evolving forms around us, and yet he does in a few years what nature takes, perhaps, hundreds of thousands of years to do.

This can b done by applying human intelligence to choose the laws that serve him and to neutralize the laws that have a negative effect on the goal of the farmer. The farmer brings the divine intelligence in man to utilize the divine powers in nature that are working for general rather than for particular ends.

Yoga is something that can make a real change in peoples lives, we have seen this many times, from the physical practice of yoga to the philosophical implications, through the knowledge of the science of yoga, all that is yoga combines into a bigger, complete discipline that is beneficial for humanity. For some calling yoga is a way to allow this to pass as a acceptable means of physical development, for others it seems like it contradicts the very spiritual nature of yoga, the different faces of yoga, as its different uses sometime creates the illusion of one single use. <bio>John Furnem is a dot com veteran, specializing in human resources and work psychology he has written articles about relief and stress management.
I'm sure you're hearing the term Emotional Intelligence. It's being talked about a lot these days. For most people there's an immediate "click". We recognize it as the missing piece!

It's like that cartoon of the girl saying, "Oh, I knew I forgot something. A career!" Well, in this case, we become aware that someone, somewhere along the line forgot to tell us how to be smart about our emotions. At least in words we could understand!

But then again are you or are you not "smart" about your emotions? You see we don't even know how to assess how we are with our emotions. It simply hasn't been talked about in ways that makes sense and would allow us to use the information we receive.

If someone says, "You're too reactive," what does that mean? In relation to what or to whom? And aren't they usually talking more about themselves? Usually they mean "You're more reactive than I am" or "You're more reactive than I'd like you to be." They may be the kind of person who could have a firecracker go off next to them and not "react," but what does that mean in relation to their ability to function and relate? Not much!

And then the next day you'll have a pounding headache, or have been up all night with the baby, and fail to respond immediately to a comment someone makes and they'll say, "Why don't you respond? You just sit there."

One standard for judging your emotional intelligence skills would certainly be how well things are going for you at work and at home, because our EQ is more important to our happiness, success and health than our IQ.

POSITIVE FEEDBACK LOOP

The people I've worked with in Emotional Intelligence take to it immediately. There are immediate applications to their life they try, and the results are positive, so there's an excellent and immediate feedback loop that keeps you motivated and improving.

One of the best things about it is that you learn the tools, and then the applications are all around you. No matter what situation you're in, or what circumstance, increasing your Emotional Intelligence skills will help. You'll become more aware of what's going on around you =96 the things you couldn't quite "grasp" before. You'll also become far more knowledgeable about what's going on with other people, and isn't that always the most difficult thing to figure out?

COMPETENCY EXAMPLE

Here is an example. One of the Emotional Intelligence competencies is emotional expression. It's important to understand that 90% or more of any person's emotional expression takes place nonverbally. That means =96 ta da =96 you need to increase your skills in being able to notice and INTERPRET nonverbal behavior. This means the expression on the person's face, how they sit, how they walk, their tone of voice, their silences, and other important "clues" as to how they're feeling.

Why is this important? They may be telling you how they think, but how they FEEL is what's going to influence what action they take, whether they buy the product, whether they hire you, or whether they marry you.

AT-WORK APPLICATION

If you are charged with motivating others, you must be able to communicate well, and you must be able to read their nonverbal communication. Motivation is a feelings thing, not a thinking thing. If you can connect with what's important to the person you're dealing with, or connect everyone to an idea or mission they can feel strongly about, you will have your motivation.

At the same time, you need to be able to read the level of the "buy in" from the other person. They may say they're going to do the project, call the person, raise the annual fund 100%, buy your product, or give you a promotion "some day," but, since 90% of most communication is nonverbal =85wouldn't it be better if you have studied Emotional Intelligence?

AT-HOME APPLICATION

Our work is important to us, but our home is where we live. If your relationships at home aren't going well, nothing at work will matter. And the sad thing is, most of the time if you aren't getting along at one place, you aren't at the other. Why? Because we don't leave "ourselves" behind when we leave for work in the morning. We are our emotions, and they go with us.

This is not to say the applications are the same =96 because an intimate relationship is different from a work relationship, but only in some areas. Increasing your intimacy and parenting skills is part of emotional intelligence. Couples who communicate better have better marriages, and one of the best things you can give your children is knowledge of Emotional Intelligence and good modeling of emotionally intelligent behavior.

MULTICULTURAL APPLICATION

Walk in any office today, or any family gathering, and you are going to have people from different cultures, yes? This means you can no longer predict how people are going to behave. In one culture, you show up on the hour. In another culture, you show up 15 minutes late. In still another, it's an hour late. These cultural differences affect our daily lives more all the time, and strong Emotional Intelligence skills are required in order to manage them.

BEING IN THE KNOW

As more people learn about Emotional Intelligence, it's going to be important that you stay in the loop. Get in early. It's the emotionally intelligent thing to do!

HOW TO LEARN EQ?

One of the most important things to understand about Emotional Intelligence is that it can't be learned ONLY be reading. There are Internet courses you can take, and books and ebooks you can read, but you need to work with someone such as a certified Emotional Intelligence coach who can guide the learning process.

It's difficult to change something you can't see clearly =96 and we don't see ourselves as others see us!

Yes, time usually brings improvements in the area of Emotional Intelligence, but you can greatly accelerate the learning curve, with great benefits to your life.

HOW TO BEGIN?

Taking an EQ assessment is a logical starting point - http://tinyurl.com/z94t . Don't be surprised to see that you're better at some competencies than others. The ones you are lower in can be raised, because Emotional Intelligence can be learned. <bio>Susan Dunn, MA, EQ Coach, http://www.susandunn.cc, mailto:sdunn@susandunn.cc.
The right to privacy is a serious issue for all online. No formal law exists within cyberspace, and Internet users can find recourse only through the applicable laws of their own government. It is your responsibility to ensure the privacy of your web site visitors. You have to create a transactional or interactive environment that protects the privacy of your customers.

Many people fail to become online consumers because they fear their personal information could be misused or compromised. Identity theft, credit card fraud, breach of personal information are among the more common consumer concerns. According to Marc Rotenberg, Executive Director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center in Washington, DC, "The absence of consumer privacy protection may in fact be the number one obstacle to the growth of e-commerce."

Privacy is one of the leading issues facing the future success of e-commerce. One of your most important tasks as an online business is to establish trusting relationships with your web site visitors. Be sure to prominently display a privacy policy on your site that details how customer information is collected, used, and protected.

Learn from the pros, if you are unsure about what your privacy statement should look like. There are many highly successful online businesses you can learn from. Don't copy their privacy statements, but use them as learning tools. If there is an industry leader in your field, study their web site. There is nothing wrong with a little bit of competitive intelligence.

As you study privacy policies look for common trends. Take notes, and make an outline. Ask questions as you are writing your outline. What does their privacy statement include? Where is the privacy statement located? Is it easy to find? Using the intelligence you have gathered during your research process, write your own privacy statement.

The body of your privacy policy should have several components such as, how common the collected user information is protected, the security measures you take to protect the information, if you share that information with a third party. Also include privacy information specific to your field. For example, if you're collecting customer e-mail addresses be specific about how you plan to use them.

Always include the company contact information in your privacy policy so that customers can contact you in case they have any questions. Make sure that a link to your privacy policy is clearly visible on your website. At the very least, you should have a link to the privacy policy from your homepage but it doesn't hurt to have a link to it from all web pages. <bio>George Meszaros with Webene http://www.webene.com </bio>

Widespread research suggests that people do not leave organizations; they leave their managers. The implication of this finding is that managers who are respected and seen as supportive of the people who work with them are indispensable to successful organizations. Without them, competent people may leave their current organization in search of better treatment. The resultant costs of recruitment, engagement and subsequent retention can be enormous. Less tangible are the indirect costs associated with the loss of corporate intelligence and the impact on morale.

I ask participants in management workshops to isolate the characteristics of individuals with whom they have worked who they deem to have been exceptional managers. Their answers seldom focus on the educational background or technical capabilities of those people. Instead they emphasize that exceptional managers are passionate, have vision, are caring, treat people supportively, make work fun, challenge people to be their best, provide lots of feedback, listen intently and encourage teamwork. Traditionally, these skills have been labelled, somewhat pejoratively, as the "soft skills". The insinuation is that they are "touchy feely", too mushy for the real world of work and, in some instances, even inappropriate in a "professional" environment. My experience contradicts this and supports the thoughts of Roger Enrico, former CEO and Chair of PepsiCo, who says that "the soft stuff is always harder than the hard stuff".

Successful organizations must invest in developing the skills that are critical for the managers of their people to function effectively. What are they? For many years we have taught managers that they need to provide clear direction, to communicate better, to vary their management style to fit individuals' level of development and to attempt to engage people in the pursuit of the organization's raison d'=EAtre. These skills have certainly helped managers to become more productive. But there is more=85

In the mid to late 1990s the topic of emotional intelligence gained prominence in management literature. Research at Harvard suggested that emotional intelligence was at least four times as critical as a predictor of success as either IQ or technical skills. Another study at the Centre for Creative Leadership indicated that for successful managers, emotional intelligence is nearly five times as important as their IQ or technical skills.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to effectively perceive, manage and use one's emotions and to effectively manage emotional connections with other people. While there are eleven components of emotional intelligence, I will only mention a few.

To maximize the contribution of our people and their talents, research into emotional intelligence says that we must support managers as they develop skills in a variety of areas. These include helping managers learn to: assess their strengths and weaknesses; manage their strong impulses; remain optimistic in spite of severe challenges; listen more effectively; become more adaptable to rapidly changing conditions; become more emotionally self-aware; and demonstrate empathy. Managers who refine these skills will be seen as more authentic by those they lead. The outcome will be more people who feel that they are respected and valued by their managers. Under these conditions, people are more likely to be fully engaged in their workplace and to contribute their maximum effort for their manager. They are also less likely to shop the market for other opportunities.

Undoubtedly, effective managers are indispensable to successful organizations.

"=85 the soft stuff is always harder than the hard stuff." "Emotional intelligence is nearly five times as important as IQ or technical skills." <bio>Peter has been associated with Canadian Management Centre since 1986. The results of his business training, consulting and coaching are relevant and practical. http://www.cmctraining.org/generalmanagement.asp </bio>

Before I begin I first want to provide you a quick definition of JV. JV means joint venture partner. So if you have been hearing that word being thrown around like a hot potato you can consider yourself informed!

When you have a product to sell online, there are many different tactics you can use to help get customers. One great way is through Joint Venturing. A Joint Venture (or again, simply a JV) is when you partner with a person to help sell your product(s). While it is a great idea, it can sometimes be hard to find JVs. So here are some great ideas on how to find them.

The way you go about trying to find JVs actually depends on how competitive your niche is. If you're in a niche that's saturated (such as the Internet Marketing niche) then you will have to go about things a little differently. However, if you are in another niche that's much less competitive then finding JVs shouldn't be too difficult.

For the less competitive niches, all you really have to do is ask people if they'd like to JV with you. However, you have to ask the right way. The correct approach to asking a JV can be the difference between a 10,000 dollar launch or a 10.00 launch.

So you can do a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/google+search" rel="tag">Google search on your niche. Then write down the sites that come-up. Next try to find out a name for each site so that you can address each email personally. Then email the person who runs the site.

Introduce yourself and then tell them something you like about their site. Explain why you found it interesting and that you are interested in learning more. Here is the MOST critical point in seeking a JV. Ask them if there is something you can do to help the person out. Whether it is with graphics, writing, whatever you can do provide it shows good faith. Finally, if you have done the other things properly you will be able to tell them a little bit about your product and ask them if they'd like to hear more about a Joint Venture with you.

That's how to get JVs in niches that are not too competitive. However, you need to take a slightly different approach on highly competitive niches.

In highly competitive niches you need to make yourself stand out from everyone else. There are hundreds of people who are looking for JVs in some of the most popular niches. So to stand out you want to approach potential JV partners and ask if you can do something for them. Whatever you might be good at, offer to help them with something that you are good at (creating a script, writing a blog, etc.).

Then once you do something for them, they'll feel like they should so something in return. This is called the theory of reciprocity. What they may decide is something in return just might be a JV with you. Or, you might just develop a long-term relationship with a few people that will pay dividends for you far into the future (beyond just one Joint Venture).

Gathering JV's can be a difficult process. It really depends on whether the niche is popular or not. For non-competitive niches all you really have to do is ask for people but for competitive niches you have to make sure you stand out to people who you want to JV with you. These partnerships are a critical component of being successful with your online business.<bio>Todd Lamb teaches people to make money online through strategy, connection and dedication.
After the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, it became clear that much more needed to be done to protect America's freedoms and interests -- both at home and abroad. The US Government, in response, created the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over five years ago and the Department is now the lead organization responsible for protecting the United States homeland.

The National Strategy for Homeland Security (2007), which guides, organizes, and unifies homeland security efforts, outlines four national goals:

• Prevent and disrupt terrorist attacks
• Protect American people, critical infrastructure and key resources
• Respond to and recover from incidents that do occur
• Continue to strengthen principles, systems, structures and institutions to ensure long-term success

Furthermore, the President states that "Homeland security is a concerted national effort to prevent terrorist attacks within the United States, reduce America's vulnerability to terrorism, and minimize the damage and recover from attacks that do occur." Accordingly, homeland security "cannot simply rely on defensive approaches and well-planned response and recovery measures." (White House, March 2008).

Proactive Counterterrorism Efforts Needed in Homeland Security

Many of the homeland security efforts right after 9/11 were centered on plans, procedures, and processes for emergency management personnel. While a necessary and worthwhile endeavor, not as much attention has been focused on prevention as opposed to "response and recovery measures".

One of the keys to prevention in the context of homeland security is knowledge of the threats and risks posed by terrorism. This means that in addition to "all-hazards" emergency response exercises and training, homeland security and counterterrorism professionals need to develop a deep understanding and subject matter expertise in how terrorists groups operate; their tactics, techniques, and procedures.

Proactive counterterrorism efforts include forestalling terrorist actions through enhanced detection and interdiction of terrorist cells. This level of intervention, at the prevention stage versus the recovery stage, requires comprehensive training for counterrorism operators and analysts about how to get into the minds, cultures, and habits of terrorists and their organizations. More attention should be paid how to both develop and execute strategies to disrupt terrorist activity before they are able to carry out their plans and inflict damage.

Homeland Security Counterterrorism Analysts Need Intelligence Training

Another component of homeland security is intelligence and the need for counterterrorism professionals to understand how to gather and analyze intelligence from a variety of sources about potential threats to the homeland. Homeland security intelligence analysts must develop expertise about how to conduct risk analysis, threat assessments, and how to apply analytic tradecraft in the homeland security domain (intelligence collection against non-state actors and terrorist groups as opposed to the traditional emphasis on the collection of state-based foreign intelligence).

Counterterrorism intelligence analysts involved in the homeland security mission are responsible for providing insights about the capabilities, motivations, and intentions of terrorist groups that may seek to harm US interests at home and abroad. Because terrorists are agile and difficult to monitor using traditional intelligence collection instruments, homeland security analysts must possess advanced critical thinking, problem solving, and other analytic skills -- including foreign language training -- to properly and adequately exploit and leverage open source intelligence (OSINT).<bio>Henley-Putnam University is a leading educational institution in the field of Strategic Security.
Fish has been known for over two hundred years as a "brain food". Why is this? Because brain health and intelligence requires the rich supply of omega 3 essential fatty acids that are found in fish.

DHA is one of the omega 3 essential fatty acids that contributes to the formation of synaptic connections in the brain, thereby aiding intelligence. The synaptic connections are what makes it possible to send messages around the body and brain. They must function properly for the brain to operate at optimal levels.

Fat comprises the primary portion of the brain and DHA is a large portion of that. In order for the brain to develop and function properly, DHA is essential. Breast milk has a higher concentration of DHA than infant formula or even cow's milk, so this is the most likely reason that it has been proven that breast-fed children are more highly intelligent than those who are fed formula.

Another essential fatty acid for intelligence is alpha linolenic acid, or ALA. The ability to cope with stress, learn, IQ, be calm and improve mood is promoted by ALA. DHA and EPA, another fatty acid can be made from ALA, so DHA supplements may not be needed if you are getting enough ALA. For more info see <a href="http://www.omegaflaxseedoil.com/benefits/flaxseedoil/raw_Flax_Seed_Recipes" >http://www.omegaflaxseedoil.com/benefits/flaxseedoil/raw_Flax_Seed_Recipes_= For_Your_Health.html on mental wellbeing.

A common learning problem in today's schools, attention deficit disorder, has been linked to the lack in the ordinary diet of omega 3 fatty acids. Intelligence, behavior and the ability to concentrate and learn are affected because children often do not get the right balance of both non-essential and essential fatty acids.

In his book "The Omega3 Connection", Andrew L Stoll MD says "The implications of omega-3 deficiency on the brain are profound and span the entire human life cycle. Beginning in pregnancy, premature birth and its potential neurologic complications may result from omega 3 deficiency. Babies who are bottle-fed or born from omega-3 deficient mothers will lack the omega-3 fatty acids necessary for optimal cognitive and visual development. Children deprived of omega 3s may have less ability to pay attention and control impulsive behavior and may be at a higher risk for depression. Teenagers and adults with omega 3 deficiency may be more prone to hostility or violence. In ageing, the loss of omega 3 fatty acids in the brain may result in a higher risk of stroke, memory problems, or dementia. Individuals of any age without adequate amounts of omega 3 fatty acids in the brain and body may also be at a higher risk for depression, bipolar disorder, and possibly other psychiatric disorders."

It is clearly seen that for children to have the right brain development and for proper brain function, the right balance of non-essential and essential fatty acids is required. DHA, ALA and other omega 3 fatty acids are very necessary for the brain to function at optimum levels. <bio>You can also find more info on http://www.omegaflaxseedoil.com/benefits/flaxseedoil/regular_Canadian_Flax_= Seed_And_Dakota_Golden_Flax_Seed.html on golden flax seed and http://www.omegaflaxseedoil.com/benefits/flaxseedoil/the_Nutritional_Value_= Of_Flax_Seed.html on magnesium phosphorus. </bio>

The only way to answer job interview questions is to predict and practice them on your own, even though you might get suggestion on how to answer from others. The main concern is not answering job interview questions, but the fact that you aware of things about yourself and your background.

You may gain some assistance from the answers that you receive from other on the commonly asked questions, but the best think to do is to be genuine. If you have confidence on you side when attending an interview, then you will be able to answer job interview questions with that confidence, and in turn create a lasting impact.

The attribute of confidence is the crucial factor for success rather than just knowing the questions. But regrettably that confidence is not possessed by everyone. I found this great business related website http://www.myemploymentresource.com. Thus that creates the need for motivational speakers. If you have any fears at all regarding you ability to answer job interview questions successfully, then the best thing to do is to visit a motivational speaker immediately. Some people, even though are very qualified, find it difficult to find a job because they don't believe in themselves.

You might be the best possible person for a particular job, due to the high intellect that you posses, but at the same time make it tougher for you to answer job interview questions. Since you might think of everything right to its finer details, it might act as a hindrance towards you giving the job interview answers that you future boss might want.

If like me you too are a big thinker, then the first thing that you need to do to answer job interview questions is to stop thinking so much. This means you will have to keep thing simple. Just think for a while that you have already got the job and your answering job interview questions is just a requirement, and then your confidence and intelligence will overwhelm them.

This way you will be confident of what you are answering and will not doubt the answers to job interview questions you are giving. Thus bringing out your intelligence and knowledge more clearly, because this all a game of right impressions. <bio>http://www.businessforhire.com http://www.ecommercetrain.com </bio>

A boxer dog is a very beautiful, intelligent and loyal pet. Many people are attracted towards boxer dogs due to their beauty, they like them due to their intelligence and prefer to have boxer dogs as a pet at home due to their loyal nature. Boxer dog training needs a lot of effort and attention as in comparison to other dogs. You may start a boxer dog training when it becomes 13 weeks old. It learns quickly in comparison to other dogs.

A boxer dog gets bored very soon. Therefore, do some arrangement where your boxer dog stays which may keep in engaged whole day. The best solution for this problem is that you should give toys to your boxer dog during boxer dog training. Your boxer dog will keep on playing the whole day with the toys. Give it toys of different types and colour so that if it does not want to play with a toy, it may start playing with another toy.

You must spend yourself some time with boxed dog daily. Do not waste the unique abilities of your box dog but encourage your boxer dog and help it how to improve its extra abilities during boxer dog training. If you spend some time with your boxer dog, your boxer dog will not feel alone itself and will not feel bore when you will teach it different things during boxer dog training. When you sit with your boxer dog, it comes to know that someone loves it and takes care of it and likes to spend his time with it. It will make it happy, and it will learn quickly all things which you will teach it during boxer dog training. You should give it special training about how to come to know about the hidden things.

You should always take care of food of the boxer dog during training. Your box dog should not eat any such food which may affect its health or may make it sick temporary. Try to give special foods of boxer dogs to them which are sold in the markets. You should give special food to your boxer dog for increasing its intelligence. Always prefer to give fresh food to a boxer dog. Wash the utensils of your boxer dog every time when you give it food and do not give stale food to your boxer dog.

Take your boxer dog for walk at least three times every day as when your boxer dog goes out of the house with you, it watches surroundings and can watch people in its surroundings. As a boxer dog is intelligent, therefore, can come to know about the wrong matter of its surroundings soon, and it results in successful boxer dog training. Your boxer dog has been learned what you wanted to teach it during boxer dog training when it comes to know about the wrong matter of its surrounding. Now, your boxer dog becomes completely ready for use. It can judge about the thieves due to its intelligence.<bio>Andy Ayres is a dog training specialist and helps dog owners solve problems with their pets.
Labrador training is not an easy task. However, it has many rewards for the dog owner if the training is successfully completed. Labrador dogs are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and also a loving dog. They make excellent companions for people of all ages. Besides trained as house pets, labrador dogs are commonly trained to be show dogs, or to be working dogs in a number of different industries because of their high intelligence and their high learning capacity for new tasks and tricks. Going through a few labrador training tips, the entire training process can be made quick and easy.

Basic Tool: The Leash And Collar

There are many different tools to help you employ an effective labrador training. Each of these tools makes the training of the dog much easier compared if you don't use any. The first training tool you should have in the first place is a dog leash and collar set. These tools help to control the dog during the training and help you to communicate your thoughts to the dog during each phase of the training session.

Now, let me remind you that the dog leash should never be used for negative reinforcement during labrador training. For example, repeatedly jerking on the leash and yanking the dog around. This can cause harm to the dog and teach the dog that you intend to hurt it. Instead, use the leash for gentle coaxing and careful maneuvering of the dog into the proper position. It also gives the dog a reminder to focus on the labrador training program and stop it from wandering away during the training.

Reward Your Labrador With Doggy Treats

To keep the dog interested in the training process, many professional trainers use doggy treats to motivate the dog during labrador training. Also, it provides the dog with a reward for accomplishing a task correctly. Everyday dog owners can also use doggy treats effectively as long as the treats are used properly during the training. The treats that are chosen for use during the labrador training should not be given to the dog at any other time of the day. Doing this, let the dog knows that the only way they will be getting the treat is by paying attention to the training and accomplishing the tasks.

There are many commercial doggy treats available for use in labrador training and the choice of which one to choose is different for any trainer. However, you can also use doggy treats made by yourself like bits of boiled chicken, small bits of ham, or small pieces of broken bacon. Basically, any item that tastes good to the dog, easy to carry and can be given to them on an infrequent basis, can be used as a doggy treat for labrador training.

Closing Words

Training your labrador will need your patience as well as efforts. You must understand that your labrador is an intelligence animal with emotion. Treat your dog as gentle as possible. Doing a harsh treatment won't help and only cause your dog to hardly trust you. Good relationship should the foundation of your labrador training program.<bio>Discover more about labrador retriever at labrador fans website</bio>

Information technology news and technical information pertaining to certification intelligence for exam training is the main purpose of this article. Many people do not know the difference between computer training and certification exam training. I would like to inform everyone what the differences are. Computer training is classroom education with scheduled courses or online training about the career field pertaining to information technology. Let me explain! You may want to become a Server Administrator. To begin with you will need some education somewhere in order to be knowledgeable about the subject and maybe acquire a 2 or 4-year degree or receive some online training with a qualified instructor. You may just want to take a few courses and receive a certificate in this field. This would be considered computer training.

Information technology certification intelligence on exam training is what you need in order to be fully prepared to pass your certification exam. After computer training you may have a degree or a certificate but you still do not have a certification that is recognized by Microsoft, CIW and CompTia or any other. If you have computer training that qualifies you to be a Server Administrator then you will want to get certified in Microsoft, CIW or CISCO. Certification exam training concentrates on preparing you to pass your certification exam. An IT Certification exam is unlike any other exam that you have had in college or school. There are two very important things to consider when preparing for a certification exam. They are the proper study technique and having relevant material that pertains to the actual exam that is up to date with the current market.

There are only a handful of places online that offer Certification exam training. The reason I wrote this article is to provide news and information about the best resources on certification exam training. There are many students of information technology that want this information because they are serious about passing their certification exam on the very first try. This article is not about selling but about helping those who are not informed about Certification exam training.

Another purpose of this article is education concerning information technology certification. There are many colleges and online training about information technology that will prepare you for a particular subject or field but there are but a few places where you can find information technology certification intelligence on exam training.

Say you want to become a PC Technician and you study at a college or receive online training so that you are knowledgeable about that field and receive a diploma or certificate in that area but you still are not certified until you take a certification exam. Even after graduation you will need to schedule an IT certification exam with prometric or pearsonvue in order to be certified in the field that you desire.

How many places do you know where you can get training on how to pass your information technology certification exam. Exam training is not the same as computer training. You will need knowledge of how to study for your certification exam and to know the proper study techniques because an IT exam is not the same as the exams in school. You will also need to know where to get updated material about your certification exam because if you are studying material that is outdated then you will not pass your certification exam. Certification exam training is important if you plan on passing your certification exam the first time so you can avoid 2nd and 3rd exam fees.

Some people may already be working on the job in the profession that they desire, such as a Server Administrator, Desktop Support Technician or a PC Repair Technician. They may have had prior training before employment but have never acquired a certification. They probably know their job and are very knowledgeable about their work and field but need a certification because their employer requires it. They do not need any computer training. They only need Certification exam training so they can pass their certification exam. I hope you get the picture now.
You may think that you're stuck with the current IQ that you have for good. However, there is a way that you can boost your IQ to a much higher level than you thought possible.

A French psychologist by the name of Alfred Binet first published the modern intelligence tests to evaluate if special students need help in school classes in 1905. Then a few years later in 1912, a German psychologist by the name of William Stern came up with the term "intelligence quotient" or I.Q. After him, there was a formula developed to identify the intelligence level of a person that is used up to this day.

The formula is as follows; 100 multiplied Mental Age divided by Chronological age. For example, if a 10 year old child scored as high as the average 13 year old, then the child would have an IQ of 130. (100 times 13 divided by 10)

The best way to boost your IQ and to land high IQ test scores is to buy study versions of the standardized tests. There are many kinds of IQ tests and they do come in many forms. Some of them use several sub portions, and are divided into different sections, such as verbal, math, spatial, etc. Others use a single item or type of question.

The typical IQ test will require you to solve a number of problems in a supervised setting. You may also be timed. The IQ test will include things from various domains, such as spatial visualization, perceptual speed, short-term memory, and verbal skills.

There are other IQ tests, that are not supervised and do not have a time limit. These are usually geared for measuring very high intelligence. When you are preparing to study for your IQ tests, determine which kind you are going to take. The most widely used IQ test is the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale or WAIS. There are about 14 subtests within this IQ test, which include object assembly, symbol search, picture arrangement, matrix reasoning, block design, digital symbol coding, picture completion, letter and number sequencing, vocabulary, and numerical reasoning.

So, you can search for study guides for the main IQ tests, such as the WAIS, Stanford-Binet, Miller-Analogies, Cattell Culture Fair II, and Raven's Progressive Matrices. You can go to Amazon.com or to Barnes and Noble to find study guides.

You can also buy brain teaser books and go over the exercises. Don't just do them once or twice, but practice them over and over, until they are imprinted on your brain. What starts to happen is that you will subconsciously pick up a pattern of these IQ tests, and you'll be able to easily solve almost any question or problem. The thing about standardized IQ tests is that that they all pretty much have the same questions over and and over again, except they are worded or arranged a little different. The main patterns and principles remain constant.

You can also test for the Graduate Record Exam or GRE. This test is accepted by major High IQ societies such as MENSA. I have found that the Graduate Record Exam has a lot of the same questions and structures in it that the standardized IQ tests have.

Getting a study copy of the GRE is pretty easy, and you could probably get an older copy at your local public library. Just do the exercises over and over again, so you can get used to the structures of the questions.

Then, after you have taken your IQ test and scored high, you can take the results and join different high IQ societies. This can help you in your personal life as well as your career. A lot of people will list the fact that they are members of certain high IQ societies on job resumes, and it can mean the difference between getting hired or rejected.

Boosting your IQ is nothing short than practicing IQ tests. The more you practice taking them, the easier they get, and pretty soon, you, too can have a genius IQ. <bio>Dr. Enigma Valdez, C.H., is an internet genius and visionary dedicated to helping people succeed.
Chances are pretty good that even if competitive sports were a part of your childhood, you aren't playing now. We are all familiar with the emphasis that America places on college and professional sports. Most of us, however, don't play competitive sports past the high school or, if we were lucky, the college years. We have fond memories of playing and we would have a blast if we participated in a friendly game with our friends or co-workers, but we don't. I'm here to tell you that we should.

Competitive sports get us moving. Face it; most of us really need to get moving. We may not be as fast as we once were. In fact, most of us are sure to have been slowed down a bit by age. Fortunately, the same applies to most of our friends and family as well. On top of that, our friends and family could all benefit by getting outside and playing a nice rousing game of the sport of our choosing. We'll all breath deeper, laugh harder, and, in the end, rest better after a bit of friendly competition.

Competitive sports also help us to stay in touch. We often get so wrapped up in the necessities and mundane tasks of daily life that we forget to socialize. Humans are social creatures and we are healthier when we get a chance to interact meaningfully with friends, family or friendly co-workers.

Though we may want to play, actually getting out and playing can be a challenge. We have to battle schedule conflicts for ourselves and our potential team mates and we always have so many other things on our endless "to do" lists. Getting set up with a local league in the sport of your choice may help you get out and play. Sometimes we need to make a commitment to ourselves and others in order to ensure that we will follow through with our plans to play.

Many cities offer competitive sports leagues through their parks systems. These offer locations for practices and games and game schedules. Though some just offer the basics like baseball, basketball and football, some cities also have soccer, volleyball, or even tennis. Leagues vary from competitive to casual and teams can even be set up as a family, friend or work group who wants to play together.

If you are more interested in a casual game setting, then getting a smaller group together regularly for a game of three on three basketball using the basketball hoops in your driveway or at the park. Or maybe a game of touch football might be the perfect thing for you. You get all of the benefits of revisiting your glory days with a group of friends without the long-term commitment to a team schedule.

Playing sports made you happy in your younger years. It might be just the thing now. There are so many benefits to getting moving and competitive sports are a great way to do it.<bio>An excellent resource to find out best hoop and hoop and goal.
In the last article, we studied about what qualities we should look for in our dating partner. We also discussed about attraction mainly physical and how it may wane after some days. In this article, we will discuss more about attraction.

We understand that we get attracted to each other for different reasons. It may be- physical attraction, attraction towards intellectual ability, attraction to the personality and so on. We know that if physical attraction is the main criteria of our choice, we should not go ahead. That attraction may wane after some months. Let us now talk about intellectual attraction.

Intellectual ability of a high quality attracts many of us. We are amazed by the quick wit, knowledge and intelligence of a person. We think that such a person would make a great partner in life. What is better than constant intellectual stimulation? But that may not be true at all. In fact the relationship may fail badly if the gap between intellectual ability of both partners is high.

The person who is intellectually superior to you may tolerate and rather enjoy talking to you for some months. Such persons even adopt the role of a teacher and guide. But after some time they get bored. They look for somebody who matches them in intelligence. At the same time, being with a intellectual may cause inferiority complex in you after some time. The gap also makes communication very difficult in some situations. Are you looking for somebody who will dominate you with his/her intellectual capability? Are you looking for somebody who may laugh at you at times? Are you looking at somebody who may make fun of you? I do not think that any of us wants that. In the next article we will look at intellectual attraction in more detail and also talk about attraction to personality. <bio>The author CD Mohatta writes for <a href="http://www.wishafriend.com" >http://www.wishafriend.com where you can get myspace comments, graphics, layouts, codes, backgrounds, etc. The author writes quizzes for <a href="http://www.funquizcards.com" >http://www.funquizcards.com and messages for friendster comments and layouts at http://www.pingafriend.com </bio>
