Have you ever wondered whatever happened to your high school sweetheart? How about your best friend who you lost contact with overtime? If you have there is a good chance that you have tried to contact them. Unfortunately, many individuals get married or move away. This may make it difficult to contact those that you used to know. That is unless you join one of the most popular online social networking websites. That website is known as Classmates http://www.philosophys.info

Although classmates is considered a social networking website, it is, in a way, unique from most of the others. This is because classmates focuses on connections that were made in school, whether it be elementary school, high school, or college. Although it is encouraged that you contact those that you know from school, you are able to contact just about anyone on the website. That is one of the many features of Classmates that makes the social networking site worth joining.

The only problem that many internet users have with Classmates is the fact that it is often requires a paid membership. There is a free membership plan that is available, but you are limited with what you can do on the site. Despite the fact that you have to become a paid member to enjoy what Classmates has to offer, it is well worth it. In addition to being well worth it, the membership fee is easy to afford. Currently, there are three different levels of membership that you can sign up for, the highest being only five dollars a month.

If you are interested in seeing what Classmates has to offer, you can easily do so by visiting their online website at http://www.classmates.com. Once at their main page, you will have to go through the process of selecting your school. Once that has been done, you will then need to create a user profile. This profile is part of what will be displayed on the website; however, once you officially become a member you can add more information to your profile.

With a free membership, you can post your own profile and view profiles from other members. Viewing the profiles of other members, especially those that you went to school with, is easy. Classmates has separated everyone into categories. These categories not only include the schools that everyone went to, but the years that they attended. This means that whether you graduated in 1970 or 2000, you should easily be able to obtain information on your classmates.

Although you can view other member profiles with a free membership, you cannot contact them. To make contact with those that you have lost touch with, you will need to become a paying member. As previously mentioned, this membership is relatively easy to afford. Once you have become a paid member, you cannot not only contact your classmates individually, but you can also send out broadcast messages or announcements to everyone that you went to school with. A paid membership also gives you the ability to use the message boards.

By joining Classmates, you will not only be able to make contact with your old classmates and friends, but you may also even be able to renew old friendships or make new ones. Reconnecting with your old friends and making new ones, what could be better than that? <bio>http://www.homebusinesss.info </bio>

Whether you are looking to reconnect with a former love, searching for old friends or trying to locate a family member, an online people finder service can provide you with a variety of resources to help accomplish your goal. Depending on the type of service and the company offering it, some online people finder resources are free and others are available for a small fee.

For many, finding someone can be a daunting task and the hope often seems to diminish with each passing moment. Prior to the internet, individuals were limited in the way that they could attempt to locate someone. Today, that is no longer the case thanks to online people finder services, which help individuals around the globe to conduct online people finder searches every single day.

Among the most popular reasons for using a people finder service include an upcoming family or high school reunion, the hopes of reconnecting with a long lost love or former friend and sending special announcements and/or notices.

As it pertains to a family reunion, many individuals use a people finder service if their family is planning a reunion and some relatives have moved and/or lost touch with everyone. An online people finder service can help to find updated contact information for these family members so that they can be contacted about the upcoming reunion.

A people finder service is very popular when it comes to planning a high school reunion. Approximately every 10 years, high school classmates get together and talk about the old days. After graduation, most people go to college, get married and some even start working immediately. It sometimes will become necessary to relocate and often it is impossible to keep in touch with former classmates. When reunion time rolls around, every student is contacted by phone, mail or otherwise with an invitation to attend. At this point, it is necessary that the individual(s) responsible for planning the reunion have all of the updated contact information on former classmates, which is why an online people finder service is so beneficial.

And finally, one of the most popular reasons to use an online people finder is for personal reasons. Many want to reconnect with a former love and others simply want to get back in touch with an old friend. Perhaps it's for reasons of closure on a relationship, things that were left unsaid or just a simple contact to say 'hello,' all of which an online people finder service can help to make a reality. <bio>For more information about people finder, click the link to visit our website at http://www.peoplefinderguide.info .
One of the best ways to keep the rates down and obtain cheap car insurance for teens is by having your teen enroll in a driver education course. Not only do most car insurance companies offer discounts to teens who have taken driver education courses, but a driver education course will also help better prepare your teen for the road. Driver education courses are offered in most American high schools, and can be obtained by private companies.

Most driver education courses include classroom instruction, driving practice, and maintenance tips, as well as provide experience.

Classroom Instruction. Driver education courses include classroom instruction. Although most teens are anxious to get behind the wheel, the classroom instruction is necessary to begin teaching them about street signs, traffic lights, and basic rules of the road.

Driving Practice. During driving practice, not only will teens benefit from driving with and getting feedback from an experienced driver, but they'll also get to see their classmates in action. Therefore, the students will learn from their classmates' errors and successes.

Maintenance Tips. Some driver education courses teach teens basic car maintenance and repairs. For example, your teen's driver education course may teach students how to change a flat tire. This is an emergency that can occur for drivers of any age.

Experience. Although a driver education course will not make your teen as experienced at driving as you are, it will give your teen experience that he or she did not previously have. Getting behind the wheel of a car with a driving instructor will give your teen a "heads up" when it comes to actually taking his or her driver license examination.

When the time comes for your teen to take the driver license exam and ultimately purchase car insurance -- or be added to your car insurance policy -- you can help keep the rates down by making sure your teen has taken a driver education course. <bio>http://www.ezquoteguide.com/car/ http://www.myquoteguide.com/car-teen.shtml </bio>

This will help give more knowledge and improve your confidence.

Taking a real estate investing course is the best way to get the education you need to be successful in real estate investing. Of course, you can always learn through trial and error, but most people don't have the time or money to waste in this method.

When you take a real estate investing course, you want to get as much as you can from it. How much you get out of the real estate investing course will determine your success in real estate investing. Ultimately, it will determine your life.

Before the start of the real estate investing course, you should read over all the materials for the course. This includes the syllabus and suggested readings. In most cases, the course instructors jump right in.

It will be important for you to be up to speed on all the real estate investing course pre-requisites so you have full understanding of what is going on in the course. If you fall behind early in the real estate investing course, you may never catch up.

Be sure that you purchase any textbooks or materials prior to the real estate investing course. Most students find that when they purchase these materials up front, they are better prepared for success in the real estate investing course.

It would be unfortunate to have the instructor focus on something from the textbook and you not have it. The best practice is to purchase all necessary materials before the course begins.

Use the real estate investing course as an opportunity to network with your classmates and even your instructor. Even before that, these people can help you throughout the real estate investing course.

If there are areas of the course that you do not understand, your classmates and instructor are the best people to go to for help.

If you have homework as part of your course, make sure you do it as you go along. Not only does this help with your grade, it will also help in preparation for the exam.

Always prepare for exams at least a week in advance. This is true whether you are attending the real estate investing course in person or if you are taking it online. Preparing for the test ensures a better grade.
There is some important information about which schools, teachers, and classmates need to be aware with regards to diabetes. It is important that your school be prepared for any diabetes-related emergency that may arise for your child. The school nurse should be part of the child's school care team. Everyone in contact with a diabetic child needs to be ready to provide the required support.

It is important at all times to take a diabetic child seriously if he makes a request for a drink of water, needs a snack, or needs to use the rest room. The child's body is telling them what it requires to remain in good health. Remember that a diabetic child has normal interests and dreams identical dreams to other children. It is important that a diabetic child be treated as normally as possible. It is imperative that the lines of communication between home and the classroom should remain open.

Informing classmates that the child has diabetes is acceptable as long as it is presented in a positive way. The class should be educated about possible diabetes-related emergencies but they should also know that diabetics are kids just like they are. What is the best way to tell classmates and what should you say? Following are a few suggestions. A family member may want to prepare and present a brief presentation to teach the class about the disease. They could provide information according to their education-level and should be prepared to respond to questions. Questions will be asked; it is natural for children to be curious and they will appreciate honest, truthful answers in response to their questions.

The class should be instructed in terms they can understand, what diabetes is and its effects on the body. Tell them that that children with diabetes will take shots to manage their disease. Tell them about blood sugar and its important to the brain and nervous system. Identifying the signs of an insulin reaction may be an important part of thispresentation. Explaining chemical changes that occur in a diabetic's body will help them be understanding when low blood sugar causes unusual behavior in their classmate. Symptoms of these changes include unusual anger, grouchiness, headaches, falling asleep unexpectedly, or being confused about simple things. Children should be told that when a diabetic reacts to chemical changes he or she may sweat, act shaky, feel as though they have butterflies in their stomach, or look pale. If their classmate is preparing to give an oral report or to take an important test, they may find their blood sugar dropping. Some symptoms may indicate their need to have a small snack to keep their blood sugar levels under control.

Children should know that a diabetic child may not notice their signs of low blood sugar when they are having lots of fun or they are doing something of particular interest to them. It is important to remember that diabetic children should abstain from simple sugar. Though they generally should refrain from eating sweets, eating a sugar cube, a piece of candy, fruit juice, or soda will help bring elevate and normalize their blood sugar levels. <bio>David Davis contributes to several web sites, most recently http://fozic.com and http://great-healthy.com </bio>

During my last semester of college I had a few hours that I got to fill with elective classes. I had heard good things about the professor who taught Creative Writing and so I signed up for the class without too much thought about the content of the class or what it would require of me. Little did I know when I signed up that the Creative Writing class would be one of the hardest of my entire college experience.

I entered the class on the first day of the semester and was surrounded by what appeared to be all English and Art double majors. I tried to shake the fact that I was surrounded by people who write excessive amounts of poetry and gripping short stories for fun, but I just couldn't do it. In my mind all I could think about was the inevitable failures that were to come as I glanced at the syllabus of assignments for the months ahead. I even calculated my credits for graduation on the evening after that first class to see if there was any way that I could graduate without taking Creative Writing class.

Because I needed the credits, and quite honestly because I was intrigued by my classmates, I entered the classroom on the second day of class and on each day that Creative Writing met for the entire semester. It proved to be the most challenging classroom of my education. Each time I entered it was with a mixture of fear and excitement. I felt fear because I knew that each day things were required of me in Creative Writing that I had never experienced before, yet I was excited because I had so rarely been challenged to think, really think, before.

The first half of the semester Creative Writing was focused entirely on poetry. I spent many late nights and many tear filled afternoons working on writing poems. It didn't come easily for me like it did for all of my classmates. Poetry was what naturally came from their mouths everytime they talked. I was certainly not used to making my words sound beautiful or intentional. The goal of our poetry section in Creative Writing was to come up with ten polished poems that each met different requirements.

After the torture of poetry we moved on to writing short stories and scripts. This half of Creative Writing class proved no less challenging for me. I struggled every day until the last assignment had been turned in.

In the end, Creative Writing was not only the most difficult class I had ever taken, it was also my favorite. <bio>Analeese Burnabaker, now a professional writer, loves to recall the days when creative writing didn't come so easily. Does creative writing sound interesting? If so, check out http://www.allcreativewriting.info for more. </bio>

I am sure there are times when you have wondered what your buddy from high school is doing these days. Or perhaps that cute girl or guy you liked in your junior year? Well, in recent times there are easy ways to find out. For sure in the past, you had to deal with that whole phonebook thing, and if they weren't listed, you were just out of luck. Clearly that's a thing of the past. The internet has revolutionized the whole system of things. With the ease and help of your home PC or Mac, you can find people on the Internet with the push of a button, or a click of a mouse! Now whichever catchphrase your prefer, simply hop online and check it out today!

About a week ago, I stumbled across my high school yearbook, while searching for some old photo albums. I couldn't help but flip back through it as my eyes lit up with intrigue. Suddenly I got the idea to open up my laptop. In fact I never considered cyberspace as a way to reminisce. Who knows, I could probably find people on the Internet from my graduating class. Now isn't this a great idea. I began punching in names. Though a number of them didn't pop up, several did. Whether it listed the college they attended, their current law or medical practice, or just an award or certificate they had won, it was all too bizarre. I was soon hit with the ultimate way to find people on the Internet. There are simply websites that do this for you. Sure, it may cost you a fee, but if it's worth it to trace them; then why not? These websites can locate any person that's listed just about anywhere. Now, doesn't this sound cool? Today you can hop online and look for that certain someone you've always wanted to know about. Though I have to admit I was astonished at how many people stayed in our home town or state.

Classmates.com is a great way to find people on the Internet. This is truly a great web service that offers access to anyone who joins. Once you get online, you can literally regain touch with all of those old classmates. You also have the option to acquire emails, messages, and pictures. In spite of its monthly fee, this service is ideal if you want to find people on the Internet from your old high school. http://Yearbook.com is another website that may be up your ally. Sure, the Internet has undoubtedly changed things. There's simply no hiding these days. Just hop into cyberspace and find people on the Internet today! <bio>Linda E.
Every student is always trying to get a better grade in College. Term papers can seem overwhelming to many students who don't like to write or just think it is too much work involved. However, college papers are mandatory as long as you want to succeed in college. Writing a good term paper is not as hard as many students may think. It has a lot to do with good organizational skills, good research and not waiting until the last minute.

The effort that each student puts into his or her research is crucial to turning out a good term paper. Term papers always turn out to be advantageous to students and instructor because there is always something new discovered in the research information. The student will most definitely learn something new and that is actually the goal of the assignment.

To make sure you write a good paper, your content has to be original and unique. Students, who provide unique term paper content, are usually able to get the higher grades. Add a little creativity and twist to your term paper. Make the thesis something that would impart knowledgeable information to the reader.

If you have signed up for too many classes or have a hectic schedule, make sure you organize your time and your work. You might end up working on two or more term papers at a time, which can become quite overwhelming.

Make sure that you schedule your study time from your writing and research time. Get a calendar and list the things you have to finish and the deadlines. Time management is the key to turning out a good term paper. If you have a very long term paper to write and it is due in the same week of your next class, then you have waited until the deadline is too close and you won't be able to write a good paper.

Stay in close touch with your instructor to ask question and get clarification if you are not clear on your assignment. Ask for help from your classmates. You would be surprised how many of them will be able to give you advise and tips to help you with your term paper.

You can turn out high quality papers whether they are assigned as term papers or dissertations. Use your lecture notes as much as you can if the paper warrants it. Utilize your college library, writing lab and the Internet. These are great resources in turning out a good term paper.

One last tip:

Do not be afraid to ask questions. It is better to know exactly what you are doing or not. Discuss the project with your classmates. You would be surprised how someone else has a different perspective and can answer some questions for you and give you ideas.

More of my articles about writing term papers are available here. Include a guide of successful term paper writing and much more.

more articles will be published once a month. <bio>http://www.UniversiTip.com is the best and most advantageous academic information bank on the web.
A very special man who spent a lifetime making very special shoes for some very special feet recently passed away. For people with disfigured feet, shopping for shoes that would enable them to walk was a near impossibility. Robert Mokros lost his foot at the age of 13 and found out exactly how impossible it was for any of how new classmates to purchase shoes could be. He was sent to a school for children with disabilities after the loss of his foot. There he saw that many of his classmates had disfigured feet but could not buy shoes. In his home country of Germany this could have life threatening effects in winter.

Robert created his very special shoes for people with disfigurements all around the world, and unlike shoe shopping for most of us, he did not even need the foot the shoe was meant for.

Simply looking at an individual's feet he was able to carve the exact likeness from wood in order to fit the shoe to the foot. He used a few assistive devices such as dye footprints or plaster castings and sometimes just paper tracings or simple sketches. His unique talent permitted thousands of customers to purchase their first pair of shoes. Some his customers were able to walk for the first time in their lives because of his special ability to produce the necessary shoes.

Robert was a pioneer in the shoe industry and his techniques and ideas transformed the medical industry's outlook on people's need for prosthetic shoes. While he remained in business almost up until the day he died, his idea were sold to large shoe companies who were able to produce these specialized shoes faster and even a little more attractively.

There are a great number of people who still benefit from Robert's shoe revolution. Thousands of people every year are in need of prosthetic shoes and are now finally able to do their own form of shoe shopping. These unique shoes assist in their ability to walk and in some cases, allow them to walk when they would have no other form of self mobility.

Very few able bodied people think about the difficulties those with foot disfigurements have in purchasing shoes. Thanks to one man's unique talent and compassion, he was able to provide the gift of mobility for hundred of thousands of people world wide. <bio>Jena Luthowski writes about http://www.shoeshopping247.com/Categories/Women's%20Shoes.html, http://www.shoeshopping247.com and http://www.shoeshopping247.com/Coupons/Shoebuy.com.html </bio>

The first day of school is never easy especially for young preschoolers. It is a period of adjustment for both parent and child. At this time, the parent is responsible for making it easier for the child to adjust in the new environment and accept the new situation of his or her daily life.

Here are some childcare tips on how a parent can help his or her child adjust on the first day.

•	Choose the childcare centre that caters to children's needs and will help develop their intellectual, physical and emotional abilities. Visit the centre and observe classes to know how educators or childcare providers handle children.

•	Explain the situation. A child needs to understand that the childcare centre is for his or her benefit.
•	It is significant that trust is built between the parent and the child. The child must understand and feel that his or her parents are not choosing childcare to abandon him or her but rather to create an environment for new learning.

•	Be enthusiastic when talking about the childcare centre. Children are most happy when they have playmates. But for some, they fear a large environment. The parent must know what his or her child prefers. This would also help the parent choose the right childcare centre.

•	Arrange a visit to the childcare centre days before the first day. Show the child his or her classroom. A parent may also introduce the child to the teacher or some classmates to establish a bond.

•	Prepare a daily routine and explain it to the child. The schedule should reflect time for waking up, dropping off and picking up from the centre and bedtime.

•	Have a reliable communication with the childcare provider to share the child's daily activities.

•	On the actual first day, it is important for the parent to be with the child during the first few hours. In some cases, a child prefers that his or her parent stays until the session is finished. Let the child know the time for the parent to leave. It is not recommended that a parent leave once he or she feels that the child is enjoying the class. This would result to distrust and the child would be more anxious to go to the centre on the next days.

•	Never forced a child to immediately bond with classmates or teacher. Be prepared for situations when the child just sit and watch. This is the child's way of observing his or her surroundings.

•	Be punctual on pickup time. A child would appreciate more if he or she sees his or parents once he or she goes out of the classroom. Punctuality provides security for the child. Take the extra time to talk to the childcare provider or teacher.

•	On the way home, ask about his or her first day. It is important for a child to know that his or her parent is interested on how the day goes.

•	Praise the child for a successful and happy first day. Praise feeds the emotional needs of children. This would let the child know that he or she has done well and taken the first steps to being responsible.<bio>Grunty's day care nursery is a long established Nursery School based in Blackpool.
I have to admit I was a little worried about how the talk at school would go. Even though I am well-trained in communicating with kids, I am still a mom first. And moms worry! It's part of our DNA.

The kids had just started a new school and the teachers requested that I talk to their classmates about their medical issues. Both of our children have cystic fibrosis. They need to take medication (pancreatic enzymes) to help their food digest properly. Of course their classmates have noticed Jacob and Kasey chucking down a handful of pills at lunchtime and have barraged my children- and their teachers- with questions.

I spent a couple of hours preparing for the talk. I wanted it to be fun and informative- sort of like a health education class. Kids need visuals so I found a diagram of the digestive system that could be colored. Jacob and Kasey helped me gather some show-and-tell items: A nebulizer cup, an albuteral puffer, and opened up pancreatic enzymes placed in a baggie (kids always want to know "what's inside").

We decided together what to talk about and I gave them lots of choices: Do you want to talk or have me do it? Will you be with me or at your desk? Kasey (in first grade) decided to have me do all the talking but she would be my helper. Jacob (third grade) decided to do the talking about pancreatic enzymes and have me teach about the rest. We were prepared and the kids were excited. Kasey's little girlfriends were buzzing with anticipation. They were all so curious about CF.

I was nervous. I do plenty of public speaking but I was more nervous about speaking in front of twenty first and third graders than 200 adults! These are my babies! And this is "life-and-death" stuff in front of their classmates. What if I blew it? One of my biggest fears was that a child would innocently ask, "Will Jacob (or Kasey) die from cystic fibrosis?" The honest "grown up" answer is, "It's possible unless there is a cure since the median life expectancy is 37 at this time." But that's not something a 7-year-old needs to know in such stark terms- including my own! I wasn't exactly sure how I would answer this question and I wasn't sure if my kids really knew this reality. So, taking my cues from Dr. Foster Cline, I decided to ask them.

Preparing for the worst, I casually (but with heart pounding) asked my son, "So Jacob. What would you say if someone at school asks you if you can die from CF?" He thought for a moment. Then he said, "Well, I would say people do die from CF. But we are more likely to live longer when we take good care of our bodies." Wow!! The answer of my dreams! He knows the reality of the situation but also understands the role he plays in taking responsibility for his healthcare. Plus he understands the long-term impact of his healthcare decisions.

That massively encouraged me. Later on, I asked Kasey the same thing. She said, "Well, you can but if you eat healthy and take all your medicine then maybe not." Bingo! Two for two. Both kids have an understanding of the reality of cystic fibrosis and are hopeful about positive outcomes based on their personal choices about self-care. I have to say I was a little surprised. I didn't think that children this young could have such a mature attitude and understanding of such a heavy situation.

The talks went well that day. All of the children were curious, open and delightful. We had a lot of fun together. Kasey even demonstrated chucking down four (big) enzymes in one swallow just before lunch. The kids couldn't have been more amazed if it were a flaming sword!

And no one even asked the dreaded question. Go figure.<bio>Lisa Greene is the mother of two children with cystic fibrosis and the co-author with Foster Cline MD of the "Parenting Children with Health Issues: Essential Tools, Tips and Tactics for Raising Kids with Chronic Illness, Medical Conditions and Other Special Needs."
Ten years have gone by and you can't believe it. Either you were a class officer, so planning the banquet defaults to you; or no one seems to have planned a banquet, so you were roped into the planning committee. No worries, putting together a banquet doesn't need to be overwhelming.

For starters, you'll need about six people for your planning committee, and one person to lead the group. The phrase, "the more the merrier" isn't always best. Decisions need to be made and too many people will cause you to get stuck in the quagmire. If others want to help, put them on sub-committees to delegate tasks to later.

Just like a wedding, it's important that you get a ring and a dress. No, that's not right. It's important that you get a date and a location. You can't move forward if you don't solidify those two factors. Before deciding on a location, get an idea of how much money you are going to spend. Do you have any funds in an account leftover from previous banquets? How much per head will you charge your classmates to attend? Some events end up costing $50+ per person, and your attendance will be lower if you don't keep it reasonable for people to attend. If you only want to be able to charge $25 per person, then that will influence your decision on location (union hall vs. country club).

Will you be hiring a DJ? If so, get this person reserved next. Don't wait for the last minute to try to find someone. You'll need to compensate deposits on the banquet hall and the disc jockey. The last big thing you'll want to decide is if you're going to be having dinner or just h'or duerves. If you're just going to have snacks, you can save a bundle by doing the food yourself. You don't need to have that catered.

Start getting a hold of classmates. This is a daunting job. It's a little easier now with the internet and all the people-search resources. Women are a little harder to find because of all the possible name changes. Ask people to ask people to ask people. This is truly a word of mouth venture. Also contact parents. Other suggestions are to do a lot of publicity. Post your banquet notices on www.classmates.com and www.banquet.com. Send out press releases to media: newspaper, TV and radio. Build a website preferably with the domain name of your school and year dot com. Having your own website will simplify things as you can put all the pertinent information on the site, then in all your other notices, give a contact phone number then "see website for details." Also contact your Alma Matter to see if they can post the info on the marquis out front. Mail invitations; even simple flyers made on the computer will suffice, but give them something to stick on their refrigerator.

Keep decorations simple. No one really cares. They're coming to see each other, not how pretty the room looks. You can spend a bundle on room dιcor if you're not careful. Photocopy pictures from the yearbook, cut them out, stick on poster boards and laminate. Voila'. Get copies of the school newspaper and leave those on the tables. Don't go overboard here. It's a waste of money.

Door prizes are optional. People always like to win stuff. Solicit business owners for donations if you want. You can delegate this task to someone who may have wanted to help but you didn't need any more decision makers. 50/50 raffles are always fun too. Check to make sure raffles are permitted before conducting this though. Most places don't have a problem with this type of activity.

One final word, if your banquet hall rental fee does not include after-event clean up, but offers that at an additional charge, take it! This option will be much appreciated at the end of a long day of setting up and pulling off your event. You don't want to mess with clearing tables and emptying trash at one o'clock in the morning.

More importantly, have fun and don't sweat it. The details aren't as important as old friends reconnecting. <bio>Online entrepreneur Sara Jenkins, is dedicated to helping others and their needs to succeed in life by offering free tips everyday.
Emotional abuse is a large issue that people do not tend to deal with properly. Emotional abuse stems from the yelling or screaming of parents and also from the bullies in school taunting classmates. Emotional abuse is a leading cause of suicide in the United States. Just like abuse in sexual matters, emotional abuse can be and would be called just as bad because of the fact you are dealing with mental trauma.

Emotional abuse can be prevented by making sure kids are not yelled or screamed at or called names by loved ones. Also, when classmates and/or school bullies are pushing kids around and calling others names, this usually stems from emotional abuse at home.

There are many facilities for the emotionally abused and most of them are state hospitals and private care facilities. These facilities are specifically used for emotional abuse and also for emotional abusers who may or may not be into the drug and alcohol scene.

Those involved in emotional abuse usually have an agenda. That agenda is usually to cause as much damage as possible to the subject so that the person would break down.

When a person breaks down from emotional abuse, there is really nothing anybody can do but provide support and love toward that person. Usually a hospital stay will be needed to have the subject feel better. This is mainly because emotional abuse can lead to depression and also many other things such as self inflicted harm, like cutting or hurting oneself.

Emotional abuse is something that needs to be dealt with right away with parents of subjects that are bullied and usually the abuser needs issues to be worked out themselves. Emotional abuse has been reportedly on of the many reasons why many clinics and hospitals have taken on a vast majority of patients. This because of the damage that was inflicted on them by the emotional abuser.

Emotional abuse can and will be used to generate a breaking of the will sometimes. This is usually done in military camps and now has proven to be an unhealthy means of working with recruits who are being made into the machines they become soldiers. It has become outlawed to be hurt emotionally and physically by any person in the military these days and is no longer is put up with.

Most of those involved in emotional abuse are taught to be abusers. Some emotional abusers can and will grow out of it while some (the vast majority of them) become jailed or institutionalized .. Emotional abuse is a very hurtful and vengeful way of hurting someone's personality and their self esteem. Teachers, community leaders, religious leaders, and peers are always helping to try to solve and correct the problem. In summary, emotional abuse needs to be dealt with with and the abuser must be dealt with relatively quickly because it can cause lifelong damage to the victim. It can cause trauma and make peers and loved ones hurt themselves and also may cause lifelong damage that may affect someone's life for years to come. <bio>http://www.theabusesite.com/emotionalabuse.html brings you the latest news on emotional abuse.
Home schooling is preferred by some parents. Some parents want to make sure that their child is getting all the schooling needed even though he is staying and learning at home instead of learning inside the classroom. They believe that they are able to control the curriculum better. Moreover, they want to impart their own values that are necessary in molding a child. They are also focused on teaching deeper subjects that they believe are significant to his learning. There is also a belief that they can slow down when the child is having difficulty and spend more time on these subjects. In this way, the child has a better chance of learning the harder lessons.

You can be there to guide your child in some topics and issues that could be easily misinterpreted when explained in school by teachers or other classmates. In terms of social interactions, home schooling has developed good benefits. Thoughtful parents nowadays have considered home schooling as a solution to their child's learning needs. The number of children learning at home is continually increasing. But apart from the benefits, there are also drawbacks.

Let us first discuss the benefits that one can get from home schooling. First and foremost is control, the control on what to learn, what to teach and what to encourage in your child's mind. Some parents say that some schools, private or public, have a lack of input and control that a parent has over his or her child's educational needs. Some parents think that they can provide a better standard and quality of education through home schooling. They can teach their children on the subjects and areas which they feel are appropriate for their children to learn. These parents feel there is a lack of quality education in school and that there are many factors that could be the cause of this. These factors could be the curriculum, the teaching staff, as well as the teaching methods.

Moreover, they are afraid that their child is exposed to a wide range of children his own age but with different backgrounds and upbringings. They are afraid that classmates might influence their children have parents who do not hold the same values. In addition, home schooling is less expensive than enrolling your children in private schools which require high tuition fees. Every year tuition fees get higher and these expenses will only increase. For these reasons, some families prefer home schooling rather than enrolling in private schools. They believe that home schooling creates more bonding interactions between the parents and their children. With this, the child may never feel neglected and abandoned in any way.

Some drawbacks to home schooling is that some children can find it quite isolating, so it is important to include some form of socializing for your child. Be it after school clubs or sports. Also, as a parent you will have to be disciplined to ensure your child receives the education they deserve and do not fall behind in any of the curriculum subjects. There will be exams to sit and papers to mark, which have to be submitted for review. If conducted in a thorough and organized fashion, home schooling can be beneficial for both parent and child. <bio>Alison Palmer has an interest in Family and Children related topics.
Your choice of PMP Exam Preparation Online training is predicated on your busy lifestyle. You simply do not have enough time to squeeze in brick-and-mortar classes in your already-packed professional schedule stretching from early morning to late night. So, what is the better solution? Online training! Why?

Convenience and Comfort

You can have your training anywhere, anytime at your convenience. With PMP Exam Preparation Online you can log on 24/7 in the comfort of your own home, at the office, while traveling, and anywhere else you can think of. You can study anytime of the day, even during the graveyard shift! You should choose a course with unlimited access so that you can avail of the 24/7 feature.

With PMP Exam Preparation Online, you can set your own pace of learning. Indeed, you cannot be expected to keep up with the others since there are no others (classmates that is)! You can go slow or go fast depending on how well you understand the training modules. Of course, it is always best to have a study plan.

And because online training does not require your physical presence, unlike brick-and-mortar classrooms, you can study without worrying about your physical appearance and how your emotional moods will affect your classmates.

Complete and Comprehensive

You can have complete and comprehensive instruction from the PMP Exam Preparation Online training course. The quality of content and the quantity of topics discussed are the same as in classroom instruction, with the added advantage that you have online help anytime you wish.

Continuing Credits and Certification

In your efforts towards achieving and maintaining your PMP credential, you will need to acquire continuing education credits. There are many sources for these credits such as PMI training courses and global congresses, classroom instructions, contributions to professional research, and being writer of published works on the subject of project management.

Of course, there is always the PMP Exam Preparation Online that offers as much as 35 PDUs. This is the minimum number of required contact hours for formal project management training before you can actually apply for the PMP examination. Just ask for the certificate of completion and you have a verifiable proof of PDUs acquired.

Cost-Friendly

When you factor in the cost of transportation, books, and other miscellaneous expenses in classroom instruction, you will find that online training is cheaper without sacrificing quality. After all, you are not required to travel to the classroom (and with gas prices as high as they are today, you will be grateful to give your pocket a rest), you are not required to buy additional books, and you are not even required to be presentable (no clothes worry, no fashion police).

You will also not lose your leave credits while you are acquiring your professional credits. Since you can study at home, you need not be absent from work. This means that you actually save your vacation and sick credits for when you really need them.

Indeed, the PMP Exam Preparation Online is good news for all Project Managers who wish to broaden their knowledge and secure their credentials.<bio>For your online PMP Exam preparation, take a PMP Exam Preparation Course from ThreeO.ca now!
When a 10th class reunion is observed from a third person perspective, there are often times those who leave the event with a feeling that nothing has changed. The cheerleaders are still cheery and the football jocks still think they have what it takes to be in the NFL. Many of the same annoying attitudes seem to resurface and so many seem intent on impressing the other with their achievements and successes.

By the time the 20th class reunion has arrived, many individuals are bent on talking excessively about their children and their successes. Time has a way of mellowing most people, but there are still those few individuals who are intent on trying to relive the glory days, the days that will not come again, well at least not the way they remember it.

When many years have passed most of those attending the reunion have the acute ability to recollect a sense of fondness synonymous with their high school days, which as a result eliminates many of the differences between each other and encourages everyone to come together in remembrance of what was good about a past that bares virtually no resemblance to the present. The jokes and cheerleaders are now a distant memory, what's left is a group of people that can now come together to celebrate the past and present because a new generation is firmly established through their offspring.

A site like Classmates.com can and will help people of numerous ages reconnect with their former classmates. What was once a 10 year wait for reunions, no longer has to be.

This websites primal initiative is to focus on the emotional connection of people. In a society were everything is face paced with very little consistency, this site really works in re-establishing connections with a past that seems most vivid to people.

You may possibly be remembering Friday Night Football and conversations around the locker rooms or some other event creped in your memory. You are lamenting the fact that many of those you graduated with, you may never see again.

This is the essence of emotion, the strength of connection. This effectively provides meaning beyond a simple purchase.

Whether your businesses specialty is in dealing with people or selling candles, you can harness the power of emotion to help people connect with both your site and product.

In the year 2007, Charmin presented a commercial that was said to explore the connection viewers had with the actor that played the role of Mr. Whipple. The actor sadly passed away in 2007, but not before starring in a composite of commercials as Mr Whipple. The point is, a connection was established between the viewers and the actor primarily because of the memories that were associated with where the viewers are when they make recollection of seeing the commercials.

A new generation is born and their emotional connections will be different. There is simply nothing that prevents the possibility of creating emotional connections online. Your task lies in your ability to create the connection your site visitors need in order to recall the connections you hope they experience.

There in lies the definition of internet marketing. <bio>Uchenna Ani-Okoye is a computer expert and internet marketing.
All around the country along about now, the kids are going back to school. While it's primarily their event, it impacts the whole family, as everyone adjusts to new schedules and routines.

As you maneuver your way through this yearly adjustment, here are some tips to keep in mind.

When To Loosen Up, When To Tighten Up

Establish the new routines consistently and firmly. Go over the new organization that's required - preparing for school the night before (clothes and supplies organized and ready to go for the next day), a sensible bed time, whether they bathe in the morning or evening, getting up on time, cleaning teeth, getting dressed and eating a good breakfast, and being ready for transportation on time.

At the same time, relax about other things not so important. Remember that your child is under stress, adjusting to a new routine, new teacher, new classmates and classroom, and perhaps even a new school. You can let up on some things for the time being, such as keeping their room spit-spot.

Expect some regression in behavior. That's what we do under stress (and you may be doing it as well!). Your child may be a little more on edge than usual and more emotionally reactive. That's why being firm about the new routines are important. Allow for outbursts, remaining calm yourself. Remember you're always modeling emotional intelligence, whether you mean to or not.

They will also be picking up some new habits. Who among us hasn't had their child return home from school the first day with a lovely new word you can't believe they learned, and never want to hear again.

Go back over the rules of the road for your household, and the fact that "Freddy does it so I can too," doesn't compute. My mother used to say "If Freddy sat on a hot stove, would you?" (Eventually I figured out the meaning of this metaphor!)

Processing

School is school, just like work is work, but when there's been a hiatus, and when certain parts of it are new, there is always emotional processing going on.

Just as you ask your child for facts -- about their teacher, classmates, and subject -- ask them about their feelings. Then listen. Provide support and perspective as needed. A comment such as, "I hate school," should be calmly investigated. It may turn out, as happened to me once with a little one, that the lunch served that day had been "yuchy," though everything else, once pursued, appeared to have been keen.

If you precede this with "How are you feeling about your new teacher?" you will get a chance to experience the level of your child's ability to express their emotions, and can help him or her sort them through, which is invaluable. Make emotional-expression vocabulary a part of your child's learning experience. Children as young as 3 can learn to respond (when having a tantrum):

"Are you angry?" "Yes." "Can you tell me why?" I'm frustrated."

It's More Than Getting A's

As you get into the first weeks, check and see how your child is doing in their social adjustment. Friends and being able to get along make such a difference in their self-esteem, happiness, and ability to function well at school. A's are important, but children with higher emotional intelligence and better interpersonal relationships tend to do better academically.

With patience on your part, and instruction, and the passage of time, much of the turmoil will subside. Before you know it, you'll all be settled into the new routine! <bio>Susan Dunn, Life Coach, http://www.susandunn.cc .
You carry a full load just like your classmates. Unlike your classmates, however, you do not party the night away or sleep off the little migraines caused by exams. No matter how tired or weary you are, you have to trudge to a convenience store two blocks away, and clock in at least six hours of work. It doesn't seem to matter how hard you work, though. You can still barely pay for school, and you are still saddled with student loans that only seem to balloon with every passing term.

Obviously, whoever said there are many more important things than money has never tried being a poor student, juggling work and classes and barely making ends meet. If you're one, and you have to keep worrying about where money for emergencies will come from, why not get a student Visa credit card? Since their creation in 1950, credit cards have made purchasing and payment more convenient for the public. Student Visa credit cards give you the same power even if you're a struggling student on a budget.

Introduction to Credit Before you get a student Visa credit card, you should know the basics about credit itself. You need good credit when you get loans for homes or vehicles, look for a job, or more importantly, apply for a credit card. Your credit record is like your shadow: it follows you wherever you go. Before getting a student Visa credit card, be sure to take these steps, to help ensure you can maintain a clean credit record.

1. Study the credit card agreement. There won't be a quiz afterwards. Still, you should learn the key facts that are listed in the agreement. These include annual charges, finance charges, the grace period, and the APR, or annual percentage rate. It is advisable that you find a card with a lower APR, if you intend to maintain a balance on your credit card account.

2. Pay off your balance before the grace period ends. Do this to avoid finance charges. Think of the grace period as a loan for a month. If you pay off the loan within a month, you won't be charged interest.

3. Memorize your credit limit. There is no excuse for not knowing your credit limit. If you exceed the credit limit and are unable to pay for it, you could face stiff penalties, fees, and the possibility of having your card frozen or your account canceled.

Choosing a Card for Credit University Choosing a student Visa credit card is like choosing a college course. You should first gather information and then determine which one is best for you. Here are some popular cards that you could choose from.

Bank of America Student Visa Platinum: Benefits include no annual fee and no co-signer required.

Chase Platinum Student Visa Card with Flexible Rewards: Benefits include no annual fee, and 0% introductory APR.

Citi Driver's Edge Visa Card: Benefits include no annual fee; rebate on purchases at gas stations, grocery stores and drugstores; and 1% rebate on everything else you purchase.

Wells Fargo College Visa Card: Benefits include no annual fee, low APR percentages, 24-hour customer service, and extra cards at no charge.

A student Visa credit card is not just a safety net in case of emergency. It is also an opportunity to prepare for future financial independence. <bio>It's easy to get credit cards ( http://www.creditcardmonitor.org ), particularly student Visa credit cards ( http://www.creditcardmonitor.org/student.php ).
