A hypnosis sample is a hint of what the real thing would be like. Hypnosis can be used by skilled professionals to help people change their behavior for the better. Many people with problem behaviors try many ways to improve their lives. People who smoke, overeat or drink too much usually know that their lives would be better without these awful habits in their lives. Their weaknesses cause them problems on the job, on the road and at home. Many turn to treatments such as acupuncture or therapy to get some changes. Hypnosis has helped many people change their behaviors.

Many people work with a hypnotist to change their behaviors. These people spend some time getting to know the procedures and techniques used by these professionals. The hypnotist has to have a good working relationship with a client in order to help them modify unwanted behaviors. The next steps can take a variety of paths. Sometimes people want to continue for many sessions with the hypnotist. Other people do not have the funds or time to have multiple sessions. The people after the initial sessions can learn to use methods to hypnotize themselves. They can also use hypnosis scripts to help them continue the techniques of hypnosis. There are hypnosis samples of some of the techniques for achieving better behavior.

A Hypnosis Sample Can Show Great Hypnotic Techniques

A hypnosis sample can give a clear idea of what hypnosis entails. These hypnosis samples are models of a session on hypnosis. These hypnosis samples will show that a session using these techniques will first concentrate on relaxation. Those using hypnosis must relax before they can have their mind ready to change some of their behaviors. There are different relaxation techniques, and these will appear in a hypnosis sample. A hypnosis sample will show that it is important for someone to be in touch with their feelings to change their behaviors.

A hypnosis sample will show people some of the techniques used to help people recall the feelings they have in certain situations that might lead to unwanted behavior. There are many hypnosis samples available for those interested in using hypnosis for behavior modification. The great selection available is good for the consumer. Each person should look at some of the hypnosis samples available in order to have a clear understanding of the methods. There is evidence that people can change their behavior by using hypnosis. People in need of change should investigate the options carefully. <bio>Ann Merier a prolific writer has written many articles about family health and house and garden Topics. http://selfhypnosis.ultimatehealthinfo.com http://u-can-prevent-id-theft.com http://babycare.ultimatehealthinfo.com </bio>

Chair massage techniques are unique. Many massage therapists try to use traditional Swedish massage techniques when doing chair massage, but this kind of approach doesn't translate well to seated massage.

Swedish massage techniques largely consist of gliding strokes and this method is doesn't work well because chair massage is done over the clothing and no oils are used.

There are essentially six types of chair massage techniques:

1. Compression techniques: These are what you may think of as acupressure techniques and are the most commonly used chair massage techniques. The creator of the chair massage concept was trained in Amma massage, an ancient system of acupressure techniques and this style of massage is often used in chair massage technique training. These can be hard on the thumbs as they are typically used, especially since many trainers lack adequate knowledge in the application of these techniques. However, at Relax to the Max, students are taught to do these techniques safely with a great deal of emphasis on the biomechanics of the movements. As well, the thumbs are used very seldom used in the Relax to the Max chair massage techniques as other contact points are often used, including fists, the heels of the hands, knuckles, elbows and forearms.

2. Squeezing techniques: With these types of massage techniques, the practitioner squeezes the muscles between two contact points. These are often performed on large muscle groups and muscles that are not firmly attached to underlying structures. It is critical when doing these techniques to accurately identify the edges of the muscles and this is a big focus on training when learning to do these chair massage techniques at Relax to the Max.

3. Kneading techniques: These are circular movements. Like the other chair massage techniques we've already discussed, there are ways to do these techniques that put minimal stress on the body. Whereas most schools teach students how to do this with the thumbs, Relax to the Max utilizes unique contact points like the elbows and pisiforms when doing these techniques to save your thumbs and to reduce the amount of effort.

4. Percussion: These stimulating techniques are what many people refer to as karate chops. When applied properly these percussive chair massage techniques feel great. Customers often report that this is the favorite part of their seated massage experience.

5. Friction techniques: This is an adaptation of traditional Swedish style movements and are used occasionally in the chair.

6. Gliding techniques: Although not performed frequently, there are times when these can be used effectively. At Relax to the Max you learn when these kinds of chair massage techniques are indicated.

If you are going to learn chair massage techniques, be sure to get adequate training from specialists who know what they are doing. Relax to the Max is the only massage school in North America that specializes in chair massage techniques and is a first choice for chair massage training by professionals from around the world. <bio>Relax to the Max is a chair massage school and offers a short, affordable alternative to traditional massage schools.
Have you set goals for yourself only to fail to achieve them?

You need to follow sound goal setting techniques if you want to achieve your dreams. These techniques may be based on your own understanding of various issues, or on advice given by your parents, professional counselors, and seniors. But, no matter where they come from, they can make a big difference between success and failure.

The first thing you need to do is write down your goals. Remember that until a goal is committed to paper, it is not a goal; it is simply a desire. You also need to write down the benefits that you hope to achieve.

The next step is to pick a deadline and determine your current state of preparedness to achieve the goal. You should also identify which problems you are likely to face. This will make you mentally ready to conquer them.

You need to often review your course of action. This gives you a chance to change your goals based on your revised circumstances and needs. It is also good to surround yourself with people who are positive about your approach and who will cheer you on. Keep away from those who belittle you all the time. They can do more harm than good by trying to dissuade you from achieving your goals.

Your goals must arise out of your belief in your capabilities. This is very important, because no goal can be achieved that is not based on self-confidence. Motivation is another important psychological factor. In fact, motivation and goal setting are like two sides of the same coin. Your goal cannot be achieved without both of them.

Finally, all your goals should have several short-term targets and a long-term target. The short-term targets (or sub-goals) should have deadlines, and should merge with each other in seamlessly. You should review your goals periodically and modify them when and if your needs and circumstances change. These techniques are the best way to set and achieve goals. <bio>Patricia Johnson writes for several online magazines, including http://lajop.com and http://lotuv.com </bio>

What is the one thing about yourself that you'd most like to change? Something you know would make your life much happier. Lose weight? Get out of a bad relationship? Be more assertive? Quit procrastinating? Curb your anger? Quit lying? Find a mate? Change jobs? Improve your sex life? Whatever your problem, however many times you may have tried in the past, I'm here to tell you there's lots you can do to fix it now.

The answer is not The Secret. You cannot simply think your way to happiness. Not that positive thinking isn't terrific, it is. Positive thinking gets you to focus on your goals rather than your unhappiness, but that is only one step on the road to improving your life.

Successful change requires taking action, handling the problem in a different way than you have in the past. Thinking about it, wishing, daydreaming, repeating old behaviors, none of that works. Only an actual change in your behavior will move you in a new direction to fix the problem.

But if you're like most of us, much as you may want to change, when the time comes to actually do things differently, negative feelings get in the way. Everybody wants to feel ready to change before they get going. "As soon as I lose 20 pounds, I'll try to find a guy." "When I don't feel so depressed, I'm definitely going to look for a job."

Or sometimes when people's feelings resist change, they decide change is totally impossible for them. "It's my nature to be shy. There's nothing I can do about that." "It would make me too nervous to give up cigarettes." "AA can't help. My father was alcoholic and so was my grandfather. It's genetic."

Wanting to feel ready to change before taking action is exactly backwards. As a clinical psychologist who has spent many years helping people successfully change, I know that if you wait to feel ready to make your move, you could wait forever. But the good news is, with the right roadmap, it's perfectly possible to move yourself forward without feeling ready. We don't like to go against our own feelings, but in the situations I'm talking about, it isn't dangerous to do so, just uncomfortable. And there are techniques you can learn to handle that discomfort and move forward anyway.

What are the real "secrets" to successful change? First off understanding that change takes time, so be patient and remember to pat yourself on the back for the effort you make. You'll also need a solid plan and techniques like Mindfulness training to help you manage any emotional resistance to change that you may experience. Finally, just as an actor rehearses, you'll need to practice and fine-tune your new behavior before trying it out in the real world.

Making a personal change that you know will improve your life better is a very empowering experience. Don't let your feelings and fears stop you. Your life is not a dress rehearsal. Choose to make the most of it!<bio>Marion K.
What happens if I change the canvas size? I want to print my photo as a 5x7 print. Should I change the image size or the canvas size?

These are common questions among beginners who are just learning to use Photoshop. Many who are just learning to use Adobe Photoshop often are confused by the differences in the canvas size and image size functions.

The ability to adjust the canvas size is just one of the many features available in Adobe Photoshop that puts the user in control of every aspect of the digital image editing process.

While there is much more too it, changing the canvas size essentially creates more work space by adding extra pixels to the total image. There are many ways you can use the canvas and image size functions to make your digital image editing work easier.

Not only can you change the size of the canvas but you can also change the canvas color. This function can be used to create frames or borders around your images. In addition, there are many other more advanced techniques for using the canvas size and image size functions.

As with all of the features and functions of Photoshop, the most important thing to keep in mind is that you take the time to learn how to properly use Photoshop's image and canvas size functions before you jump into a photo-editing project.

Photoshop is not nearly as difficult to learn as many might think but it does require that you learn proper techniques. While with many lesser quality photo editing programs you can sometimes get by with trial and error, Photoshop is not that easy to just jump in and create professional quality graphic work without some knowledge.

With that being said, once you learn Photoshop there will be no limitations to what you can create. <bio>Master The Basics Of Adobe Photoshop In Under 2 Hours With Easy To Follow Instantly Accessible Online Video Tutorials.
Have you ever purchased a study guide that promises to teach you the the great and amazing "study secret" that no one has ever heard of? In most cases, this type of hype does not carry any real content or any fulfillment to the many promises they make. Hence, It will be my intention today to try to guide you on how to find out the real study techniques that lead to success in your studies. First of all, let me start out by this premise:

There are no real short cuts or secrets to gaining knowledge, it's a matter of hard word and patience. Hence the saying: "Patience might be sour but its result is sweet". Although there are no (or very few) real study secrets, there do exist certain study techniques that will make your studying a whole lot easier and even more effective. As you yourself might know, there are numerous ways of studying and I can't compel you to choice a certain way that doesn't fit you, hence I strongly urge you to do the following:

No matter how you learn the best (by visual experience, kinetic etc) make sure that you do not change horses in midstream concerning the way you learn, ie do not flip flop between different learning approaches. This will inevitable confuse you and may even worsen your study results in the long run. Remember that studying a small amount of information each day on a long time period is several times better than studying an immense amount of information over a short time frame. Contingency is a vital component in your studies, never forget that!

This article was not written in order to spell out all the thousands of different study techniques found under the sun but in the hope of making you realize that one can systemize the way one studies and that this change really can make a difference. Therefore, I urge you once again to sit down and reflect for a moment; how do you learn the best? Be sure to write down your answers and review them with your self and see if you can make any general conclusions, you might be stunned to see that you might have had a bad approach for too long. <bio>Adam Abderisak, a.k.a.
Many large retailers such as Macy's or Wal-Mart are using direct mail techniques in order to reach out to their customers. These large companies often mail out sales flyers that highlight what will be on sale in their retail stores that week. Retailers that have special sales often send them out as well.

You may not thing that you can implement direct mail techniques in your own small business, but this can be very effective in your community or trying to reach your target market. It can be used effectively for little money, although it's not as flashy as advertising on TV, often the cost for acquiring new leads is much less.

You may or may not have noticed, but direct mail techniques have been used for many years. A lot of people ca still get their mail daily, even though they have become accustomed to using email for personal and some business communication. In the past, this method has been used more by larger companies. More profitable companies implement direct mail techniques into their overall marketing strategy and are very successful.

People often ignore both the radio and TV, and they can do so rather easily by blocking out the ads or changing the station or channel. Implementing direct mail techniques is much less invasive and when offers are received they can just place them aside and look at it later.

You should remember that implementing direct mail techniques gives you more say than TV or radio spots if you are selling a product or service. You can print just about anything you want, and you don't have to cram your information on some tiny 30 second spot ad. You can be sure that your potential customers and clients get all the information they need to make and informed decision.

If you implement direct mail techniques the right way, it can be very effective. People will receive ads and flyers in the mail as long as they still have postal service. You have to determine what strategy of delivery is best for you. Should you use a bulk rate, or a live stamp? That all depends on your target market. Certain direct mail techniques can be applied to one campaign, however not all of them. There's no "one size fits all" so to speak with direct mail techniques.

You can get all the information you need as to how to effectively run a campaign by going to your local post office and talking to them about specific direct mail techniques relating to postage and laws. They will be able to discuss bulk rates. They could also advise you on which day is the best so mail out your materials and other rules that you may need to know. <bio>James Calvin is an avid studier of direct mail and direct response techniques.
I recently completed an NLP course and I am now a registered NLP Master Practitioner. My NLP training course, which was with an NLP training company called People Building, has enabled me to set up and practice confidently as a therapist. More importantly, I have learnt valuable life tools which I use and apply to my own life and which has enabled me to experience a refreshed perspective and more flexible ways of feeling and behaving.

I was so inspired with my NLP course that I went on to train further as a Master practitioner. However, just by completing an NLP practitioner course you will learn many things and have a good grounding in NLP, which will allow you to practice. This article discusses just a few of the techniques you will learn during your NLP training.

For anyone that communicates with anyone else (so that's everyone!) you will be taught how to communicate more effectively by learning how to have better rapport in order to quickly gain a connection with others. You will learn how to understand and read body language and how to enter the world of others to understand them better.

On my NLP training course I also learnt how to change unwanted feelings and behaviors. There are many techniques for achieving this including "Anchoring", in which you will learn to fire off positive states in others and yourself at will. Via anchoring you can also learn to remove bad feelings associated to triggers from the past.

NLP also teaches you how to understand and utilize the strategies that we each run. Human beings have strategies for everything they do from getting out of bed, to shopping in the supermarket. On an NLP course, you will learn to design and install strategies for yourself and others to rapidly achieve your desired results. As a therapist this often involves understanding how a client runs a strategy for anxiety or stress. In a different setting, such as sales, NLP can teach you how to Illicit someone's buying strategy or utilize a persons eye movements so that you can understand the strategies they use, and customize your sales techniques for each individual.

NLP has many informal techniques for change, which involve the artful use of language. Examples include utilizing questioning techniques that help a person identify their objectives and learning language patterns that create change in a person's internal representation. In addition, NLP teaches you how to use language to create trance in others (Milton Model), use your language to get more specificity and deeper meaning within your conversation (Meta Model) and how to influence and negotiate with ease and power. Through the art of conversation, (NLP style!) you can enable others to become solution focused. <bio>"Welcome to People Building, a self development company dedicated to inspiring growth, progression and better results in your life.
"Freedom from Smoking the NLP Way", is a quit smoking manual jammed packed with effective techniques for helping you to take the decision to stop smoking and then stick to it. It is written by therapists, who regularly use NLP and Hypnotherapy techniques to help all types of smokers stop smoking with easy and naturally (without the use of medication or NRT). If you would like to know more about whether purchasing this stop smoking e-book, is the right option for you, this article discusses five ways in which this stop smoking e-book works.

1. This give up smoking e-book, is a step-by step practical guide to stopping smoking. This means that you are required to take action at regular stages throughout the book and complete exercises and tasks. The result is that you will face up to the emotional, habitual and attachment aspects of your smoking behaviour in manageable chunks and also in a certain order so that by the time you are ready to have your last cigarette, it wont seem like "giving up" anything, but a release from a dirty habit that you no longer want anything to do with.

2. The quit smoking manual is written using a language style that utilises NLP "clean language' techniques. What this means is that each sentence and paragraph of the book is written in a style to promote and empower you to stop smoking. You will also learn to use these language techniques yourself to help you change your beliefs about yourself as a smoker into a non-smoker. Techniques such as these are also very valuable to use in everyday life, so you are not just stopping smoking but developing yourself above and beyond that old habit.

3. Many of the NLP and Hypnotherapy based techniques used in the book, help to make changes in the unconscious part of your mind. This is the part believed to be responsible for the maintenance of your smoking habit. Obviously, nicotine patches or willpower alone cannot work with the unconscious mind in this way.

4. This stop smoking e-book teaches you techniques to beat cravings and to eliminate old smoking habit associations such as having a cigarette in certain situations, with certain people or at certain times of the day. Using specific NLP techniques you will break these links in order to free yourself from the urge to smoke.

5. The book is value for money, in that it brings together the techniques used by skilled smoking cessation NLP and Hypnotherapists, for less then a packet of cigarettes. In fact, the authors of the book are so certain that those who follow each step will stop smoking that a full money back guarantee is offered.

To find out more about this must have smoking e-book or to purchase it for yourself or someone you know who wants to stop smoking, please visit http://www.peoplebuilding.co.uk/freebies.htm <bio>Welcome to People Building, a self development company dedicated to inspiring growth, progression and better results in your life.
There are no firmly established fruit dehydration techniques because the variables change from case to case. This article will go over some basic guidelines for dehydrating your fruits. The temperatures and cook times will very from oven to oven. Follow these basic guidelines but start with a small amount of fruit at first. Starting out with a small amount of fruit will help you test out what techniques work best for you.

Solar drying is a very popular way to dry fruit. Solar drying is very simple but if largely depends on the weather. In order to practice solar drying the temperature outside should be above 95 degrees. Next the humidity must be very low. When you have these two factors in your favor you can dry your fruit outside.

Drying fruit in a oven is a much more common technique. The temperatures I am about to give depend on many factors, like your oven power and what fruits you are drying. Remember you are not cooking the fruit but drying it. Your oven's temperature should be around 150 to 160 degrees to evaporate moisture quickly. As soon as the outside of the fruit begins to feel dry the temperature should be dropped around 20 to 30 degrees. If you do not dry the fruit properly it will burn or the outside will dry too fast, trapping the moisture inside.

Rapid dehydration is what you are aiming for. When drying fruit outside remember humid airs slows down evaporation. Also you do not want to heat the fruit, let it cool, and reheat it. Doing this will cause bacteria and fungus. If you let the fruit cool before it is completely dry, you are better off throwing it away. Drying fruit takes time and effort. Do not expect to get it right on the first time. If you have never dried fruit before I suggest trying it first because the taste does differ from fresh fruit. Drying fruits cuts down on the levels of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Fruit dehydration techniques vary so it is best to find what works best for you and stick with it. <bio>Fruit Dehydration Techniques was written by Eric Fields. http://www.acaiplus.com/index.asp?site=moneymaker23 This article may be reprinted provided no part thereof is edited in any way and this resource box is included. </bio>

As an NLP master practitioner who runs an NLP practice in Herts, I am one of the first to sing the praises of NLP as a therapy tool, as I believe it can be a really effective instrument for change work, when used in the hands of a good NLP practitioner.

However, as an occupational therapist, and having worked in mainstream NHS mental-healthcare, I also believe that NLP at times sends out a misleading vibe, which cannot be said of some of the more traditional therapies. By this I mean that NLP can give the impression of being this magical therapy that will cure people in minutes, when years of psychotherapy, counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy etc. has had little or no effect.

The result of this misconception about NLP, is that clients can turn up for a consultation at NLP Herts, expecting the therapist to wave her magic wand, with little or no effort on their part. Like all therapies, NLP relies heavily on the client's commitment and motivation to want to change.

A good therapist or NLP practitioner will want evidence of this commitment, in terms of the client being willing to engage fully in the process, particularly spending initial therapy sessions learning the fundamental principles of NLP such as the major frames, the communication model and presuppositions.

It is crucial for the client to 'buy into' these principles such as the frame 'being at cause' and to fully understand the impact of the way they filter life experiences on their state and behaviour, before any of the 'magic' can begin.

Unlike other therapies, NLP does have specific techniques such as the Fast Phobia Cure, Swish, Change Personal History and Parts Integration that are rather glamorous. In my opinion, these techniques do work very well, only always when they are supplemented by the more mundane psycho-educational work.

I recently had a highly agitated client turn up for a therapy consultation expecting that I could 'do something' immediately to help him feel better. This client had experience of other more traditional therapies and my hunch is that he would not of expected the same of his psychotherapist!

NLP is not about a therapist doing a technique on a client that will solve all their problems in an instant. It is a highly effective therapy that can lead to new options in thinking and behaviour when the client works alongside the therapist. Like other therapies such as CBT, NLP strategies and any new positive behavioural and emotional habits require practice and hard work by the client.

So, if your looking for a quick fix, NLP isn't it! And any practitioner that tells you otherwise is probably after your money. Don't let this put you off seeking NLP. It is very effective and if you want change in your life and are prepared to work towards it with the therapists support, you will have change. NLP is available at NLP Herts.

Karen Hastings is an NLP Master Practitioner, and a senior mental health Occupational Therapist.
Communication is often touted as the most important aspect of sales training, but the most important thing about sales training is whether or not it brings about results. Why is it that when you simply repeat your requests in memo after memo or yell what you need changed, the change in sales training that you are hoping for doesn't come about? Because what is going to happen if they don't implement the new training procedure? Another memo? Another yelling session? For most, this is not enough motivation to make a change, especially a change that they are not inspired to absorb.

A child does not stop repeating bad behaviors and adopt new ones because her mother is disappointed in her. She stops because she quickly learns that there are repercussions for her actions. In sales training, an effective tool that is often downplayed is the idea of consequences. You can effectively communicate the sales training techniques, share this effectively communicated sales training softly or loudly, repeatedly in memos and meetings and trainings, but still not have the desired outcome.

The problem comes in when you don't follow through. For example, you have spent a great deal of time encouraging them to learn the sales training techniques that you've designed because, ultimately, it will make their jobs easier and more fluid. However, learning these new techniques may be more difficult or time consuming than they may have thought and, for them, their job is not made easier with this new responsibility. You may have communicated quite efficiently to your employees that you would suspend anyone who wasn't implementing the new sales techniques by a certain date, but that date came and passed without suspensions despite the fact that many were still using the old ways. This may be due to an overwhelming work load or an inability to do the actually suspending, but whatever the reason, your lack of follow through communicates to your employees that you probably won't follow through with these new sales training techniques either, so why bother?

Along with working out how you will communicate your new sales training, decide what consequences, or incentives, you will put into place. When an employee successfully learns and implements the new training, there should be a benefit or reward. When an employee does not learn the new training or does not put it to use, then, too, should there be a consequence.

These consequences should be very personal to your employee they should not be benefits or drawbacks for the company. For example, the benefit should be a monetary bonus for the individual employee instead of the airy concept that profits will soar for the company and that this will trickle down into raises for everyone. The drawback should be a suspension for the individual employee or a cut in hours rather than the general threat of bankruptcy for the company =96 or even the threat of layoffs in general. Just like sales to the customers, the way to sell your new sales training techniques to your employees is to make it personal.

Simply put, repetition or angry tirades do not back up effectively communicated sales training strategies. Instead, put your time and energy into creating and backing up consequences for jobs well done (or not done). Plan casual meetings during the a work day to get input on how things are going, to see if anyone has questions, concerns, or needs help. In this way, you will create an environment of trust and a foundation of follow through that will not only help you implement your current new sales training ideas but future ones as well. <bio>Jeff Blackwell is the founder of http://SalesPractice.com a vibrant online sales training community that offers sales and marketing professionals free access to a comprehensive range of high quality sales training resources.
If you take a look around the web, you'll quickly find that there are many different massage techniques that you can learn and do. Why there are different techniques and what difference really does it make for you to get one massage instead of another? Although it may sound confusing when you just want someone to give you a massage to get rid of the tension that you feel, these different massage techniques all have their own benefits to your body. Each offers something that's a bit more unique than the next.

For example, consider acupressure. This type of massage is one that has been used for hundreds of years, dating well back into ancient Chinese medicines. Pressure is applied to the areas of your body that are causing blockage of the blood flow, or life blood, of the body. The Qi, as it is called, is said to be blocked from flowing through the body which then causes ailments. By restoring this flow, it improves your overall health and well being.

In other types of massage techniques, the goal is different. Some will stimulate healing in the muscle groups so as to improve the recovery time after a long workout. Others will improve your immune system, aid in muscle growth and still others are helpful for other reasons. Each offers something different than the last.

When it comes to choosing the right massage techniques you'll want to talk with your massage provider to find out what they recommend for you. You may also have specific preferences for some type of massage. You may not like the pressure of a deep tissue massage, for example. Talk to the person giving you your massage. Find out what they believe is the right massage technique for your needs and your desires so as to provide you with the amount of relaxing you need. <bio>Jenny Ambrose has worked for many years as a masseuse and has written amazing articles on massage and its considerable benefit for our health and well being.
There are certain steps that a bodybuilder must follow when doing weight training. These techniques almost always include improved form to make the exercising harder as opposed to easier.

There are many different bodybuilding techniques can you can use to improve your physique. These include pyramids, negatives, drop sets, twenty-ones, giant steps, partial reps, and forced reps. These are all wonderful techniques to be used according to your requirements.

Using the technique of constant tension without reaching the locking point is very effective in some exercises. Full contraction plus full range stretch is important, which means the bodybuilder must perform every rep of every exercise at the full range of motion.

A bodybuilding technique that enables the bodybuilder to thoroughly work out a single muscle group is called the giant set. The giant set consists of three different exercises performed successively, focusing on a specific muscle. This can be done for every muscle but one must use it sparingly on the back.

Drop sets are a good way to round off a workout for specific muscles. They give you a pumped-up feeling in the muscles and consume the last bit of energy left in the muscles.

Twenty-ones is a technique that works every area of the muscle as opposed to a single range.

Another good technique is constantly thinking "maintain tension," while you intentionally increase the tension on the muscles while doing the rep.

Other bodybuilding technique that you can use super sets that are good for exercising a particular range of muscles, completely exhausting the muscle fibers, and working two separate groups of muscle.

Slowing down with your reps can also help. Slow repetition is often more effective repetition, because this small change in technique can help improve form as well as boost muscular development.

You can employ any one of the many bodybuilding techniques. You need to vary your technique frequently so that your muscles do not get used to a particular exercise. <bio>For more on bodybuilding visit http://www.informationattendant.com/ where you can also find RSS feeds for syndication. </bio>

Language is central to everything in neuro linguistic programming. What you say and how you say it can change the way you relate to others. If there are people who you meet with at work or socially that you find difficult to get on with then you can use the techniques of NLP to get through these obstacles.

According to NLP the most important part of communication is to take responsibility for your own communication. You must make sure that you say clearly what you mean. You can then check that the words have been understood by the listener in the way you meant. It is by the same token important to be sure that you have understood what is being said to you

When you have problems with people in your communication NLP can structure things so that you can get your message over better and be a better manager too. One thing you need to consider early on is that you might be the problem rather than the other person. Neuro linguistic programming can show you where you have wrong thinking and beliefs about your own self. It can give you clear strategies to change the thinking in your brain and the words that you say.

You need to understand that the other person and build up a rapport with them. Do not make assumptions about them that you cannot validate. You need to establish an initial way of relating to each other. You will then be able to see what the other person's standpoint is and how they think. You can then look at building on this rapport with clear and decisive communication -- and this works both ways.

Practice makes perfect and you need to use NLP review techniques to get better over time at communication. You will find that some methods work very well for you and others will simply not fit in with your character and style. The important thing is not to get so lost in all the NLP details that you forget to communicate.

Understanding where others are coming from

You need to acknowledge the worlds people come from. They will have different education, upbringing and cultural backgrounds. They will also have grown up in different environments. So it is no wonder that you need to work at your communication. You also have your own background that comes with all its own idiosyncrasies.

NLP uses tools and patterns of language to help you get through all the differences and misunderstandings. When you communicate you are not only speaking and hearing words. You use all your senses to give and hear what you are saying. So you have visual information as well as auditory input to take in. You can use NLP to do a better job of filtering the mixture of messages. Now you can also model your own speech and output on people who have better communication skills. You can use borrowed techniques to improve your own communication.<bio>John Taylor is a Master NLP Practitioner, he writes extensively on the topic of Neuro Linguistic Programming on his "Talk About NLP" blog and in his "NLP in 30 Days</bio>

If you are interested in learning how to airbrush, you can start creating some beautiful art and you can stop just admiring the artwork of others. You might think that you have to pay for expensive classes that will teach you the skills you need, but that is not the only way to achieve the skills and techniques you are looking to learn. Through the internet and electronic books, you might find that you can get a lot of really great instruction.

There is something to be said about traditional classroom environments, but when it comes to artwork, the classroom environment is not the only way to learn. In fact, many people find that when they want to learn how to airbrush, the classroom setting is actually very stifling and doesn't allow their skills and techniques to evolve naturally. If you are one of these people, you might find that learning online or through resources that can be found online works best for you. When you learn through these programs, you are able to move at your own pace, integrate the techniques you want to implement, and disregard others at times. Basically, you can learn at your own speed and go over the skills you have a hard time with over and over again until you get it.

Airbrushing is a very popular art form and can be used in a variety of ways. You can paint cars, trucks, motorcycles, motorcycle helmets, windows, walls, nails, clothing, and more. You can obtain the skills just about anywhere, but you have to find out which methods work best for you. Not only do you need to learn the techniques and how to use the equipment, you need to learn what paint products you should use on each surface. Depending on the surface you are working with, you may need to change the products, the consistency of the products, or your application of them. This is often something that takes a lot of time and practice, but you can find help in relation to these things as well.

If you have taken courses and have read books and you still are not where you wanted to be, you can still learn how to airbrush. Don't give up, because if you are passionate about this art form you can learn to do it well. You can learn all of the best techniques without going broke going to classes or dealing with instructors that cramp your personal style.

If you aren't sure where you can receive such instruction, you may want to visit the http://www.airbrushing-made-easy.com website, as it features a lot of good instruction as well as a very useful e-book. Their instruction is not based on textbook answers about how to blend colors, mask, or apply multiple layers of paint, it is based on their personal experience of what works and what does not. Even better, they can help answer questions about supplies, airbrushing machines, and more. <bio>To learn more about http://www.airbrushing-made-easy.com tips visit us online at Airbrushing Made Easy.
Of all the driving mistakes committed on our roads, incorrect signaling and changing lanes incorrectly are one of the most common. If you ask drivers what they most dislike about other drivers, nine times out of ten you would hear the response "drivers not changing lanes properly". Making mistakes when changing lanes and signaling can often result in serious or even fatal injury. For people serious about learning defensive driving, lane change techniques are a vital skill to learn.

SIGNALING - GET INTO GOOD HABITS

It is not always a legal requirement to signal when driving. In some states, you are only required to signal if your change in movement is likely to affect drivers around you. For example, when driving down a deserted freeway at 4.00 am with no other drivers for miles, it may not be necessary for you to signal a turn. Having said that, it is wise to "always" signal turns and lane changes. From a defensive driving standpoint, if you signal on every occasion, no matter what the circumstances, you create a habit which kicks in on autopilot, helping to keep you safe and accident-free.

The important point about signaling is to ensure you are sending clear information. Take care to signal at just the right moment. Signaling too soon or too late causes other drivers confusion about your intentions. For example, oncoming drivers can interpret your signal to mean you want to turn later or sooner than you really intend.

Some drivers deliberately do not use turn signals, believing that by forecasting a lane change other drivers will counter their move by closing their "gap" in the lane. Although this does happen, fortunately it only occurs in the minority of cases. Most drivers WILL make a space for you if they know you want to switch lanes.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING LANE CHANGE TECHNIQUES

Learn and developing these defensive driving skills for correctly changing lanes will go a long way towards ensuring you remain safe and accident-free on the roads.

Scan the road ahead and plan in advance. Before changing lanes, scanning the road ahead and checking what other drivers are doing is vitally important. Things to watch out for include pedestrians about to step on to the road, other vehicles reducing speed, and drivers about to merge across your lane. Keeping an eye on the brake lights of vehicles in front of you is also a good indicator of trouble ahead. Cars beginning to slow down will usually hit their brakes giving a vital warning to alert drivers behind.

Monitor the rear vision mirror. The rearview mirror gives a much wider view than the one provided by your side mirrors. The rearview mirror should be checked with a quick glance, simultaneously keeping your main focus on the road ahead. Things to watch out for when glancing in your rearview mirror include traffic coming up faster than you are driving. Also keep your eyes peeled for vehicles signaling to change lanes behind you who might be increasing speed to pass your vehicle.

Always signal your intentions. Communicating with other drivers is the most important part of defensive driving. Signaling is done to communicate to other drivers what you are about to do. By signaling to other drivers, you give them the chance to slow down and allow your lane change to be made safely. For example, drivers in front of you who is planning a maneuver may stay put if they see your signal. It always wise to remember that people often make unexpected moves. Don't take anything for granted and get into the habit of anticipating the worst!

Don't forget your blind spot. Turn your head and take a quick glance over your shoulder to ensure there is no other driver in the lane beside you. If you do see a vehicle there, stay in your own lane until the vehicle has gone past.

Recheck ahead=85.(again) before changing lanes. Immediately before turning the steering wheel to navigate your lane change, check once again to make no driver is slowing down or straying into your path. Move gradually into your lane change with only a slight adjustment of the steering wheel. If it is not possible to change lanes when you check the blind spot, cancel the maneuver and prepare to begin all over again.

Don't change lanes at intersections. Make sure you plan your lane changes either before and after intersections where side roads, streets or crossroads meet the road you are using.

When it comes to defensive driving, lane change techniques and signaling correctly are important skills to learn and implement into your daily driving. Make sure these are skills YOU learn and become familiar with, your life may depend on it! <bio>Jean Littman is co-owner of http://www.defensivedriversense.com which provides quality resources on defensive driving lane change techniques, advanced driving and traffic safety programs. </bio>

There are many reasons why your website's position in the search engine results will vary. One day your website could be in the top 10 for a particular key phrase, and the next day you're not on the first page. Changes to a website's rankings are constantly occurring because changes on the Internet are constantly occurring. But, we can narrow the cause of the change down to four different sources: your website has changed, your competitor's websites have changes, Google has made an update in the algorithm it uses to determine search results, or you or a competitor got busted using black hat SEO techniques.

Your Website Changes

In order to stay current, many website are updated on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis. The small changes that are made to the page can have an effect on your page's keyword density, and this could in turn have an effect on your rankings for any particular keyword. Minor website updates should not influence your positioning very much. But, if the changes are drastic, or your website had previously been fine tuned by a search engine optimization specialist, any sort of change will certainly affect your rankings.

Aside from on-page optimization, another factor that affects your website's ranking is the number of other websites that link to you (backlinks). If a large and reputable website (.org, .edu, and .gov especially) add or remove a link to your website, this could have a significant effect on your ranking =96 especially if you don't have very many backlinks to begin with. Another explanation for ranking changes could occur due to server downtime. If a robot tries to crawl your website and your server is down, your website will probably be temporarily dropped from the search results.

Changes to your own website should affect your search engine rankings the least of these four explanations, unless of course you unleash a search engine specialist to re-vamp your website, then you should notice a significant increase within a short period of time.

Changes in Google's Algorithms

Yes, I am referring to Google to generalize the whole search engine market, but lets face it, not only do most website get most of their traffic from Google, but the term "Googling" has become synonymous with web search. In simpler terms, the algorithm is a mathematical points system which determines your website's placement in the search engine results. Nobody knows exactly how Google determines search results, but us search engine optimization specialists have identified approximately 600 factors that affect rankings. A change in the algorithm will certainly affect your website's ranking, but the change probably won't be too drastic. Google would not make a significant change to the algorithm because it would probably knock the world out of orbit. Well, probably not, but a big change would have significant repercussions for both Internet websites and users. Therefore, Google prefers to merely fine tune this algorithm to ensure against drastic changes.

Your Competitor's Websites Change

Depending on your industry or geographic reach, your website could be competing against several dozen to several thousand other websites - all fighting for position with certain keywords or phrases. This fact alone makes it far more likely that changes in your competitor's websites will effect the search engine results than changes to your website alone. Every website owner out there wants to be listed on the first page or make the top 10 results for particular keywords or phrases. The problem is that there is only room for ten websites, and you may be positioning for a popular key phrase. Not all, but some of your competitors are updating their website and adding new pages on a regular basis. These additions add more competition to the search engine race and make it more difficult for you to achieve your top 10 position.

Not only are new and existing competitors making changes to their website, but they also could be pursuing link building campaigns or employing the skills of a search engine optimization specialist. By optimizing a website for certain keywords and phrases, or acquiring new backlinks to the website, a significant improvement in the website's ranking in the search results can occur. Changes in your competitor's websites will probably explain most of the fluctuation of your position in the search results.

Black Hat Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Techniques

Website owners should not have the ability to manipulate the search engines results. The fact that SEO specialists have the ability to do so violates the integrity of the search results. But, the fact of the matter is, we have rough (but not exact) ideas of how Google's algorithm works. Most SEO specialists use techniques that are referred to as "White Hat". These techniques are more natural, and while Google doesn't like the search results to be manipulated, white hat techniques are not frowned upon.

There is another breed of SEO specialists who use "Black Hat" techniques =96 these are little tricks that at one time were considered acceptable forms of SEO, but are now frowned upon by the search engines, and by employing them, the website is very obviously trying to game the search results. Generally, SEO specialists who guarantee quick results employ black hat techniques to the detriment of your long-term positioning. These techniques can work great at first, but if you get caught your website will be significantly penalized =96 forever. Black Hat SEO is like breaking the law, and once you have a criminal record it affects you for the rest of your life.

Conclusion

I've outlined the major reasons for changes in search engine results, but sometimes the changes really can't be explained. These changes are referred to as hiccups. After a ranking change, it's best to sometimes just wait it out =96 within a week or two your website may return to its original position. So, the best thing to do when you notice a change is not to over-react. As long as your website has been professionally optimized for the proper keywords and phrases, and possesses a large and ever growing list of backlinks, you should stay on top. <bio>Paul Coulter owns and operates a Toronto Website Design company that specializes in search engine optimization (SEO). http://www.ekonline.com/ </bio>
