<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Mauritius is a quiet and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tropical+nation" rel="tag">tropical nation</a> found in Western India. It is also nearby Madagascar, at the eastern part of it, so you can be sure of a trip loaded with natural and environmental pleasures. This makes Mauritius the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/perfect+getaway" rel="tag">perfect getaway</a> for environmentalists as you will see nature at its rawest form here in Mauritius. <br /><br /> 1.) Port Louis <br /><br /> Port Louis is perhaps the most industrialized place in the country. It is found in the Island of Mauritius, one of the four major islands that compose Mauritius. In Port Louis, you get to do a lot of things such as buying local goods and acquainting yourself with the local Mauritius culture. <br /><br /> 2.) <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hindu+temple" rel="tag">Hindu Temple</a> <br /><br /> The Hindu Temple in Mauritius is esteemed not only for its <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/architectural+grandeur" rel="tag">architectural grandeur</a> but also for the colors with which it is painted. Vivid colors of yellow and red adorn the temple but not compromising the holiness of the place. The very place where the Hindu Temple is located is also to be noted =96 truly a site to behold. <br /><br /> 3.) Waterfalls in Mauritius <br /><br /> You can be sure that the waterfalls in Mauritius are untouched by pollution and human dirt. What's good about the many waterfalls in the country is that they're well protected. This enables you a chance to swim with some of the ocean's finest and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/harmless+creatures" rel="tag">harmless creatures</a>. <br /><br /> 4.) Moonscaped valleys and mountains <br /><br /> Mauritius will not be Mauritius without the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lush+valleys" rel="tag">lush valleys</a> and mountains that define the land. Mauritius is actually full of these land forms which are shaped in such ideal and perfectly curved form. Make sure that you get to take a time off and relax in one of the stunningly elegant valleys and mountains of Mauritius. <br /><br /> 5.) <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/champ+de+mars" rel="tag">Champ de Mars</a> <br /><br /> Champ de Mars used to be a place relatively unknown to a tourist visiting Mauritius. Now, however, it has been transformed into a racecourse. The unique identity of Champ de Mars is truly noticeable as most tourist destinations in Mauritius are nature-themed, and Champ de Mars also brings a refreshingly new quality to Mauritius. <br /><br /> 6.) Mahebourg <br /><br /> If you want to go fishing in Mauritius, you can well go to any nearby port. If you want to have the best fishing experience, however, the only place for you is Mahebourg. In here are beautifully made ports that are good places for fishing, and also in Mahebourg is the Grand Port where fishing centers can be found. <br /><br /> 7.) Naval Museum <br /><br /> Truly an original, the Naval Museum will give you that one-of-a-kind experience. The edge of Naval Museum over the other conventional museums is that it gives you that interactivity. Here, you can practically feel as if you are a part of the museum. <br /><br /> 8.) Pamplemousses Garden <br /><br /> This garden is exceptional. Only in here can you find some of the rarest and most exotic plant species. Most of them can only be found in Mauritius, and if you keep a garden or want to just look around and marvel at the beauty of Mauritius's plant life, go to Pamplemousses Garden. <br /><br /> 9.) Natural reserves and wildlife parks <br /><br /> A huge portion of Mauritius's land area is dedicated to the preservation of its wildlife species. It is where you can get to see and interact with rare and beautiful animals. Aviaries are also found in Mauritius, and the abundance of birds in the country can be witnessed by you in these aviaries. <br /><br /> 10.) Popular beaches <br /><br /> Of course, a trip to Mauritius cannot possibly be complete without a visit to the local beaches around the area. You will find the beaches here to be clean and sanitary, and you can actually swim here, not like other beaches whose purpose is not attained. In Mauritius, bathing and swimming is absolutely safe and fun. <bio>Jonathan Williams is the travel writer for Destination Guide TV - the place to share travel videos. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Champ Bailey was born on June 22, 1978 in Folkston, Georgia. Although most people know him by the name "Champ" his real name is actually Roland. His mother gave him the nickname early on in life thanks to his many athletic achievements. It is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/safe+to+say" rel="tag">safe to say</a> that she was dead on when thinking that Bailey would be a great athlete in one sport or the next. Since his early playing days he has always been one of the best players on the field. <br /><br /> After a successful high school career Bailey went on to play at the University of Georgia. While playing for Georgia he became known as one of the top defensive players in the entire country. Opposing teams rarely had the chance to throw the ball on Bailey. And if they did it usually ended up as an interception. <br /><br /> In the 1999 NFL Draft the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/washington+redskins" rel="tag">Washington Redskins</a> selected Bailey with the seventh pick in the first round. Although many people felt that this was a bad choice, the Redskins were in much need of an outstanding cover corner. <br /><br /> Before the 2004 season got underway, Bailey was traded to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/denver+broncos" rel="tag">Denver Broncos</a>. This trade was imminent, and both parties saw it coming long before the trade actually took place. After the trade Bailey signed a seven year contract worth approximately $63 million. <br /><br /> Bailey has been named to the All Pro Team on three occasions, and has also made the Pro Bowl team for the last seven seasons. This has solidified him as quite possibly the best cornerback in the league. <br /><br /> With a high level of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/athleticism" rel="tag">athleticism</a> and a good feel for the game, Champ Bailey has always been a great player. It is safe to say that he still has several more great seasons left in the tank. As long as the Broncos have him playing on the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/defensive+side" rel="tag">defensive side</a> of the ball they have a good chance of winning! <bio>Bob writes for <a href="http://www.AllPorZone.com" >http://www.AllPorZone.com</a> and <a href="http://www.2GoAllOut.com" >http://www.2GoAllOut.com</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ In June and July of 2003, two unique robot rovers were launched by NASA bound for Mars. The goal of NASA was to collect informations about our neighbour planet, the red planet called Mars. Previous expeditions of the last nearly 30 years have given us so much informations about Mars, but they have been fleeting visits and not enough data had been collected. But this mission would be different. The two rovers were expected to last 90 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/martian+days" rel="tag">Martian days</a> at best, but even after more than 1000 Martian days on, they were still going strong. <br /><br /> The two rovers were nicknamed Spirit and Opportunity. They weighed about 180 kg each, that is about 400 lbs in American terms. They carried batteries, communication equipment, and solar panels. The rovers used artificial intelligence that even allowed them to refuse to do what their controller told them, if they felt an action would be dangerous. Because of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/conservative+nature" rel="tag">conservative nature</a> of their use, they lasted more than 10 times the period originally planned and have travelled a distance of more than 10 miles across the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/martian+surface" rel="tag">Martian surface</a>. <br /><br /> The first one to make it to the surface of Mars was the rover nicknamed Spirit. Spirit landed on Mars January 4th, 2004 in a crater a mere 10km from the target. Spirit made many important discoveries. From its start in the crater, it has discovered many rocks of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/volcanic+origin" rel="tag">volcanic origin</a> and the action of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/subsurface+water" rel="tag">subsurface water</a> on these rocks. Spirit discovered patches of soil with a high <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/salt+content" rel="tag">salt content</a> that tends to be caused by the former presence of water. It discovered also one particularly interesting rock, nicknamed Humphrey, a volcanic-like rock formed possibly by magma. It had brightly coloured, mineralized parts inside, that would most likely be caused by water finding its way into it, before or sometime after the rock was formed. This finding alone has removed doubts from many scientists whether water existed or not on Mars at some time in the past. <br /><br /> Not only has Spirit helped us understand more on the geological and physical aspects of Mars: Spirit took the first picture of Earth from the surface of another planet. It has also taken night-time pictures of the transit of the moons and even Mercury across the sun. Spirit was lucky enough to catch a lunar eclipse of the Mars' moon Phobos as it disappeared into the shadow of Mars. <br /><br /> The second rover to make it to the surface of Mars was Opportunity. It landed 21 days after Spirit on January 25th, 2004. It landed on the opposite side of the planet in a crater in the middle of a plain. Opportunity worked extensively in craters on rocks presumably formed by sulphite rich sands from evaporated lakes and that had been pressed and formed by the elements, wind, pressure, and water. This again was used by scientists as proof that water existed on Mars in ancient times. <br /><br /> The two rovers have sent back hundreds of thousands of images in both grey-scale and colour of the Martian surface. The beautiful panoramic shots can take your breath way. Equipped with a geological kit and motorized rock tools, they were able to look beneath the surface to discover more than previously thought imaginable. <br /><br /> All of these new discoveries have increased our knowledge while at the same time increasing the amount of questions we have about Mars. Why did the water disappear? Was there life on Mars? Could humans live on Mars? As these little rovers keep working, maybe we will even have more questions answered in the near future. Who knows what lies beyond the next rock outcropping? <bio>Written by Simone Poleggi. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Every last one of us has a different kind of pick-me-up. It could be a walk in the park. It could be an outing with the family. It could even be the weekly get-together to play poker with your buddies. <br /><br /> In my opinion, a once a week <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/poker+game" rel="tag">poker game</a> can really refresh the harrowed employee. Sure, if you play badly, you may end up losing a lot of money. But that is only if you play badly. The smart <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/poker+player" rel="tag">poker player</a> recognizes the role of luck and only puts forward an amount that he can afford to lose. <br /><br /> Every seasoned poker player is aware of what the odds are even before he starts playing. How much is he willing to risk? That is a question that he must ask himself. Plunging headlong into a poker game with a bunch of professionals without having an action plan is not advisable. That would be treading dangerous ground. It is easy to call poker a game of luck, and nothing else. Yes, luck is a factor in this card game. If you are dealt bad <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cards" rel="tag">cards</a>, you might lose all hopes of winning the game at the very outset. Then again, a poker <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/champ" rel="tag">champ</a> trains himself to play better than the others even with his bad cards. <br /><br /> Poker is a game of strategy. You have to plan ahead. In that sense it is like chess. However, poker also requires a decent bit of acting. You have to fool your opponents into a sense of false security. Make them feel like they are in charge of the game even while you hold the royal flush. The sense of suspense in a poker game is one of the factors that decide the winner. If you are cool and calculating in the times of most stress, you could well be the one to walk off with the winnings. <br /><br /> When it comes to card games, poker is one of the most popular. It does give your mind a thorough workout by literally giving it a run for your money. Being a poker champ, therefore, does not come easy. To become a poker champ, you need to practice a great deal. Make sure you thoroughly study the rules before you challenge anyone to a serious game. Try playing some <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/online+poker" rel="tag">online poker</a> games to get a feel of playing against real opponents. Initially you might find yourself losing more often than you would like. But with some practice, you might just end up as the poker pro. <bio>Find out about a gambling host at <a href="http://www.hostingcoupons.org/gambling-web-hosting/" >http://www.hostingcoupons.org/gambling-web-hosting/</a> and about poker online at <a href="http://www.reviewpokerrooms.com/" >http://www.reviewpokerrooms.com/</a> Also find out about poker web hosts at <a href="http://www.hostingcoupons.org/poker-web-hosts/" >http://www.hostingcoupons.org/poker-web-hosts/</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ When I left my husband, I was so wounded and confused that I didn't have much idea who I was or what marriage was really about. So the first "nice" man who paid attention to me, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/complimented" rel="tag">complimented</a> me, asked me out =96 and wanted to marry me, pretty much got me. So I had a six month marriage and found out a) I didn't know much about me =96 but was <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/well+on+my+way" rel="tag">well on my way</a> to learning and b) I certainly didn't know what it took to make a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marriage+work" rel="tag">marriage work</a> =96 and was well on my way to learning. <br /><br /> So when is it right to start <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dating" rel="tag">dating</a> after divorce? It's up to you. Here are some questions to ask yourself to determine whether you are really ready: <br /><br /> 1. Can I leave my children and not feel guilty? Are you aware that taking care of yourself keeps your kids from feeling responsible for you as they grow up? <br /><br /> 2. Have I begun to understand what went wrong with my marriage? Are you looking? <br /><br /> 3. Am I willing to take responsibility for my part in the marriage? Are you still seeing it as all his fault? <br /><br /> 4. Do I love myself? Do you need to date so someone else can let you know you are OK? <br /><br /> 5. Have I learned to enjoy my own company? Are you dating so you don't have to be alone with yourself? <br /><br /> 6. Do I have great support while I go on this new adventure with my new self? If you have honest support =96 a friend, a Life Coach, a therapist =96 someone who isn't afraid to tell you what they see is true for you. <br /><br /> And there are no mistakes that you can make if you remember that Life Is a School so don't be afraid. It all works out OK. <bio>Maia played key roles for author, John Gray and "Men Are from Mars". Coached, trained, supported 500 speakers to lecture on Mars Venus. <content:encoded><![CDATA[A Makeover For <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/greenies" rel="tag">Greenies</a>(r) Treats <br /><br /> Months after a series of lawsuits and media attention alleged their treat sometimes sickened or killed <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dogs" rel="tag">dogs</a>, the makers of Greenies(r), the top-seller for dogs in the US, are introducing a new easier-to-chew and digest formula. <br /><br /> Sandamp;M NuTech, a Kansas City, MO-based company contends the new formula predates the negative publicity, but admits it hopes to win back timid pet owners. <br /><br /> Dismissing the hazards attributed to the original Greenies(r) as, and<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/quot" rel="tag">quot</a>;perception issues, andquot; Kristy Vetter, the consumer care strategy coordinator for Sandamp;M NuTec explains, andquot; We think this will give pet owners confidence about what they're giving their dogs.andquot; <br /><br /> Earlier in 2006, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cnn" rel="tag">CNN</a> and newspapers began reporting stories from pet owners asserting that undigested Greenies(r) had caused throat and intestinal blockages that required surgery and were, at times, fatal. In February, CNN estimated that thirteen dogs had died. A class-action suit against Sandamp;MN NuTec is currently pending in federal court in Missouri. <br /><br /> Company officials maintain the treats are safe, andquot;when used as directed.andquot; They note that the treats are sold in a variety of sizes, and pet owners must be careful to select the appropriate size and be sure that the dogs adequately chew the treats. <br /><br /> Greenies(r) are hard, dark green treats shaped like a bone on one end, and a toothbrush on the other. They are marketed as bad breath and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/periodontal+disease" rel="tag">periodontal disease</a> banishers, and a substitute for teeth brushing. <br /><br /> They have been a big hit with consumers, topping sales of 315 million in 2005. This amounts to 20% of the U.S. dog treat market, per the market research firm <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/euromonitor+international" rel="tag">Euromonitor International</a>. The treats are also sold in at least 50 other countries. <br /><br /> The new version boasts a chewier texture and andquot;break pointsandquot; designed to assist dogs in gnawing the treats into smaller, easier-to-swallow pieces. The ingredients have also been modified to allow for easier digestion. <br /><br /> Even while under legal and media scrutiny, Mars, Inc. agreed to purchase Sandamp;M NuTech in April. The financial terms of the deal went undisclosed. At the time of the sale, the privately-held Sandamp;M NuTech had 95 employees, and declined to divulge its revenue. Mars, Inc., privately held and based in McLean, Va., has 39,000 employees and revenue of $18 billion. <br /><br /> Best known as the maker of Mandamp;Ms and Snickers, Mars, Inc. is also behind the pet lines marketed as Pedigree and Whiskas. At the time of the sale, Sandamp;M NuTech refused comment as to whether the legal woes involving Greenies(r) aided in its decision to sell. <br /><br /> To date, the Mars, Inc. website directory (<a href="http://www.mars.com/Marsand#43;Directory/" >http://www.mars.com/Marsand#43;Directory/</a> Unitedand#43;States/Companyand#43;Searchand#43;Results.htm) does not list Greenies(r) as one of its business units in the US. <br /><br /> The Greenies(r) website (<a href="http://www.Greenies.com" >http://www.Greenies.com</a>) boasts testimonials from happy pet owners whose dogs love their treats. Its FAQ section proudly vaunts the chewy texture, changed shape, easy digestibility and nutritional balance of the new-improved Greenies(r). <br /><br /> As to, andquot; Why did you change Greenies(r)?andquot; the company says only, andquot; We are always looking for ways to improve all aspects of our products. This includes dental efficacy, palatability, nutritional efficacy, dog enjoyment and veterinarian and pet owner's confidence.andquot; <br /><br /> There is no specific reference to the purported hazards posed to dogs enjoying the treats. The website does, however, note the importance of purchasing the correct size for your dog, and states that the product is not recommended for dogs less than six months old and/or less than five pounds. <bio>If you enjoyed this article, visit <a href="http://http://www.secretdogconspiracy.com/?m" >http://http://www.secretdogconspiracy.com/?m</a> 0612 or check out <a href="http://secretdogconspiracy.com/sitemap-index.php/" >http://secretdogconspiracy.com/sitemap-index.php/</a> for more links to interesting dog info. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ "<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/resistance" rel="tag">Resistance</a> is thought transformed into feeling. Change the thought that creates the resistance, and there is no more resistance." <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/robert+conklin" rel="tag">Robert Conklin</a> <br /><br /> Resistance is your mind saying NO. Then your mind translates that to your body. When I feel resistance, I feel a stuck feeling in my body. It is as if the natural humming flow has congealed. Watch for that experience while you are working on changing your life. Consider it information. See if you get any ideas what it's about. <br /><br /> Three Signs of Resistance: <br /><br /> 1. Forgetting or becoming too distracted to complete that is important to you; for example, while working with a self-help book, all of a sudden you seem to forget your transformation project and find yourself watching TV or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/playing+computer+games" rel="tag">playing computer games</a> or some other distraction that takes you away from your intended goal. <br /><br /> 2. Becoming too busy to complete things that are important to you and believing you have to do something for someone else; for example, while working with your self-help book you find you are too busy to do what you thought you wanted to do in the book or you have to help a friend in their life. <br /><br /> 3. Losing interest in completing projects or following through on things that are important to you; for example, while working with your book, you seem to have lost interest in the project. <br /><br /> Any one of these signs is most likely resistance speaking. Having a support partner relationship in place helps assure that you overcome any resistance that arises. <br /><br /> As you begin to watch for it, you will likely find resistance is quite familiar. Resistance is just the opposite of willingness. You may be using resistance to give yourself a breather, however, monitor your breather and challenge yourself to go beyond it and stick to the changes that will give you the life you want. <bio>Maia played key roles for author, John Gray and "Men Are from Mars". <content:encoded><![CDATA[ When most of us think of astrology, we think about our natal sign and not much else. Do you know what some of the major influences are though, that define these <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/zodiac+signs" rel="tag">Zodiac signs</a>. <br /><br /> First and foremost is the Sun. It is the center of all life and represents a person's personality and spirit. It is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/planetary+ruler" rel="tag">planetary ruler</a> of the sign Leo <a href="http://www.babynamess.info" >http://www.babynamess.info</a> <br /><br /> The Moon, on the other hand, gives us our Soul. The Moon is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ruling+planet" rel="tag">ruling planet</a> of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/zodiac+sign+cancer" rel="tag">Zodiac sign Cancer</a>. It is very much associated with the mother and with maternal instincts. In <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chinese+astrology" rel="tag">Chinese astrology</a>, the Moon represents Yin, while the Sun represents Yang. <br /><br /> Mercury rules over Gemini and Virgo. It is the planet of the mind and of communication. In other words, it is the planet of the idea and the means to communicate the idea. The planet Venus rules over Taurus and Libra. Venus is associated with characteristics and principles of harmony and beauty. It is of course, concerned with love. It is also concerned with the pleasure we derive from personal possessions. <br /><br /> Mars is the ruling planet for the dynamic Aries, and to some astrologers, Scorpio, although modern astrologers now determine that Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio. Mars is the planet that is concerned with the things you want, and how you go about getting those things. Jupiter is associated with pleasure and enjoyment. It is the ruler of Sagittarius and is also associated with principles of growth, religion and higher education. <br /><br /> Saturn is the ruling planet of Capricorn and is associated with principles such as reality and restrictions, boundaries and rules. Saturn was traditionally the ruler of Aquarius until the discovery of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/planet+uranus" rel="tag">planet Uranus</a>. Neptune is the ruling planet of Pisces and is associated with deception, illusions, spirituality and psychic phenomena. The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/planet+pluto" rel="tag">planet Pluto</a> is the ruling planet of Scorpio and is associated with the concept of transformation. <bio><a href="http://www.barss.info" >http://www.barss.info</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Three <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/secrets" rel="tag">Secrets</a> to Getting Everything You Want Really! <br /><br /> Those of us who look at things like "getting everything you want" are usually those who don't have everything we want and know it and feel it =96 often to the point of pain. Two very painful things in my life started me on this path of trying to get a life I wanted instead of the one I had. <br /><br /> One was a really bad relationship that I lived in daily and didn't know how to do anything about and the other was a very skewed view of how I look. Those areas caused me <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tremendous+pain" rel="tag">tremendous pain</a> and I've been learning and looking at how to have what I want for over 25 years because of them. Here's what I`ve noticed. It simply comes down to three secrets. <br /><br /> The first phase involves healing. Healing means you look at all the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/relationships" rel="tag">relationships</a> and situations from your past and work on bringing them into equilibrium. For example, you can never think about your mother without a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/little+bit" rel="tag">little bit</a> of negative coming up with those thoughts. She's annoying or not as loving as you'd like or frankly critical. That has to be effecting your relationships somehow. In therapy many people look at how but that's where they seem to stop. It doesn't really matter how it happened. What really matters is that it's effecting your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/life+today" rel="tag">life today</a>. That little bit of negative may carry over to all of your relationships with women, for example. And the lucky thing is, you don't even have to know exactly how it's happening. You can just assume that any unresolved relationships or situations from the past are having some effect that you don't want in your life today. <br /><br /> The next phase or secret involves belief. This means you have to believe that what you want in your life is possible for you to have it. If I say I want a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/prosperous+life" rel="tag">prosperous life</a> but deep inside believe I can't really have it, then all the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/positive+thinking" rel="tag">positive thinking</a> in the world will not allow me to. For years I heard statements like, "if you believe it, you can have it" or "if you think the right thoughts, you can have the life you think about". All that did for me was make me feel like some kind of dope who couldn't get my thoughts in order because clearly my life was an outer reflection of the terrible thoughts I was having all the time. What to do? How can I believe what I don't believe? <br /><br /> The third and final secret is action. All the pure thought and healing in the world is not going to change your life if you take no action. If your friend tells you that you will meet the man of your dreams in a workshop as my friend told me, you have to go to the workshop as I did - and I did meet the man of my dreams. <bio>Maia played key roles for author, John Gray and "Men Are from Mars". What is their soul connection? The best answers are probably in the stars. <br /><br /> Brad Pitt Birth date: Dec 18, 1963 Birth time: 6:31 AM Birth place: Shawnee (OK) (USA) <br /><br /> Angelina Jolie Birth date: Jun 4, 1975 Birth time: 9:09 AM Birth place: Los Angeles (CA) (USA) <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/love+compatibility" rel="tag">Love Compatibility</a> for Sagittarius Brad Pitt and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gemini" rel="tag">Gemini</a> Angelina Jolie: <br /><br /> General Sun Sign Interaction The interaction of Sun in Gemini, which Angelina has, and Sun in Sagittarius, which Brad has, is one of complimentary opposites. Both are outgoing and interested about life. They are both not specially realistic and rational. <br /><br /> Brad's Sun positive Angelina's <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/uranus" rel="tag">Uranus</a> This will be most apparent in the way Brad assert his originality and independence. Developing his own unique style and a spirit of experimentation, he can encourage each other in a constant self-development process without trying to own each other in any way. <br /><br /> Brad: Moon in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/capricorn" rel="tag">Capricorn</a> As Angelina has Moon in Aries, she has a strong temperament and an emotionally impulsive nature, which often creates a tense atmosphere. Brad, who has Moon in Capricorn is far more serious and controlled. Though both like to get things done, Brad is easily hurt and becomes very reserved, whenever Angelina acts in a headstrong manner - which is often. <br /><br /> Decendant sign combination With the Descendant in Gemini, Brad is looking for a partner with whom he can have an intelligent conversation, yet who can at the same time poke fun at his tendency to take himself and his ideas too seriously. Angelina, with the Descendant in Capricorn, needs a partner who can be an example to her as far as responsibility, organisation and self-sufficiency is concerned. She thus evokes a sense of duty in Brad, whilst he would rather have a partner to cheer him up and not take things so seriously. <br /><br /> Venus Sign combination With Venus in Cancer, Angelina is possessive and vulnerable, with strong, protective instincts in regard to loved ones. Brad, with Venus in Capricorn, takes a relationship very seriously indeed, and after initial hesitation is prepared to make a long-term commitment. This can make for a secure relationship, though Angelina might wish that Brad was more emotionally expressive. <br /><br /> Mars Sign Combination Angelina, with Mars in Aries, and Brad with Mars in Capricorn make a dynamic and active pair. Brad does have a rather subdued, even inhibited, sexuality, which cannot be said of Angelina, who is spontaneous and feisty. Angelina can feel that Brad places too much restrictions on her life, and she refuses to be tamed. Brad is very absorbed in his work, and may feel that his partner wastes too much time on impulsive behaviour. <br /><br /> Mercury Sign Combination With Mercury in Gemini Angelina is bright, intelligent, communicative - and completely at home in the world of ideas. Brad, who has Mercury in Capricorn, is far more slow and considered in style. He has little use for impractical theories. He is more concerned with ideas as a means to an end, whilst Angelina sees ideas as an end in themselves. She may lack a mental sparring partner in Brad, and feel that he does not listen to her ideas. <bio>Elaine Feung is a full time astrologer working for <a href="http://horoscopes.proastro.com" >http://horoscopes.proastro.com</a> and <a href="http://www.usfreeads.com/719649-cls.html" >http://www.usfreeads.com/719649-cls.html</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[When you talk car racing most people think of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/nascar" rel="tag">NASCAR</a>--National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. It is, perhaps, the most popular sport in America. Along with NASCAR, there are three other major types of car racing in America--<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/formula+1" rel="tag">Formula 1</a>, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/champ+car" rel="tag">Champ Car</a>, and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/indy+racing+league" rel="tag">Indy Racing League</a>. Taken together, these four racing groups offer a range of competition and challenges for drivers and exciting experiences for racing fans. <br /><br /> FORMULA 1: <br /><br /> The Formula 1 race calendar starts in March and goes into October with 18 races in 18 different countries. The American race is held at the Indianapolis Speedway, with the 2006 contest occurring on July 2nd. The race covers approximately 190 miles or 73 laps on the Indy road course. <br /><br /> Formula 1 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cars" rel="tag">cars</a> have open cockpits, open wheels, and are very low to the ground. They're made with one primary goal in mind--speed. Extremely fast speeds define Formula 1 racing. <br /><br /> The chassis, which must be constricted by the racing team, are made of ultra-light materials such as carbon fiber, allowing the cars to jet down the track. They also have wings in the front and back, which are designed to keep the cars low to the ground and to help them cut down air resistance. Every aspect is dedicated to precision and speed and thus an unneeded feature like bumpers have been eliminated. The intimate cockpit is in the middle of the vehicle, giving the machine a strong center of gravity. All of these elements help make them extremely aerodynamic and fast--their speeds top 200 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mph" rel="tag">mph</a>. <br /><br /> One of the major challenges for drivers of these cars is the complex course they run. The Indianapolis track has 13 turns, including hairpins that demand a driver quickly downshift from a speed of almost 200 mph to 86 mph and then to 36 mph. Then the driver pushes the throttle up to 160 mph. All of this happens during a five-turn sequence that covers about 1/2 mile on the 2.6-mile course. Many Formula 1 races are run in city streets that become racetracks just for that event. <br /><br /> Along with the blinding speed, lightweight vehicles, and complex courses come the dangers of this sport. When a car going 200 mph loses its grip on the track, spins and nails a retaining wall, other drivers have to instantly adjust. If they don't, the results can be deadly. <br /><br /> Of the four major categories of car racing, Formula 1 is the least popular in America. Perhaps this is due to the international nature of its venues--there's only one race in America--along with the fact that the races are run every other week, unlike NASCAR that runs every week except on Easter Sunday. <br /><br /> CHAMP CAR: <br /><br /> The 16-race Champ Car World Series starts in late March and run into the middle of November. Fourteen of its races are in the U.S., Canada or Mexico, with two other contests being held in Australia and South Korea. Bridgestone is the major sponsor of Champ Car (Champ Car is the short for Championship Car). <br /><br /> Although a few of the races are run on ovals, most of the contests are held on road courses. In fact, many of the races are held on city streets that have been converted for that one weekend into a road course. Cities that set up temporary tracks include Long Beach and San Jose, CA; Houston, TX; and Denver, CO. Although some are shorter and others a bit longer, most Champ courses run about 2 miles in length. Like their Formula 1 counterparts, Champ Cars reach speeds of close to 200 mph. <br /><br /> The Champ Car raceways, for the most part, are shorter than Formula 1 tracks and also have fewer and more gradual turns. You'll find Formula 1 courses feature between 12 and 20 turns with at least one tight series of hairpins, while Champ Car tracks average approximately 9 turns, and although they certainly demand tight maneuvering, they don't offer the complex, extremely narrow angles of Formula 1. <br /><br /> Because Champ cars race on ovals along with street courses, they are heavier and have a longer wheelbase. Oval courses with their lack of turns encourage higher speeds, and these speeds put more stress on a car; thus the wheelbase on a Champ Car is sturdier but less agile than those on Formulas 1 racers. These less maneuverable wheelbases are one of the primary reasons that Champ Cars do not have to negotiate the ultra-tight street course curves that their counterparts do. <br /><br /> There is certainly a rivalry between the American based Champ Car enthusiasts and the international Formula 1 fans that focuses on which is the better circuit, has more competitive races, and the best teams. In looking at each type of car, it's hard to tell the difference between them. They are very similar but each has unique characteristics. <br /><br /> Formula 1 race cars are powered by gasoline and are not turbocharged, whereas Champs burn methanol and utilize the turbo. Champ Cars also use non-grooved tires, and they are allowed to incorporate a set of softer compound wheels, providing them with an edge over other cars, making the outcome of the race less predictable. <br /><br /> Some race fans prefer Champ Car to Formula 1 due to the fact that lead changes are more achievable in the former and also because the less stringent tire rules allow for creativity that can yield excitement and positive results on the track. <br /><br /> INDY RACING LEAGUE: <br /><br /> The Indy Racing League (IRL) sponsors races primarily on oval tracks with the centerpiece being the Indianapolis 500, which is held every year on Memorial Day weekend at the Indianapolis Speedway. The schedule, which has the fewest races of the four major racing organizations, produces 14 events. The IRL season kicks off in late March and runs until early September. The only road course for this series in 2006 is the Infineon in Sonoma, CA and the only race held outside of the U.S. occurs at Twin Ring Motegi, Japan. <br /><br /> The IRL was founded in 1996 and, since that time, has gone through various growing pains. Like the Champ Car World Series, its cars are open wheel racers with a central cockpit. At first the IRL had difficulty attracting top drivers; however, as the organization gained credence, it was able to attract some competitive drivers. <br /><br /> In 2007, as part of an environmentally friendly policy, all IRL cars will be running on ethanol. Indy circuit cars have tires that are similar to those used on Formula 1 cars, while their agility and weight are akin to that of the Champ racers. <br /><br /> Of the four racing groups, the IRL may be the weakest when it comes to financial stability and name recognition. Many fans, sports writers, and officials who are interested in open wheel racing have called for the unification of IRL and Champ Cars, making one organization with the very best drivers and most competitive races. Many feel that American Indy car racing would benefit from the strength of having a single group in charge, resulting in a less diluted product while helping to establish dominance over Formula 1. <br /><br /> NASCAR: <br /><br /> Even if you don't know what the letters stand for or you've never been to a NASCAR sanctioned race, everyone knows that NASCAR is about stock car racing. Stock cars are simply racecars that take road models or common stock as the foundation from which the racecar is created. <br /><br /> The Nextel Cup Series, NASCARS' premiere event, starts in February and finishes up in November. Along with being the longest of the race seasons, NASCAR also boasts the most events--39! Additionally, they have the most drivers--50 as opposed to the approximately 20 involved in each of the other organizations. <br /><br /> NASCAR races are held on road courses, ovals, irregularly shaped tracks, and circular raceways. Three things that make NASCAR popular are the regularity of its schedule, the expert machines, crews, and drivers, and the ability of the organization to be innovative while still holding to tradition. <br /><br /> The look of the stock cars, unlike the racers for Formula 1, Champ Car or IRL, make NASCAR the race of the people because we all drive vehicles that look like the cars that Jeff Gordon. Sterling Martin, and Jimmie Johnson maneuver each week. Few of us can see ourselves behind the wheel of a Formula 1, but many of us drive a Chevy like Tony Stewart, a Dodge like Kyle Petty or a Ford like Dale Jarrett. This connection that fans make with the stock car certainly helps extend the popularity of the circuit in the U.S. <br /><br /> Also, unlike the other three organizations, NASCAR runs their races every week. It's grueling, but it also creates a great competitive atmosphere and a large following that wants to know if Sterling Martin is going to cut off Jeff Gordon just like he did last week; and if he does, what will Gordon do about it? <br /><br /> Stock car races tend to include many lead changes, sparring amongst drivers, and athletic pit stops. Also, NASCAR holds all of its races in the United States, giving the entire circuit a specific national focus. <br /><br /> Although NASCAR is not the only game in town, they are the best known and most organized, offering fans weekly competition with an intensity and drive that no other racing organization has rivaled. The other groups certainly have their following and produce a great product, but Formula 1 may be too elite to ever reach Americans the way NASCAR has. Champ Car is more grounded in America but lacks the weekly head-to-head competition and IRL has been unable to exploit the mystique of the Indy racecar. <br /><br /> It may behoove you to check out all four of these major racing organizations and their events. If you're a NASCAR fan, you may find something unique in Formula 1 that you can also enjoy. Champ Car lovers should be able to get into the non-stop nature of stock car racing. Formula 1 folks may enjoy the variety NASCAR offers, while IRL enthusiasts might like the international flavor of Formula 1. <br /><br /> Then again--these camps and their allegiances may not be interested in ever crossing over to the other side. <br /><br /> ONLINE BETTING <br /><br /> If you think that sports wagering is limited to the four major sports (football, basketball, baseball and hockey), think again. A number of online sportsbooks offer race fans an opportunity to cash in on their favorites. You can easily find odds online on which driver or team will win a race, capture the pole position or finish in the top three. <br /><br /> The cars are running--take part in the excitement on race day. <bio>This article was written by Paul Mroczka for <a href="<a href="http://www.thegreek.com/">http://www.thegreek.com/.</a>"><a href="http://www.thegreek.com/">http://www.thegreek.com/.</a>.</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ I went to a women's writing workshop retreat awhile ago for some much needed R and R. It was wonderful. We were asked to read a couple of poems and write from that. Here's the first - a poem by <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rumi" rel="tag">Rumi</a> translated by <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/coleman+barks" rel="tag">Coleman Barks</a>. <br /><br /> The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/guest+house" rel="tag">Guest House</a> <br /><br /> This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. <br /><br /> A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. <br /><br /> Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they're a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight. <br /><br /> The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. <br /><br /> Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond. <br /><br /> My Very Own Guest House <br /><br /> When I remember what Rumi reminds us =96 that all my thoughts and feelings are welcome guests =96 that they come as a "guide from beyond", I relax and learn what is there to learn. <br /><br /> Earlier today someone said while giving wise counsel, "What you resist, persists." I can see the image. I can see a hand pushing back on mine. What happens? What happens when I keep not wanting to look at a guest =96 I want to turn her away? If she can't come in the front door, she'll come in the back or even the window or chimney. If she is sent by Above to offer me the gift and blessing to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/learn+something+new" rel="tag">learn something new</a> about how I am or how I can be or what I am doing that is not good for me, thank God for her persistence. <br /><br /> What would these 64 years be worth if I had not learned by virtue of my self-hatred that I am loveable? <br /><br /> What would they be worth if I had not learned that forgiveness frees me of the negative energy ties binding me to those that hurt me? <br /><br /> What if I hadn't learned that I can have love and respect and be valued "above rubies" by a beautiful, kind, intelligent and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/creative+man" rel="tag">creative man</a>? <br /><br /> What if I had stayed lost in pot or food or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/abusive+relationships" rel="tag">abusive relationships</a>? <br /><br /> What if I had not healed my very sick body? <br /><br /> What if I had allowed my ever persistent ego to keep me right instead of happy and peaceful? <br /><br /> What if I stayed hurt and broken and didn't learn that with each experience came gifts of learning and love? <br /><br /> "This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival." <br /><br /> I wonder who'd packing her suitcase this very minute having been sent from Above to guide me to my next beyond? <bio>Maia played key roles for author, John Gray and "Men Are from Mars". <content:encoded><![CDATA[ If you're bringing your family to Orlando you will no doubt visit Disney World and the other theme parks in the area, but why limit yourself to theme parks, when you can also visit the fascinating and educative <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kennedy+space+center" rel="tag">Kennedy Space Center</a> located at historic Cape Canaveral? Here is a brief guide to some of the attractions currently on offer at the Kennedy Space Center. <br /><br /> Meet an Astronaut <br /><br /> The center has arranged for various astronauts to meet visitors and talk about their missions in space. Astronauts from the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mercury" rel="tag">Mercury</a>, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gemini" rel="tag">Gemini</a>, Apollo and Shuttle programs are scheduled to take part throughout the year. <br /><br /> Simulated Shuttle <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/launch" rel="tag">Launch</a> <br /><br /> If you want to get an idea of what an astronaut feels during liftoff, then the Space Center's launch simulator is the best way to do it. The room vibrates and roars and when the engines shutdown participants get to view the earth, as astronauts see it when they reach their orbit. <br /><br /> Early Space History <br /><br /> This is a walk through exhibit showing the background of today's space program. One of the highlights is the actual control panel which was used to guide the astronauts of the Mercury and Gemini space programs. Mercury and Gemini capsules are also on display. <br /><br /> Viking Mars Mission <br /><br /> In 1976 a U.S. unmanned craft landed on Mars and took the first pictures of the red planet's surface. This exhibit takes you on that journey and visitors also can see and touch a piece of Mars as well (in the form of meteorite that fell to earth many years ago). <br /><br /> IMAX 3D Theater <br /><br /> With the help of giant screens, five stories high, you are taken on an awesome journey into space. The films contain dramatic footage taken by astronauts during their space missions and you get a feeling that you are right there with them. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/saturn+5" rel="tag">Saturn 5</a> Center <br /><br /> The Saturn 5 was the huge rocket that took astronauts to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/moon" rel="tag">moon</a> and back in the early 1970s. Featuring an actual 363-foot, 6.2 million pound Saturn V moon rocket, this exhibit takes you on a trip to the moon with a recreation of the first Apollo mission to the moon. There is also a hands-on exhibit. <br /><br /> LC 39 Observation Gantry <br /><br /> This is a 60 foot tower which will give you a great view of the space shuttle launch pads. There is also an on-the-ground exhibition which includes films of the Shuttle program, showing the actual process used to launch a Shuttle into space. <br /><br /> Space Center Guided Tour <br /><br /> This is a bus ride all around the Kennedy Space Center. It stops at the important places and the bus tours depart each day (except Christmas Day and certain launch days) beginning at 9:30 a.m., and leave continuously throughout the day, with the last bus leaving approximately four hours before closing. <br /><br /> The Space Shop <br /><br /> Are you fascinated by space memorabilia? Then this is the place for you. The Center's gift shop has more than 8,000 space-related items that make perfect souvenirs or additions to your serious space collection. <br /><br /> This is only just a small part of what you can see at the Kennedy Space Center, so if you want to treat your kids to an out of this world experience be sure to add it to your list of "must-see" places when you make your next Florida Vacation. <bio>Mark Whichard is a frequent writer on Orlando tourism. I had to have one when I went off to college. I guess it was something about the "be prepared" feeling a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/victorinox+swiss+army" rel="tag">Victorinox swiss army</a> knife exudes. That knife is long since lost, but I foundly remember it. It was the Mechanic model.<br><br>These days I carry a pink classic on my key chain so that my keys are easy to spot when on my desk or in my purse. I also have a yellow one in my desk drawer just in case I can't find my pink one. Or, maybe someone needs to borrow a little pocket knife in an emergency.<br><br>Anyhow, I wrote this goofy <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/little+poem" rel="tag">little poem</a> one day when I was thinking entirely too long and hard about <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/swiss+army+knives" rel="tag">swiss army knives</a>:<br><br>Kill a bear<br>Chop down a tree<br>My Swiss Army Knife<br>Is there for me<br><br>Clip your nail<br>Open a box<br>With my tried and true<br>Victorinox<br><br>Boy Scout pal<br>Officer's friend<br>When you need a tool<br>It's what you send<br><br>Up in space<br>Down on the ground<br>It's in your pocket<br>And can be found<br><br>Always there<br>When times get rough<br>There's never a job<br>That is too tough<br><br>Stainless steel<br>Red cellidor<br>When you need to cut<br>There's nothing more<br><br>Open some wine<br>And pop a cap<br>If there's a party<br>Drink in a snap<br><br>Plug it in<br>To USB<br>Transfer documents<br>So flawlessly<br><br>MP3<br>And a laser<br>Show your girl your knife<br>You'll amaze her<br><br>Whatever else<br>Could possibly<br>Be the coolest thing<br>For us to see?<br><br>When it rings<br>I will not roam<br>I'll just flip open<br>Swiss Army phone<br><br>Swiss army knives are perfect gifts for everyone on your shopping list. The Classic model is small and will fit on anyone's keychain. It features a key ring, small blade, nail file with screwdriver tip, toothpick, tweezer and scissors. I find the scissors to be especially handy when I need to clip my nail or cut a little string off my clothes. The most popular colors for the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/victorinox+classic" rel="tag">Victorinox Classic</a> include the red 53001, pink 53005 and black 53003 models. But you can get a classic in these colors as well: assorted rainbow tie dye colors, yellow, camo, blue green, white, grey, purple and with white flowers on them. The Classic even comes in sterling silver models which rival the finest pocket knives available at places like Tiffany.<br><br>Someone that fancies a larger model should definitely look at the 53501 Red Swiss Champ. That has been the most popular large knife Victorinox has ever made. It has a lot of stuff packed into it without it costing a fortune. It runs about $68 to $75 online. Those that want the Champ on steroids best take a look at the SwissChamp XLT.<br><br>There are several hundred models of swiss army knives to choose from. The best approach is to think about which features you must have and then pick a knife with those features. Some people can't live without scissors, others really want pliers. A small pen really comes in handy on the Signature models. It's up to your taste and budget which one you pick.<bio>Get a Victorinox <a href="http://www.swissknivesexpress.com" title= "swiss army knife">swiss army knife</a> today from www.swissknivesexpress.com. <content:encoded><![CDATA[The best chocolate bars are the ones that hold the greatest memories of being at the movie theaters, the carnivals, at halloween, at home watching your favorite show.<br><br>As children we all had our favorite best chocolate bars. For me it was one thing, for my friends another. We all hovered around the same top three best chocolate bars at that time. They were the Snickers, Baby Ruth and the Musketeer <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chocolate+candy+bar" rel="tag">chocolate candy bar</a>s. Although another favorite of mine was Hershey's milk chocolate almond candy bar. <br><br>Man, that was back in the day when we could buy a chocolate candy bar for .35 cents and a soda for .55 cents and still get some penny candy all for under a dollar! I am old, it has finally happened, I am old. But I still like my favorite <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chocolate+candy+bars" rel="tag">chocolate candy bars</a>.<br><br><b>The Best Chocolate Candy Bars</b><br><br>1. Snickers Candy Bars<br>2. Hersheys Candy Bars<br>3. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/baby+ruth+candy" rel="tag">Baby Ruth Candy</a> Bars<br><br>First up is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/snickers+bar" rel="tag">Snickers bar</a>. This bar is made by the company Mars, Inc. and has existed since 1930. Named for one of the Mars families horses, it has been popular since. It used to be known as Marathon outside the US, but that name was changed to Snickers. Why is this one of the best chocolate bars ever made, well because it is delicious that's why!<br /><br /><br><br>Peanuts, nougat, caramel all covered in milk chocolate make this bar have a little bit of everything all in perfect balance. I love the crunchiness of the nuts mixed with the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chewy+caramel" rel="tag">chewy caramel</a> and nougat. The nuts and caramel separate it from the bland and boring Three Musketeers and Milky Way. There are certain times I crave a good chocolate bar, and only a Snickers will do. For that it ranks high on my list of best chocolate bars.<br><br>Second on the list is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hershey+chocolate" rel="tag">Hershey chocolate</a> almond bar. This bar is the my favorite Chocolate Bar and the one that is simple but satisfying. The first bar was introduced in 1894 and while variations exist, when one wants a good old fashioned <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/american+chocolate" rel="tag">American chocolate</a> bar, Hershey, is the one to enjoy. <br><br>Finally, there's the Baby Ruth. A little historical fact floating around is that the Baby Ruth chocolate candy bar was named after Ruth Cleveland, President Clevelands daughter. Some think it was named after Babe Ruth, but either way it is one of my favorites that I got many cavities eating. <br><br>So, this may not be your pick, but they are representations of a time when health and chocolate eating were not on everyone's mind as today. They were meant for a snack, not your main meal. These were the top ones you went for at halloween too. So, what's your favorite?<br><br>Also, I discovered a couple of days ago a place called The South Bend Chocolate Company in Indiana. They have a line of signature chocolate candy bars. Here is where you move up from the average, everyday, supermarket candy bars. Now, it is gourmet, the finest of ingredients, cocoa butter, milk, nuts, the best recipes from the best. So, check it out, I already want to visit this place and their chocolate cafe!<bio><a href="http://www.chocolatecandylovers.com/">This text</a> is a link to a page on the World Wide Web.</bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Want a proven way to become memorable to your potential clients? Create a "<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/flagship+product" rel="tag">flagship product</a>." <br /><br /> What's a flagship product? <br /><br /> A flagship product is a product or service that you and your business becomes identified with. It's something that communicates a concept or solution that people automatically and favorably associate with you. <br /><br /> What a flagship product does is give you and your business instant credibility. When people purchase your flagship product, they are more likely to buy other products and services from you. <br /><br /> A flagship product should have the following characteristics: <br /><br /> 1. It provides a unique solution or approach to a problem and is seen as new and memorable. <br /><br /> 2. It is the starting point for all of your other spinoff products or services. <br /><br /> 3. It is branded in a distinctive way with a name and identity that is unlike other products or services. <br /><br /> What are some examples of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/flagship+products" rel="tag">flagship products</a> by InfoGurus? Here are a few that immediately spring to mind: <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/guerrilla+marketing" rel="tag">Guerrilla Marketing</a> - This book, by Jay Conrad Levinson, written in the 80's, has spawned a whole series of Guerrilla <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marketing+books" rel="tag">Marketing books</a> and seminars. It's become a household name amongst small business owners. <br /><br /> Make Your Site Sell - An e-book launched in 2000 by <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ken+evoy" rel="tag">Ken Evoy</a> that established him as one of the preeminent Internet Gurus and was the genesis of several other e-books and online products. <br /><br /> The Millionaire Mind - Harv Eker's free three-day workshop on changing your mindset about money. Tens of thousands have attended and it's been a launching pad for his other programs. <br /><br /> The Wizard of Ads - The brilliant compilation of eZine articles was the first of three books in the series by Roy Williams, and the foundation for his 3-day Wizard Academy in Austin, Texas. <br /><br /> The InfoGuru Marketing Manual - The starting point for most of the customers and clients of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/action+plan+marketing" rel="tag">Action Plan Marketing</a>. Most people who take my workshops or Marketing Action Groups get this first. <br /><br /> Most of these are marketing-oriented examples off the top of my head, as that's the world I'm most familiar with. But if you look at your particular field, there are usually a few InfoGurus who are well known for some kind of flagship product. <br /><br /> I had been in business for 15 years before I launched my manual. Others take longer, some shorter. But however long it takes, it's a worthwhile goal to aspire to. It will give you leverage you can get no other way. <br /><br /> Your flagship product may be a book, an e-book, a workshop or training program. But it really has to be at the heart of the work you do and must have some passion behind it. <br /><br /> I once worked with a woman who had spent a year writing a book but who really didn't want to work with clients in that area. In other words, her flagship sank! There was nowhere she could sail it to leverage her own business. <br /><br /> Coming up with a new concept takes some time and creativity, but it's certainly worth the effort. Coining the word "InfoGuru" seemed like a gamble at the time (one of those titles that came to me in the shower) but I think it's better than many books or e-books that are completely generic and therefore unmemorable. <br /><br /> Not only has the manual served my business well in terms of being a foundation for all my products and programs, it has earned me substantial income over the past five years. A flagship product can create real marketing momentum. <br /><br /> Oh, here's another one: <br /><br /> Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus by John Gray. This wildly successful book on relationships was the first of many other Mars-Venus Books. In fact, every book John now writes contains that flagship identity. I'm waiting for "Marketing Secrets of Mars and Venus." I'll get that one! <br /><br /> The time to start working on a flagship product or service is NOW! It will make a huge long-term impact on your business. Find a way of developing something that stands out from everything else and you're on your way. <br /><br /> What's your flagship product going to be? <bio>Robert Middleton, the owner of Action Plan Marketing, has been helping Independent Professionals be better marketers since 1984. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Unless you have been on Mars preparing a welcome for NASA's Mars rover, you are probably aware that many people practice Iyengar Yoga for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stress+relief" rel="tag">stress relief</a> and other health benefits.<br><br>However, up until now, no one has compiled a quick and easy to use list of excuses for NOT doing yoga. Consequently, as a public service, we have hereby created a list of ten outstanding, ready-made excuses to assist those who would like to avoid the stress relief, relaxation, weight loss, increased energy, improved sleep and other health benefits of doing yoga.<br><br>If you do yoga:<br><br>1. You will look young and energetic instead of old and tired and will have to give up lecturing younger people on how much easier they have it than you did when you were their age.<br><br>2. You will no longer freak out and lose your temper when the smallest things go wrong, and will be unable to avoid all those pesky people who didn't like you because of your temper and who now want to be your friends.<br><br>3. You will lose the physical clumsiness, lack of co-ordination and inability to touch, or even see, your toes that you have been cultivating as status symbols of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/aristocratic+life" rel="tag">aristocratic life</a> of leisure and ease that you lead.<br><br>4. You will mess up your shot at the gold medal in the upcoming "<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/couch+potato" rel="tag">Couch Potato</a> of the Year" international championship by becoming altogether too energetic.<br><br>5. Your doctor will get lonely because you don't visit as often and you have no idea what else you could do with the money you spend on various medications, or on gas going back and forth to your doctor's office.<br><br>6. Your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/health+insurance+premiums" rel="tag">health insurance premiums</a> might no longer be as high as possible because you are doing something that will reduce your chances of getting serious diseases.<br><br>7. You will have to give-up your time-tested <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/morning+ritual" rel="tag">morning ritual</a> of sucking-in, grimacing, pulling and tugging at the zipper of your pants to close over your spare time as you get dressed to greet another day.<br><br>8. You might have to get rid of your prize winning collection of diet books if you started losing weight without trying to diet.<br><br>9. You will have a way to recuperate from jet lag and other forms of exhaustion and will no longer able to complain to everyone for weeks about how utterly tired you are.<br><br>10. If you reduce stress, have more energy, and enjoy really good health, you might lose the outstanding complaining skills you have spent years developing.<br><br>So there you have it: a ready made list of excuses to use when someone asks you why you haven't tried yoga even though you are stressed out and would like some stress relief.<br><br>However, if you have decided you might want to use Iyengar Yoga for stress relief and other health benefits, go ahead and take a yoga class --- asap! After all, what do you have to lose, except that spare tire, and that constant state of fatigue and stress?<bio>Need stress relief? <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Many people today are watching home improvement shows and these shows seem to be pushing Canadians to renovate their home into a dream home instead of realizing the financial realities of renovation. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/surveys+show" rel="tag">Surveys show</a> that, although 60% of the people in the survey who had a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/home+renovation" rel="tag">home renovation</a> worked up a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/budget" rel="tag">budget</a> for it, 27% spent more than they had originally budgeted. <br /><br /> It is not easy to stay within budget when you are doing a renovation. Add to that pressure all of the home improvement shows on T.V. or all of the decorating magazines that make the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/homeowner" rel="tag">homeowner</a> want the latest and fanciest in appliances and decoration. Most people who renovate their homes want to stay within budget, but all of these influences can frequently tempt them to extend themselves a bit to have the features they see on T.V. <br /><br /> Even without this, it is difficult to predict extra costs and make sure there is enough money to cover any project overruns. Financial experts suggest that you have the financing for the project lined up ahead of time in the form of a personal loan or a home equity loan. This will give the homeowner the necessary cushion for added costs. Even if you don't use the line of credit, it is good to have it to cover contingencies. What if you are having a room added, and then you find out there is a problem with the electrical system that has to be repaired? <br /><br /> The surveys show that 68% of the respondents used savings to pay for their home renovations, but they still will require planning to stave off financial problems. Of the homeowners surveyed, 34% were borrowing to cover the cost of the home improvement. <br /><br /> Don't get caught up in the trap of trying to imitate the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/beautiful+mansions" rel="tag">beautiful mansions</a> you see on these home and garden T.V shows. Don't let the beginning of a home improvement become the end of your marriage. A study by the British Gas Association and published on their website <a href="http://house.co.uk" >http://house.co.uk</a> indicates that more than half of the do-it-yourself <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/home+improvement+projects" rel="tag">home improvement projects</a> are inspired by these shows, and that 80% of the families doing the projects are having arguments over them. <br /><br /> Two thirds of the families have serious disagreements over the color scheme of the project! The aim of the research was to learn consumer attitude toward DIY. The site, <a href="http://house.co.uk" >http://house.co.uk</a> is a a national registry of screened tradesmen who are promoted by HomePro Ltd. the leading on line supplier of trade professionals. <br /><br /> Having a professional may help a family avoid the deputes that occur in DIY projects and may save money in the long run, since so many families have to pay extra to fix their DIY mistakes. <br /><br /> Here are the top ten reasons for the disputes: <br /><br /> 10. The Mars/Venus trap. Men are from Mars and women are from Venus and they cannot agree. 9. Lack of knowledge to do the job. 8. The high costs. 7. Stress. 6. The disruption in the household the renovations cause. 5. Finding time to complete the project. 4. Unfinished jobs. 3. Misconceptions about the job. The T.V. show makes it look so easy. 2. The one doing the job really doesn't want to do it. <br /><br /> And the top reason (hardly seems worthwhile): Disagreements over the color scheme. <br /><br /> Many people are reluctant to decide about moving because of uncertainty in the housing market, so they are following the lead of T.V. shows and renovating instead of moving. <bio>Concentrating on the area of power tools, Vince Paxton writes articles normally for <a href="http://www.insidewoodworking.com" >http://www.insidewoodworking.com</a> . You might see his work over at <a href="http://www.insidewoodworking.com/wowo/014.html" >http://www.insidewoodworking.com/wowo/014.html</a> and other sources for woodworking shows knowledge. </bio>]]></content:encoded>
