I like to also, in my mind, have like a captain. In the military service there is always a captain for a unit, there are captains of football teams, there are captains of soccer teams, there are captains of all sports teams. If you look in the school systems, you have the principal, they are like the captains, they lead the school in a certain direction. Whether you want to call it a captain or manager, whatever you want to call it, you need to have something that is in charge in order to control you mind. You can consider the conscious part of the mind the captain, that is always there telling the subconscious what to go forward with and do.

Whether you believe it or not, your subconscious is working twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, whether you realize it or not, whether you are sleeping or not. If you are a copywriter, you probably get ideas in your mind and you might not write it that day. You can start it the next day or even a day later. You will have the information in your head and look at what you are going to write, you have some ideas and some points, you get that in your mind and your subconscious will be working on it continuously. You can be doing something else but your mind is continuously working on the ideas and thoughts that are in your subconscious. You can come back a day or two later and have all the thoughts there and just get to writing, get right into it. I believe that this type of thinking will help you if you have writers block it takes care of that.

Back to the point, as a captain you are controlling your mind and you just have to control your mind. Believe that you have a captain and a crew, your captain should be your conscious mind and your crew is your subconscious. If you want to have the vision and create ten thousand dollars a month, then in your mind create ten thousand dollars a month, your captain should tell your crew and your crew should get to work on it. Low and behold, a couple of months you will be making your dollar amount. Along the line of fear, if fear comes into your mind delete it out of there and replace it with a good thought, it will happen. We do not have to live with fear in our life.

I just cannot stress it enough, it kills people, kills businesses, I see it all the time. And I have to talk about it because I do not want you to live in fear and controlling your mind is about getting the fear out of it. If you cannot delete the fear out of your mind, it is just going to stay there and destroy you and destroy your business. If you have bills that bring fear into you, you do not have to let the bills bring fear into you.

Bills can instill fear in people, bill collectors do. Bills come in, okay, just put it in your box, do not even look at it again until you have the money. You do not have to let that control your life, just like bill collectors that call you, do not let them control your life, do not answer the phone, do not listen to the message on the answering machine, whatever it is, get on the phone with them and tell them that you do not have the money, that is it, good bye. No fear at all, there is nothing that they can physically do to you. Again, fear is a terrible way to live and I highly suggest that if this is the first time that you have read this information, read it again, take notes and just do not live in fear.

Fear is false expectation appearing real, it is falsely appearing real in your mind. Crunch bested bare footed pirates by hoping to violate the common laws of physics and milk absorption. The followers of the Crunchian Way don't spend much time thinking, rather they have faith that when push and shove finally meet, somehow, some transcendental way, things will just work out. Often you will find them repeating affirmations, praying, or having a second cocktail after lobbying the fates to be gentle with them.

Finally we consider the last of the great Captains of our culture: Captain Kangaroo. This Captain chose his actions by committee. Capt. Kangaroo always consulted his team of stalwart puppets and staff. Only after painstaking analysis by Mr.'s Moose and Greenjeans, Bunny Rabbit, Dancing Bear, and a host of others was Capt. Kangaroo ready to take action. Unfortunately, by then his show was over, and his opportunity missed.

Obviously, depending on the hyperbolic traits of any single one of our great captains, or any single habitual strategy for making choices, is liable to routinely leave us enjoying less than desirable consequences. Some situations might require the `charge in phaser's blazing' approach of Kirk. Other situations may well benefit from the soggy thinking optimism of Crunch. Of course, the careful analytical approach of Kangaroo has its moments as well. Most situations would benefit from a nice variable combination of the three captain's choosing methods.

Before you make your next big, or little choice, you might stop for a moment and see if you have been happy with the results from previous similar choices. If you have, then by all means move forwards as usual. If you haven't always been pleased with the results of your choices, you might consider changing your choosing strategy. Sometimes that's as easy as simply making up your mind to change. Other times our choosing strategy is completely unconscious, and not easily changed. If you chronically find yourself at the wrong end of bad choices that you don't even remember making, then it's time to visit your local hypnotherapist. The wickets themselves are composed of three stumps, which are 28 inches tall and 9 inches wide with three bails on top. The bowling crease is 8.8ft long and as wide as the wicket, it is centred on the stumps. The condition of the pitch should be good and ideally should give an even bounce.

Cricket is played for one or two innings depending on the type of match. The innings is over when all of the batsmen are out, or the innings is forfeit, or if the limit of overs or time is reached as agreed by the two captains.

A 'follow-on' occurs in a two innings match when a team that is batting does not reach the limit for runs to allow them to play on. This is when they are behind the fielding team by 200 runs for a test match, 150 for a three day match and 75 runs for a one day match. The batting team then has to bat again at the discretion of the other team. The captain of the batting team may end the innings whenever the ball is not in play.

There should be a 10 minute break between each innings, and there are also breaks for lunch, tea and drinks as agreed by the captains, after which the play is started again by the umpires. In the final hour the fielding team must bowl at least 20 overs. The teams may practice before or after the game at the umpire's discretion.

The batting team scores a run when both batsman cross and reach the opposite ends of the wicket without getting out. If the ball goes over the boundary and does not bounce the batting team get 6 runs, if it does bounce then they get 4 runs. The team that gets the most runs is the winner. If they both get the same amount of runs it is a draw. Each over is 6 bowls long and then the next over is from the other end of the wicket.

If the batsman is not able to hit the ball from where he stands then the ball is wide This means that the batting team gets an extra run. There is also a no ball when the ball bounces more than one time on the way to the wicket when it has been bowled or the bowler does not bowl correctly. That gives the batting team an extra run. When the bowler bowls he may not put his foot over the crease and his arm must go over his shoulder and not bend.

If the ball is not hit when bowled, but the batsmen scores a run it is called a bye, but the batsman must play a shot. If the batsman makes a run when he has tried to hit the ball but it has bounced off of his pad then it is called a leg bye. The batsman is out if the ball is caught before it has hit the ground when he has hit it. He is out if the bowler knocks off the bails when the ball is bowled. The batsman is out if the bails are knocked off when he is out of the crease and the ball is in play.The batsman is out if he is not ready to face the ball in three minutes from the last batsman being out.

The batsman is out if he, hits the ball twice or gets hit by the ball after it is bowled and when it would have hit the wicket if he did not get in the way of it. The batsman is out when he purposely obstructs the fielding team when the ball is in play. The batsman is out when he is run out when the ball hits the wicket when he is not in the crease when he is running between the wickets. The wicket keeper stands behind the wicket and is able to wear gloves and pads. He can stump the batsman through knocking off the bails when the batsman is not in the crease.

When 10 out the 11 batsmen are out, or the amount of agreed overs or hours are completed, the innings is finished. S.O.S. is one you've probably heard of, which is three short beeps for "S", three long beeps for "O", then three more short beeps for another "S". We got started early in the morning and took the first tour out. The temperature must have been about 45 degrees Fahrenheit or so, and in wise anticpation we both wore our Canadian winter jackets. Good thing, because it gets pretty darn cold zooming along at high speed on the airboats. We were the first ride out of the gate, and fortunately we were provided with white blankets which kept us reasonably warm. Off we went on our 6-passenger airboat, exploring the coastline of Lake Tohopekaliga, getting a glimpse at various types of wetland birds, including bald eagles, ospreys, egrets and cranes that live here in the Central Florida Everglades. The name of the lake means "sleeping tiger" and it extends over 11,968 acres.

Our captain, "big and beefy Chad", took us around to give us an idea of an authentic Florida lake experience. At one point he drove the airboat onto land and got out of the boat to take a picture of us. After the picture he really cranked it up as he went northwards on Lake Toho. At the northern end of the tour he took us into some sidearms of the lake where we got see the marshy wetlands up close. On the way back he took his foot off the brake and firmly put it on the gas pedal. He mentioned that airboats can reach speeds up to 65 miles per hour, I think we must have been pretty close. He even did some gentle turns with the boat which turned into an exhiliarating high-speed slalom experience for all us in the boat.

I looked over at my husband, and he had a strange smile on his face. After the ride was finished he admitted that he was really scared, for one thing he doesn't swim and he was worried about exiting our high-speed vessel. But not to worry, Chad brought us back safely, and I for one, being a bit of a high-speed freak myself, was glowing with the experience - I truly had a blast!

According to Michelle Peters, who works at Boggy Creek Airboat Rides, the company was founded by her sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Chris Long, in 1994 and operation was started with one 6-passenger airboat. Chad, being the all-round talented individual that he is, also took us out on the swamp buggy, this custom-built monster contraption. We went through some solar-powered remote controlled gates onto a working cattle ranch. Florida actually still has a pretty sizeable cattle industry, and the historic term for Florida cowboys actually is "cow men".

On our swamp buggy ride we saw a variety of wildlife, including cattle and some awefully cute baby cows. We also caught a glimpse of the very tail end of an alligator, who was doing its best to hide itself under the leafy vegetation surrounding a little pond. We also saw some deer and a whole range of different birds, including the tall sandhill cranes who seem to be totally unafraid of human beings. The ground was pretty wet in some areas, and I was amazed that our vehicle was capable of plowing through all the muck - we even crossed a river! Boggy Creek Airboat Rides and Swamp Buggy Tours is a great family outing, and the high-speed experience will even soothe teenagers' cravings for high adrenaline fun. Airboat tours are generally half an hour long, are offered every half hour and don't require reservations. In the summer, the company offers night rides that are an hour long. Michelle mentioned that on one of the night tours last summer she saw 17 alligators, who are nocturnal creatures and come out in full force at night time.

Well, we didn't really get a good view of any alligators, but the combination of airboat ride and swamp buggy tour really kick-started our engines for the day!
