Now you know that you need a list and have started to build one. The next step is to build the relationship that will make the list profitable. Below are 9 tips to help you get that process started.

1. Unsubscribes are good. The only way that you will not get unsubscribes to your list is to never send to them. Not everyone will like your personality or writing style. Those that don't will never follow your recommendations so it is not a great loss when they unsubscribe.

2. Be yourself. Let your personality come through to your list. People will buy from you because they trust you. Try to be something you are not and it will come through to your list and you will never develop that trust.

3. Be informative. Make sure that you are supplying quality information to your list. Even if you are presenting a product for sale make sure that you are also supplying information. Create the problem and your product as a solution but also let your subscribers learn something about the topic even if they aren't interested in the product.

4. Stay on topic. If your list is about desserts that should be the topic of your email. Now don't send marketing tips to your dessert list or desserts to your marketing tips list. Yes, there may be a few that have interests in both (I am one and have both types of lists), but the person signed up for a specific topic and you are violating that trust you have worked so hard to create.

5. Only send one item per email unless it is a newsletter. Sending multiple items to your list can be extremely confusing to them and never get you the action you are looking to get. Make sure that you have a call to action in every email. Never leave your subscriber wondering what you wanted them to do.

6. Always have a reason This tends to go with number 5. Make sure that there is a reason for the email that you sent. If you have a purpose then people will tend to keep reading. If they have no idea what your reason is for your email then they will quickly stop reading all of your emails.

7. Track what works. Tracking is the only way you will know which of your emails works and which don't. This will allow you to improve your emails to your list. Do remember that the only purpose of your email is to create the click through to a sales page. If it does that it is successful whether you sell a product or not. The sale of the product is dependent on the sales page.

8. Use contact information. You are building a relationship and that is based on trust. Let people know who you are and how to reach you.

9. Be responsive. If you receive an email from a subscriber answer it. That goes a long way to building the trust that is necessary to create a customer. People buy from those that they trust.

These tips will go a long way towards helping you to build the relationship that is necessary to build a profitable list. <bio>Mike Paetzold is the co author of Opt In Master Course (http://optinmastercourse.com/mikepaetzold.html) and specializes in helping people build a profitable list. </bio>

Trust is the foundation of a healthy relationship. Feeling comfortable around your partner at all times ensures good communication and eliminates unnecessary anxieties. But sometimes the level of trust can be broken, perhaps because you failed to live up to your side of the agreement. Depending on the severity of the fallout, it can be very difficult to reestablish this lost confidence. Here are some starting points to that can help you rebuild the trust in your relationship.

Don't Hold Back There is always an explanation for why you did what you did, but many times people hold back important details. They try to skew the story so that it doesn't seem as bad or else they try to portray the situation as something out of their control. The best approach is to tell the whole truth from the beginning. While it may be difficult to admit to your wrongdoings, you will save yourself from even greater backlash by being honest up front. Unless you choose to share all of the circumstances surrounding the incident, you will forever be hiding from what actually happened. Ultimately, these untold secrets will prevent your relationship from moving on.

Rebuild from the Beginning You can't expect your relationship to recover from trust issues in one day. Even if you are lucky and your partner agrees to forgive you, it does not mean that you won't have to continue to prove yourself. This process could even take years, but it all starts with the little things. You can begin to build confidence from your partner by simply doing all the things you say you will. Showing up on time and following through on tasks may seem simple, but living up to even the smallest expectations will reflect well upon your intentions to save your relationship. Over time you will have more opportunities to prove yourself, and each one will generate a new level of trust from your partner.

Give Trust Back An often overlooked aspect of trust building is its reciprocal nature. Even if it was your fault for the breakdown, you still need to focus on offering the same level of confidence to your partner that you hope to gain back from them. This can be easier then it sounds since your guilt will likely create fears of them leaving you. By showing your partner that you believe in them, they will be more willing to give you another chance as well. This means letting them go out with their friends, allowing them flexibility with making decisions, and generally supporting their activities. In essence you will build up trust by giving some back.

Dealing with trust issues can be a difficult topic to discuss openly. The fear of rejection can sometimes leading to distorting the truth in your favor. But the best way to rebuild confidence is to tell the whole truth, and treat your partner the same way you wish to be treated. It can be a long journey to bring things back to where they were, but persistence and honesty are the surest routes to winning back the lost love and trust. <bio>http://getbackmyex.com </bio>

Due to Google's recent Page Rank update, some people might feel like bench warmers because they saw their Page Rank fall.

If you found yourself in this situation you might find it useful to know that articles can boost your Page Rank. So you can actually prepare for the next Page Rank update by implementing your article marketing strategy right now.

Articles affect Page Rank in two important ways. First, a little about what Page Rank is:

Google instituted Page Rank in 1988 to measure website trust. Google's philosophy of linking is that website owners link to other websites because they like them and trust them.

Google decided to make inbound link quality a major factor in determining Page Rank. But they also look at on-page factors as well. If your outbound links and internal links are relevant and not broken then you build trust for your Page Rank score as well.

So what are the two ways that articles build trust? By providing website owners ways to build quality inbound links to their website and by giving website owners useful content to put on their websites that will build trust.

Here's how it works: You write an article and submit it to several article directories. Those article directories are not your primary target. You want publishers related to your niche to pick up your article and publish it - on their website, their blog, in their newsletter, and wherever you might find targeted traffic related to your niche.

Every time one of these related website owners or publishers uses your article you get an inbound link from a relevant website. That is a trust building factor.

If you put your articles on your own website then you also encourage people to link to you because if your article is worthy anything - that is, it provides valuable content - then people related to your website will want to link to it. That's another trust building factor.

Your article content itself is useful in building trust among your target audience. It also helps with branding and reputation management. The more articles that are out there on the web with your name on it the better, (as long as the articles are well-written and informative to readers).

People want to know that you are well-informed about your topic if they are going to do business with you. Great articles that help people learn more about your topic is one of the best ways to show that you are an expert on your topic.

Poorly written articles on the other hand can damage your reputation. Don't buy cheap content like PLR articles if you really want to boost your reputation online.

Don't buy content for your articles from freelancer websites where people promise to write your articles for an unbelievably low price either. If it sounds too good to be true you know it is.

Well-written articles on your topic can be written by you personally or you can hire a real ghostwriter to write them for you. But quality costs more. Average prices for well-written articles vary from around $20 per article to over $100 per article.

When choosing a content provider, search for their name in Google. Look over the articles they put their own name on. Judge the quality from that, not from what they say on their website.

Article marketing works. It drives traffic, builds trust for your website, and can be used to increase your Page Rank. All it takes is a little hard work, a good strategy, and the drive to pursue it. <bio>Allen Taylor is an Article Marketing Expert.
EBay is the largest auction website on earth. It is not very easy, both as a seller and buyer, to build trust very quickly. Here are a few tips to help you attract more potential buyers to your auction.

1) Can you trust the seller?

This is a question that all your serious auction visitors will quickly ask themselves. As they do not know you they are going to want to check you out. But how will they do this? The first thing they would look for is your feedback rating. Feedback is a way eBay allows buyers and sellers to rate their experiences with each other. If you have a stellar feedback rating your visitor will feel you are trustworthy. Your goal should be to increase your auction feedback and keep it positive.

Another way a visitor will check to see if you are trustworthy is to click over to your about me page. This is a page you can create in your eBay account for free. It allows you to give your potential bidders some background information about you and your business.

You can also include your feedback and other listed auctions on this page as well. This is where you have a chance to tell your potential bidder about yourself and your business, why they should buy from you. It is highly recommended that you take advantage of this and create it in your eBay account.

2) What methods can I use to pay?

The more options you have for payment the more visitors will become bidders. There are many methods of payment. Pay Pal is an eBay company so having a Pay Pal payment button on your auction is an easy and cost effective way to include on your auction sales page. Besides Pay Pal, you may want to consider excepting other payment options such as e-checks, bid pay, western union, or even a cashier's check.

3) Is there a specific guarantee?

You always need some sort of guarantee for your product. It helps to show your visitor that you are a trustworthy business person. Keep in mind that your buyer assumes most of the risk here. They are buying from someone that they have never met. They are paying for a product that they have not yet received. A guarantee that is appropriate for your product or service will help your visitor become a potential bidder.

4) Can you trust the delivery options?

Always disclose how your product or service is delivered with the charge. Whether you are sending it through the postal service or another service, your bidder will want to know how they should expect to receive the item. You can usually approximate deliver time and cost based on information you obtain from your personal post office.

5) Is the product worth even your money?

Many times on eBay, sellers will provide a picture and a short description. This is one of the most important aspects of the process. Lazy and inexperienced sellers will use pictures from the manufacturer's website. This is not very good because the product can be old and broken, but you will not know.

Always keep in mind that building trust on eBay is the most important key to making a sale or buying products. It is just a simple fact that the more trust you build equals the more possible sales you can make. As long as you build trust with your visitors, you will succeed without a doubt.

Copyright 2007 Donald Mckenzie Jr <bio>Donald Mckenzie Jr has used ebay for more than 6 years.
Trust is a precious commodity.

Trust creates bonds that last forever.

Trust saves time. It enables freedom. It builds dignity.

Trust greases the wheels of deal making.

It simplifies business. It simplifies life.

When trust is lost, relationships are poisoned. Discussions become heated and argumentative. Time and energy are wasted.

And money is lost.

Lots - of - money - is -lost.

Some people are distrustful by nature. With them, trust take years to build and can be destroyed in a second.

For others, trusting comes easy. They start off trusting and continue trusting until proven foolish in doing so.

Are far as you are concerned, two questions should be on your mind.

1. How do I as a contractor earn trust? 2. How do I as a contractor lose trust?

You earn trust by doing what you are supposed to, when you are supposed to, in the manner in which you are supposed to. When you reach an agreement, you keep your word.

You earn trust by taking care of your clients - and your clients' clients.

You lose trust by doing the opposite.

Exploiting gray areas. Playing every angle. Trying to slip inferior products and methods by the building owner and his representative.

You undermine trust by charging outlandish prices for change orders, violating safety procedures, leaving your work areas dirty, and tearing up other trades' work.

When you lose the trust of those who hired you, you suffer very unpleasant consequences.

The owner's representative watches you like a hawk. The general contractor cuts you no slack. Come close-out, you are nickeled and dimed for every perceived quality flaw.

You are charged with an unfair amount of liquidated damages. Your retention and last pay application get withheld until you settle for a reduced payout.

Most and worst of all, when you violate the trust of your construction team, you set in motion an unending chain of events that not only hurts you financially on the present project, it sticks to you for several projects to come. The punishment could lead to your blacklisting among the predominant contractors and owners in your market.

As you well know, the construction industry has become dominated by lawyers and lawsuits. It has also become heavily populated by sharks who rob every naive newcomer blind.

You don't have to be a push-over to maintain your dignity. And you don't have to be a wimp to keep your word. You just have to stay on top of what you say, what you do, and perform at the level of workmanship demanded by and appropriate for the job. <bio>Ron Roberts, The Contractor's Business Coach, teaches contractors how to turn their businesses into a profit spewing machines.
The loss of trust is a very painful experience. It often involves a lot of hurt, confusion, anger, and sadness.

Dealing with these emotions is critical when trying to rebuild trust. When upset, we want our partners to understand our point of view - to understand our feelings and emotions.

Understanding how we feel is important because it helps us deal with our negative feelings and move beyond them.

If a partner does not take the time to make us feel understood - we try to get even - we try to make our partners feel as bad as we do. Even though it sounds childish, when someone does not understand our hurt or pain - we try to make them feel what we are feeling (this is often an unconscious response). Not feeling understood, often leads to a game of inflicting mutual hurt.

In most cases, partners do not take the time to make us feel understood because they do not know how to do it OR because they get defensive (feel under attack).

When accused of wrongdoing, people often try to...

* apologize * offer excuses and explanations * withdraw * or even attack back...

These strategies do NOT work because they fail to create real understanding. Simply put, people need to feel understood before apologies are offered and explanations are given. It is virtually impossible to rebuild trust until people who have been harmed feel understood.

So, when trying to build or repair trust - it helps to see the situation from a partner's point of view. Try to understand why the other person is so upset - directly acknowledge his or her feelings ("you are angry, hurt, confused") and his or her interpretation of the situation ("and, you have every right to be upset, because what I did was wrong.")

You basically have to agree that the other person's feelings are legitimate and fair - let the other person know that you get it. If you can do this, trust is going to be much easier to regain.

If you can make someone feel understood when they are upset, they are more likely to...

* calm down * forgive you * feel closer * listen to your side of the story...

If you don't take the time to understand your partner's feelings, rebuilding trust is much more difficult to do. But, once you make a partner feel understood, it becomes possible to offer an effective apology. About The Author: Timothy Cole, PhD. So, how does this feeling of trust develop between some people while it is not forthcoming with others although you are going head over heels in your attempt to instill this feeling of trust? This is so because of oxytocin.

Oxytocin is a naturally occurring hormone in the body responsible for several functions that include contractions during labor, breast feeding and improving the sexual orgasms. It is also the cause for bonding between the mother and the child and for the sense of trust to be instilled.

Researchers in Zurich University found out that inhalation of oxytocin spray can help in improving the level of trust a person feels for the other. This is so because the levels of oxytocin get enhanced by the inhalation thereby increasing the sensation of trust the person feels for the other.

Liquid Trust Spray is a revolutionary one of its kind product from Vero labs that has been formulated to help people develop trust in one another. The spray comes in a one ounce bottle that contains oxytocin along with other ingredients like SD alcohol and purified water. It is both colorless as well as odorless and is sprayed onto clothing. While being odorless, it does not matter what other perfume or deodorant you are using as its functions are not hampered by any of these.

Based on many customers' liquid trust reviews, it has been observed that liquid trust has been very effective in developing an increased level of trust among people in whom this feeling was never a feature earlier. People have tried out liquid trust in many situations to improve the level of trust. It has helped increase trust (for salesmen) to help close deals which was not so easy at earlier occasions and has helped many employers and employees develop mutual trust for one another.

Another big scenario where people are trying to use Liquid trust spray is the dating scenario. The biggest drawing factor among couples is trust. If couples do not trust one another, the relationship will fast go down the drain and they are bound to have a breakup.

The use of Liquid trust has been proven to improve level of trust among couples while many claim that it has also helped improve the level of sexual attraction. While different people are trying Liquid trust for different reasons, most of them are overly satisfied with the results they are being able to generate as a result of using the product.

A word of caution however is that Liquid trust spray works only for a hour or two once it is sprayed onto the clothing so it is best to use the product just before leaving for that important meeting or date. It is also best if the product is kept refrigerated at other times to prevent it from losing its properties.

You too can enjoy the benefits of dreaming big or winning over that dream date by opting to use liquid trust spray. The bottle comes in a 1oz packing that lasts for two months and the product comes with a money back guarantee for a period of two months in which you can effectively test the product as see the results for yourself.<bio>For more information about Liquid Trust Spray, visit Liquid Trust Review at http://www.liquidtrustreview.org/</bio>

In my recent consulting with several different companies, I have found a lack of trust at the root of many of their problems. Sometimes, the lack of trust is for other co-workers and other times it's a lack of trust in the company or administration.

We have been taught to believe trust is a commodity that is earned by others. Once they have passed certain tests, then we feel safe to extend our trust. I would like to entertain the idea that trust can be a verb, rather than a noun. It's a choice you make and says much more about you than it does the person to whom you are extending your trust.

When I posed the question to people, do you want to be able to trust your co-workers or administration, they all responded in the affirmative. They wanted to be able to trust but did not believe that others deserved it.

This begged the question, "What would you have to give up in order to trust others?" There were a variety of answer to this question but the majority of them centered around the idea of self-protection. If you were to trust, then you would look foolish. If you were to trust, then you would be hurt again. If you were to trust, then you would somehow lose something if the other person disappointed you.

I know there is an expression that goes something like this, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me," however, I'm not sure I think subscribing to that belief system is helpful in work.

Because my model of Empowered Leadership is an Inside Out model, I know that you want more trust in your life, you have to be more trusting and more worthy of trust. You can't get from others what you don't possess in yourself.

Let's look closely at this trust issue and ask some difficult questions. If you are feeling the need to protect yourself somehow, why is that? What are you afraid of? What's the worst thing that can happen? Will that really be so bad?

If you are looking inside out, then you must ask yourself, "Am I a trustworthy person? Do others realize that I have integrity and can be trusted? Do I extend trust to others?"

Now, of course, I am not talking about continuously putting yourself in situations with the same person who has proven a lack of trustworthiness. If you work with someone who attempted to pass off your work as his own, then you may be foolish to afford him another opportunity. However, is it possible for you to extend trust until someone proves he or she doesn't deserve it, rather than starting with no trust until he or she jumps through the necessary hoops to earn your trust?

It comes down to deciding what kind of person you want to be. Do you want to be a person who believes in the general good of humankind or do you want to be guarded, self-protective and suspicious? You get to decide how you want to operate in the world. Do not allow others to dictate this for you. Take charge and be the person you want to be.

If you find yourself in a situation with someone where trust has become an issue, make it a priority to investigate the situation. Go to the person, ask for and really listen to his or her account of what occurred. It's very possible that you don't have all the accurate information.

What I know is that there will only be limited teamwork or no teamwork at all without trust. If you are in an environment where you believe it is impossible to trust others, ask yourself if that is really where you want to be working. It may become necessary to reevaluate your employment decisions.

But the bottom line is, if you want to trust those with whom you work, then do it. Figure it out. Extend your trust. If your trust is violated, then that says a whole lot more about the other person than you. If you understand Inside Out Thinking, you know that you can handle those situations because you don't let other's behavior shake your foundation. You know who you are and are solid in it.

If you are in an organization where trust has become a big issue, it will likely take some time to heal the situation. However, one thing I know for sure is that it won't get better without action. If you keep doing what you've always done, you will continue to get what you've always gotten. It's time to make a change. What do you have to lose? <bio>Kim Olver, MS, NCC, LPC has been involved with social service agencies since 1980, holding a variety of positions from case manager to Assistant Executive Director to Director of Training and Development.
Trust has become a big issue in the world of work. Whenever I am called in to do consulting in the workplace, often I discover some version of lack of trust in the center of the issue. Business people are asking the question, "How can I build trust with my workers, shareholders and community"? Sometimes the question is, "How can I rebuild the trust I lost"?

1. Be transparent. Make sure that you let people around you know your thinking on things. Don't leave them wondering what your motivation is--tell them.

2. When you say you are going to do something, do it. If you put your word on something, follow through. Even if you promised something by a certain time and due to circumstances beyond your control, you can't deliver, contact the person and explain the situation. Don't just wait until you can deliver. Keep people informed at every step.

3. Never say something behind someone's back you wouldn't say directly to that person. Stephen Covey talks about defending those not present by not engaging in gossip and actually defending a person's character and motives when he or she is unavailable to do it himself.

4. Let people know what you stand for, what you will do and won't do in certain situations and then proceed to do exactly as you said you would.

5. Demonstrate consistency. Your people need to know you have a level of predictability. In order to gain trust, it is good if others can predict with relatively accuracy and certainty what your response will be in a given situation.

6. Make decisions consistent with your value system. If your value is honesty, you must be honest. Don't decide being honest can be situational depending upon circumstances. If your value is kindness, don't be mean to certain folks while being kind to those you deem deserve it.

7. Allow people to question you and your motives without becoming defensive. Answer questions honestly until people are satisfied or you decide to agree to disagree. Tell others your hierarchy of priorities so they can understand and trust your decision-making processes.

8. Do not ask people to do things you, yourself, would not do. Explain the usefulness of what you ask others to do.

9. Demonstrate competence in your areas of expertise and continuously improve your knowledge, skills and abilities so people can know you are good and constantly improving at what you do.

10. Demonstrate through actions that you care about your relationships with your people. Listen to and respect them. Acknowledge their strengths and seek their advice on things about which they are knowledgeable. Extend trust to your people. Don't micro manage. Let them know you have faith in their abilities and trust them to do what's best.

Demonstrating these behaviors will go a long way in building trust with others. Trust is an inside out job. You must search inside yourself and decide what type of person you want to be and then engage in the behaviors that will prove this is indeed who you are.<bio>Kim Olver, LPC is an executive coach, staff development specialist, public speaker and consultant.
Although blogging has become a highly popular internet activity, it is hard to be the best of the best. Each day thousands of blogs are created by internet rookies and experts alike. Here are a few questions to ask yourself before beginning this journey.

1) Will blogging really benefit you?

Writing and maintaining a blog will take a high degree of commitment. If you do not enjoy writing very much, you can always create a blog focused on audio or video.

Blogging has benefited many people in the past. They use them to send information to others and interact in small communities. The simple thing to remember is, blogs help to get you noticed on the internet.

2) Who do you want to reach on the internet?

This step is not only important, but also vital to your success online. Whether you want to make money or just blog for fun, people want to know that they can trust you. In other words, you need to build some type of trust with them.

You will want to find some type of target audience to reach. For instance, if you blog about home business opportunities, you will want to try and reach people who want to begin a home based business, or even <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ebay+users" rel="tag">eBay users.

Your blog has the potential to reach people almost anywhere on the internet. Many of them include regular internet users, blog readers, and search engine users.

3) What is your goal as a blogger?

If you decide to create a blog for business purposes they can help you in a number of ways. Blogs can increase your visibility on the internet, help you get your name and business around to many people, build a small community for you, and they can even help to establish your credibility as an expert to build trust.

4) How much time should you spend blogging?

If you are a serious blogger who writes a lot and keeps up with current news, you will tend to spend a great deal of time customizing and updating your blog. If you spend a great deal of time with this, your blog will easily become a great branding tool for you. Even if you do not have a business, you will build trust with other bloggers and visitors.

5) What is the best blogging platform to use?

This question all depends on the type of blogger you are. If you just want to get a feel for what the blogging world is all about, then you should start with a platform such as blogger or type pad. On the other hand, if you want to begin something serious, you will want to start with the word press platform.

All in all, blogging is a great way to interact with the internet community. You can use them to get your name around the net or even enhance your personal business. It is imperative to start a blog as soon as possible and explore the benefits. If you spend the time and have the patience you can easily succeed and become an ultimate blogger.

Copyright 2007 Donald Mckenzie Jr <bio>Donald Mckenzie Jr has been a successful affiliate marketer for more than 2 years.
If you do not have an opt-in list included in your marketing campaign, there is a high probability that you may be losing sales. For those who need extra help with this concept, here are a few tips to succeed:

1) Build trust in every way possible

Get your customers to trust you and your products. If you only launch your opt-in list, it will not make you an expert overnight. Put many articles in first before you start an opt-in list. Write about the topic you know and have used for your site. You may also want to write articles on your own and submit to article directories. This will get your name across the internet and people will respect you as an industry expert.

2) Join forums from many other sites.

Provide expert advice on the topic you have chosen. When you feel that people trust you already, you will be able to start your own opt-in list. You can build a base as well with other forum users. Just simply ask them to join your list. Friends can always prove to be great customers. Provide a link to your site so they will be able to see what you are all about.

3) Make friends with other users in your opt-in list.

This can prove to be highly beneficial especially if it is someone who has previously launched a successful opt-in list. These are people that have the experience in this venture. While there are many articles available for you to use on the internet, there is no comparison to getting a first hand account from someone you trust.

Experienced opt-in list users will be able to tell you what to do because they have gone through it. While this situation is different for many people, the general concept can still be very helpful to you. There are many things to avoid and these people will be able to educate you on what to do.

4) Find something that is high in demand.

Find a product or service that people really want and also need. If you provide a service and product that you have researched and learned about very well, you can carry it on and benefit for yourself. Do your research and find those products so that you can be successful.

While it is true that it is best to sell something that you have interest in, there are only a few people who have the same interest as you. Even if you decide to sell something that is not entirely popular, you can still succeed with proper training. Be sure to provide your subscribers with promotional material that they could use and spread around to others. This will help your business with more possible customers.

All in all, building a profitable opt-in list will help you with sales and business exposure. As your list grows, it is imperative that you maintain the quality. Keep it organized and manageable. Always make sure that your subscribers are happy. This will be very profitable for you in the long run if everything is done right.

Copyright 2007 Donald Mckenzie Jr <bio>Donald Mckenzie Jr has been a successful affiliate marketer for more than 2 years.
When it comes to work on your home business there is probably one thing you haven't thought of. The thing is having a mentor to help you out with your home business. Many people just don't realize that making their first steps into online business world they will need a help of someone more experienced in this field.

A mentor is someone who has been there before. They can give you advice, tell you stories about their own experience, and pass on contacts along with wisdom. When you have a mentor who has been there and done what you are about to do - meaning that they have actually already been in your position, they are going to be much more able to really understand your problems and what you are going through, and really know what it is that you want them to tell you.

There are many places where you can find a mentor, if you are looking for one. Remember that being a mentor is something that really takes time. Therefore, you can not just log onto a site and find someone who is willing to take you under their wing. The best way to find a mentor is to start your networking and start talking to people who have done what you have done before. Contacting the business owners who are old and those who are new and see if you can find some that you really admire and that you really think you'd like to aspire to. If you can find this kind of business, tell the person that you think that they have a business you would like to have some day.

As you build up new relationships and trust with other people you will begin to find lots of different mentors representing different areas and lots of opportunities to take what they have to say and trust them. There are lots of reasons that you should be able to do this, and the biggest reason is that you will be able to take full advantage of anything that they have done before. Remember that a mentor is going to be someone who you can trust, and they are going to be someone who really has an idea about what you are doing and how to help you start it off.

Remember that when it comes to work with the mentor you can have more than one. The good thing here is that you can benefit from the knowledge of a few of them at a time. This is something that people don't realize, but it is possible to take the wisdom and advice from more than one person at one time. This is something that you will be able to do, and it should be something that makes your life even easier as you are working towards being as successful as you can be in the market today. Your different mentors will have different advice to give you, and you should pay attention to all of it because you will probably be able to benefit from each piece of advice that comes your way. In the end you can extract the pieces of knowledge and put them together into one thing that will drive you to success. <bio>Daniel Gebura is an experienced online marketer who helps ordinary people build a successful home business.
With the emergence of blogs as a creditable source of information and entertainment, the timing is perfect for anyone to jump in the market and begin making money with blogging. There are several different formats you can use to accomplish this, but the most important thing to remember is to map out your strategy before typing a single word. Here are some guidelines for learning how to blog for money.

Have an Angle

There are a couple of different ways to approach your blog, and each one depends on your experience and goals. An expert blog is one where the writer has insights and experiences from a particular topic or industry. They give their reader value by exposing things that a novice on the topic may not know.

A commercial blog still focuses on one subject, but instead of pretending to know everything about the subject; it simply recommends products and information related to it. The blogger then receives commissions when the reader purchases a product through the blog's affiliate links. In comparing the two formats, an expert blog is more likely to build instant traffic, but a commercial blog is typically more profitable when done in good taste.

Build Trust

No matter what angle you choose for your blog it is important to build trust with your readers if you want them to purchase products through your affiliate links. While this is relatively easy with an expert blog that provides inside information, a commercial blog will require more work. The fastest way to build trust in this scenario is to offer useful content. This can be done posting helpful articles and honest reviews of related products. Always look back on your blog posts and ask yourself if they provide value to the reader. This is the easiest way to tell if you will attract or repel your visitors.

Recommend

The most effective way to make money blogging is to through the use of product recommendations. This is typically done by reviewing a particular product within a blog post and including an affiliate link to the item. Again, the trust level of the reader is essential for success. By providing accurate details about the product, as well as an unbiased opinion, you can increase the probability that they will make a purchase through your link. Of course a little salesmanship can increase your odds, but be careful not to go overboard and turn the reader off. Be creative and compelling without ruining the trust level you have nurtured.

Learning how to blog for money involves a balanced approach of strategy and marketing ability. Beginners should realize that the entire process will require constant learning and experimentation. Start by mapping out a strategy for your blog. Think about what you will offer your readers and how you will monetize your efforts. From there it is a matter of determining which marketing efforts work most effectively with the reader base. This is best accomplished by trying out multiple techniques and measuring the results. The good news is that once you have discovered a profitable format, you can reproduce the efforts across multiple blogs. This is where the largest profits will be realized. <bio>http://webmonetizers.com </bio>

If you ever heard about surveyed MLM leads, they are one of the most utilized on the Internet today. If you want leads that don't revolve around others already calling upon them a million times, you may want to check out BSP Advertising. We'll start up the review and let you finish it when we are done.

BSP Advertising considers themselves to have the highest quality of surveyed MLM leads you can find. Stating that basically the leads are geared for your businesses and not free $500 gift cards to somewhere. That gives off the feeling you will enjoy what they have to offer, knowing it has a great chance of improving your MLM business.

One thing very interesting with their surveyed MLM leads is the ability to give you some overage. Each lead ranges from .30 each to $1.50 each depending on certain criteria. They understand that there will be bad leads no matter what, so you get a 10% spillover of leads to combat those and even everything out.

Its a great way to build trust in the consumer's eyes and I think they do a good job here. It's evident they want the prices to look as good as possible breaking down the cost of each lead. If you want the freshest of the fresh, you can purchase a minimum of 25 all the way up to 99 for $1.50 a piece. These are no older than 48 hours, giving you some hot prospects.

In fact trust is a deep subject. How do you build that trust to make them want to purchase leads? They sometimes give you 200 prospects free, then some free information on how to build your business using their leads. Then the fun really starts when they start dripping constant email follow-ups on you. If they are a good company they will give you valuable tips showing you how to grow your business using their prospects. Then of course once you see this, knowing the importance you'll go buy some to build your Network Marketing business with.

Then the more you purchase, the more of a discount you get. Something almost every company does today. If you want some of their surveyed MLM leads another great area is the left side.

It gives not just one kind of surveyed MLM lead, but they actually categorize where each can go. Double Opt-In, female surveyed leads, area codes, and so many you'll just have to take a look for yourself. In all though, it really is something that looks on the service as though it will help you reach your goals in some way, shape, or form.

Having a lead quality control system is surely to be beneficial as well. The ability to have your own back office can only strengthen the thought of how to best utilize this program. Really, there isn't anything that is negative from BSP. They have phone numbers to call, daytime live chat, and they encourage you to call or contact them.

If that is not good in any business, let alone surveyed MLM leads well, we just don't know what is. However, we always like to remind you that it's up to you to do extensive research on any company you look into. We are just here to help and give you ideas along the way.<bio>Learn more about Brian Garvin and Jeff West at Internet Marketing Review Kings and MLM Review Kings today.
Are you finding that prospecting and working your andquot;cold marketandquot; is getting chillier these days? I've noticed this, especially in the last year. When I contact people who had responded to an advertisement that my company ran, it is much more difficult to establish rapport than it used to be!

I've been quite surprised to see how much more closed and suspicious people have been compared to when I made phone calls just a year ago. Perhaps the challenges in today's world have made their impact on people. They are more fearful, less likely to trust someone they don't know.

How do you build rapport and build your network marketing business in times like this? You will need a little more patience, but if you persevere and follow these five basic network marketing strategies, you can warm up even the chilliest of cold markets!

First, I'd like to review the basic network marketing strategies that create successful organizations. It's important to understand that the people who excel in network marketing have a large circle of influence. A circle of influence means that there are a lot of people that know you, like you and trust you. If you don't already have a large circle of influence, and you want to succeed in network marketing, you're going to need to build one!

How do you build a circle of influence? One person at a time! It is always best to start with people that you know. Contact them and ask them know for referrals. Participate in your community, attend Chamber of Commerce events, and hold local meetings. You develop yourself into a leader both personally and professionally, to attract other like minded professionals. Online, you do the same in the internet community. You build a presence on the internet with a newsletter list or blog (or both) or website, so that you can build a relationship with people. You provide a way that they can get to know you... like an online photo album, and a personal andquot;Get to Know Meandquot; page.

These are the basics of good network marketing. Once you've contacted the people that you know, you will want to expand your circle of influence even further and get to know some new people! You can do this through advertising or through hiring a network marketing ad agency to advertise for you. Now, how do you handle today's increasingly chilly cold market? Well, you need to take more time to WARM IT UP!!! Here are six network marketing strategies for warming up your cold market.

1. Whenever possible, use offline advertising sources such as postcards, newspapers, radio or TV. These prospects see your ad several times before responding, and are usually MUCH more highly qualified. If your ad is credible, people will trust you more easily.

2. If you must use internet advertising, be sure to use an established and proven leads source which includes the use of an e-mail autoresponder. This will allow you to contact people via e-mail legitimately, without spam complaints. If you are very serious about generating leads online, I recommend you create or purchase your own lead generating website. This takes time but is a lifelong investment if done correctly.

3. When you reach a person by phone, don't rush the relationship building process. Find out what they are looking for, ask good questions, and really listen. Don't be pushy, focus on their needs. If you're new at working your cold market, team up with a successful leader in your upline who is experienced.

4. Offer something of value that is free like a report, eBook or consultation, that will both qualify and educate your prospect and that will also introduce you as part of the process. For example, on your free report include a link to your online photo album and your biography or andquot;Get to Know Meandquot; page.

5. Follow up several times to build familiarity and credibility with your prospect. Use an autoresponder to help you in this, but don't depend on it. There is nothing like a good, old fashioned conversation to build trust. Sending a postcard in the mail also helps a lot!

6. Be a real person. Tell, don't sell! Avoid sales pitches, instead, share your own story. Network marketing is about being your authentic best self. Let your heart and your integrity shine, and people will remember you and trust you. When they are ready to try your product or join your team, they will call you! <bio>Tarama Esgoode has been network marketing since 2001. She writes about </bio>

In your work as nanny, you will experience the growing trend towards a nanny surveillance state. It is a fact that you need to accept with empathy because if you were in the parents' place, you would probably install a nanny surveillance system, too. With empathy in mind, you can better adopt these tips on how to survive work surveillance.

Be Direct

You have the right to ask your employers to limit the hidden spy cameras to common areas like the living room, dining room, kitchen, family den, laundry area, bedrooms used by the family, and the yard. At no instance are spy cameras allowed in your bedroom (if you are a live-in nanny) and the bathrooms. This is for the protection of your privacy, which you have every right to demand.

This will serve notice to your employers that you know and accept nanny surveillance, but only to a limited extent. You have to be very clear on this point.

Set Agreements

As a nanny, you need to discuss with your employers matters related to child discipline and routine, childcare duties like feeding, school activities, and recreation. Be as specific as possible to avoid misunderstandings and take down notes, if possible.

You can always refer to the agreements set on that first meeting when issues come up. Even with hidden spy cameras on your employers' side, you can reference their concerns against previous agreements.

Know That It Works Both Ways

The nanny surveillance system can be used to your advantage, too. You can actually use video footages to prove your point, discuss child-rearing methods, and come up with solutions to problems. Think about the movie "The Nanny Diaries" and you get the drift.

For example, in cases where parents dispute your claims about a child behaving negatively, you can gently direct them to video footages of the time in question. Pictures speak a thousand words and moving pictures speak a thousand more.

Also, you will feel more secure knowing that the parents are watching via spy cameras. It will be like feeling you have security detail to watch for any untoward activity like break-ins and fires. Indeed, having a Big Brother has its advantages!

Be Confident About Your Capabilities

You have to be self-assured and confident about your nanny abilities. The children and parents can sense if you are not, which does not bode well for your longevity on the job. Try to stay calm, cool and collected most of the time, even if you do not feel like it.

When you are confident, even the best surveillance system turned 24/7 will not deter you in competently performing your nanny duties. You will just breeze through your work and forget that spy cameras are there to monitor every breath you take.

Build Mutual Trust

Do not expect to build mutual trust within the first few weeks. Though you can earn a child's trust easily enough, the parents' trust is another matter. However, the fact that you were employed says a lot about the initial level of trust that you can build on. Go slowly but surely.

Once you have mutual trust and respect, the nanny surveillance system will be rendered moot and academic. It will be perceived as a symbol of distrust that should be taken down to give way for trust.

With these tips in mind, you are now ready to tackle the pervasive nanny surveillance state with flying colors!<bio>For more information on how a hidden nanny cam can affect your working life, visit Video-Surveillance-Guide.com.
The ability to gain and keep trust is a vital factor in being able to influence others. Research has shown, time and time again, that trust is always a contributing factor in the ability to influence others. When a person trusts you, trust alone can cause them to accept your message. On the flip side, if people don't trust you, all the evidence, reasoning, facts, or figures in the world won't get them to budge.

Trust can be an ambiguous concept, but certain things are quite clear: You can't get others to trust you unless you trust yourself first. Your message will not be convincing to others unless it's convincing to you. Whenever someone tries to influence us, we ask ourselves, "Can I trust this person? Do I believe him? Is she really concerned about me?" We are less likely to be influenced if we sense that the person is driven solely by self-interest. Never assume that people trust you.

Always show the world you are someone to be trusted, no matter what the circumstances are. You can gain and enhance trust by doing the following:

•Keep your promises •Be reliable •Under-promise and over-deliver •Admit your failures and weaknesses •Use logic with your emotion •Exhibit true concern for and about others •Never assume people completely trust you •Tell people only as much as they'll believe •Tell the truth, even if it hurts •Downplay any benefits to you

The Five C's of Trust, will all help you gain the trust you need to have lasting influence. Let me illustrate how these elements work in a story. Imagine you're experiencing extreme tooth pain. You've put off going to the dentist as long as possible, but now nature's telling you your time has run out. You recently relocated, so your previous dentist is 2,000 miles away and no longer an option. You ask your new friends and neighbors about their dentists and get the following five responses:

1. My dentist has great CHARACTER. He is one of the most honest people I know. He's not very competent, though. I heard he's famous for sticking the needle completely through your cheek.

Would you go to this dentist?

2. My dentist is one of the top dentists in the state. He's extremely COMPETENT, but kind of a crook. He has no character. He's been caught a few times for over billing and also sometimes fills more cavities than you actually have. Would you go to this dentist?

3. My dentist doesn't have much CONFIDENCE in his work. One time he said to me, "I've never been very good at reading x-rays. I feel unsure about whether I should give you a root canal or just leave the tooth alone. Look at this x-ray and tell me what you think." Would you go to this dentist?

4. I'm not sure my dentist is licensed. I didn't see any degree or diplomas on his wall, and no one seems to know where he went to school. His office doesn't have the latest equipment. He even asked me to pay cash instead of writing a check. He has no CREDIBILITY in my book. Would you go to this dentist?

5. My dentist is a nice guy, but he doesn't keep his stories straight. CONGRUENCY and CONSISTENCY are not his strong suits. Last year he said I'd probably have to get a root canal on my molar the next time I came in. When I came back, I asked him about the root canal on my molar, and he said, "You don't need a root canal on that tooth. Who told you that?" Would you go to this dentist?

I'm sure you would spend more time trying to find a dentist who met all five criteria. A deep and lasting sense of trust will not exist without all five characteristics being present. We know if a person is lacking in just one of these areas, it will affect every aspect of their ability to build, gain, and maintain trust.

Do People Trust You???

Consider the results from the Gallup poll on Trust and Honesty:

* Pharmacist -- 64% * Clergy -- 59% * Medical doctors -- 57% * College teachers -- 53% * Policeman -- 49% * Bankers -- 30% * Journalists -- 22% * Business exec -- 21% * Stock brokers -- 19% * Congressman -- 17% * Real estate agents -- 16% * Lawyers -- 14% * Insurance sales -- 11% * Advertisers -- 10% * Car sales -- 5% <bio>Kurt Mortensen's trademark is Magnetic Persuasion; you should attract customers, just like a magnet attracts metal filings.
We're all aware of the current revolution in business known as value-first marketing. Because of the over-saturation of marketing messages in today's world, the average consumer has become desensitized to advertisements and skeptical of product claims. Today's consumers want to sample the product before they buy. They want proof the product can deliver as promised.

The result of this revolution is that marketers are forced to provide value first and only attempt to sell a product or service later. And you can see this type of thing all over the internet today. Everywhere you look, you can get a free report and have access to a free tool or utility, all in the name of building trust with the hope of a subsequent sale hanging in the balance.

Indeed, consumers have become accustomed to the new protocols and are enjoying the free articles, free forum posts, free reports and free tools being thrown their way at every click. The problem for marketers is that it's easy to get caught in the trust-building phase and never graduate to the profitable phase of business. Bottom line; products or services need to get sold!

There is nothing wrong with providing value first. In fact, the opportunities to build true customer loyalty are far greater when the customer has actually sampled the product and received real value before being forced to pull out their wallet. But that same customer has to know you are a business right from the beginning.

The profit motive must be communicated at the front end. Even if you plan to provide value and build trust over an extended period of time, the customer must know your business exists to sell products or services. And regardless how many free resources are provided, the customer must be reminded of the revenue model throughout the trust-building phase.

A lot of this has to do with psychology. When a new visitor first sees your website, you own the frame. At that moment, you control their experience and you can define it any way you wish. The squeeze pages and sales letters are all e-commerce and provide no pre-revenue value. Wikipedia provides all pre-revenue value and has no e-commerce. The trick is to reveal the profit motive proactively while simultaneously providing value to build trust.

The problem with pitch-page sites is that their traffic virtually stops after the marketing campaign ends. While such sites can still generate impressive revenue and profits, the opportunity for an ongoing sales funnel after the initial market blitz ends is limited. By contrast, websites that provide real value develop loyal growing audiences; visitors that come back again and again; visitors that view the site as a resource.

The pitch-page approach is a passing phenomenon. It's just one step in a maturing market; a market full of people frantically trying to capitalize on the potential before it's too late. But the biggest potential rests with those sites that provide real value and build stable loyal followings. That approach will generate far more revenue over time than the squeeze pages will. It's just a matter of time. <bio>Tactical Execution with Patrick Schwerdtfeger (http://www.tacticalexecution.com) is a strategic company focused on growth marketing and program implementation across business markets.
