Here's another great game to play:

The Shell Game.

Here's what you'll need:

- Three small, identical buckets approximately one gallon size. Or, you can use empty coffee cans if you like.

- Kibble or doggie cookies.

- A leash and training collar.

- One hungry puppy.

Here's what you do:

Place your dog in a down-stay, in the kitchen.

- If you don't know how to teach your dog to lay down and STAY DOWN until you tell him to get up, take a look at this: http://www.dogproblems.com/downstay.htm

Next, walk into your living room and place the three buckets side-by-side, with the mouth on the ground (upside down). Leave about one foot of space between each bucket.

Put a doggie-cookie under one of the buckets.

Now, return to your dog, give him your andquot;releaseandquot; command, and walk him over to the buckets.

Say, andquot;Where's the cookie?andquot;

Encourage your dog to smell the buckets. When he gets excited about the bucket with the cookie under it, praise him lavishly. Then, kick the bucket over and let him get the cookie.

Repeat this process by switching the bucket the cookie is hidden under.

Once your dog starts to get the hang of the game, you can add more complexity by spacing the buckets further apart. You may also add more buckets.

I like to teach a dog to give an active indication when he finds the bucket with the cookie... such as scratching the side of the bucket, or barking. You can also teach your dog to andquot;Sitandquot; next to the bucket with the cookie.

Initially you'll find that your dog will likely go back to the previous bucket that hid the cookie. Don't lift the bucket up until he finds the one that actually contains the cookie.

That's all for now, folks! Adam <bio>Adam G.
Fork Lift Attachments Include Quick Tach and Universal Fit Forklift Buckets.

As companies look to recession proof their operations and reduce overhead, unnecessary equipment purchases and rentals are the first things to be removed from next quarter's purchase order. Loaders have become a cumbersome expense to most construction companies, who are beginning to realize the cost effectiveness and true versatility offered by forklift buckets. For less than it cost to rent a loader for two months, you can purchase a forklift bucket that transforms your extendable reach forklift into a material handling and loading device with greater range than standard loaders and far more adaptability to a number of mission critical applications. Everything from dumping trash into a dumpster blocked by debris piles to placing gravel on a large, flat rooftop can be quickly, safely, and be safely and quickly accomplished.

Forklift buckets are commonly divided into two categories: quick tach and universal fit (slip on the forks), described in detail below.

Quick-Tach Buckets

These models are designed for "extendable-reach" forklifts and allow you to place material far beyond the reach of a loader. A heavy duty hardened beveled cutting blade on both the sides and the leading edge provides durability, strength, and resistance to wear and tear. Quick-tack fork lift buckets are reinforced by scuff bars along the bottom of the unit that shield it from abrasive wear. They can be used to replace that carriage and forks that weigh between 700-100 lbs. When installed, they free up more of the forklift's load capacity so it can handle larger and heavier materials. The Quick-Tach can dump materials approximately about 1.5 ft. higher because of the shorter depth of its bucket. Quick-Tach buckets are customized to specific makes and models of forklifts, so ask one of our construction equipment specialists about buckets for your make and model.

These forklift attachments are ideal for ground level work on new construction sites. They can be used for sand and gravel loading, and they can be used for moving snow in northern climates. At the end of the day, the same forklift attachment can be used for jobsite clean-up. Consider the time this saves by switching tasks without having to switch tools and risk running into overtime.

Universal Fit Bucket (slip on the forks)

Universal Fit forklift buckets are also called "slip-on-the-forks" forklift attachment buckets. They can be used with any make and model of extendable reach forklift, so if your unit cannot be matched with a quick tach unit, we can locate a new or used Universal Fit bucket for you instead. Standard universal fork lift buckets attach to forks that are 48" long and up to 6" wide, but larger fork pockets can be ordered through an account manager upon request.

Because universal fit forklift buckets slip on to the forks directly, they stay on the machine and are less vulnerable to damage. They are also 50% deeper than quick-tach buckets. This makes them ideal for carrying irregular shaped loads such as broken up concrete, elevating roof gravel, tearing off roof trash, moving large debris piles, and backfilling behind high walls.<bio>Easy Rack.
A HOT, generally known BUCKET also under the name of jacuzzi or simply thermal spa at the house, is a large manufactured bucket or a small swimming pool completely of the water of heating and used mainly for steeping, relieving, the massage, or hydrotherapy. The hot buckets are usually the located outside-of-doors, because of their enormous, and come weight equipped with the multiple voyage out of jet. There are two kinds different of hot buckets 1. - Hot Buckets out of wooden dishes 2. - Hot Buckets in Fibre figure of glass-Reinforced (thermal spas) With the hot buckets are in the majority of the cases heated by means of electricity or natural gas.

Nevertheless, of the hot buckets can also be found in kind, hot springs being a perfect example, although the temperatures of water can usually exceed those which the human ones can resist without supporting of the serious damage, thus artificial devices of cooling by water are usually used in commercial sectors. The hot buckets out of wooden resemble the shape of an enormous barrel, being made bars out of wooden and steel bands, and theres of interior one to put except play around the internal border to rest above. the thermal spas Fibre of glass-reinforced, on the one hand, are structures of only one part which provide a variety of options of allowance of the places. Each seat is often equipped with water travels out of jet which makes it possible water to be directed to the parts of the body, thus to provide massage-like the experiment. The hot glass fibre buckets dominate the market as while being less expensive to manufacture, easy-with-install, and more ideal efficiency. On the same note, the effective insulation improves considerably the energy effectiveness of a thermal spa.

There are several various models of hot insulation of bucket. Naturally, the manufacturers announce the advantages of their techniques of insulation, although few comparisons of independent coast at coast are currently available. The hot buckets have usually at least two water pumps. A small pump circulatrice serves the heating and the loop of the water of filtration and the other order travel out of jet. The outside of the bucket is called a shell, and is composed of external layer and understructure which are moulded together at a certain time in the manufacturing process. The surface of the hot bucket is basically the color, the glance and the feeling of the thermal spa, thus it must be made to resist corrosion due to the constant use.

Some shells at end high have the special coatings to make their more spot resistant or to make mould the anti-bacterial components in the material of shell. The understructure of the shell is made of glass fibre, and provides the hot need for buckets of force to support hundreds of gallons of water. The hot buckets require regular maintenance, although, particularly in the climates where they are exposed to the wind, the rain, with snow, or with the effects of drying of the hot sunlight. The hot buckets manufactured starting from synthetic materials become very popular because they require very small maintenance to maintain their aspect. One of the principal reasons, in our opinion, youd wants to obtain a hot bucket, is the good old woman curative power of hot water.

The hot therapy of water was employed throughout mill=E9niums to treat all kinds of various physical or mental problems, and today you can bring it to your back-yard. If you suffer from the constant effort, the problems of sleep or the various pain of muscle, your own private hot bucket will obtain to you through in the fine model.
Skid steer buckets can be used for a wide variety of tasks. Low profile duty skid steer buckets are used to haul dirt. Other heavy duty units are made for just for utility work. Agricultural clients have two choices for field work. They can use a model designed especially for spreading fertilizer, and another, similar model for cotton seed. Easy Rack also sells skid steer buckets specifically designed for utility work, and a snow and light material unit for extreme winter conditions in northern climates.

Although specialized for different applications, all bucket types can be customized. Heavy duty shanks can be welded to the cutting blade to increase pickup power. These teeth are 2-1/4" across the point and weld straight onto the blade. In heavy duty applications that are extremely demanding, adding a punched blade with bolt-on-blade will increase the life of your skid steer bucket. Users consistently report an increase of up to 3 times the wear when they add this option.

Regardless of application, all Easy Rack skid steer buckets share key features that make them some of the most heavy duty skid steer attachments you can use on your construction site. The top of the bucket is called the "hard hat" section because it provides an exceptionally strong reinforcement against rough use and impact. Buckets also feature dual safety stops to make them more controllable, and beveled hard carbon steel side blades to strengthen and protect the bucket sides. Skid steer buckets are further strengthened by seams that are fully welded. The square bottom of each bucket type allows you to back drag the unit over dirt to level it. Scuff bars reinforce the bottom to prevent excessive wear. Skid steer buckets fit almost any loader with a 3/8", plate steel universal quick tach that is designed to fit a variety of loader brands.

All units feature a standard low profile design that allows the operator to see over the leading edge. Other profiles can also be ordered by special request. Talk to an Easy Rack specialist about these options.

In some applications, however, standard model type skid steer buckets produce less than desirable results. Because they are solid, they scoop up everything. A new design now makes it possible to actually scoop and sift for certain projects that require only larger materials to be moved. The ribbed-bottom skid steer bucket features an open ribbed bottom that allows dirt and smaller materials (2 " or smaller) to fall through the ground without dropping larger materials.

Ribbed bottom skid steer buckets are low cost specialty tools that are excellent for virtually any specialized application. Everyone from demolition experts, scrap handling crews, farmers, and construction teams use them extensively. Ribbed-bottom skid steer buckets are rapidly becoming favored tools among landscaping crews because they are ideal for moving rocks. They are also used more and more for sorting masonry materials. Debris cleanup crews prefer ribbed-bottom buckets because they sift out dirt and sand and grab chunks of concrete, boards, and trash more easily.

Specifications to note include optional heavy duty teeth, universal quick-tach attachments for quick, secure fit to all modern loaders, and punched blade design for optional bolt-on-blade.<bio>easyrack.org.
If you need to get water from one place to another, it seems to be common sense that you would build a pipeline to get the most water for the least amount of work, using technology. But the reality is, most people are taught to overlook the obvious in favor of the most familiar approach.

Consider this story, told by Robert Kiyosaki in his book, "Cash Flow Quadrant."

There once was a village that had to wait for the rain in order to have water. This was a major problem for the village, and so the chief asked for bids from anyone who thought they could solve the water problem. Two men stepped forward. Thinking that competition would be good for the village's economy, the chief put both of them to work solving the problem.

The First Man immediately disappeared. This made the Second Man very happy. He set to work immediately, hauling buckets of water from the river to dump into the village reservoir. The villagers were very happy with the new situation, as they no longer had to wait for the rain. The Second Man didn't mind working day and night hauling water, because he was making money on the deal.

After six months, however, the First Man returned. He had with him a construction crew and an engineer. In no time at all, there was a pipeline to run water from the river to the even bigger reservoir he had his crew build for the villagers. What's more, he offered his greater quantity of water to them for much less than Second Man could offer his for. But Second Man was not to be daunted. He redoubled his efforts and even put his sons to work hauling water, but he could never match the First Man's output. The First Man eventually offered his services to nearby villages and became a rich man, while the Second Man worked hard all his life for a modest income.

Now, consider Kiyosaki's words: "I've always asked myself if I am building a pipeline or hauling buckets of water."

Most people are taught to haul buckets of water, because they are taught that they should get a good job, which they will depend on for their income. It is common sense to get a job if you are in need of money, right? Yes, it is. But the common sense approach isn't always the best approach, simply because what may seem to be the answer at the outset often involves overlooking alternative methods of making money. Those alternative methods may seem to be indirect methods.

Not that there is anything wrong with a more direct approach. Indeed, if all you need is a modest amount of "water," then hauling buckets, or working a job, may be fine for you. But it won't make you rich. You will not become rich until you figure out how to get the most "water" for the least amount of work. This is because there are only so many hours in the day you can work. Most jobs won't make you rich even if you could work at top efficiency for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The system just isn't set up to work that way.

What you need to do, is build a pipeline. Real estate investing is your financial pipeline. It is a way to get the most money to flow your way with the least amount of work.

How long do you really want to haul buckets? <bio>Investment Property Specialist - Alex Anderson Connects Real Estate Investors With High-Quality Investment Properties.
Grapple buckets make it possible to ergonomically move bulky, hard-to-handle materials easily and securely. When it comes to tree removal or clearing land for paving and construction, they are ideal for loading and piling logs, limbs, and brush. The design of the grapple bucket itself allows dirt and sand to fall to the ground while larger pieces of wood, rubble, and debris remain in the bucket. The grapple tines on the end of the bucket curve upward to prevent contents from spilling onto the ground. The curvature of the tines also has another important benefit. It prevents utility lines and cables from being snagged during trash cleanup and tree removal after storms.

Grapple buckets are idea for land clearing. Their ability to uproot tree roots that are still in the ground and carry them away helps clear areas around buildings fast and efficiently. They are excellent tools for clearing away debris after demolition work has been done. Excess construction debris can be quickly removed with grapple buckets. In areas where storms have devastated foliage, they are essential tools in the cleanup of storm debris. Grapple buckets are also a vital mainstay of landscaping projects. They are used from everything from clearing out brush to moving earthworks.

Root grapples and grapple buckets feature a number of benefits that make them dependable, rugged tools for tough construction and cleanup operations. For one thing, they are designed with hydraulic cylinders that allows the bucket to flexibility adjust itself to the diameter, circumference, and unequal weight distribution of cumbersome and uneven loads. This prevents the unit from becoming top- heavy and creating a safety hazard, and it helps extend the life of the unit. To further minimize wear and tear on the grapple bucket, hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and fittings are protected with covers. All pivot points are lubricated with grease zerks to maintain flexibility and avoid stress to moving parts. To accommodate an optional bolt-on-blade, cutting edges are punched so the blade can be fitted securely to the grapple bucket. Additional tines can be added if the space between existing tines is too small. This is often done when moving piles of rubble or in landscaping work where a large amount of leaves, twigs, and other small trash items have to gripped firmly to avoid spillage.

Demolition Grade Grapple Buckets Make Heavy-Duty Work Faster and Safer

If you are fitting a grapple bucket to a "track" style skid steer, 70hp or greater skid steer, or skid steer rated at or above 3,500 lbs., we recommend you invest in a demolition grade unit. Demolition grade units feature cylinder hoses routed in an enclosed tube. This built-in covering provides much needed heavy duty protection for fittings in heavy industrial applications.

Demolition grade units offer larger capacity for uneven and extremely heavy loads with reinforcement gussets, and reliable performance is ensured by heavier component manufacture throughout. Grapples on these buckets open wide for full loads. The bottom of the bucket is reinforced by steel plate ribs measuring " thick.

Additional options for demolition grade grapple buckets include end plates that contain loose materials and raised rings that protect grease fittings from damage. Ask your account manager about which of these options is best for your next project.<bio>Easy Rack.
A bucket attachment slips onto the front of a forklift or a skid-steer, transforming it into a device for a specialized application. Depending on what application it is intended for and also on heavy equipment brand and model, it features either a universal fit or quick tach attachment. With the right set of bucket attachments, one or two fork trucks or skid steers is all you need to run an operation where multiple, specialized tasks must be performed safely and quickly. Just a few of these applications follow.

Forklift bucket attachments eliminate the need for loaders. Their smaller, streamlined design allows them to access hard-to-reach places where loaders cannot go. Quick tach bucket attachments are ideal for loading sand and gravel, and they can also be used at the end of the day for construction site cleanup. In extreme northern climates, they are routinely employed to move snow. Universal, "slip over the forks" buckets are excellent loaders for elevating roof gravel to the tops of buildings. They can also be used to unload the roof area of tear off trash. When crews need to backfill high walls, a universal fit bucket is usually the preferred tool of choice.

Forklift self-dump bucket attachments transform forklifts into loaders. Designed to slip over the forks of any modern fork truck in a matter of minutes, these buckets require no hydraulics and no modifications whatsoever to the fork truck. These buckets are ideal attachments to use for loading loose materials. The cubic yard capacity makes this bucket attachment ideal for landscape work, masonry, and for moving small quantities of dirt, sand, gravel, mulch, and top soil. It is also particularly useful as a clean-up tool at the end of the day.

Different designs exist for different applications, so each skid steer bucket attachment varies according to its use. Dirt moving models have lower sides and back to make loading and unloading easier. Snow and light material buckets, along with fertilizer buckets, can handle significantly more volume. Utility buckets and cotton seed bucket attachments are deeper in order to hold more contents and to avoid spilling them. All five models can be fitted with optional heavy duty teeth and bolt on blades to increase their pickup power and to prolong their lifestyle in situations involving excessive wear and tear. The newest design, the ribbed-bottom or "skeleton" bucket attachment, has become very popular very quickly in applications that require sifting smaller debris and dirt away from larger materials being loaded and transported.

Root Grapplers let you do more than simply load and pile logs and brush. They make it easy to move bulky, hard-to-handle materials safely and quickly. After major hurricanes, tropical storms, and tornados, they are the best choice for demolition and cleanup of storm debris. One of the biggest benefits they offer is their ability to sift out dirt when moving larger piles of trash and heavy dirt. Utility lines and cables remain safe because the tines of a root grapple bucket attachment curve upward and outward to prevent accidental snagging.

A concrete placement bucket attachment is one of those simple tools that work better than a complicated one. It has no moving parts and no chute to tear up. The simple design makes it easy to use, and its extra high back makes it splatter proof so it won't waste materials.<bio>easyrack.org.
Self-dumping forklift loader buckets are ideal attachments to add to any inventory on a tight budget. As an alternative to front in loaders, they represent viable and much less expensive alternatives to loaders. By slipping over the forks of your forklift, the self-dumping bucket transforms your fork truck into a loader into a matter of minutes. This quick and convenient attachment requires no modification to your forklift, and provides an ideal material handling tool for moving loose materials. Just a few of the many applications you can use self-dumping forklift buckets for include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Moving fill dirt into uneven terrain
2. Moving dirt for foundation work
3. Moving mulch to areas around trees and shrubbery
4. Moving sand needed for concrete mixing
5. Moving excess gravel from temporary driveways
6. Collecting and hauling away trash and small debris

Easy Rack's self-dumping forklift attached front end loader buckets are available in three sizes: , , and cubic feet. In addition to loading, hauling, and cleanup around new construction sites, they are also ideal tools for specialized masonry work and landscaping services. Moving earthworks with a loader may be efficient, but it is also expensive, and some loaders are too large to fit into confined areas near trees and gardens. Masonry work is also often performed in cramped quarters either between or near two or more walls. Forklift buckets can maneuver much more safely in these tight quarters and take up less space--leaving workers more freedom of movement for manual tasks.

At the end of the day, when cleanup time comes, its saves time, manpower, and money to simply attach a self-dumping forklift bucket to a fork truck that is already in use. Piles of rubble, small broken boards, paper trash, discarded boxes, and discarded containers can all be scooped up quickly and safely and taken to the trash. One licensed forklift driver who know what he is doing can get the job faster than 5 people on foot picking up trash and debris by hand. Consider the value of eliminating ongoing day labor costs for the one-time cost of construction cleanup tool that a single licensed fork truck driver can use over and over again.

Self-dumping forklift buckets by Easy Rack are extremely easy to operate. Forks slip into the bucket support, securing the unit to the forklift and allowing the bucket to pivot when the safety lock is disengaged. You can then either use the remote rope release to trigger the bucket, (from the ground or a seated position) or you can remain seated and trip the bucket with the handle at the back of the unit.

The self-dumping forklift bucket automatically resets itself when it is lowered to the ground, allowing it to be lifted and used again. The safety mechanism on the bucket prevents it from accidentally dumping it contents when moving over uneven terrain. Heavy duty components and sound engineering design ensure years of reliable performance from this forklift attachment. Its user-friendliness and comparatively low cost makes it an ideal investment for the occasional user who does not need to purchase a separate loader.<bio>Easyrack.org.
The days of getting down on your hands and knees to scrub your floors are over thanks to the Hoover floor cleaner. Hoover makes a nice selection of floor cleaners that do everything from sweeping to scrubbing floors.

Most of us like the look of a clean floor but many do not have time to scrub. The Hoover Floor Mate is a perfect choice as an all in one floor cleaner. Not only does it vacuum up crumbs and particles on your bare floors, but it also works to mop the floor and even dry the floor when finished!

I was thrilled to get one of these items for a gift and couldn't believe how much it saved time in every day cleaning. Not only that, my floors glistened like new when I was finished using the Hoover Floor Mate.

The Hoover Floor Mate looks like an upright vacuum cleaner. It has two tanks; one for vacuuming up particles and the other that holds different solutions and water to make scrubbing your floors a breeze. There are two different varieties of the Floor Mate, the Spin Scrub 500 and the Spin Scrub 800. I have the Spin Scrub 800 that has seven brushes and a removable squeegee.

There are different tools and accessories with each machine. In addition to extension tools, my Hoover Floor Mate also has two tools that can be used for cleaning grout. Hoover makes two different solutions that can be added to clean the floors and grout in your kitchen or bathroom. It is necessary to use the correct solutions for each job as grout is very porous and can be difficult to clean. I was pleased to see that the Hoover Floor Mate did an excellent job in cleaning the grout in between my floor tiles.

I also used the extension to clean the grout on the tub walls. Hoover makes this easy as it has a long attachment hose. I found this to be a fast, effective way to clean all of my grout.

When I was finished cleaning, a simple flick of the switch enabled me to dry the floors and grout in record time. No more sitting around, waiting for the floor to dry.

For smaller projects, you may like the Hoover Impulse Cordless mop. This compact upright cleaner resembles a stick vacuum cleaner but can be used to wash and dry your floor as well as get to spills right away. Anyone who has a kitchen floor knows that scrubbing is always better than mopping. Mopping tends to slosh dirty water all around, whereas scrubbing makes the floor sparkle. But few of us want to get down on our hands and knees to scrub and many do not have the time. This is what is so wonderful about Hoover floor cleaners. They scrub the floor with less effort than it takes to mop the floor. Don't let the name fool you - the Cordless mop does not simply toss dirty water around the floor. It works to remove dirt, clean the floor, vacuums up the dirty water and even dries the floor when finished.

No matter what your needs, there is a Hoover floor cleaner available to help you clean your floors. Say goodbye to scrub brushes and buckets and say hello to a Hoover.

Wilhelm(at)bestfloorcleaning.com <bio>Save time cleaning your carpets with a Bissell steam cleaner by visiting http://www.bestfloorcleaning.com a popular carpet and hard floor cleaning website containing advice, resources and tips on cordless vacuum cleaner, roomba vacuum cleaner and carpet steam cleaners. </bio>

Easy Rack has a number of specialized skid steer loader attachments specifically designed for safe, rapid execution of difficult tasks on heavy construction sites and special landscaping and clean-up projects.

Concrete Mixers and Placement Buckets

Easy Rack has two different concrete mixers that attach to skid steers. Both have their advantages and benefits. The skid steer drum mixer features a quick tach attachment and rotating cylinder design that lets you mix up 6 cubic feet per cement or concrete at a time. The scoop in place bucket mixer attaches to your skid steer and allows you to load up the gravel and sand, rotate it into the mixing position, add cement, mix, and pour. The genius of both devices provides you with a ready mix solution any time you need to pour small amounts of concrete at a time. Our concrete placement bucket, yet another skid steer attachment that encourages independence from third party mixing companies, features a simple design that lets you pour your concrete without spillage due to its high back that makes it "splash proof"

Forkframe Attachments

If you need your skid steer to behave like a fork truck, Easy Rack forkframe attachments for skid steers provide you with the maneuverability and power you need. Operators can see through frame openings in order to be able to maneuver these skid steer attachments into position and pick up large, cumbersome loads like piles of railroad ties. The captive forks will hold steady and not sway during transport, or when their contents are dumped.

Skid Steer Buckets

The hydraulic cylinders on these heavy duty skid steer attachments allow them to independently adjust for uneven loads. The cutting edge is notched for optional customization with a bolt-on-blade. Intermediate bottom tines can be added to reduce gaps and increase gripping and pickup power.

Root Grapplers

These skids steer attachments are much more than tree root removal tools. They can also be used to move and stack piles of brush, logs, and fallen limbs--a characteristic that makes them invaluable for cleanup and demolition of storm debris. Utility lines and cables remain safe in the meantime, because root grapple buckets have tines that curve upward to prevent unwanted snagging.

Crane Jibs

Crane jibs are attachments for industrial skid steer that adds 5' to loader lift high and increases horizontal reach by 6'. Contractors love the crane jib because it can pick up and carry up to 1,000 lbs and place it in areas that larger equipment cannot reach. Jobs like handling and setting pipe, loading generators, an light steel erection would be so much harder without a crane jib. Landscapers love it as much as contractors, too. They use crane jib attachments to load, carry, and set trees and large plants. The extra lift height these remarkable skid steer attachments offer make it possible to safely pick up trees above the balance point<bio>easyrack.org. These programs allow you to make an agreement with the creditor to pay back a smaller portion of the bill either in a lump sum, or with a manageable payment.

Rising debts on your credit card

It could start out with a failure to pay just one monthly payment or perhaps you have always been making a partial payment on the card. This can gradually increase the interest rates on the card. As the monthly payments increase you find yourself with a rising debt rate which you never bargained for initially. Most people make the mistake of not opting for a credit card debt settlement program in time which can compound the situation. With the rising payments on your credit card bills, you find yourself unable to make any further payments which eventually lead to harassing calls from the bank's collection agencies.

Collection calls: another hazard

Usually, most credit card companies will pay collection agencies to extract money from their customers. So, if you have been delinquent and have not been making your monthly payments, you can be rest assured you will start receiving harassing calls. Make sure to avail a credit card debt settlement program. Many times such agencies have been known to use abusive verbiage and even resort to physical threats. Often, the collections agencies have been known to call at all odd hours whether you are at work or at home. If you have been facing such issues then you must report it to the authorities. If you want to stop such threatening calls then you need to sign up for a credit card debt settlement program that can help you out. There are plenty of genuine credit card debt settlement programs available that negotiate with the credit card company to reduce your debts for you.

Delinquency buckets

There are various stages to accumulating debts on your credit cards. Usually, most credit card companies have their own system of gauging delinquency. There are various buckets or stages that measure how many times a customer has defaulted in payment or has skipped a payment. As you keep missing on payments, your delinquency rate also rises. Eventually, once your delinquency rate reaches the last acceptable stage (by which time collections agents would have harassed you no end) your assets and security that you placed as security will be confiscated. Many persons have even been known to be placed behind bars for failing to repay the bank their money. If you want to avoid getting imprisoned, then you need to subscribe to a credit card debt settlement program that can clear up your debts in time. A good quality credit card debt settlement company will negotiate with your credit card company and reduce the total payment to a much smaller amount. Many credit card debt settlement companies have even been known to slash the debts by as much as 50%!<bio>Do you REALLY want to get out of debt?
Whether you are building a new barn, or refurbishing an old one, there are many things that you need to keep in mind as you make your designs. Here are five important things you will want to consider as your make your plans.

1. Will you be Boarding or Keeping your Own Horses?

If you are looking to board horses, you will need to plan your barn with more amenities that you might have considered if you only planned to keep your own horses. Boarders choose their facilities according to what the barn offers, and this includes "extras" such as wash stalls, bathrooms, grooming areas and indoor arenas. While these may cost more at first, you will be able to retrieve some of that money by charging a higher board rate than you would be able to otherwise.

2. What type of Flooring is Best?

Dirt floors are easiest of course, but be aware that it does not take long for the dirt to get worn down and need repair. Stone screenings drain well and pack down to a hard surface, but horses can still dig holes, so the screenings need to be replenished eventually. Cement can get slippery and while adding texture helps, it tends to wear off over time. Asphalt also is a decent floor, but it is hard on the legs. With both cement and asphalt the stalls usually need rubber stall mats to protect the horses when they sleep. Interlocking brick looks great at first, but over time the bricks shift and become uneven. Take your time to explore all your flooring options and choose one that is both durable and safe. It might cost a bit more, but not having to re-floor the barn every two years is worth it.

3. How will you Distribute Water?

While the hose and bucket method works well enough, it is labor intensive, and leaking hoses are terribly frustrating in cold winter weather. Many barns set up automatic watering systems, which are practical, but hard to keep clean. Another neat option is to set up a system that has piping and taps for each stall, allowing you to fill the buckets at the stall. The buckets are easily removed for cleaning as necessary. Whatever system you use, it is essential to have a reliable source of water at the barn, which doesn't freeze in cold weather.

4. Plan your Exits

There is nothing more frustrating than having a barn that you can't get in or out of. Be sure that you not only have adequate entrances, but that they are accessible. There should be at least two entrances at least four feet wide through which horses can easily pass, and one or more people entrances in addition to the horse ones.

5. Be sure to Include Storage

You will need a place to store your hay, your extra grain bags, and your extra tack and equipment. There is a lot more to a barn than just the stalls. If you have tractors or other farm equipment, you should plan a place to store them out of the elements. Without adequate storage space, you will constantly have to struggle to supply yourself with hay and grain, which you will not have room to store in advance.<bio>Lydia K Kelly is a writer for HorseClicks, classifieds of horses for sale West Virginia, horses for sale Wisconsin, horses for sale Wyoming and other states. Unlike the earlier days now, using global positioning satellite technology, heavy equipment placed anywhere in the world can be checked or diagnosed. Finding the right new equipment suitable is also getting to be a big challenge. With lot of options and features to consider, it will be an overwhelming chore.

Among the heavy equipment, backhoe-loaders are used in small demolitions, breaking asphalt, construction, digging holes/excavating, light transportation of building materials, powering building equipment, and paving roads. To smash concrete and rock, tools such as breakers can be used instead of the backhoe bucket. To empty its load more quickly and efficiently, some loader buckets have a retractable bottom. Grading and scratching off sand is executed with retractable-bottom loader buckets. The front assembly may be permanently mounted or have a removable attachment. Often other devices and tools replace the bucket. In order to mount different attachments to the loader, the backhoe loader must be equipped with a tool coupler. Find more info at http://www.heavy-equipment4u.info

Bulldozers are heavy equipment but they are also large and tracked engineering vehicles. With the mobility and ground hold given by the tracks they can move through very rough terrain. Swamp tracks in bulldozers are merely extra wide tracks.

The three distinct assemblies of compact hydraulic excavators are workgroup, undercarriage and house. The boom, arm or dipper and attachments such as bucket and breaker are parts of the workgroup of a compact hydraulic excavator. They are connected to the front of the house structure of the excavator via a swing frame that allows the workgroup to be hydraulically pivoted right or left to achieve offset digging for trenching.

Harvesters today do practically all of the commercial felling in Sweden and Finland and they were developed in these countries. Harvesters work best in less difficult terrain while clear cutting areas of forest. Small and very agile harvesters are used in the Nordic countries for thinning operations. An iron or a cylinder placed between two metal rods so that it is able to freely slide down and up are included in the pile drivers. A pulley system is used to raise the cylinder which may involve the use of manual labor, steam or hydraulics. Small explosions in the chamber are used in modern pile drivers to raise the cylinder.

A piece of heavy equipment used for earthmoving in civil engineering, is a wheel tractor-scraper. A vertically moveable hopper in the rear part with a sharp horizontal front edge does the scraping. Raising and lowering of the hopper is done hydraulically. The front edge cuts into the soil like a cheese-cutter when the hopper is lowered. <bio>Lucy Bartlett is a proud contributing author.
Afraid of drowning in a swimming pool? You shouldn't be. The Poseidon, an underwater surveillance system, can detect problems and immediately activate beepers to alert lifeguards. The image and location of the drowning person is instantly captured on the CCTV cameras, and a life is saved.

Rewind and fast forward

Once upon a time, people drowning in pools mostly, well, drowned. It was always too late before they were discovered, often already floating lifeless or unconscious. A drowning person probably just slipped without a noise, without the dramatic hand-waving that they do in the movies. Real life drowning is not theatrical and often goes unnoticed because the person just goes under without warning.

The terror of losing a loved one to drowning is something we want to avoid, so you stand watch over your children while lifeguards scan the pool or beach with their binoculars for unusual movements. But still, lapses can happen in the blink of an eye.

Accidental drowning is the 7th leading cause of death for all age groups, the second leading cause of death for children in the 1-14 years age bracket. Drowning can happen at the beach, your home pool, a bathtub or bucket filled with water, or even in soup.

When surveillance is a security, not an intrusion

The welcome arrival of underwater surveillance has changed how we look at surveillance systems. In this case, we understand that when it comes to matters of life and death in very familiar places, like the public and home pool, we dare not object.

True, there is a lot of debate surrounding surveillance security. But debacles aside, the invention of electronic surveillance, including CCTV, has thwarted dangerous intentions. Now the grandfather of all surveillance is here.

This CCTV surveillance is not your regular home and office electronic spies. These are underwater devices designed to detect movement and problems in public and private swimming pools. The Poseidon is a network of cameras that sweeps its unblinking eyes above and below the surface of the swimming pool.

The Poseidon has already saved a life, that of 18-year-old Jean Francois LeRoy of Ancenis, France. Without warning, LeRoy, who was underwater practicing apnea swimming, drowned without warning. The unblinking eyes found him in milliseconds and alerted the lifeguards with incessant beeps. Thus, he was saved in time before brain damage set in.

The Poseidon CCTV is the perfect tool for lifeguards. With this in place, lifeguards increase their chances of saving lives and averting the irreversible damage that may be caused by drowning incidents.

Swimming and safety measures

Still, we can't be so sure at all times. Here are some safety tips for at home and public pools:

1. The home pool should be high-fenced so children cannot clamber over it.

2. Cover the pool with netting.

3. Do not leave buckets filled or even half-filled with water. Very young children can drown within seconds in buckets.

4. Do not rely on your children's swim wings, they might slip off unnoticed.

5. Do not also depend on your child's swimming lessons to save himself. The child will panic and forget all lessons.

6. Never swim alone.

As a further precaution, when swimming in public pools, inquire if there is a CCTV system in and above the swimming pool, just to be sure. You'll be confident knowing these are around because these cameras never blink. <bio>Get ready for the CCTV (http://www.video-surveillance-guide.com/)advantage. An increased width of 5 inches allowed more powertrain options. The uncluttered and clean appearance of the this truly respected and memorable Plymouth was designed by sheet metal and styling. The smooth features of the exterior side were fenders, quarter panels with flush mounted door handles. The grill had single headlamp, two rectangular inlets with urethane coated electrometric bumpers which were optional. The Cuda looked like a pony car with the long hood and deck lid. Interior features such as high back buckets, steering wheel, smooth edges, large gauges and door panels gave a new look to the car. The 1970 Cuda was available with options like rear spoiler, rear window louvers, Hurst pistol grip shifter, Ralleye wheels, hood scoops, fog lamps, hockey stick striped quarter panels with attractive colors of TorRed, Lemon Twist, In Violet, Vitamin C and Lime Light. The Cuda 70 cars were considered as the most valuable Mopar muscle cars which were available in coupe and convertible models. There was 21,017 Cudas produced during the 1970 model year.

The 1971 Plymouth Cuda saw some changes from the 70 model which included a cheese grater grill with 4 headlights, tail lights, fin like vents on fenders. The model included billboard decals which were optional on quarter panels covering door to rear side of the Plymouth car. The engine sizes during the year were 340, 383, 440 and hemi with optional electrometric bumpers. Interior of the car was upgraded with good seats and grip with options of split buckets. With minimal styling changes, the 1971 Cuda was most sought after by the people. Coupe and convertible models were available and totally 6602 Cuda cars were produced during the year.

The Plymouth Cuda muscle car was released in 1972 with drastic changes from its previous models. During the period of the car, just like Detroit muscle cars, the Plymouth also faced issues of insurance pressures, gas shortages and emission standards. The features of the old model such as shaker scoop, shaker and big blocks were changed by small low compression blocks. The exterior Cuda had minimal changes. The single headlights of the 1972 Cuda were just like the 1970 model. Instead of using horizontal blind style which existed in the models of previous years, large dual round unit tail lights were used in the 1972 Plymouth Cuda model. There were some minor exterior changes which included optional striping and not hockey stripe or billboard. The interior of the Cuda looked much the same as its previous models. But the advertisements of the car boasted standard bucket seats offering the users better grip and comfort compared to its previous models. The 1972 Plymouth Cuda was available in two basic options viz., 318 2bbl or hi performance 340 cid motor. The Plymouth Barracuda was available with a 4 speed including a pistol grip shifter. The 1972 Cuda came in a Coupe model. The 318 cid model had engine options of 8.8 Comp., 150 HP with standard motor whereas 340 model had engine of 8.5 Comp., and 240 HP. During the year 7828 total Cuda cars were produced much to the muscle car crowds enjoyment.<bio>Browse through the pictures and read the articles I'm sure you'll see a Cuda of your dreams!
When it comes to controlling inventory costs, Easy Rack forklift attachments are the construction manager's best friend. They save thousands of dollars on heavy equipment procurement by allowing companies to a small number of forklifts and use them for a much larger number of applications. Simply by adding the right attachment, a crew can do anything from elevating materials and workers to loading materials into containers.

The success of our forklift attachment line is evident by the fact that many people select an attachment specific to an application, and then select a skid-steer or forklift to go with the attachment. This allows for a higher level of customization, ergonomics, safety, and process flow efficiency, because each attachment has already been designed to make a forklift perform a specialized task within the boundaries of OSHA regulations.

For example, safety work platforms allow contractors to safely elevate building materials and supplies. Safety work platforms can reach up and over obstructions that prohibit the use of scissor lifts. They provide a safer, larger, and more stable work platform than boom lifts and can be elevated to the desired height much faster than a scaffold. These forklift attachments are designed with OSHA compliance foremost in mind, and feature toe boards, full perimeter guardrails, and secure access gates. Optional mast protection screens can also be installed to protect workers from the moving parts of the forklift mast.

Because forklifts are often much more powerful than their forks, their full weight capacity often goes untapped. Lift hooks allow companies to tap into this unused potential and use the full power of their forklifts. These attachments secure toward the base of the forks and allow the forklift to safely and easily lift up to 10,000 pounds. These attachments can be used with both straight-mast and extendable reach forklifts.

Construction cleanup is a vital part of construction site safety, but it doesn't require a fleet of dump trucks to do effectively. Self-dumping hoppers attached to forklifts can load and carry debris and garbage to dumpsters. Built for rough terrain, these hoppers can release debris from an elevated location when discharged, saving time and reducing the risk of collisions with the dumpster in the process.

Self dump buckets are forklift attachments that work in a similar fashion, but their purpose is not to discard debris, but to load dirt and other materials into trucks.

Perhaps one of the most efficient money saving forklift attachments construction companies can invest in is the quick-tach truss boom. It operates exactly like a crane, at a much lower cost. It is ideal for work in low-rise jobs, especially metal and portable building erection. Heavy duty applications can be tackled with the Easy Rack heavy duty jib. Made for moving heavy items in and out of hard to reach places, this jib can reach over or under obstructions and scaffolding, and it can go through narrow openings like windows. Its maneuverability also makes it much easier to load and unload trucks more safely.

A number of other forklift attachments can also be obtained in either new or used condition through your material handling specialist. Be sure to ask about lift buckets, replacement forks, fork extensions, and ram poles, or visit our product listing here to find examples of heavy construction equipment which our experts can customize for specific applications.<bio>Easy Rack.
The garage. It's where some people park their cars and keep a few spare items on sparse shelves. For most of us, it's a place where cars battle junk, debris and miscellaneous stuff for space. Most of us have garages that are completely full of random storage items, with a space carved out for the car.

Because of this, a booming industry has sprung up centered around storage cabinets and other organizational tools.

Storage cabinets for the garage are essentially the same shape and size as indoor cupboards and bookshelves, only more durable and intended for tough items like tools and paint buckets.

Do you need storage cabinets in your garage? First consider whether all that junk can be dealt with in some other way -- either disposed of (or donated), or put into storage bins and cardboard boxes. Storage cabinets are generally for things you actually use -- don't let the word andquot;storageandquot; mislead you. These cabinets should be where items like paintbrushes and screwdrivers are kept, not where you shove things you don't plan to use again.

If you're a regular woodworker, auto-tinkerer or do-it-yourselfer, you've probably accumulated a lot of tools related to your hobbies. Storage cabinets can be a stylish way of organizing them, more aesthetically pleasing than a big steel toolbox.

Cabinets, along with proper lighting (a rarity in a garage), goes a long way toward making your workspace look clean and inviting. It's safer, too, when all your andquot;stuffandquot; is put away instead of left lying on a workbench or on the ground.

Once you've decided to get storage cabinets, you can either build them yourself or have them installed. Cabinets aren't always easy to build, though, and they can be purchased pre-built (or even custom-made) relatively cheaply from several online outlets and at home improvement stores. <bio>Milton Felton writes for http://www.storageshedhut.com, a website packed with information on Residential Storage Sheds and Metal Garden Storage Sheds </bio>

Americans have fallen into the debt trap to an extent that our grandparents could never have imagined. We have to have everything, and we have to have it now. As a consequence, many of us are drowning in credit card debt. Here is a possible solution.

The days of low prime rates are over now, and 0 APR credit cards are harder to find. Not impossible, though. Many companies still offer 0 APR credit cards for limited period only so that they can attract new customers. This initial period of up to 12 months can save you buckets of money if you have high interest credit cards.

This is how to you can handle it: First, transfer your balance from your high interest credit card to your new one. This will lower your monthly payments and save you money every month. Second, don't go shopping yet. Rather, take these savings and pay down the balance on your credit card. Now you're paying principal instead of interest. Do this for the entire initial period and you'll be surprised at how much you can pay off your balance.

Third, don't use your new credit card to spend more money, because when the higher interest rate becomes applicable you could end up with an even higher balance that you had before. Once the 0 APR period ends, you can take advantage of the extra money provided by lower payments, right? Maybe. Since you've gotten so used to high credit card payments, why not delay your gratification a step further and continue to make payments at the same amount, thereby paying off the debt faster? In this way your new credit card can be used to motivate you to eliminate your long-term credit card debt. Note that your 0 APR credit card should never be used to spend more =96 only to lower your debt. Once the higher interest rate kicks in, your new line of credit is a useless to you as your old one was.

What debt management offers you is freedom =96 after all, which would you rather have, peace of mind, or more stuff that you probably don't need anyway? <bio>"0 APR Credit Cards" at http://zeroaprcreditcardguide.blogspot.com offers readers information about all types of 0 APR and low APR credit cards.
If you're planning to stay in a static caravan for your next holiday, you'll need to make sure you're prepared. Today's caravans are luxurious, comfortable and warm, and caravan parks occupy some of the best coastal locations in the country. Plan ahead, and you'll enjoy a fabulous holiday.

Fewer clothes than you think!

It's a well-recognised fact that we usually over-pack for our holidays, and this is especially true in the UK where, no matter what time of year we travel, we like to be prepared for a wide variety of weather. Static caravans boast much more storage than they used to, but if you want to make sure that there's a place for everything, then pack with caution. Most caravan parks have an on-site laundry, so you don't need to pack two outfits for each day -- you can simply wash the clothes and use them again. This is particularly true for younger children, who are liable to be covered in sand or grass stains not long after breakfast!

Buckets and spades

If your caravan holiday is going to be near the beach, then be sure to take plenty of beach equipment with you. Good caravan parks are often right on the edge of the beach, which means you can take the kids down for an hour at the beginning or end of the day, or spend all day sunbathing. However you choose to use the beach, you'll need all the right equipment -- and anything you can't fit in the car will probably be available at the on-site shop. Many static caravans also have an additional, outdoor storage space so that all those sandy things don't have to come inside.

A good book

A lot of people say that their annual holiday is the time when they catch up on their reading, and the best thing about a good book or a stack of magazines is that you can read them at any time. If the weather's sunny, take them down to the beach and relax on the sand, or sit outside your caravan so that the cold drinks are on tap. If you have a bad-weather day, then sit in the comfort of your caravan with a cup of tea and make the most of some enforced quiet time.

Of course, you'll need to take much more than these three items when you go on your caravan holiday, but put them at the top of your packing list! <bio>Sherwood Caravans has been hiring static caravans to holiday makers for over 40 years.
Probably everyone that knows anything about Seattle has heard vast rumors about the city. You have probably heard that it is green and lush and filled with innovation. You have likely heard that Seattle residents are proud of their city and that they are a mostly liberal bunch who love to be out of doors as often as possible. If you drink coffee, then you know that Seattle is the coffee capital of the world. If you have heard all of these andquot;factsandquot; about Seattle than it is likely that you have also heard about the need to invest in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rainwear" rel="tag">rainwear before you get there.

I have heard from countless places about the large amount of rainfall that Seattle is blessed with each year. I can hardly have a conversation with someone about this city and not have the issue of rainfall come up. I find it quite comical, but I guess people all over the world have heard about Seattle and our rain. You see, I moved to Seattle about ten years ago. No one warned me about the high level of rainfall back then or that I should invest in rainwear for myself and anything I valued.

I have found that the rumors about Seattle's climate are accurate for the most part, yet overblown when you are living there. We do get a lot of rain, that is true, and while it is true that rainwear is really wise, our rainfall is not as hard or longlasting as I had imagined it would be. In fact, our rain andquot;stormsandquot; are sometimes like mists and quite often like gentle rains that last only a little while.

I would suggest that you don't visit Seattle without rainwear, but not because you'll experience constant downpours consisting of buckets of rain. In fact, you'll probably enjoy the majority of your visit with pleasant weather that is interrupted by quick and gentle rains. So bring your rainwear but know that you won't have to wait long to outlast the weather.

Make plans to visit Seattle today. It is truly one of the best kept secrets of our country. I love living here and I am constantly discovering new things to do and new reasons to love my city. Bring your rainwear and get ready for the vacation of a lifetime. You might just want to move here too by the time your trip is done! <bio>Analeese Burnabaker is a writer for a magazine based in Seattle. She loves to speak against the myths of constant rain while encouraging people to pack rainwear.
