A consultant is a professional who provides expert advice in a particular area of expertise such as IT, management, marketing, or finance etc. Consultants identify companies' marketing or business needs, and they help companies improve their performance and profitability by analyzing existing business problems and developing future strategies. They help determine the most effective marketing and business solutions to your business, as well as the best ways to execute these solutions for the betterment of your business. Consultants generally use formal methodologies to analyze problems or to suggest better ways of completing business tasks. Consultants help execute your business plan and strategies, allowing you to focus on other important business issues and business meetings.

Management and business consulting grew rapidly in the 1980s and 1990s with industry growth rates of 20%. Consulting is highly cyclical and is sensitive to general economic conditions. The consulting industry declined between 2001 to 2003, but has been experiencing some growth since.

Nowadays there are three major types of consulting firms. One type is the larger consulting firm that offers a wide variety of consulting services, ranging from IT consulting to management consulting. Another type is the established management and strategic consulting firms that focus mainly on management consulting that covers any specific industry. Yet another type is the smaller boutique consulting firms with consulting focus and expertise on specific industries or technologies.

The more established consulting firms today include Arthur D. Little, a general management consulting firm; Booz Allen Hamilton was the first consulting firm to serve clients in both the government and the industry; McKinsey andamp; Company, was one of the first pure management consulting firm and currently leads the field. It was also one of the first consulting firms to hire graduates of top MBA schools rather than hiring experienced industry personnel. Boston Consulting Group brought an analytical approach to the study of strategy and management. Bain andamp; Company introduced its focus on shareholder wealth. Traditional accounting companies such as Arthur Andersen and global IT services firms such as IBM also set up consulting departments.

Businesses or companies can engage a business or management consulting firm or an individual business consultant who will draw up suitable business plans and strategies and implement them. Consultants are generally well paid with some business consultants charging $150 per hour, and sometimes even as high as $2,000 per day for their services. <bio>For a more comprehensive look at Consulting, visit Susan's site at http://www.elite-consulting.info. However, the size of the challenge in making government greener and more efficient only increases the scale of the energy and fiscal savings available.
"A Celebration of Progress" Marks the Opening of New Las Vegas School Buildings

This past August, leaders from the Las Vegas Schools gathered at the Cashman Theatre for "A Celebration of Progress." This was a celebration to mark the opening of nine new schools and one replacement school in the Las Vegas School System. In attendance were officials from Las Vegas Schools, Nevada State officials, community leaders, school principals, and architects. Las Vegas Schools' "A Celebration of Progress" was hosted by entertainer Clint Holmes.

The event was sponsored by The Council of Educational Facility Planners International; this is the eighth year that the Council of Educational Facility Planners International has sponsored this event. The Council of Educational Facility Planners International is an organization of education and construction professionals that aims to improve the places in which students learn. Various models and renderings of the new facilities were displayed and the students from these new schools created exhibits promoting school spirit. This years keynote speakers were Las Vegas Schools' Superintendent Dr. Walt Rulffes and Mrs. Ruth Johnson, President of the Clark County School District Board of School Trustees. The Hal Smith Elementary School choir performed, as well as the CP Squires After School All-Stars folkloric dance team.

The new school buildings were constructed to meet Las Vegas Schools' expanding enrollment that will have around 12,000 new students enroll for the 2006-2007 school year. This influx of new students raises the total number of students in the Las Vegas Schools to over 300,000. The new schools include six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. The replacement school building is also a high school.

At the August 9th "A Celebration of Progress" event Paul Gerner, Associate Superintendent for Facilities, thanked the architectural and construction partners who made the new schools possible. The Las Vegas Schools' system is expected to continue is substantial growth for many years to come.

Las Vegas School Students Take Part in Youth Leadership Summit

This summer several Las Vegas Schools' students went to the Youth Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. The Youth Leadership Summit was created through a partnership between The National Council for Community and Education Partnerships and Booz Allen Hamilton. The Youth Leadership Summit is designed to give students an opportunity to participate in educational reform. Students invited to the Youth Leadership Summit were participants in the Las Vegas Schools' GEAR UP program, which is a national program, intended to increase the number of students who go to and succeed in university and college. Along with participation in the GEAR UP program, students were selected based on their academic performance, leadership roles they take in their schools and recommendations from their principals and teachers. All of the participants from Las Vegas Schools will be seniors in the 2006-2007 school year.

The Youth Leadership Summit included different activities in the areas of teamwork and leadership that encouraged the students to share their own perspectives on how educators should improve student achievement. The suggestions that resulted from the Youth Leadership Summit included: creating information centers that would aid students and families in finding information for postsecondary education and creating peer and adult tutoring and mentoring programs that support middle and high school students. <bio>Stacy Andell is a staff writer for Schools K-12, providing free, in-depth reports on all U.S. public and private K-12 schools.
The founder of Carhartt coats and the company was Hamilton Carhartt. He was born in 1855 in New York. He was raised in the southern part of Michigan. To be recognized as special, he added the extra "t" to the company name. He wanted everyone to see that he stood above the rest. His first buyer made him realize that specialty products would help him to do just that. They needed to be unique and different from what is available. Hamilton Carhartt, the avid creator, talked to a railroad engineer about his needs and formed his first outerwear garment with those needs in mind.

Creating The Vision

In 1859, the Carhartt Company came into being. They started producing Carhartt coats and other work attire that would be able to show excellence and a standard that was higher than others of the day. The company began with four sewing machines and five people on the payroll. His first overalls were made from duck cotton and denim fabric. With each visit Hamilton made to the railroad divisions in many towns around the area, he created a lucrative business start for himself. His brand became known for being a good product and produced a high reputation.

A Let Down

During the 1930's and the Great Depression, only three of the Carhartt plants were still open for production. Hamilton and his son worked together on a campaign to open the Irvine Kentucky branch. The administrative offices are still there now. Seventeen plants exist today as does three mills. No longer is production limited to the United States but has branched out into Canada and Europe. Special Carhartt fabric was created to be made into Carhartt coats and other garments. It is still produced today and has become one of the greatest elements in the Carhartt coats and other garments.

The End Of A Life

Hamilton Carhart passed away in 1937. He was 82 years old. His family has carried on the tradition of making fine Carhartt coats and outerwear for the masses today. They are still in business and hold the best reputation for the finest products to protect against the elements. There is no reason for them to stop producing the best Carhartt coats and outerwear. Many construction workers and others depend on this brand to provide them with warmth and comfort as the railroad workers did over two hundred years ago when Hamilton Carhart produced his first set of overalls. The tradition of quality craftsmanship is still apparent in today's quality of garments.

Same Great Standard Of Quality

Today, many styles and types of garments including Carhartt coats can be purchased. They are made to withstand any of the harshest elements outside workers face today. The outside of the garments are treated to be even more resistant to the wind, rain, snow, and cold. They are even flame resistant. Hamilton Carhart knew what he was doing when he went after his long-lasting dream of producing honest and durable outerwear to those who serve us every day in jobs that most of us would never even think of doing.<bio>WorkWear1.com offers a great selection of Carhartt Coats.
Prison reform is constantly a hot topic from barbershops to the bureaucracy of government. It is believed that many prisoners enter the system in search of reform but instead come out rejuvenated criminals.

Unequal drug laws and the "Three Strikes Law" often result in petty criminals receiving maximum sentences while violent criminals are sometimes only hit with a "slap on the wrist."

Although many see drastic prison reform as an insurmountable obstacle, Allen Jones of San Francisco is single-handedly attempting to raise awareness by launching a campaign called California Clemency by selling T-shirts in an effort to fund a billboard campaign throughout the Golden State.

One T-shirt reads, "YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO HEAVEN BY RAISING HELL ON EARTH." However, raising hell is exactly what Jones is attempting to do to change a system that some believe is impossible to change.

"I once saw a man get stabbed and I knew he was a goner based on the amount of blood lost at the scene," Allen says. "I later found out that the reason the paramedics continued to work on him was because they 'felt a very faint heart beat.' And that's how I live to help others. If I detect a very faint heart beat in an ex-con I will never give up on that person."

Despite his optimism, Allen knows it is an uphill battle to rehabilitate many criminals, after spending 10 years (1983-1993) working as a Bible study teacher to juvenile offenders in San Francisco.

"Call me crazy but God will give up on me before I give up on you," is one of Allen's most famous statements that he uses to inspire juvenile offenders.

"The weapon of choice for most criminals is excuses. And if you disarm them of that weapon you have a real chance of turning a life around. I disarm them by paying little attention to the zillions of excuses," says Allen.

Furthermore, he is definitely not looking for any excuses when it comes to prison reform in his home state, believing California could save billions with a new clemency system.

The case of Jackson Phaysaleum, who is in a persistent vegetative state costing the state $500,000 and Steve Martinez, a quadriplegic who was recently denied parole, would save the state an enormous amount of money, according to Allen. With the savings that could be made by clemency to inmates like Phaysaleum and Martinez, Allen believes more money could be spent on drug rehabilitation at female prisons, where 80 percent are incarcerated for drug offenses.

Allen cites the incarcerations of several California inmates as proof of the need of drastic prison reform.

Kevin Cooper is currently on death row for a murder conviction that resulted from a questionable DNA match. Santos Reyes is currently serving 26 years to life for forging a DMV test. Linda Susan Teague is incarcerated for 50 years to life for forgery. In addition, Gary Ewing is serving 25 years to life for stealing three golf clubs.

Most are facing stiff punishment because of the "Three Strikes Law," which views them as career criminals. "There is no such thing as a career criminal," Allen says. "People reoffend because they aren't getting the proper help they need to get on track. Not because they like beating old ladies over the head just so they can go back to prison."<bio>Todd A.
Hamilton Carhart had a vision long ago that is still going strong today. The founder of the Carhartt Company was born in New York in 1855. He was raised in southern Michigan where he began his quest for perfection in outerwear for the average worker. An extra "T" was added to his last name to make up the unique name of his company to help it stand out as different in special in a world where the type of garments he was producing were not available. The first buyer he had helped him to see how specialty products would be the best thing to offer the other customers he would have through the years. Hamilton began to talk to and create the Carhartt coats and other outerwear required for the railway workers to perform their job but also meet their needs for warmth and comfort.

Vision In The Making

A few years later, the Carhartt Company was birthed. Production on the Carhartt coats and overalls began as well as other famous pieces for the average worker. These beautifully crafted apparel pieces showed not only durability but also an e3xzcellence and standard that set the stage for things to come. The first set of overalls created was crafted from duck cotton fabric which is unique to Carhartt coats and other pieces. It allows for breathability of the skin but keeps the moisture out. Traveling from town to town, Hamilton's garments gained a reputation for being the best. He continued to talk to the railway workers to find ways to improve what he had already begun.

Troubled Times

The depression brought hard times for everyone including Carhartt plants and mills. Once the war was over, only three plants were still producing his wonderful Carhartt coats and other pieces for the public. After a collaborative campaign between his some and Hamilton, the main offices moved to Irving Kentucky. They are still there now. Across the United States, Canada, and Europe, there are seventeen plants and three mills running today. The special fabric made for the Carhartt coats and other items is milled special for the company to use.

Times Past

Hamilton died in 1937. This was just seven years after the Great Depression caused him so much rebuilding and trouble. He lived to be 82 years of age. His family decided to carry on the great tradition of creating Carhartt coats and other outerwear products for the protection and warmth of the general public. The reputation he started over a hundred years ago is still alive and very much considered the best of any other producer of outerwear.

Quality Standards

Today you can still find the multitudes of styles and garment types to include high quality Carhartt coats. Each piece is still made to withstand the worst of weather and elements. They are made to help you work through the harshest winds, the pouring rain, and the coldest snowfall. Hamilton Carhart was out to help a few railway workers when he created his exquisite pieces but instead ended up helping the world.<bio>WorkWear1.com offers a great selection of Carhartt Coats. United States and China and their corresponding basketball teams are going to face each other in the first game of the Olympics. The draw was held at Beijing where US belonged to group B together with China, the defending world champion Spain and Angola. The other group is composed of the Olympic champion Argentina, Iran, Australia, Lithuania and Russia. Canada is still trying to earn a spot to compete in the Beijing Olympics. On the other hand, the defending champions US Women's basketball team, were also drawn to group B with China, Mali and New Zealand.

Installing the new captain on England's team seems to be a very good call for the Brits. Even former captain David Beckham was impressed, (despite the fact that he had to lose the prestigious position to the new king of his country's most well obsessed over sports). According to an interview by Fox, Beckham especially likes Terry's approach to training. He finds it effective with its accurate and serious nature. He also said that Terry knew how to communicate with his team, which is always good because they are able pull off exactly what he needs. England is scheduled for a match against the United States.

Tennis is one of the classiest sports of all time, hence why some of the hottest sports people are Tennis players. However, the crème de la crème of the Tennis world seems to be too willing to flaunt their physical superiority by appearing on magazines that has nothing to do with the sports.
"The only disability in life is a bad attitude." =96 Scott Hamilton

Attitude is so important. It is probably the most important thing worth talking about in all the self -help material you will come across. Why; because attitude controls your mind which controls everything. It's what makes the difference between a good athlete and a poor one; a successful entrepreneur or a failure; a great artist/musician and a poor one. Hamilton, our author today was no stranger to disability; he was two years old when he contracted a mysterious illness that caused him to stop growing. He was misdiagnosed as having cystic fibrosis and was told by doctors at one point that he had 6 months to live. Diet and exercise cured the problem though Hamilton achieved only a height of 5 feet 2 inches in his life-time. He didn't allow disability to stop him. In 1981 '82 and '83 Scott Hamilton won the gold medal in the World Figure Skating Championships, and won the gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics.

But Hamilton is not the only example of men and women overcoming great obstacles in their lives. There is Helen Keller, blind and deaf from a very young age; President Abraham Lincoln who rose from being a bare foot poor boy from Missouri, to becoming a self taught layer who eventually became our 16th President of the United States. The list goes on and on of people defeating the odds against them armed with simply a good attitude. A bad attitude can stop any man or woman's dream.

What is the secret to attaining the great attitude we talk so much about? Art Link letter said it this way: "Things turn out best for the people who make the best out of the way things turn out." That is the magic formula and nothing more or less.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt campaigned from a wheel chair and won the Presidential election in 1933. He served an unprecedented 4 terms in office from 1933-1945 serving as a handicapped person serving through some of the toughest times our country has ever seem seen including the great depression and the 2nd world war.

Hamilton is right when he says the only disability is a bad attitude. A bad attitude can prevent you from getting a job by acting poorly on a job interview, it can break up marriages and drive a person to use street drugs or become chemically Dependant. A bad attitude can keep a beaten house-wife to stay with her brutal husband till he finally beats her to death; it can keep us all imprisoned to our own bonds of self-limitation if we allow it. It makes us all make bad choices in life which leads to nowhere and can make us penniless pawns of society. Having a bad attitude has a bad ending in store for all who choose that road of self indulgence and self pity which is where a bad attitude always leads in the end.

It is best to make the best of your life, what ever the cards are that you were dealt, and put a smile on your face and brave the day, each and every new day. Greet it with a good attitude and watch the difference it makes. Someone once said life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it. That is why having a good attitude is so important. Having a good attitude empowers you and when you are empowered you can empower others you meet. Today give it a try and put on that mask of a good attitude. Yes that's right, sometimes you will have to fake it till you make but in the long run you will see that having a good attitude will get easier and easier until is comes as second nature to you. Today be empowered and decide to face your day with a good attitude! <bio>John Cyr, is a retired workforce development trainer and motivational consultant who publishes articles and editorials under the pen-name Cyreous. She worked to preserve this art form that defines her people and Elsie's descendants carry on that legacy today.

Born in 1899, Elsie was raised by her grandmother in the Cloverdale area of northern California. The young girl learned the art of Pomo basket weaving from her mother, Annie Burke, and her grandmother, Nellie Burke, as well as a number of other older Pomo women that congregated at the family home. These women spent hours weaving these items, which were given as gifts, sold, or kept as heirlooms.

At the age of eleven, Elsie Allen was captured by government authorities, who packed her off to a boarding school to learn the English language and American ways. She continued to practice her basket weaving craft while she was away to ensure that she would not forget the techniques that were taught to her by her family and people.

Elsie returned to her family as a young woman and took up weaving with her family right where she had left off. Once she had married, Elsie had to work a variety of jobs, such as a domestic and a farm laborer, which left her very little time to practice the craft that she loved. It was at this point that her mother Annie began to train Elsie's children in this ancient craft.

An interesting tradition among the Pomo basket weavers included the burial of their baskets and weaving equipment and tools with them when they died. Annie begged Elsie to ignore this tradition as she wanted her daughter to have these items when she could begin her own basket weaving craft again. Upon Annie's death, Elsie retained all these valuable artifacts and kept her promise to her mother.

In the 1940s and 1950s, Elsie Allen organized the Pomo basket weavers and began to write books describing the steps that are used in making these extraordinary items. The money raised from her writings and the baskets that the weavers sold was used to help Pomo families in distress, to set up Native American college scholarships, and to finance a large lawsuit on behalf of the Pomo tribe.

Elsie Allen also served as a Pomo activist, fighting for the reclamation of Native American land and struggling to establish equal rights for her people in a very biased 1950s California. She also began to teach Pomo basket weaving to anyone who wanted to learn, regardless of race. As many of her students were white women, her own people began to criticize her as undermining their way of life.

In 1972, Elsie wrote of her disappointment in her attempts to pass on the Pomo basket weaving craft. Very few of her students at this point were Native Americans, although the attention that her classes drew from universities did help the Pomo people to be accepted by the general population.

In 1980, Elsie Allen finally found an apprentice that could learn and pass on the art of Pomo basket weaving in the form of her great-niece, Susie Billy. This niece continues to teach Pomo basket weaving classes and has served as a collaborator on several books detailing this art form.

In 1990, upon Elsie Allen's death, the collection of baskets and tools that belonged to Annie Burke as well as items that were added by Elsie passed on to Elsie's oldest daughter, Genevieve Allen Aguilar. Genevieve has placed this valuable collection of Pomo artifacts on a long-term loan to The Mendocino County Museum, where the works of these incredible women can still be viewed.<bio>We have baby gift baskets that are cute and practical.
It's simple! Follow the "rules of the road". With few exceptions, when operating a bicycle on the streets and highways you must comply with the motor vehicle traffic regulations of your state and locality. Yes, you have all the rights of a motor vehicle driver, but you also have the same responsibilities they do. That means you must drive on the right side of a two way street, except when overtaking or passing. You must obey traffic lights and signs. At uncontrolled intersections, remember the vehicle on the left yields the right-of-way to the vehicle on the right.

Where bike paths or lanes are available, use them. When traveling with a group, it is best to ride single file and never more than two abreast.

Signals are important. Turning right? Extend your right hand and arm in a horizontal position straight from and level with your shoulder beyond the right side of your bicycle. Turning left? Extend your left arm straight and level to the left side of your bike. For slowing down or stopping, extend your arm downward to your side. By following the regulations applicable to motor vehicles (which the law requires you to do, like it or not), you make it less likely a motor vehicle driver will misunderstand what you are doing and where you are going. Such misunderstandings cause accidents.

Wear a helmet! Because head injuries are ordinarily the most serious type of injury in bicycle accidents, always wear a helmet when cycling. Your helmet should meet U.S. government safety standards. Check for the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) sticker. Make sure your helmet fits securely and is level on your head. The straps should be fastened snugly. Worn improperly, your helmet will not protect you as it is designed to do. And how old is your helmet anyway? You may need to replace it if it's more than 20 years old or if it lacks the CPSC (or ASTM or Snell) label. If the helmet foam is cracked, if the helmet doesn't fit correctly or if the helmet has been banged up in a crash, replace it.

Visibility is key! If a motor vehicle driver can't see you, he won't take steps to avoid hitting you. Wear light colored clothing that stands out such as yellow or white. Tie a reflector strap around your pant leg or wear a jacket or shoes furnished with reflector tape. Attach a lamp to the front of your bicycle for use at night, during twilight hours, or in bad weather. A tail light is a good idea as well.

Check your equipment before you ride! Are your brakes in good repair and are they correctly adjusted? You don't want to ride a bike with worn brake pads or faulty cables. Are your tires properly inflated and in good condition? It is always a good idea to oil your chain regularly and ensure it is in good working order. Make certain your bicycle seat, handlebars, and wheels aren't loose, that they fit tightly.

These are just a few tips for safer cycling. Use your common sense and always remain alert to your surroundings and nearby vehicles. Bicycling is great exercise and a wonderful hobby. Just make sure you remember the safety rules while you enjoy the ride. <bio>Elizabeth M.
There are many types of wrenches available at your local home improvement or hardware store, indeed you can get large sets of them. But if you are a typical homeowner doing small projects around the house, you may wonder if all that is really necessary and if it is, how can you convince your wife of it? Seriously, if you want to know what to buy to fit the highest number of situations you'll probably come across, here are the basics.

An adjustable wrench is your best bet because it is versatile. It will fit many different sized nuts and bolts, without having to have an individual wrench for each size. But, you say, there are different sizes of adjustable wrenches, too. Yes, there are. One that opens to 5/16" should suit most of your needs. When you use an adjustable wrench, make sure that it is tightened as much as possible around whatever you are trying to turn or loosen. Otherwise, it may give and scrape the surface of whatever you're working on or even worse, your hand.

Another common type of wrench that you will see around the home is the allen wrench. When you think wrench, these are not the image that pops into your head. They are usually L or S shaped and the head fits into the top of a nut (usually with a hexagon shape). The wrench is then turned to tighten or loosen the nut. You will see these a lot with bicycles, in-line skates, and probably at lot of assemble it yourself furniture that you get at warehouse or department stores. Oftentimes, these types of items that require allen wrenches will come with them, included with the rest of the hardware for the item, but you may someday need to purchase some yourself. You can get many different sizes available on a keychain for a relatively small price.

Box wrenches or socket wrenches come in individual sizes to fit standard and metric fasteners. These are the ones that come in the big kits. If you do buy a set, make sure you check to see if it is standard or metric or both. Standard will probably be best for most things around the house. If you're working on cars, depending on the make, you may need metric. For sockets, look for ratcheting wrenches that do the turning for you to save your wrists. <bio>Cathy Peterson writes about http://www.hardwaretoolsonsale.com/ </bio>

This review is my personal opinion of 'The Article Marketing Handbook' I'll tell you:

1) What it's about
2} Did I learn anything?
3} Is it worth the asking price?

I've read a lot of articles, ebooks and forum posts about article marketing and have found that the information and advice offered can be conflicting and confusing to new article marketers. As an article marketer I have studied the results from my own campaigns and come to my own conclusions. As an article directory owner I can see from studying the site stats month after month which articles are working for the authors. I can also see from <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/google+searches" rel="tag">Google searches which articles have been found on my site and republished on blogs or websites.

With the double insight of article marketer and directory owner it can be frustrating to see articles being submitted that you know will not be effective for the authors. On the other hand you learn to recognise articles that are going to do well for the authors and your directory.

With this in mind I was curious to read 'The Article Marketing Handbook' written by Allen Graves -- an experienced article directory owner and article marketer. I've come across Allen in forums and have to admit that we don't always agree, but it is plain to see that Allen cares about article marketing. Because Allen has been involved with article marketing longer than I have I hoped that I would learn something from his handbook. I also felt that as he had the same opportunity of double insight as I have albeit for longer that 'The Article Marketing Handbook' should be as good as if not better than anything that I have previously read. My expectations were high so lets see if the handbook lived up to them.

The Content

At first I was impatient to get to the 'meat' of the ebook and wasn't happy with the long introduction and theorising in the first couple of chapters, but then I saw that Allen was expressing why it is important to get your article marketing campaign right. It isn't just information - it's plain common sense that every article marketer should consider before embarking on a marketing campaign and worth reading.

Allen then guides you through selecting your niche, ways of discovering what information your readers are searching for and spending money on and how to find the best keywords. All useful information and if used correctly should help you to write more effective articles.

You learn why you should use pen names and how to select them. How to write titles that grab a reader's attention while appealing to search engines. How to best summarise your articles and how to format the article body to capture the reader's attention and keep them reading. Some tips are also included on how to write your author resource box to gain higher click throughs to your website.

Did I learn Anything?

Yes I did. I was particularly interested in a chapter explaining how to find the best places to submit your articles to and why. Also how to get more click throughs by promoting your articles after your submissions have been accepted. Both ideas are so obvious that I wondered why I hadn't thought of them.

There are several more article marketing tricks that I have noticed used by authors who submit to my directories and hadn't really thought about. To find out if they work I checked my site stats and sure enough those articles were getting more than the average hits. That could be a coincidence or those tricks could be working for the authors and my directories.

What I Think

There is a whole lot more information but now I'm going to tell you what I think about 'The Article Marketing Handbook'. The ebook is well written and in a no BS style that I personally like. For anybody familiar with article or Internet marketing it's easy to understand, but those new to the field may struggle without more basic information about for instance the importance of keywords and phrases. But, that and other basic information can be readily found with an Internet search.

Is It Worth The $47 Asking Price?

For most ebooks I would say absolutely not. That is because there are thousands of ebooks available on the Internet free or at incredibly low prices and that muddies the water on perceived value. The Article Marketing Handbook is different in that it provides a lot of information and advice that I haven't seen before in any article, forum or ebook. Information and advice that I know from experience is correct even if I hadn't thought about some of it before reading the handbook.

The Article Marketing Handbook is by far the best guide I have read on the subject of article marketing, so I wasn't disappointed. As Allen will be providing updates as the market changes I would consider the one off $47 payment to be a good investment for ongoing success in the article marketing field.<bio>The author Patricia Jones writes for several websites including The Creative Writer and Make Money From Writing Visit Eprofits Centre for free digital downloadsand much more!</bio>

Are you aware that many of our medicines, food, and even dental fillings contain harmful chemicals and toxic metals? These toxins are very hard for our body to eliminate which results in a horrible cycle that creates a variety of symptoms and health problems including yeast infection, also known as Candida Albicans Overgrowth.

Eighty percent of people with Candida yeast infections tested by health practitioners were found to have elevated levels of mercury in their systems. This number may be a bit startling until you consider the many places we are exposed to mercury. Power plants and garbage incinerators end huge amounts of mercury into the air for us to breath. The lakes and seas have elevated levels of mercury from these processes as well. So not only do we ingest mercury from the air but it's also in the fish we eat.

Did you know many of the vaccines we take have mercury in them? One study found that for every flu shot you receive, your chance of developing Alzheimer's Disease is 10% higher. Flu shots contain mercury.

The build up in our body of these chemicals and toxins can lead to hormone imbalance, genetic changes, immune system failure, slow healing, skin problems, allergies and even nerve and brain damage.

They cause an acidic environment in our bodies that helps yeast to overgrow.

The problem of yeast overgrowth and infection occurs when our intestine has too much toxic metals so it creates extra mucus to block the metals from being absorbed into our blood stream. This mucus hampers oxygen and promotes bacteria and fungus like Candida to grow out of control. Additionally, yeast binds to heavy metals and grows as the body is attempting to eliminate and protect itself from metal poisoning.

Deep metal detox combined with slow removal of metal dental fillings (replacing with white filings) is the most important and fundamental steps in eliminating Candida yeast infection getting your digestive system back in balance. <bio>This article is based on, "Yeast Infection No More" by Linda Allen.
One great way to advertise for f*ree is available at your fingertips right now. In fact it was probably the first place that you went to when you switched on you computer today. What am I talking about?

I'm talking about your emails.

When it comes to Network Marketing one of the things you will spend a frustratingly large proportion of your time doing is checking, reading, writing and sending emails.

The beauty of the internet, as we are all well aware, is its ability to reach people all over the globe in an instant and this is mainly via the emails that we send.

Our emails not only go all over the globe but they also go to all kinds of different people including:

Friends Family Work colleagues Social groups Religious groups Clubs and societies Our downlines Partners and prospects

When we send these emails we usually just sign them with some generic salutation such as Yours sincerely or Regards, John Smith.

Whilst there is nothing wrong with that, there is also nothing special about it either.

Your emails are a great way to get your message out to everyone that you come into online contact with by adding your marketing details in a signature tag at the end, and as with all great things on the net it is something that you can do automatically.

Whoever your email account is with somewhere in your settings you will find a function that allows you to add your Signature Tag. S my advice to you is to set yours up now before you send any more emails.

Just think how many people you could have told about your opportunity if you already had a signature box attached to everyone of your outgoing messages.

As with all things we do to market our business it is crucial to check that you have achieved your desired result. You'll need to make sure that

a) the signature looks attractive and is not overloaded with too much information (nothing looks worse on a signature than having too many links. 2 to 3 is the most I would recommend) and

b) That the links in your ad work -- and that includes any ad tracking that you might have. To do this you simply need to send yourself an email and then going back and fix the things that you don't like.

Happy emailing Denise Hamilton <bio>The author of this article is Denise Hamilton.
Drum kits have evolved significantly in recent decades from the classic bass-snare-cymbal combination into electronic devices that have essentially changed the way music is made. Electronic drum kits were first introduced in the early 1970's as an innovative piece of equipment used to produce drum sounds electronically rather than acoustically. This occurs by hitting a trigger pad on the drum kit. The sounds are translated into digital waveforms from the electronic drum module and this, in turn, produces the desired percussion sound.

Beginning in the 1980's, electronic drum kits began to see a wider fan base and it was becoming common to see bands incorporate them with acoustic drum sets. At the point of their first introduction in the 1970's, and even into the early 1980's, it was uncommon to see electronic drum kits used by themselves because they had not been perfected yet.

Bill Bruford of the band King Crimson was one of the first to introduce the electronic drum kit into his set. In fact, his usage of the drum kit almost completely abolished his need for acoustic drums because of the quality of his sound.

In the late 1980's, electronic drum kits finally arrived at a near perfect image with a near perfect sound. Music equipment companies such as Yamaha began manufacturing electronic drum pads that were mounted on acoustic drum kits to produce a synthesized sound. This new sound was able to maintain the original acoustic sound with an electronic twist that many considered to be an innovative addition to the world of music.

Rick Allen, Def Leppard's premier drummer, is proof of the quality and success of electronic drum kits. After Allen lost his arm in a car accident, he had a special electronic drum kit made so that he was still able to play. Later on, he had a second kit made that would play back pre-recorded components of his acoustic drum kit whenever he struck a pad. Thus, while being new and original, the sound produced by Allen's kit still maintained its classic acoustic sound.

Electronic drum kits have not witnessed universal success and usage. However, they were created to produce a ground-breaking sound above and beyond the capabilities of the classic drum kit. Although the preference of the majority of rock bands today is still the classic kit, the electronic drum kit has broken down the old-school barriers and have appealed to those wanting to add some creativity and vision to the world of music. <bio>Robert Coram writes for http://www.drumselection.com, a website packed with information on yamaha drums and drum kits </bio>

Developing a cool business brand isn't as easy as you would think. You can throw money at some problems, and they'll get fixed, but branding is different. You have to think outside the box, and be innovative, if you want to build a brand that'll stick. In this article let us take a peak at businesses that have managed to build the best brands, and the strategies they have used to make their branding happen.

Google

Google's spent approximately zero dollars on traditional media buying. You won't see their adverts in the middle of Friends, and nor will you find their adverts in page six of the The New York Times. Google's growth comes from providing a great service, grassroots support and public relations, and that helps to mould their branding efforts for their business. There are countless other examples of companies that have succeeded without spending a penny on media. Many people would argue that Google's strong brand comes from having great products and being willing to buck the trend with the way they run their business.

Allen and Company

Allen and Company is an investment bank with less than one hundred staff. They are known for shopping some of the web's hottest start-ups and getting big bucks for their effort. However, Allen and Co's approach to branding is slightly different than most. They don't have a website, they don't issue press releases and you won't find their adverts anywhere either.

However, they have an excellent track-record for doing deals, and are often mentioned in the press when associated with the transactions they have participated in. Anyone looking for an investment bank to help them sell their internet business is likely to give Allen and Co a call. Not because they have came across their website, or because they seen their advert, but because they know they're a player that can get things done. An example of branding yourself as a business that's too cool to advertise.

Burberry

Burberry is a high-end fashion label with a tartan print that was associated with celebrity and prestigious - at one point at least. The print was worn by celebrities in the public eye, and this in-turn helped to drive mass-market appeal. Their approach to branding was to focus on social proof.

However, as the brand managed to gain more and more market-share, this - for some people - killed the very essence of the brand. It was no longer for the elite. Some would say the success of Burberry has meant the death of the branding they worked hard to build. Others would say that it has catalysed its transformation into an accessible high street business.

Apple

Apple, to some people, is seen as they number two to Microsoft. However, unlike Microsoft, Apple customers are extremely loyal followers who are often willing to pay more to be associated with the brand. Apple prides itself on innovation, and often claims to be the first company to come up with an idea that others will follow. Apple, like Google, prefers to focus on products and in turn their customers and the press do most of their marketing for them. Apple also understands that product design forms an important role in how their business is perceived and exploits this to its full potential.<bio>Naz Daud is the founder of CityLocal. UK Business Franchises Business Franchise Opportunities Ireland Business Franchise Latest Business Advertisers</bio>
