If you are looking for ways to keep track of your culture and to know what is happening in the lives and minds of the youth of your culture, then there are many resources you need to consider. You can read magazines, watch television, watch the latest movies, or spend time on a university or college campus near you. Another great and inexpensive way to get a handle of this generation is to pay attention to the chart music that is on the radio every day of the week.

Basically, chart music is the top music of our culture. It is the most popular music that is being listened to by the most people. There is chart music in a variety of music genres, and each week the top music of many genres is put on the radio for the whole country to hear. So if you are looking for a way to get up to speed with the youth of our world or even of your own children's world, then tune in to chart music and pay attention to it.

Just how do you pay attention to chart music? Well, the first thing that you need to do is just listen to it. Instead of going for your favorite radio station when you jump in the car each day, find the radio stations that are playing the chart music and listen in to those. Your kids can tell you those popular radio stations if you don't already know. You do not necessarily have to set aside hours of valuable time each week to get to know chart music, instead you can just utilize your time in the car for a different purpose.

Another way to pay attention to chart music is to talk to your kids about the music they are listening. Let them put on music of their choice when they are in the car, and even ask to borrow some of the CD's. Be prepared that you may be offended with their music choices, but determine ahead of time that you are simply trying to use chart music to get a grasp of their lives, not to discipline them in any way. Start really listening to the words of chart music too.

The lyrics in chart music are a huge reflection of what the youth of our nation are thinking about and caring about. So listen up and you may find that you learn a great deal. You may be surprised by the depth of thought and emotion that our youth are experiencing each day. Chart music is a great way for parents to keep a handle on the interests of their kids, so tune your radio into their radio today. <bio>Triston Huntsmin is a family therapist that is always looking for creative ways to help parents engage their children's world. Paying attention to chart music is an effective way. See http://www.chartmusicgroup.info for more on current chart music. </bio>

All parents look for creative ways to guide their children in the process of learning new skills and putting away childish habits. Parents try all kinds of systems to make discipline in their homes easier. One of the easiest, cheapest and most effective ways that I've found to help accomplish the goals of my parenting is a chart.

I thought of the chart method as I walked through a art supply store one day. I saw the large pieces of poster board and the thought struck me instantly: make a chart that will help your kids take ownership and get excited about the responsibilities you are trying to teach them. It was as simple as that. I picked up a few pieces of large white poster board and headed home determined to institute the chart system with my four young children.

The great thing about using the chart system for your children is that it is flexible. You can design your chart to work on any variety of skills or responsibilities that you are focusing on in your home. The section of the chart devoted to help me two-year-old start to enjoy potty training obviously looks differently than my eight-year-olds column for making her own bed each day. Think about each of your children and the specific things are have been asking them to work on. Take maybe four or five specific things for each child and make a chart that displays each child's name and each task you hope they accomplish.

My chart looks like a graph that displays the child's name, the four or five responsibilities I want them to work on, and then space for each of the seven days of the week. My children all know what I expect of them, and each day that they accomplish a task they get to put a sticker of their choice in that space. They have gotten so excited about filling their columns up that they rarely complain about doing their tasks each day. Of course, it doesn't hurt that there is a reward for filling all of your spaces on the chart each week. The rewards for each child vary based on their ages and tastes, but I make sure that they are rewarded in ways that will inspire them to keep learning new responsibilities with joy.

I'd encourage any parents to institute the chart system and see how your children begin to love seeing stickers fill the spaces on their chart. <bio>Since making the chart system a part of her home, Julee Mitchelsin has authored several articles on making discipline an important part of the home.
Doctors will use a growth chart to track a child's growth and monitor how he or she is growing in relationship to other children. While every child is different, and has unique physical characteristics, major differences could be indicative of poor health. Evaluating a growth chart is usually part of a regular check up.

A different growth chart must be used when examining girls instead of boys, since the rates and patterns of growth between genders are very different.

There are two sets of charts that are used throughout a youth's life; first a growth chart started from infancy until 36 months, then another growth chart is used from 2 years to 20 years of age. The growth chart shows the heights and weights of many different children across the country, according to age. It is suggested to go by a doctor's specific growth measurement, as home measurements taken are frequently wrong and can lead to faulty conclusions.

For children of ages 0-36 months, a growth chart usually includes his or her height, weight and the head circumference. These measurements are then considered according to the child's age and the national average. For children age 2 to 20, the child's height and weight are measured. Body mass index (BMI) is also taken in older children as a way of measuring levels of body fat.

Just because a child is gaining weight does not necessarily mean there is a dangerous issue. For instance during puberty a child's body fat increases. That's why it's best for a doctor to study a growth chart. He or she is better qualified to determine if there is a serious problem that needs attention. Your child's doctor will regularly refer to the growth chart to assess your child's physical development.

Although a growth chart is a valuable tool in monitoring a child's health, neither doctors nor parents should be too quick to label a reading (that is, a measurement taken that's different from the national standard) as a definite problem. The data should be considered a trend to monitor, and relative to other physical symptoms and analysis.

Some companies or clinics offer a free growth chart along with a information sheet listing their services, while some websites include a virtual growth card that is viewable online. While these charts might be good to consult for educational purposes they are not a replacement for a doctor's physical check up, nor can they replace a professional analysis of a growth chart.

When your child's health is the issue always consult a doctor when in doubt and never go by just words on a screen or in a brochure. Although a growth chart is a good indicator of your child's progress it is only a tool. <bio>John Wellington provides readers with up-to-date commentaries, articles, and reviews for http://www.allaboutyourbody.com, http://www.allhealthmagazine.com as well as other related information. </bio>

The Chinese Birth Calendar is such an amazing discovery that it is still used widely across the world as a way to predict the sex of your expected baby. Although there are many ways to predict the sex of your child with rapidly increasing knowledge in the field of science, such as the use of modern ultrasound systems, the Chinese Birth Chart has been said to be as accurate as 99%. Given that the age of the Chinese Birth Calendar is truly unknown, it is still an accurate tool in determining the sex of your expected child

The calendar, which is also called the Chinese Baby Chart, was discovered in an ancient tomb near the capital Chinese city of Beijing well over 700 years ago. The only place that you may view the original chart now is the Institute of Science, which is also located in Beijing China.

While the chart can be very confusing and overwhelming when you first look at it, the calendar is very easy to decipher once you take a little time and read the directions that usually come with it. The first step in determining the sex of your expected baby based on the Chinese Birth Calendar is to figure out what month your baby was conceived in. It is a simple step but often people can forget very easily exactly when. If in doubt, the best way to figure this out is to just take the due date or the birth date of your child and go back nine months. For normal, full term babies, this is the easiest way to do it.

After you determine the month that your baby was conceived in, you need to figure out how old the mother will be at the birth of the baby. Of course, the only way to estimate this is to go off of the doctor's due date that was given. Once that is figured out, you go down the chart and where the two vertical and horizontal points meet is where it will tell you the sex of your child, We have found it more user friendly to have the squares of the chart colored pink for girls and blue for boys along with the initials "F" for female and "M" for male, again this is sometimes "G" for girl and "M" for boy .

This is truly an amazing and fascinating tool and something that has been used for centuries upon centuries with an eerie amount of accuracy. Some professionals will even tell you that it can be more accurate then ultrasounds, although we still recommend using science over an ancient prediction gender chart. Along with this baby gender calendar and your ultrasound, you should be able to get a good idea of what the sex of your child should be. However, if you were like me, the ultrasound and the Chinese Baby Chart conflicted. The funny thing about my situation is that the baby chart was correct, and the ultrasound was wrong. So, which one is really better? <bio>http://www.chinesebirthcalendar.org/ http://www.chinesebirthcalendar.org/chinese-birth-calendar.html </bio>

Have you tried different ways to manage your eating and not been happy with the results? While there are no shortage of ideas on how to lose weight, every person is unique and finding the weight management system that works for you may take some trial and error.

Sometimes the most profound results come from the simplest sources. If you can add and subtract, you can use a calorie counting chart to manage your body weight. Success with such a chart can be an amazing and confidence-boosting achievement. I have personally used such a chart to lose twenty pounds so I know the concept works beautifully.

Here are five powerful steps to using a calorie counting chart that can bring you measurable results.

1. Understand what you're doing. Using a calorie counting chart to manage your body weight should not be about deprivation. Instead, use the chart to understand what you eat and when. Becoming aware of your food cravings and emotional eating urges is priceless information if you are serious about managing your weight.

2. Set yourself up for success. Don't start using a calorie counting chart the month you have two weddings to attend, five luncheons, and are hosting a family birthday party. Give yourself a better shot than that. Carve out a calm food environment in your life for a few weeks so you can give this wellness experiment your undivided attention.

3. Time. Allow yourself at least thirty days of using this powerful tool before you re-evaluate. When I started using a calorie counting chart, I promised myself I would use it faithfully for at least ninety days. I could do something simple and healthy for ninety days, couldn't I?

It turns out, yes, I could. By doing so, I gave this system an opportunity to prove itself to me. I could always stop and go back to my old ways of eating after ninety days if I wasn't happy with the results. Well, after ninety days I had lost twenty pounds. What more results did I need than that? (If you would like more ideas about how to use a calorie counting chart successfully, plus a free chart for you to use, please see the resource box at the end of this article.)

4. Find a wellness buddy. Support and accountability can mean the difference between success and frustration. Do yourself a huge favor and find someone who wants to get smart about their eating habits, too. Invite them to join you on a quest for healthier living. Using a calorie counting chart is a low-cost, simple solution to managing your weight, which makes it easy to share with a friend.

5. When you first start using a chart like this, I recommend you enjoy simple foods. You'll need to keep accurate calorie counts, especially at first, and it's easier to do so if you don't have to add complicated recipes into the mix. Trust me, you can figure out your calories from any recipe (I've done it for a year and a half now), but give yourself the chance to walk before you run. There will be plenty of time later for five-star recipes.

What is the real key to success using a calorie counting chart? Start slow, keep moving steadily forward, and give yourself the chance to become an 'expert' at this exciting lifestyle change.

Remember the results are all about you! <bio>Colleen Langenfeld has been parenting for over 25 years and helps other moms enjoy mothering more at http://www.paintedgold.com.
The Chinese pregnancy calendar is an absolute must have for any mother to be. If you don't already know what it is, a Chinese Pregnancy Calendar is a chart that was buried in the tomb of royals around a 700 years ago. Currently on display at the Beijing Institute of Science, it is supposed to tell expectant couples whether or not their child is going to be a boy or a girl. The calendar has two axes: the age of the mother at conception and the month that the baby was conceived. There's no telling exactly how accurate the chart is, but it correctly guessed the sex of both my brother and me when I looked it up.

The Chinese pregnancy calendar hardly seems random when you take a look at it. If the mother was 18 when she conceived the baby, the odds of the child turning out to be a boy are five out of six. On the other hand, if the mother was 21 at the age of conception, the odds of having a boy are only one in twelve. When you take a quick look at the color coded chart, it seems as though when the mother gets older, the chances of having a boy are about as likely as having a girl.

It's all very interesting when you look at the history of the Chinese pregnancy calendar. You have to wonder how many generations of people relied on it when deciding to have a baby. Still, there are a lot of questions that remain in regard to the mysterious entombed document. Was the chart something that was available for the general population, or was it exclusively reserved for the elite class? The world may never know, but now we all have access to it whenever we want. <bio>If you're pregnant or are thinking about having a baby, visit the Pregnancy Forums at http://www.ThePregnancyForum.com/ today.
As an interior designer, there are many tips I give my clients to aid them in making decisions of all kinds about the planning of their homes. I really enjoy walking with people through all of the various decisions that need to be made. I find that one of the hardest decisions that people have to make about their homes is color. Obviously, choosing the right colors for both the inside and the outside of a home can be an overwhelming serious of decisions because you do not want to go wrong. I suggest using a color chart to make the decisions easier.

A color chart is a great thing because it aids people in seeing colors they like and in being able to distinguish between certain shades from other shades. For example, if a person is sure that they want to decorate a particular room or part of their home in blue but they are not sure what shade of blue is best, a blue color chart can come in quite handy for choosing the best shade. A color chart can also be a great tool when people are trying to find colors that complement each other for rooms or areas of their home.

I am a firm believer that color is one of the most vital aspects of a home, both on the inside and on the outside. Color gives identity and character to homes, and therefore I believe that it is important that people take their color decisions seriously. So I always give my clients a variety of color charts and ask them to take a few days to ponder their choices. I love helping people find the perfect color combinations that reflect who they are and help them to accomplish the perfect atmospheres for their home.

So if you are about to buy or build a home or to re-decorate your current home, then I suggest you get to a paint shop and grab some color charts for you to study. Take the time to make decisions about colors before you move forward with other decisions about your home. You will be glad that you decided to use a color chart as a tool. It will make all of your choices much easier. Get the help of an interior designer if you can or talk with friends with a creative eye. Get some opinions from others, but ultimately you be the one to decide about the colors you will choose. <bio>Rachael Cleipher loves being an interior designer and she loves giving people a color chart to help make important color decisions for their homes.
Do you use a checkbook? Are you comfortable with addition and subtraction?

Are you tired of following every new diet tip or 'secret' that pops up?

Then maybe you are ready for the real deal.

Maybe you are ready to take control of your body management. Doing so is often easier than jumping from fad to fad. Taking control for yourself means coming to an appreciation of your body and its particular needs. Then using simple tools to get the results you want.

I'll give you an example from my own experience. I have used a calorie counting chart to lose twenty pounds. What I have discovered by doing so, is that what I *actually* eat each day and what I *need* to eat for good health and satisfaction are two different things.

And sorting out that difference is very much like using a checkbook to keep track of my family's monthly finances.

What about you? Do you...

- keep track of money that goes into your bank account? - keep track of money that goes out of your bank account? - understand you need money *in* your account before money can come *out*?

If you can successfully tackle those concepts with your money, I feel confidant in your ability to use those same skills to get the body weight results you want using a calorie counting chart.

Here's the deal. Using a calorie counting chart (just like a checkbook register), you

- keep track of the calories you take in each day. - decide how many calories you need to use each day for good health. - make adjustments in the amounts of calories available to you, through food choices and exercise.

The great thing is, it's all in black and white. No confusion. Just like with your money, if you know you want to purchase a new pair of shoes, then you make a satisfying choice to put your money towards those new shoes instead of buying a new cd. Or you choose watching a video at home instead of going to the movies, knowing you are going to be wearing those new shoes very, very soon.

A similar principle is in effect when using your calorie counting chart. (For a free calorie counting chart, see the author's resource box at the end of this article.) Using your chart, you can see what calories you have banked upfront. You know (or can learn) what types and amounts of calories you need to be healthy and happy. Now you can examine your food and movement (exercise) choices and make intelligent, guilt-free decisions. Easy decisions like

- using low-fat sour cream and cheeses instead of their high-fat counterparts. Especially when mixed with other foods, you won't even notice the difference.

- drinking a glass of water before you eat. Every time.

- chatting with a friend on your cell phone while you walk (choosing movement) instead of while you watch TV.

The bottom line here is that if tracking your body management is looking complicated to you, you can make it simple again. As simple as adding and subtracting numbers in a checkbook register. Only for this game you'll use a calorie counting chart.

As simple as that. <bio>Colleen Langenfeld has been parenting for over 25 years and helps other moms enjoy mothering more at http://www.paintedgold.com .
Have ever found a free printable chore chart and tried to use it? Then you know you need to do more than print it out and post it on your fridge in order for it to work. Here are the easy ABC's of successful chore chart usage.

A. Assign and Affirm.

-- Whether you give everyone their own chore chart or use a master chart, personalize your chart system to help your team 'own' their jobs. Add names to your charts and let your kids decorate them. It's just one way to get them excited and on board.

-- Make sure everyone gets chores that are age and ability appropriate. Likewise assign more challenging tasks as your kids grow up. Running a household means there is a never-ending stream of tasks to get done and your kids will need to know how to do all of them when they hit adulthood.

-- Appreciate your kids and instill confidence in them. Praise their efforts even when you feel like doing the job over again yourself. Explain they will need to practice to learn how to do a job efficiently and effectively.

B. Build expectations.

-- Put specifics on your chore chart. "Clean bathroom sink, mirror, toilet and tub" will get better results than "clean bathroom".

-- Go a step further than just writing specifics on the chart itself. Train your young workers to show them EXACTLY what 'clean' looks like. Demonstrate your specific standards and how to achieve them. Be sure and provide the tools necessary to get the job done right. Go over any safety issues carefully.

-- Explain how much time a standard job will take. If it takes YOU thirty minutes to adequately vacuum the house, how can your little novice do the same quality of work in five minutes? When a child knows that he or she must devote a certain amount of time to a task, they will often put more muscle behind their actions.

C. Coach and Celebrate.

-- Train your workers by working alongside them, especially the first few times. Consider this on-the-job training...because it is! Even more important, it's family time. Doing chores together is a wonderful way to chat with your kids about what's going on in their lives. You'll get better attitudes, too, when they understand they are part of a team...not just the unpaid help.

-- Be consistent in your standards. If you let standards slide because you don't want to provoke an argument, there's no way you can expect a terrific job the night before guests arrive. Stick to your standards from the beginning and you'll find your need to nag will decrease once your trainees know you mean business.

-- Do you enjoy being rewarded? So does your chore chart team. Be creative with your celebrations. A family game night is a great prize for a week of well-done chores with little or no reminding. Another great idea is a favorite meal prepared...as a family. A super prize is a bit of time off from chores (that will spur real competition among your workers). Who doesn't love a vacation?

Using a chore chart can be a great way to get your household organized. But only if you know the secrets to success. (For more tips and a free printable chore chart, please see the author's resource box at the end of this article.) If you can be patient in the short term, you will see excellent results in the long term with this simple tool and easy guidelines that have been successfully used by many, many families for years. <bio>Colleen Langenfeld has been parenting for over 25 years and helps other moms enjoy mothering more at http://www.paintedgold.com. The growing popularity of being skinny is beauty have greatly influenced why many people want their bodies thin.
Common chart indicators in the Forex trading system are used by Forex traders as tools to help evaluate the market and minimize trading risks. There are several common charts that are read and evaluated by Forex traders to help them make knowledgeable trading decisions in the market. The charts include Bollinger Bands, MACD, Parabolic SAR, Stochastics, and Relative Strength Index, or RSI.

Bollinger Bands are common charts that are used to measure the volatility of the market. These bands act as mini resistance and support levels. Two trading strategies that involve the Bollinger Bands are the Bollinger Bounce and the Bollinger Squeeze. The Bollinger Bounce strategy goes with the idea that the price generally always returns to the center of the Bollinger Bands. The Bollinger Squeeze is a trading strategy that is utilized to catch breakouts early in the game. Bollinger Bands are best used in markets that are ranging.

MACD is used to catch trends early on and can also help traders to spot trend reversals. The MACD is made up of two moving averages, one slow and one fast, and a histogram, which consists of vertical lines that measure the distance between the two averages. Because of the fact that the MACD uses so many moving averages, there is a lag involved.

Parabolic SAR is an indicator that spots trend reversals, and the SAR stands for Stop And Reversal. This common chart indicator is the easiest of them all to interpret, because this indicator only gives signals that are bullish or bearish. The candlestick chart is used with this indicator, and when the dots are above the candles it is a signal to sell. If the dots on the chart are below the candles, it is a signal for the trader to buy. This common chart indicator is used best in trending markets that consists of downturns and long rallies.

Stochastics are common chart indicators that are used to indicate oversold and overbought conditions. When the moving average lines go above seventy it is an indication to the trader to sell because the market is overbought. When the lines are below thirty, traders are looking to buy because this means the market is oversold. Relative Strength Index, or RSI, is like stochastics because it indicates conditions of overbuying and overselling on the market.

Each common chart indicator has strengths and weaknesses. Smart traders use at least three or four of these indicators to gauge which way the market is going. Common chart indicators can be a valuable tool for Forex traders if they are analyzed correctly.

Copyright =A9 2007 Joel Teo.
I potty trained quite a few kids over the years, but I have to tell you, my daughter has been the toughest so far. She is just such a stubborn child -- especially when it comes to potty training. If you are in the same situation, here are some tips that have worked for my daughter and me. With a little luck they will work for you as well.

Stick To Your Plan

Once you determined that your child is ready for potty training, it is especially important with a stubborn child that you stay consistent and stick to your game plan. Don't go back and forth between putting a diaper on her one afternoon -- because it is convenient and then expect her to go back to using the potty. This isn't a good idea for any child in potty training, but is particularly bad with your stubborn child. On that same note, don't give in to her when she asks for a diaper, or wets her pants. She may even try to hold "it". Check with your pediatrician to see how long you can safely stick to your guns in that case.

Relax and Keep Your Cool

Potty training a stubborn toddler can test your patience to almost no end. You will be tempted to blow off some steam at time -- and you should -- but not in front of your toddler. This is a difficult time for her and she needs all your support and cheering. She doesn't need to feel like you are disappointed in her. Do your best to relax and keep your cool. If you can't, then step out of the room for a few minutes to regroup or yell at a pillow -- out of hearing range of your toddler of course.

Make It Fun

How can you take the stubbornness right out of your toddler, when it comes to potty training? Make it fun! Add a drop or two of blue food coloring to the toilet bowl and tell your toddler she can turn it a different color by peeing in it. Drop a cheerio in the bowl for a little boy to use as target practice.

Use Positive Reinforcement

Using positive reinforcement is your best potty training tool while training a stubborn toddler. Become your child's biggest cheerleader when she goes in the potty. You can also offer her a small treat like a few MandMs or a sticker to show her how proud you are of her using the bathroom.

A great tool for positive reinforcement is a potty training chart. You can draw your own or find a printable potty training chart online. Each time your child uses the potty you either draw a smiley face on the chart or use a sticker. Hang the chart up so everyone can admire your child's progress. <bio>For more potty training tips a free e-course on potty training and a free potty training chart visit http://www.mypottytraining.com </bio>

I get confused whenever I am asked what my birth sign is, and you will understand my dilemma when I explain you. If you follow the western horoscope, then I was born under the Capricorn sign, but the oriental astrology birth chart had other ideas, it said I was born under the sign of the snake.

And my confusion was further compounded by the lack of similarities in the characteristics of people born under these astrology birth charts. This made me throw in the towel concerning what the future hold for me.

However, this did not prevent me from taking occasional peek at the horoscope section of newspapers, and I will marvel at the accuracy of the people behind this thing. It so happen that anything they say will happen, had in fact happened, and conversely the things they foretold had occurred.

The dilemma I face this time is how to determine which among my oriental and occidental astrology birth chart predictions will come to pass. This is because the characteristics mentioned were direct opposites and the prophecies as I prefer to call them, are very much the same.

To avert further confusion, I finally had both astrology birth charts drawn up so that I can decipher some useful tips from them.

The reason I adopted this approach was that despite the wide gulf between both signs, there might still be a small element of similarity in both astrology birth charts because of my identical time of birth, the date, place, and the location.

Again I found out that I got it totally wrong. What I failed to factor into my decision was the fact that both civilizations formed their astrology birth chart on the celestial chart depending on how each region sees it.

Thus I was viewed through the milky way by the western astrology birth chart, the oriental(read Chinese) sees it from a completely different perspective. My spirit has been dealt a fatal blow by this conflicting astrology birth charts.

Then I found out a solution to the whole logjam; I started telling whoever cares to listen that it will amount to outright foolishness to believe that the alignment and position of the stars or an astrology birth chart can collude to determine people's fate or destiny.

And since I made this decision, though my life has not improved much and did not take a tumble either, but my peace of mind is at least assured. I have practically lost faith in the all the noise about predicting the future, rather the slogan what will be will be has now become my article of faith. <bio>Benny Carlson http://family-and-babies.com http://babies-and-parents.com </bio>

Medical offices are busy all day with patients checking in and out, answering the phone and treating the patients. With every one of these patients comes a lot of paperwork. They have to sign consent forms, billing and insurance forms, medication forms and so much more. This translates to a lot of office work and paper work for the doctors and nurses. You may find yourself wondering if there is anything that can help reduce the time spent on all this paperwork. Yes there is. You can buy many labels that will increase your productivity and efficiency. By using colored labels you will be able to bring attention to important information, file charts, be able to find them with ease, and place them on notifications to patients. The labels come in ease dispensable boxes that allow the labels to roll right off and this gives for easy storage as well.

Allergic To....

These labels can be the most important part of the patient's chart. By using these boldly colored stickers you are alerting every caregiver of this important information. The best place for these stickers is on the outside of the chart, this way it will be the first item seen about the patient. You can also place a sticker that simply states the known allergies also so that they will also have this information in a convenient place.

Filing Labels

Every medical office does their chart filing a little different. Some use a number system, where each patient is assigned an ID number. Others use a unique variation of the patient's letters in their name. Some offices even use an alphanumeric system, others use a color and alpha system, and then others use the name and year in their filing system. No matter your filling method you can ease the assignment process by placing stickers on the charts. These are more durable and look more professional.

HIPPA

Every patient is required to sign a HIPPA form. Every office has to have one signed, the primary doctor, the specialist's office and even when the patient has to have surgery. The easiest way to keep track of this is by placing a stick either in the chart on the patient's demographics or on the chart itself.

Billing Labels

Anything to make the billing office run smoother is a wonderful thing. You can get stickers for each type of insurance that your office accepts and place this on the outside of the chart. This allows the billing personal to see the insurance right off the bat. This will help them in numerous ways. If the patient has questions, the staff will not have to go through half the chart to find the insurance information, or just for entering the bill. Stickers will also bring attention to certain billing paperwork to patients, from past due notices, to informing them of insurance payments, collection warning or just to say thank you to a paying account.

Other Labels
You can get labels to warn staff of patients with the same name so they can be sure to get the correct chart. Alerts are available for blood type, if the patient is diabetic or if they are a smoker. Some facilities also need to document how a patient was registered, for example emergency visit or outpatient.<bio>Written by Lawrence Reaves with permission from MaverickLabel.com a online printer providing a large variety custom printed labels for all business and personal needs.
Finding the right power for your reading glasses just got a whole lot easier. It used to be that people would put on any pair of readers, not paying attention to which power they need, and use their arm as an auto focuser.

Have you ever noticed someone at the restaurant struggling to see the menu? They pull out a pair of glasses to ease their eyes. But two seconds later, grab the candle to help them see even better. Then move their arm back and forth as an auto focuser. This person is not wearing the proper correction in their reading glasses.

So how do you avoid this situation? Simple, understand how readers work and what power you need to see that menu. The first thing to understand is that higher power readers work great to magnify the little print. However, the higher the power in your readers, the less range of focus you will have.

The second thing to understand is the role that lighting plays in your vision. Good lighting can mean the difference between a +1.50 and a +2.00. What does this mean for you? If you have a good lamp at your side when reading the paper, a +1.50 will allow you to scan the entire paper better. However, if your lighting is dim you may need a +2.00 reader. A little tip for all you reading glass wearers: If you carry a pair with you to go the restaurants or shopping, get a power slightly stronger than you normally wear. This will allow you to see those tiny price tags, read ingredient labels, and see that menu.

One other thing to understand about reading glasses is that they are completely safe for your eyes and you really can't mess this up too bad. If you get the wrong power, they simply won't work as well for you and your needs. But wouldn't it be wiser to get the right lens correction to begin with?

Reading glasses come in plus powers. They will range from +1.00 to +3.00, pronounced plus one. A +1.50 is pronounced as plus one fifty, and so on. A lower number depicts a lower the magnification and of course the higher the number, the greater the magnification.

The easiest way to figure the exact power you should be wearing is view a near vision eye chart. Eye charts are widely available online, one can be found at http://www.readinstyle.com this eye chart has text of a specific size. Simply hold the chart at your comfortable reading distance. Looking at the text, which is the smallest line you can see clearly? To the side of that text will be a reading glass power. That is all there is to it. That power is the power you should have in your reading correction. <bio>Suzanne Hughes has posted an eye chart online at http://www.readinstyle.com After you figure out the power you need, you will find plenty of designer reading glasses that come in the correction you need. </bio>

When it comes to investing on the Forex, there are two basic paths you can choose: Fundamental or Technical. Fundamental investors look at changing interest rates, GDP figures, and other economic indicators to help them anticipate fluctuations in the exchange rates of currency pairs. Technical traders, on the other hand, look for trends in the market to help them identify currency pairs and the best enter and exit points on a position.

Fundamental investors rely upon news releases and their overall impression of the economic outlook of nations in a currency pair. Technical traders, however, use charts and the application of analysis to help guide their investment decisions. Fundamental investors tend to be short-term investors while technical traders try to look at the bigger picture and be more focused upon the long-term pricing outlook.

In truth, most technical retail traders on the Forex market do not have the time to compile charts from scratch. While many retail investors do import information into programs like Excel in order to interpret the information, they still tend to rely on an outside source for the raw data. To do this, the technical retail trader relies upon Forex chart providers like the following:

•	FxTrek •	ESignal •	FX-Charts

So who is the top Forex chart provider? The answer to this question depends upon the individual investor but you do want to look for a provider that produces charts that are easy-to-read and relevant to the particular strategy you employ. Now there are chart providers that are going to insist upon offering up a ton of "insider secrets" to the market in addition to their charts. In fact, all providers will provide some degree of insight but this is no criteria to choose a chart by--this information will only confuse you and cause you to doubt your investment strategy.

If there is one common problem to most investors new to the Forex it is a tendency to over trade and ignore the stops they put into place when acquiring a position. Fear is a common human emotion and it guides more investments than people think but it also causes people to exit positions prematurely and over trade. While the opinions of investment experts may sound perfectly logical and a lot more involved than your own strategy--they are just opinions. The market is always right--no investing expert can claim likewise.

Once you acquire a position, place your stops and keep them in place. Losses will happen but you need to perfect your own investing strategy using continual back testing and chart analysis--not listening to the opinion of others once you are already in the game. What you need most of all from an FX chart provider is accurate and easy-to-read charts. While the advice may be helpful when learning the market and prior to acquiring a position, it tends to breed fear and cause doubt once you already are in the game. Thus, choose your chart provider based upon their charts--not the advice they produce each and every month! <bio>Article by Kent Douglas, author of "The Simple Forex Solution: The Easiest Currency Trading System Anywhere."
Astrology is based upon the celestial bodies and their positions at any given time. Astrology is a science, but it is also a divination tool. Astrology involves knowledge about the astrological plain and good mathematic skills. An astrologer can build a chart based upon any specific time and date in history. They then use this chart to explain to a person the answers to questions or details about their life.

Commonly when a person goes to an astrologer they will get a chart done that is called a birth chart. A birth chart is made using the persons exact time, date and location of their birth. The exact locations of the planets, sun and moon are charted based upon this information. The location of the planets, sun and moon then correspond to different meanings based upon their location.

Everyday use of astrology is shown in horoscopes which re loosely based upon the location of planets for a certain day or time period and how they relate to the signs of the Zodiac, which also play an important role in astrology. It is also common for people to refer to the location of planets to explain bad weather or other occurrences that seem more prevalent, for example the phrase 'Mercury is in retrograde' is used to explain why people seem to be a different mood than usual.

The role of the Zodiac in astrology is rather important. It is not only the location of the planets, sun and moon that is important when interrupting a report, but also what Zodiac sign a planet, the sun or the moon falls in at that time. Each of the twelve signs of the Zodiac carry their own traits, as do each of the planets, the sun and the moon. In astrology the effect of each planet, the sun and the moon changes depending what Zodiac sign it is in.

Astrology can be a difficult art to master. It requires plenty of knowledge and astrologers usually have many books and maps on hand in order to be able to pinpoint locations and such. They learn how to do charts for any time, date and location given. There are almost endless possibilities. An astrologer has to understand the basic layout of the planets, how they move and their location in relation to the earth and the Zodiac. It can take many years for an astrologer to master the skills needed to give an accurate astrological reading.

Astrology is based upon the thought that the way the planets, the sun and the moon are located within the heavens effect people in different locations differently. The natal astrology chart tells what a persons life will be like based upon their birth details. Astrology is a great tool to learn more about yourself. It can also be used by psychic readers to gain more insight into why something may be happening to a person.

When getting an astrology chart or reading it is important for a person to make sure their astrologer knows what they are doing. They should be able to answer any questions the person may have. They should have experience and be able to provide samples of their work and even references. An astrology chart or reading can be very expensive and before spending that amount of money a person needs to be sure they are dealing with a reputable astrologer.

Astrology can be a wonderful way get insight into a persons life. It combines the psychic world with the scientific world. Many people prefer astrology over other forms of divination just because of the complex and scientific nature. <bio>Marissa Valentin is owner and webmaster of a top rated psychic reading resource website .
The table below includes recommendations for pre-flop betting in low-mid limit Hold'em. This chart was created to assist new poker players, and attempts to illustrate (1) A list of 47 playable starting hands, (2) Groupings by stoplight colors (green-yellow-red), (3) How suited and non-suited hands compare, (4) Which hands you should fold by position, (5) Which hands you should call by position up to a certain number of BBs, (6) Which hands you should raise with, (7) How high you should call if someone raises behind you, and (8) How you should play the hands in heads up play (either in SB or BB). This is a lot of information for a small chart designed to be printed on the back of a business card or poster...

Colors - The colors are from a stop light, shades of green, yellow and red. Any card combination not shown on this chart should not be played unless you are stealing blinds from weak players, etc.. Raising more than these recommendations would be called semi-bluffing. The grid in the lower right suggests what you should do, raise or call a certain number of Big Blinds.

Early, Mid and Late Position - This chart shows betting by position assuming that there are many players. Late position is divided into two types of play, when many are in the pot versus few in the pot. The first number is the number of big blinds to (R)aise or (C)all on your first opportunity to bet, and the second number is the maximum amount to (C)all with this hand prior to seeing the flop. If the Chart says R2, and it the bet is already at two blinds, then you are to call. CA refers to Calling Any raise.

Heads Up - SB and BB - This is for heads up play, indicating whether you should call or raise when in the small blind (SB) or big blind (BB).

For instance, if your hand is a King and Nine of the same suit, then you have a yellow caution light, so follow the grid to the first yellow box after the words "Suit/Pr."

• In Early Position: Fold • In Mid Position: Call up to one big blind, and if it comes back to you a second time, call up to two big blinds. • In Late Position w/ Few players in the pot, call up to two big blinds, and up to three if it comes back to you a second time. • In Late Position w/ Many players in the pot, cal up to three big blinds, and if it comes back, call anything. • Heads Up in the SB: Raise to try to steal the BB, and call if the big blind raises you back. • Heads Up in the BB: Call. <bio>This Article is been published by http://www.PitBullRules.com and written by a poker lover that doesn't like the attention like most poker "GURU'S".
