Caring for and cleaning jewelry doesn't have to be difficult, but it is important that you do so carefully to prevent damage and possibly help to ensure a longer life. Well cared for jewelry will stand the test of time and have a much nicer appearance than jewelry that is generally left to collect dust and grime without being cleaned. The exact technique you use to clean and care for your jewelry will depend on the item itself.

Regardless of the type of jewelry you should obviously try to prevent it from being scratched, knocked or banged. Even if damage doesn't appear visible immediately, knocking jewelry can often lead to unseen damage. Over time this damage will build up or progressively worsen until your jewelry becomes irreparable.

Should your jewelry suffer any damage you should have it seen to as soon as possible. Take it your local jewelers and ask their opinion. In most cases they will either be able to fix it themselves or send it away to be repaired properly. Super gluing any piece of jewelry yourself is a bad idea.

Many chemicals can damage jewelry and you should stay away from chemicals in general. In particular, cleaning fluids, chlorine and bromine can have a detrimental effect on some jewelry. Take off any rings or other items and leave them somewhere safe until you're finished. Direct sunlight and extreme hot or cold conditions can also weaken the metal or jewel.

Use a jewelry cleaning cloth on metal jewelry and clean regularly using soapy water but ensure that you rinse it off thoroughly when you've finished cleaning. Use a very mild cloth to dab it dry and don't rub it too vigorously. You should also take care when storing jewelry. If you don't intend to wear it or show it for some time then place it in an airtight bag away from heating or particularly cold areas. These simple maintenance tips should ensure the integrity of your jewelry for many years. About The Author: Lavinia Snider is the editor Jewelry Palazzo. Get detailed information on jewerly.
I believe that car insurance is extremely important My own car is very important to me because I spent a significant part of my income when trying to buy it. So I have made it a point to get the very best in insurance for my car. One never knows when there might be an accident and the vehicle may have to be repaired.

However, despite my interest in cars, I used to think that motor insurance was limited to merely the vehicles that we ourselves drove. However, in these insurance crazy days, when even household pets are not safe from the clutches of insurance, why should other people's cars be safe either?

I found out about comprehensive car insurance a few days ago when I was surfing the Internet looking for some good car insurance quotes. Now, who would think that comprehensive car insurance covered the cars that banged into ours as well? Apparently, it does. Therefore, if tomorrow, some crazy driver rams his headlights into your taillights; your insurance can pay for the damage done to the offending car as well.

Now isn't that a little hard to gulp down? After all, if it is the other guy's fault, why should my insurance company pay for the damage to his vehicle? But that is the way some comprehensive car insurance packages work. Imagine, if you are a driver with little experience, and you unintentionally ram in to the car ahead of you, and that car has this kind of insurance, you will not have to spend a dime on damage repair.

Personally, I am not sure that I would like to pay for the damage done to another's vehicle by his own rash or careless driving. However, if I am the rash or careless driver, it would be a big burden off my chest when I am in for major repair work, and my insurance company steps in to take care of it.

The concept is an interesting one. It is not something that would really have occurred to me. Perhaps that is because I am loath to pay for somebody else's recklessness. But then insurance companies want more and more business. The only way to get increasingly growing numbers of customers is to come up with such gimmicky methods that will get people thinking and talking.

If you are interested in getting some comprehensive car insurance for your car, just check out the various offers on the Internet. If the idea of paying for third party cars does not appeal to you, settle for some regular car insurance instead. <bio>Read about car insurance quotes at http://www.nationsfinance.co.uk/insurance/ motor insurance at http://www.nationsfinance.co.uk/ and answer: Can an insured driver drive anyone's car? http://www.nationsfinance.co.uk/insurance/am-i-insured-to-drive-anyones-car= ..html </bio>

While care should be taken when undertaking any project around the house involving tools, particular care should be taken when using ladders or any other tool such as scaffolding to reach things off the ground. According to one study, falls accounted for as much as 90% of workplace related deaths in a five year period in the late 90's, and presumably, many of these people are professionals. If you ask any emergency room physician, ambulance driver, or EMT, they can probably tell you many stories about injuries people have sustained falling from ladders, or the place they used them to climb to. For this reason, it is important to have some basic knowledge about different types of ladders, what jobs they should and shouldn't be used for, and how to tell if your ladder should be retired.

When purchasing a ladder, this is not an area where you want to skimp. You want to make sure that your ladder is sturdy. Check the capacity (ladders have four different ratings for this) and the restrictions on how high you can go on it to make sure it is adequate for the job. Decide what material is best for the job you are doing. Ladders generally are wood, fiberglass, or aluminum. If you are looking for a relatively small ladder, wood can be a good bet. They tend to be less expensive than the other two types, and can be used around electricity as long as they aren't wet. Some care will have to be taken with a wood ladder to make sure that its strength isn't compromised by being banged up or left out in one too many rainstorms. If you need a larger ladder, go with one of the other two, wood starts to get too heavy in larger sizes.

Aluminum ladders are much lighter, a little more expensive than wood but still reasonable, and usually sturdy. You should not use them around electricity though, as they are excellent conductors and can cause serious injury if hit by live wires. Fiberglass is what most of the pros use, and it usually costs the most also, but has the lightweight and sturdy qualities of an aluminum ladder as well as being safe for electrical jobs. It also will survive being left out in the weather the best of the three.

When you use your ladder, make sure it is on a level surface, and don't stretch to reach things or climb higher than the recommended step. Use your head and you should be able to do that higher up home project without problems. <bio>Cathy Peterson writes about http://www.powertoolsmall.com/, "http://www.homeappliancesonsale.com and http://www.LatestCouponCodes.com/. </bio>

Imagine a stag weekend packed to the brim with everything that constitutes ultimate enjoyment in your mind -- a blend of cheap booze and beautiful babes all in a medieval setting. On top of that, you have a full-bonded tour operator such as Chillisauce that will show the best that a Talinn stag weekend has to offer.

So, what exactly does Talinn has that is so uniquely exciting? Well, if you are looking for a gruesome and bold adventure, there is the Mass Kidnap and Banged Up in a Russian Clink session. Perfect for a group stag weekend in Talinn, everyone in your group will be "kidnapped" by a group of Russian soldiers, placed under arrest and taken to the Patarei Prison. There you'll be subjected to prison procedure typical of prisoners and taken to a cell by warders. Amidst the occasional prison screams and cries, you are taken to a darkroom with practically no hint of daylight. This is as close as you can get in experiencing a day in prison!

Another exciting Talinn stag weekend activity includes a beer tasting session, a banquet and a tour of a brewery. Being in the oldest brewery in Estonia, you get to learn about the history of the brewery, taste exotic beer and eat your heart out at a mini brewery restaurant. Don't forget to get some souvenirs to let others know about this remarkable place!

Want to end your stag weekend with a night out at the hottest VIP club in town? Chillisauce has all the details and the contacts to take you to one of the most exclusive clubs in town, where hot girls are aplenty, plus an overflow of unbelievably low priced booze. A pint of local beer only costs between £1 and £1.50 here.

If you are looking a stag weekend with everything planned and taken cared of, just check out Chillisauce's services at www.chillisauce.co.uk for more details on your stag weekend in Talinn. As one of our managers, Shane Williss will be able to provide you with all the details you need to make this weekend one that you won't ever forget! <bio>Contact Shane Williss of Chillisauce http://www.chillisauce.co.uk, a fully bonded tour operator, for more information on how to make this a reality.
"What you're saying then is that life is a strange and beautiful process and that we really can enjoy this journey without much suffering, problems or hardship?"

"Absolutely. Yes," replied Gideon.

I continued, "I feel I've always known that and, yet,I couldn't believe it because my life has been far from simple and certainly not problem-free. This secret of life that you speak of, Gideon, I am familiar with it. But really, has it done me any good? Has my life been much better because I knew this secret? Furthermore, I believe lots of people know that secret and, yet, I don't think it's done them much good, either. So what's the use?"

"Being in possession of information is one thing. Doing something with that information is another matter altogether. You're right, John," continued Gideon, "absolutely right. Many know the secret. But few do anything with it. They prefer to sit back, to moan and whine about the injustices of life. They don't seem to have enough courage to take a chance on life, to do something with their lives. They'd rather be spectators than participants in the great game of life."

"And what's wrong with being spectators instead of participants, Gideon? Have you noticed, it's the players on the field who get awfully banged up and bloody?"

"There's nothing, absolutely nothing wrong, except the spectators don't get the same rewards as the participants. That's all. The funniest thing, though, is that we're all participants and spectators at the same time. It's just a variation on a point of view. Do something with the greatest secret in the universe and it will work for you. Stare at a monster long enough and you begin to become more like a monster. Associate and be close to God more often and you begin to become god-like. Being close to God has nothing to do with time and space. It has to do with awareness. You have to be constantly aware of this closeness and always feel the safety and security of being there."

"I know you don't mean that I'll have a problem-free existence," I said, "but it shouldn't always be so hard. Everyday isn't meant to be a struggle for survival, eking out a meager living just to barely exist in despair and sadness.
When it comes to wood molding, if you're looking for ways to put it to use in your home, you'll be glad to know that there's are tons of great uses for it. Using different types of molds, such as crown molding will give your home uniqueness, as well as increase your homes price point. When you're ready sell your home, your potential buyers will place much more value on your home since it will look different than your neighbors. Even real estate experts and pro's agree that having fancy molds in your home is something that people notice. Sometimes they can even close the sale on this aspect alone.

Your choice in wood molding helps show off your creativity as well as your style. It can provide your home with a comfortable atmosphere, which is essential for you to actually enjoy the home in which you live in. If there's a look that you've always craved, then wood molding can help you achieve that.

Molds come in so many different styles, allowing you to become your own person of originality when designing your wood moldings. You can transition into the artist of your home and craft your masterpiece simply through moldings.

You'll have tons of designs to choose from, and molding will give you the choice of creating the look for your home you have forever wanted. Furthermore, it can decrease the cost of finishing out your wall. It is much less expensive to finish the wall with molding than with any other product on the market today.

A great choice for wood molding is for door trim. There are many different styles to choose from, and just the fact of adding the molding alone is enough to transition the entire look of your home, no matter which style you choose actually. One good alteration is to opt to use wood blocks for corners instead of mitered corners. This gives you home a more decorative look.

Now, another great and common use for molding is baseboards. Walls these days almost look incomplete without them. However, even though they're common, this doesn't mean that yours can't be unique if you just use a little imagination and creativity. One thing to keep in mind however is that your baseboards must be durable, because much of time they're getting banged by feet (especially if you have children) and chairs, and all sorts of things. Therefore it's recommended that you use wood since this is about the most durable, and actually can be easily cleaned too.

The way you choose your molding is confined only by your imagination. It's a fast and easy way to spruce up any home whether for baseboards, door trim, ceiling trim, or window casings, you simply cannot go wrong when choosing your molding.

It's your creation, and you have that creative freedom to exactly what you want that will give you the atmosphere that will give you the best feeling when relaxing in your home. <bio>Focusing recent findings in lumber prices, Eric Slarkowski pens largely for http://www.insidewoodworking.com .
I think readers will agree with me that "The Next Thing on My List" is a wonderfully written heartwarming story about a woman's self-discovery that will have you hooked from the very first page. Jill Smolinski knows and understands her audience and delivers a winner with her second novel.

The story centers around a 34-year-old woman, June Parker, who is living aimlessly and without passion. Her life completely changes when she attends a Weight Watchers meeting and offers one of the other members, Marissa a ride home. Marissa is upbeat and celebrating her 100-lb weight loss. As she is reaching into the back seat to get June her favorite taco soup recipe, the truck in front of them suddenly loses a dresser off the back. To avoid a collision with the dresser, June swerves and flips the car over. June is banged up, but okay. Marissa is not so lucky; she does not survive the car crash. After the accident, June finds a list with 20 things on it that Marissa wanted to accomplish before her 25th birthday. Only two items are crossed off =96 lose 100 lbs, and wear sexy shoes. June finds purpose in her life as she works on completing the other 18 items in Marissa's honor. The list includes simple things like kiss a stranger and eat ice cream in public, to more complicated items like change someone's life and pitch an idea at work.

As June works on accomplishing the tasks, she finds that her life has new purpose and meaning.
When originally introduced to the marketplace, umbrella strollers were considered a very low cost, limited feature way to help parents transport their babies from place to place. Although they are still low cost, then advances in all kinds of technologies have allowed umbrella strollers to become not only comfortable for baby but also quite safe as well. There are several things to consider when you are shopping for an umbrella stroller. Most umbrella strollers share many common features such as lightweight and low cost and smaller size. Other features are not as common but excellent to have. One such feature to consider is how the stroller folds. Most umbrella strollers collapse quite compactly. Some have one hand fold mechanisms while others require you to used both hands and your foot as well. Which one is best for you is a matter of preference, but keep in mind the speed at which you can deploy or put the stroller away will be impacted by this feature.

Since they are generally smaller than the traditional single stroller, umbrella strollers are generally easy to transport and store. Being easy to store makes it easy for mom to pull out the stroller if there is an unexpected occasion which arises where the baby needs to be transported. And since most umbrella strollers are lightweight, using one when you are out for a day of shopping or running errands is a blessing in disguise. They are sturdy in design and can hold children up to 40 to 55 pounds, depending upon the manufacturer, and many are equipped with spring suspension are able to take the shock of going off a curb or a pothole in the sidewalk.

Strollers are designed with safety in mind, and umbrella strollers are no exception. Most strollers have a five-point safety harness which gives children the support they need to ride safely and not be able to get out of the stroller. The safety harness will keep the children in a seated position. The umbrella stroller also has a sturdy design even though it's light weight, so even if it gets banged around little, it will still be able to be used for months and even years.

There are some areas where umbrella strollers cannot compete with their larger counterparts. Usually under stroller storage is not available or minimal when it is there. You may or may not have cup holders or snack trays on your umbrella stroller either. And the wheels on umbrella strollers are not made for rough terrain of any kind as they are usually on the smaller side and many times made of plastic and not as long lasting as the rubber variety. Some umbrella strollers do not have reclining seatbacks and are therefore are not acceptable for infants under 4 -- 6 months of age.

If you have a need for a handy baby item and have a small budget, then umbrella strollers are a great item to consider. Umbrella strollers provide many features and benefits for generally low cost and are quite easy to use.<bio>Learn more about umbrella strollers and find out why an umbrella stroller may be a great choice for your next trip to the store.David Cummings is General Manager of Bustling Baby, a business devoted to providing baby mobility, comfort, and convenience to active families.</bio>

Generally speaking, strapping tools and plastic or metal strapping bands are an industrial requirement and aren't usually used in home settings. There are many home-based businesses that use these strapping machines from time to time in the packaging and shipping of their products, but the general homeowner would be better off using strong tape or twine for any sort of strapping of material around the home. Because of the size and material costs for strapping units and the strapping material itself, the homeowner wouldn't get as much benefit out of having one of these bulky units around the home. Innovation and consumer demand will provide a smaller, cheaper and more cost-effective way to provide strapping operations in the home or home-based business, but at this time there doesn't seem to be any real call for this form of portable, cost-effective strapping unit.

Steel strapping units are generally used in more industrial areas and businesses. Any sort of home strapping unit would most likely make use of the cheaper plastic strapping that is available. In this way the homeowner could package up whatever needed to be strapped easily and economically. As it stands now, there aren't many ways for the homeowner to strap items together except for tape, twine or heavy cord. There are companies that specialize in the sale of oversized rubber bands that allow for many items to be wrapped together, but this isn't really strapping them together in the strictest sense.

The strapping machines that use metal banding provide a very strong wrapping system but the straps themselves are sometimes sharp along the edges and if the strap gets banged up in transit, sometimes jagged edges can happen. This makes the handling of the steel strapping something that needs to be done with a lot of care. Some specialized training is required to properly use a strapping machine. If used by amateurs, the strapping can sometimes be bound on too loosely or not fastened off properly. Both of these mistakes can mean a dangerous package that may shift or completely topple over in transit.

There will most likely be a strapping machine that is meant to be used in and around the home or garage, but at this time it's not generally available to the public. If enough business owners start to demand that a machine of this sort should be created, then you can be sure that one will quickly be made to fill that need. Right now however, there is just not enough use for a strapping machine to be in and around the home on a regular basis. There's no sense having a machine around your home or garage that you rarely use, when a simple roll of duct tape or some heavy cord will do the trick just as well. When a strapping machine is brought to market that the homeowner can use cheaply and cost-effectively, you can be sure that others will also come out with the same sort of machine. Until that time, industrial strapping machines, whether using metal or plastic strapping, will be the choice of homeowners and businesses alike. <bio>ZR Tool designs and manufactures the highest quality industrial strapping tools, strapping machines, strapping heads, and replacement parts.
Vending machines were invented for convenience and to support the idea of vending without the use of a cashier. But out of convenience most of the time comes inconvenience when these machines experience technical problems. Since vending machines dispenses a wide variety of products ranging from snacks to beverages, candies to some countries ice cream. And in other locations newspapers are sold which are commonly called "honor box" , the problem with this particular vending machine is once you open the door you have access to all the products inside. So a customer either has to be really honest or knows that it is useless to have more than one newspaper. A good solution would be that the box has to have a weight sensor calibrated for certain number of newspapers it can contain. And has a calibrated weight for individual newspapers in the box for individual purchases. Thus when the customer gets more than one newspaper the box automatically sets off an alarm.

In other countries alcoholic drinks are also being sold through these vending machines. Some cigarettes and tickets to hot or cold drinks such as coffee and drinks which has ice dispensers and other noted vending machines dispenses iPods, fried foods , underwears and porn magazines and sexual lubricants. So, most of these machines cause different kinds of technical and mechanical problems. The most common problems are coin acceptors vending machines which most of the time jams up when there are foreign objects or a paper bill is inserted into the coin slot. This has to be checked every now and then. Another problem is when coins fill up past the coin detector which later on prevents future purchases. This should be cleared often. Some machines tend not to accept quarters and other coins the first time you put them in. it may be due to old worn coins. So you should have new coins available in your pocket.

Vending machines using a spiral mechanism to hold and dispense a products, mostly bagged products such as potato chips for example, poses problems which the products snags on the metal spiral when it reaches it full turn and fails to vend. Commonly it is because the product is not aligned when placed or following products was disaligned when it was banged by an outside source. The products should be aligned and so with the metal spiral. Other manufacturers attached a small piece of plastic to the tip of the metal spiral that extends to help push and clears the product from the spiral.

Other problems are when the machine is not being supplied with proper power or has a short circuit, damage due to vandalism, or poor maintenance. For the power supply problem operator has to check before operating. Vandalism and short circuits are uncontrollable sources that just have to be fixed when it happens. Condition of the machine has to follow strict maintenance procedures by the operator. Bills validators sometimes falsely reject a bill because it was dirty, crumpled, or ripped the solution to this would be using new bills. So it is good to have good bills with you in case you need them. Otherwise you have to have poor bills exchanged for new ones or just forget your want or need in the vending and just purchase in a store instead.<bio>Vending machines</bio>

As you grow in photography, you will accumulate many tools that you use in creating great photos to enlarge and display around your home: tripods - table top and full size, filters, lenses and lens accessories, light reflectors, flash, the occasional light meter, etc. And as you range far afield taking photographs, you will definitely need a convenient way to carry and manage these accessories, Here are the top three features to look for as you select this most critical accessory.

#1 - Easy to Carry. There are three main styles of gadget bag.

The traditional "over the shoulder" type bag that opens at the top for convenient access without putting the bag down in difficult situations, and it can be swung around to your back as you actually take pictures.

Next, the "belt type." This is very handy, but usually only good for smaller cameras and more limited collections of accessories. However, there are several "cone shaped" pouches that can be used on belt systems that keep larger cameras with long lenses "quick draw" ready for those quick shots. And the extra pouches can accommodate other lenses and accessories, also keeping them fingertip ready.

The "backpack type" bags will carry the most equipment, though they are a bit more difficult to access. These larger bags also usually have ways to carry full sized tripods built in, along with a complete array of camera gear, plus a sandwich to tide you over as you go through your photographic day - or evening. Some even have room for a laptop computer so you can offload images as you go about your photographic adventure.

#2 - Easy to Access. In many ways this is controlled by the number of pieces that you carry, and how often you have to handle and change them. A bag that is divided into separate compartments will keep your gear organized and at your fingertips ready for use - and better protected. Your own shooting style will help you determine how you want to access your equipment, but it should always be trouble free. Remember that caught straps can lead to dropped equipment.

#3 - Effective Padding. Definitely one of the most important factors. There should be enough padding to protect your valuable camera and its accessories (you wouldn't want a critical lens or accessory to get banged and broken just when you want to use it for that great shot), but not so much that it adds significantly to the weight and bulk that you have to carry. You may even consider two bags, one for moving equipment with lots of padding, plus a more lightly padded bag for actually walking around and shooting.

Within these three basic styles are an almost infinite number of variations and combinations. As you do your research, you will probably find that you will wind up with several different bags to use for different photography adventures. The important thing is to have the equipment you need easily at hand to create those great photos that you will proudly display around your home.<bio> See an illustrated version of this article here © 2008 Dan Davenport has been involved in photography for more years than he cares to think about.
When it's time to clean up outside and do the yard, certain tools are commonly used no matter where you are. But I'm not talking about gardens and gardening tools. I'm talking about the yard itself. If you've got a lawn, you'll probably own a lawn mower. If you have trees in your yard, you may have a chain saw, even an axe.

What's your plan when your blades become dull? When the lawn looks unhealthy after you've just cut it, when your chain saw is taking too long to do its job, when you're forced to keep swinging away with your axe because it's just not cutting right? Well, you know it's time to sharpen up those blades up.

Believe me, you don't need to buy new blades. You needn't go to a professional blade sharpener. Not everyone likes, or is able, to turn their blades in for professional sharpening once or a few times a year, anyway. You can do the sharpening yourself, right at home with your own hands using a sharpening file.

This could be the fastest sharpening because you'll be doing it yourself, right there where you are. It could be the cheapest sharpening because you won't be paying anyone to do it for you. You won't be spending gas money to go drop them off to a professional and then to pick them up. You won't have to buy new blades or chains. Isn't all that worth it?

Why use a sharpening file? Sharpening files are lined with strong cutting ridges that abrade, or smooth, metal or wood. There are many kinds to choose from. Each type is meant to work on a specific type of surface. The coarse grade file is meant to remove a lot of metal, like when you've got to reshape a blade edge that has been dinged, nicked badly or banged up. The smooth grade file is meant for edges that need to have a nice smooth finish. This is usually the last step in sharpening. Your choice will depend upon just how sharp you want your blade to be.

To sharpen a lawn mower blade, a bastard file is a good choice. It does a fine job of sharpening lawn mower blades. It's able to sharpen, as well as put a razor-sharp edge on your blade. If you prefer, there are special rotary blade files that can be used.

If home owners are fortunate, there are trees that enhance the look of their yard and home. Periodic use of a chain saw becomes necessary, in such cases. To sharpen the many cutting teeth of a chain saw, round files are used. They're also called chain saw files. The teeth on a chain saw come in different sizes. They're specified in the owner's manual, so be sure to check and use the right size. Don't just buy what you find. You could really ruin your chain.

Maybe you don't have a chain saw. Maybe you've got an axe. If you do then you'll probably know that working with a dull axe will make you frustrated and tired. You've got to make it sharp for your own safety and not just for the job you need to do. An axe file or a cross cut file may be used to get your axe in good working condition. If you prefer a razor-sharp edge, a flat file or a smooth grade file could do the trick. Tough working axes don't need such a sharp edge. But they do need it to be sharpened correctly in order to cleave through the wood. It all depends on just how sharp you need it to be.

Whether you have a lawn mower, a chain saw or an axe for maintaining your yard, you can do the fastest, and cheapest, sharpening job ever by doing it yourself. And it really isn't hard to do. It just takes a bit of time, patience and practice. You'll be developing very useful skills that could save you hundreds of dollars and a great deal of time. If you do it right, your blades could last your lifetime. Be careful.<bio>Len Q. is a master blade sharpener. It is easy to maneuver through malls, streets and parks. It is fairly lightweight and can be pushed very easily by even the tiniest of grandmothers. There are numerous accessories that can be purchased to keep the children safe from the elements as well as increase storage capacity. These few tips will make the double stroller even more efficient.

Weight Distribution

If you have children of different weights sitting beside each other than place the heavier items you bring with you behind the lighter weight child. This will distribute the weight more evenly and allow for easier maneuverability.

Heavy Terrain

If you plan on using your double stroller on dirt paths or grassy fields look for a brand with a heavy-duty wheel. If you did not purchase this type of double stroller than remove as much weight from the stroller as possible to make it easier to push.

Thirsty and Hungry Children

If you find yourself stopping every few minutes to give your child a drink or something to eat consider purchasing a few different accessories. There is a strap that will clip onto a baby bottle and then onto the stroller thereby preventing a child from flinging it out of the stroller. There is also a cup holder that can attach to the stroller beside the child's seat and hold a sippy cup. Along with the cup holder you can purchase a small bag that will also attach to the stroller next to the child that can hold snack items.

Thirsty and Hungry Mommy and Daddy

There are cup holders available for adults too. Some are insulated to keep drinks hot or cold. Be very careful where you use the drink holder for a hot drink, as you do not want it to spill on your child. There are also organizers that can attach to the top of the stroller for parents to put their own snacks in.

Traveling with your Double Stroller

If you are flying with your stroller you can protect it from getting banged up by purchasing a carrying case. Usually you will need to fold up the double stroller and remove the wheels for packing. But this extra effort will save on wear and tear of the stroller.

Climate Control

Always be prepared for the elements. There are many coverings you can purchase that will protect your children from rain, wind, strong sunlight and even mosquitoes. Many of these coverings will fold up into small pouches for easy storage in your double stroller.

Keeping Calm

A bored child is usually a cranky child. There are now many toys on the market that can attach directly to your double stroller and keep you children occupied for many hours. Look for toys with bright colors and multiple functions so they will keep the child's attention.

These are just a few tips to keep mom, dad and babies all happy and content on outings with their double stroller.
Who doesn't like furniture made of wood? There's a quiet beauty to wood, a timelessness, a hushed elegance that endures changing seasons, fads, and owners. When you buy wood stools, you bring the rustic feel of the forest into your home. You remind yourself of lazy afternoon walks through the countryside or a childhood spent clambering up mulberry trees. Whether solid or veneer, though, your wood stools require maintenance to retain its natural beauty.

The Usual Suspects

Moisture, dust, scratches, and dents are wood's worst enemies. Over the course of your wood stool's lifetime, expect it to get banged up, nicked, or cracked in more places than you would care to count. Its color could fade from a beautiful mahogany to a pale nondescript, sewer-water brown. After all, you can't subject your wood stools to heavy use and expect it to stay unchanged.

So, how do you keep your wood stools all loved up and pretty?

Dust Away!

Dust wreaks havoc on your finish. In fact, even a thin film of dust creates scratches on your wood stool. The more dust that gathers on your furniture, the more it peels away at the finish, eventually exposing the wood and making it vulnerable to further damage.

To keep the dust mites away, dust your wood stools regularly. Use a soft cloth. A rough or craggy one will only damage your finish. Additionally, slightly dampen the cloth so you can trap dust instead of sending it airborne. There's no point in sending dust flying. It will only land gobsmack someplace else, say, on another wood stool or on your dining table.

Polish Up

Polish helps your wood stool keep its sparkle. In choosing furniture polish, though, there is no need to tear your hair and agonize over having to choose between oil or wax.

Here's the lowdown on both. Oil will make your wood stools gleam with life. However, oil attracts rather than repel dust. When you coat your furniture with oil, it will blend in with dust, thereby making it harder to remove in days to come. But if oil is harmful, why do many people use it? The answer is that oil helps the finish. Note, though, that while it helps the finish, it ends up damaging the furniture. Over time, your wood stools' finish will lose moisture and will start chipping away.

Ultimately, your wood stools would be better off with wax. Wax protects the wood itself, not the finish. The best protection for wooden furniture is a paste wax that has more carnauba and less paraffin.

Refinishing School

Scratches and dents are as much a part of wood stools as wrinkles are on our faces. Fix scratches with wax sticks from the local hardware store. Then, apply the wax evenly, filling out the hole or the dent to make the surface appear even again. Use wax that closely matches the color of your wood.

When you buy wood stools, you buy them fine and beautiful. With proper care, you can help them stay that way for years, if not decades. <bio>Considering wood stools ( http://www.simplybarstools.co.uk/natural-wood-chrome-bar-stools-c-6.html ) for your home?
Dear Success Seeker,

First of all, I hope you're having a fantastic day. I know you've had some really good things happen in your life already today. I also realize there's a good chance you've been a little bruised and banged up by life's ups and downs.

What can I say: life happens.

But to leave it at that and not probe deeper into the mystery of yourself?

That's a mistake.

It's a mistake because whether you realize it or not, you're constantly creating your life. Take it or leave it...that's how it is.

To better understand this, let's look at a principle taken directly from the 'Limitless Wealth Success System'

PAGE 21

andquot;He ceased to fight for anything, knowing, as he looked back over his life, that resistance and resentment create an energy which is always destructive and that it is far better to let go of everything which can be held only under the andquot;Law of Forceandquot; and use the energy toward creating something else under the andquot;Law of Harmonious Attraction.andquot;

He Ceased to Fight for Anything

My partner Laura and I had an animated discussion about this the other day. Look, this is a warring universe. Not only are nations at war around the globe all the time, but positive and negative energies themselves are always in conflict with one another.

So the point I was making is this: you have not only the right but also an obligation to defend and preserve your home, the safety of your family and even your personal space.

You have to set the rules on how people can and can't treat you. If you don't, then the people who are driven by power without love will certainly walk all over you.

At the same time, what Laura focused on was so important I knew I had to share it with you - because it's about the Law of Attraction working in your life. She said this to me:

When life doesn't appear to be going 'your way', don't get angry and resentful. All that does is magnetize you to more of the same (remember: the goal is to attract into your life more of what you do want).

If your wife, your husband, your children or your boss..if anyone in your life does something that hurts you or invades your space, by all means 'establish yourself' and let them know what's acceptable and what isn't.

The Dual Nature Of This World

But you have to leave it at that. If you continuously focus on the dual nature of this world, you'll only experience anguish, frustration and ultimately...failure.

(By the way, Law of Attraction is at work all the time! As I'm writing this, I decided to take a break for a minute and check email. I received three messages and one was titled, andquot;Livan War real picturesandquot;. And I'd just finished saying that this was a 'warring universe!')

Frustration, fear, resentment and feeling like everyone is out to get you - these will all be very real experiences for you if you keep your attention on them and harbor these negative energies inside yourself.

So to start working with the Law of Attraction more proactively, here is what I'd like you to do: for the next few days, practice relaxing.

If something seems to 'go against you', I want you to tell yourself, andquot;this is really working in my favor. I may not know how or why, but I believe it will lead me to better things. Say this as many times as you have to.

Tell yourself, andquot;this is really working in my favor. I may not know how or why, but I believe it will lead me to better things.andquot;

Eventually, belief and faith will turn to knowingness...you'll know with certainty that you are powerful, you are on your way to having massive success, and, most importantly: your efforts are supported by life.

* You are powerful. * You're on your way to having massive success. * Your efforts are supported by life.

To Your Accelerated Success,

Keith Matthew and Laura Roman Lopez <bio>Keith Matthew and Laura Roman Lopez have been teaching Law of Attraction and wealth building techniques for more than 12 years.
Fixing up a porch is a great idea that will extend the use of your home considerably. Using just some paint, stain and basic carpentry skills, you can make your porch a pleasure to spend time on.

An example shown on <a href="http://DoItYourself.com" >http://DoItYourself.com shows a couple from Georgia who wanted enjoy their extended warm seasons of spring, summer and fall, but avoid the problems of mosquitoes and decided to take their slab concrete patio and make it into a screened in area they could enjoy almost all year long.

The patio was just concrete square under a roof overhang. They wanted the porch to blend in with the home, as well as protect the family from the heat, humidity and insects of the Georgia summers. The concrete slab declined slightly to allow for runoff, so there had to be some adjustments made to accommodate this feature.

Here is their step by step solution:

Step One. Cut pre-primed 4X8 sheets of beadboard ceiling paneling.

Step Two. Install the celing paneling and the ceiling fan. They used a nail gun to make the installation of the ceiling panels faster and easier than trying to swing a hammer upward. Before all of the panelling was installed, the ceiling was wired for the fan and light. This will allow the porch to remain cool and the light will allow the room to be used at night. This was a two person job, with one person holding the fan and the other connecting the wires and screwing the fan in place. The finish trim hid the seams in the paneling.

Step Three. Frame out the porch. Using 2X4 boards, they spaced them to allow for standard width screen to be installed. The crosspieces were nailed directly through the vertical braces.

Step Four. Install the interior panelling. Pine and plywood bead board paneling was secured by staple gun. These had to be trimmed along the bottom to accommodate the uneven floor.

Step Five. Install and level the exterior paneling. The harbor ad exterior panels wear put into place, from the bottom up. The first one had to be custom cut to allow for the uneven ground line and then the rest followed. These panels were painted to match the existing exterior of the house, so there was a lot of trial and error to match the aged yellow paint exactly. But weather resistant exterior paint was used so that it can be easily kept clean by rinsing Wit soap and water. Step Six. Do the screening. Vinyl grids had to be screwed directly into the wooden frames. Then the screens were attached to the channels in the grids, so the fiberglass or aluminum screens could be slid in without using staples. When the screens were rolled into the grids with a spline, the extra screening material was cut off. With a mallet, the caps over the vinyl channels were banged into place. <bio>Concentrating on news and information about saw sharpening, Ray Walberg pens essentially for http://www.insidewoodworking.com .
It's simple! Follow the "rules of the road". With few exceptions, when operating a bicycle on the streets and highways you must comply with the motor vehicle traffic regulations of your state and locality. Yes, you have all the rights of a motor vehicle driver, but you also have the same responsibilities they do. That means you must drive on the right side of a two way street, except when overtaking or passing. You must obey traffic lights and signs. At uncontrolled intersections, remember the vehicle on the left yields the right-of-way to the vehicle on the right.

Where bike paths or lanes are available, use them. When traveling with a group, it is best to ride single file and never more than two abreast.

Signals are important. Turning right? Extend your right hand and arm in a horizontal position straight from and level with your shoulder beyond the right side of your bicycle. Turning left? Extend your left arm straight and level to the left side of your bike. For slowing down or stopping, extend your arm downward to your side. By following the regulations applicable to motor vehicles (which the law requires you to do, like it or not), you make it less likely a motor vehicle driver will misunderstand what you are doing and where you are going. Such misunderstandings cause accidents.

Wear a helmet! Because head injuries are ordinarily the most serious type of injury in bicycle accidents, always wear a helmet when cycling. Your helmet should meet U.S. government safety standards. Check for the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) sticker. Make sure your helmet fits securely and is level on your head. The straps should be fastened snugly. Worn improperly, your helmet will not protect you as it is designed to do. And how old is your helmet anyway? You may need to replace it if it's more than 20 years old or if it lacks the CPSC (or ASTM or Snell) label. If the helmet foam is cracked, if the helmet doesn't fit correctly or if the helmet has been banged up in a crash, replace it.

Visibility is key! If a motor vehicle driver can't see you, he won't take steps to avoid hitting you. Wear light colored clothing that stands out such as yellow or white. Tie a reflector strap around your pant leg or wear a jacket or shoes furnished with reflector tape. Attach a lamp to the front of your bicycle for use at night, during twilight hours, or in bad weather. A tail light is a good idea as well.

Check your equipment before you ride! Are your brakes in good repair and are they correctly adjusted? You don't want to ride a bike with worn brake pads or faulty cables. Are your tires properly inflated and in good condition? It is always a good idea to oil your chain regularly and ensure it is in good working order. Make certain your bicycle seat, handlebars, and wheels aren't loose, that they fit tightly.

These are just a few tips for safer cycling. Use your common sense and always remain alert to your surroundings and nearby vehicles. Bicycling is great exercise and a wonderful hobby. Just make sure you remember the safety rules while you enjoy the ride. <bio>Elizabeth M.
Asking the critical questions is crucial to getting the right jewelry at the right price. If you're comparison shopping for gemstones or jewelry, there are a few key questions you should ask of every jeweler and about every piece before you buy. In this article, we cover them all.

Remember, a reputable jeweler should be able to answer all these questions and include their responses on your item's bill of sale. Always have all gems' statistics verified by an independent retailer.

For someone to pose as a phoney jeweler, it is not that difficult to con the unsuspecting into purchasing fake jewelry that looks real to the naked eye at high - but discounted - prices. So requesting that your jeweler respond to key questions should help to build your confidence that you are working with a reputable individual.

Keep reading to learn what to ask before you buy your next piece of jewelry:

1. Is this a natural stone or a synthetic stone?

Bear in mind that synthetic stones can legally be described as "genuine," so don't get confused. Natural stones are mined naturally and develop with little human intervention. Synthetic stones are typically grown or "enhanced" with chemicals.

2. Is the color all natural?

Some gemstones can be enhanced with dyes, heat treatments, radiation, oils or colored waxes. Before you buy, ask if the color has been enhanced. Be sure to protect yourself against buying dyed pieces that won't retain their colorful brilliance over a long period.

3. What is this stone exactly, and what does the name mean?

Always be sure you understand the name of a particular stone. For example, "Rio Topaz" is a gemstone, but it's not topaz. Ask specifically what a stone's name means and whether it is natural, genuine or synthetic.

4. Is the clarity acceptable? Do the inclusions devalue the stone or affect its durability?

Because too many inclusions or flaws can actually negatively impact the durability of your stone, it's important to ask your jeweler to be up front about the effect a particular diamond or stone's inclusions will have on your purchase.

Ask him or her to write this answer out on paper and bring it with you to your independent appraisal.

5. Do you like the color? Is it too dark or light?

Color is often a personal preference, but asking your jeweler's opinion can give you an indication of how a particular stone's color can affect its value.

Use some common sense in your own assessment of the stone. If it's unattractive to you, there's a good chance that many others would view it similarly, and thus its true market value may not be as high as it is being sold for.

6. Will the color stay permanently?

Similarly to the second question above, because some color enhancement methods are temporary, it's important to ask if a stone's color will fade over time. Even with natural stones like amethyst and kunzite, fading is possible. If the color does indeed fade over the years, your own enjoyment of the gem will likely fade as well.

7. Does this stone need a special, protective setting?

Some less durable stones, like emerald or opal, require a protective setting designed to keep the stone safe in case it's banged or hit. These types of stones ought not be set up in a vulnerable or unprotected casing. Such protective settings will obviously add to your overall cost, but would be well worth the investment if the gem were to be damaged.<bio>For information on exquisite jewelry ideas to enhance your natural beauty, please visit www.jewelryadvance.com, a popular site providing great insights concerning personal adornment, such as John Hardy jewelry, cultured pearl necklaces, discount diamond earrings and many more.</bio>

According to Marilyn Monroe, diamonds are a girl's best friend. Indeed, for many girls they are the number one choice when designing their own engagement ring. The sparkle and brilliance given off by a well cut and quality diamond can be hard to outshine.

There are many advantages to a diamond engagement ring:

* Go with anything. The traditional colorless diamond is of course going to go with anything. All colored outfits, and blacks and whites look superb with diamond rings. Even more importantly, any other jewelry you already have, or aspire to own in the future, will always match a diamond engagement ring. This can be an important consideration for some girls, particularly if you are partial to pearls. Your strand of pearls and diamond engagement ring will always look absolutely stunning together.

* Hard wearing. Diamonds are the hardest gemstone in the world. This means that they are impervious to being banged and knocked around. (However, it is important to remember that the setting holding your diamonds in place is not quite so indestructible.) If you lead an active lifestyle you may prefer to have a diamond ring to minimize the risk of damaging your stones.

* Multiple shapes. Diamonds lend themselves to being cut into a variety of shapes. From traditional round to square to emerald to marquise to heart, the variety of shapes to select from is staggering. Many contemporary designs of engagement rings are incorporating several cuts of diamonds into the one ring. This can add a lot of visual interest and sparkle to your ring. Great examples are baguettes being added to shanks, and square or Asscher cuts being surrounded with tiny brilliant cut diamonds.

* Various prices. Diamonds are available in a wide range of prices to suit any budget. The color, cut, size, and clarity of the diamonds will all play a part in determining how much, or how little you pay. When designing your own engagement ring you will be able to liaise with your custom jeweler who will be able to provide you with various pricings and diamond alternatives.

* Colored diamonds. Diamonds are now available in a wide array of colors apart from the traditional bluish white. Popular other colors now include pink, yellow and black. Pink diamonds in particular are extremely popular, but also quite costly due to their rarity. Champagne and cognac colored diamonds are less expensive and can be used to bulk up an engagement ring while keeping the price tag down. Colored diamonds can be a fantastic way to add some subtle or spectacular color to your engagement ring while still maintaining the extreme hardness of all the stones in your ring.

* Other gemstones. Some girls have a favorite color that they may wish to incorporate into their engagement ring. Rubies and sapphires are popular choices to add to diamonds.
Physical therapy is now a booming business that has come a very long way in a very short period of time; in fact it's one of the fastest growing industries in the world. New physical therapists are entering the field every single day to treat the ever growing pool of people requiring treatment for all different kinds of injuries and ailments.

Injuries are a fact of life, not just for professional athletes but for regular people too. An elderly person who slips in the shower and breaks a hip, or the dock worker that injures his back lifting heavy box after heavy box or the middle aged woman that gets banged up in a hit and run collision all require the services of a properly trained physical therapist.

Where are Physical Therapists Employed?

The answer to this question could go on and on - Professional, amateur and college sports teams often employ their own physical therapists. Hospitals, free clinics and nursing homes all may also one or more physical therapists on staff.

Specialists in sports therapy, specific types of injuries or bariatric care may operate their own office and see several patients from varying backgrounds a week.

There are a multitude of different specialties and paths that are available within the wide field of physical therapy, and that means that there is an ever widening array of physical therapy equipment and physical therapy supplies available, so that every general and every specialized physical therapist can have everything that he or she needs to be able to properly treat the injury of what ever patient happens to walk through the door next.

Tools of the Trade

Sports therapists use probably the widest variety of physical therapy supplies to deal with everything that they may encounter on a daily basis. A sports therapist needs to be prepared to handle everything from the minor aches and pains that their athletes incur on the field every single day, but they also need to be prepared to deal with the rehabilitation of serious injuries that require surgeries and sometimes months of treatments to heal.

A large sports therapy treatment center will often almost appear to be over run with equipment. There could be a fully stocked hydrotherapy section with standing and seated whirlpools; mobility stations complete with parallel bars, standers and stair training equipment; and most will also have a full array of massage therapy equipment with massage table and chairs as well as a variety of creams, oils and other massage therapy supplies. Many specialized physical therapists today are also certified in one or more types of massage therapy as well.

Depending on the particular area of specialty, a physical therapy clinic may even have a variety of x-ray and imaging equipment available as well as a full array of chiropractic supplies and equipment so they can be as full service as possible to their potential clients.

Regardless of the avenue of specialty a physical therapist chooses, he or she will surely need a wide variety of equipment to be able to perform the job to the best of his or her abilities.

Getting the best result possible from a physical therapy session, whether it's just to work on a strained muscle or rehabilitation from a major surgery, requires not only an adept therapist but also the best possible equipment for the method of treatment. That's why there are so many options available and why new and better ones are being developed and implemented every day. Physical therapy is a very involved and precise trade, one where perfection is an absolute must in order for the correct outcome to be achieved - so for as long as the trade of physical therapy continues to be a booming one, most likely so will the development of new pieces of physical therapy equipment.<bio>Physical therapy equipment provider offers physical therapy supplies including massage tables, medical equipment, and chiropractic equipment.
