Anthony J Mahavorick or Anthony Robbins is a well known personal development expert, but do you know that he has written a book on weight loss diet? If you doubt that a success coach can write about losing weight, just look at the man himself who was once a lumbering grossly overweight chap to now, a handsome trim man full of energy and inspiration.

Anthony Robbins himself said, "If you want to succeed in any aspect of your life, just find someone who has succeeded in that area and do what he did to get there." Now, Tony Robbins has succeeded in losing weight, so don't you want to do what he did?

Anthony Robbins Diet is somewhat similar to Robert Young's theory of alkalizing the body to lose or maintain one's weight although it distinguishes it with an entire way of changes of lifestyle.

The Anthony Robbins Diet is a vegetarian diet approach to life. He believes that if we do not alkalize out bodies we are heading towards self destruction. So he advises us that we should consume more alkaline vegetables and fruits and at the same time should avoid eggs and other such acidic foods to improve our health.

In reality, this diet program is not just merely about losing weight but is focused on achieving overall fitness as well as good health. When most diets, especially low carb diets like Atkins diet make us feel fatigued and sometimes even irritable, Anthony Robbins's diet program don't.

If you have read any of his personal development success books or attended any of his seminars, you will know that Tony Robbins is a health motivated man and talks of how he plans an entire life's outlook rather than merely losing weight. He teaches people how to achieve high self esteem and confidence.

Anthony Robbins Diet plan teach us how to eat vegetarian foods that are rich in alkaline so the body can maintain a ph of 7.4. He also discussed the importance of vital breathing in this book. He advocates that one must breathe correctly so that the body can get maximum oxygen from the breath. By ingesting more oxygen, our bodies will create a more alkaline environment and this in turn help in the optimum functioning of the human body. It is only when the cells are unable to release their toxins that problems such as weight gain occur. So with more oxygen, the cells in the body will be healthier.

In the diet, he encourages people to drink at least three liters of alkaline water and advises people to exercise regularly. This is because without regular exercises, the lungs do not get enough oxygen. The diet plan suggests that people need to do cardio exercises at least four days a week. Cardio or aerobic exercises strengthen the heart and lungs and also draws in high oxygen intake.

Not surprisingly, he also preaches weight loss goal setting. As the book claimed, with the Anthony Robbins diet plan, practitioners will not only gain good health and weight loss but also a happy and relaxed mind.

If your goal is to lose weight and be healthy, perhaps Anthony Robbins diet plan is just the solution for you. <bio>Chris Chew is the author of "Burn Fat Build Muscles Fast".
There's no doubt about it. Audio books have made life a whole lot easier.

For those of us who like to workout to stay in great shape, audio books can help us achieve this with less stress.

No longer should you engage in workouts just listening to music or to the radio. Now, with audio books, you can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Below are exact ways in which you can use the power of audio books to maximize your workout.

One - there are educative audio books that will show you more beneficial ways of staying in shape. Many people who workout don't even know the right ways to do so. Instead of guessing it, there are great audio books that will help you out.

No matter how much you think already know about working out, there are audio books out there that will teach you much better ways.

Some of these workout related audio books come with calming music in the background, thereby making you stay focused and attentive during the workout.

Two - audio books during workouts help to take your mind away from the physical activity. Instead of concentrating on the pain of the workout, you will be concentrating on the message contained in the audio book.

This will allow you to stay longer when working out. If you usually jog for, say 10 minutes, with an interesting audio book you will be able to increase the jogging time to, say 30 minutes or more.

Three - there are specific audio books that talk about the importance of staying in shape and looking great. Such audio books can be great during workouts.

They help to give you more reasons why you should stay at it working out, instead of giving yourself excuses why you shouldn't.

For example, audio books by motivational experts such as Anthony Robbins who was previously overweight, but now has lost weight and looks great, can influence you on the need to workout, even when you don't feel like it.

These books will help you to understand why you should workout to lose weight and realize that if Anthony Robbins could do it, you can do it too.

Four - for those who might want to give up their exercise when it gets difficult, an inspiring audio book during exercises can influence and motivate you to keep at it.

So, if you have always had a problem with sticking with your workout, get some great workout related and motivational audio books, such as Anthony Robbins "Awaken The Giant Within" and "Unlimited Power".

Not only will these helpful audio books help you mentally, they will help you stick to your workout plan. And eventually you will look great physically and feel great mentally. <bio>Janet Rusky is an upcoming author who runs one of the best audio book stores on the internet where 7000 titles divided in hundreds of categories are available for immediate download. http://best-audiobook-store.com </bio>

There are many baby boomer geniuses out there, and many more who have accomplished great feats. One who comes to mind and is at the top of the list, and has had tremendous influence on so many of us. His name is Anthony Robbins. He created an empire with an idea. However his idea is so powerful that it has affected millions of people. And of course the idea has many facets, and has developed with our changing times. Human behavior has been a popular topic for many years. Norman Vincent Peale had a simple strategy for the power of positive thinking. It was pretty simple at the time, but has become far more complicated as time has progressed. It is compared to how lives have also become more complicated. For example televisions that used to just have on and off buttons...Well you know the rest of the story.

I personally became acquainted with his teachings about eighteen years ago, when his remarkable journey was destined for tremendous success. After reading about his dark times and seeing what he accomplished afterwards was of great inspiration. He had gained a lot of weight, difficulty paying his bills and not at all happy with his life. It is said that he had to wash his dishes in his bathtub. However, this situation did not last long. It is proof that anyone can make radical changes in life at any point, no matter what the circumstances are. People tend to get stuck and feel that the situation they are in will never change. So the self pity grows by leaps and bounds not leaving much room for developing new and creative ways to improve and enjoy life.

To my knowledge, he does not possess any advanced degrees but studied voraciously on his own. He always had great insight into people's psyche and what needed to be done to solve enormous problems. There is also proof in life that we can achieve and accomplish great feats and have many of the things we want with a passionate dream. However it is not enough to just want and dream about something, but the commitment has to be so great that you live with your dream 24/7.

In his books and tapes there are many examples, exercises and methods for achieving these goals. Just when you think everything has been said and every guru has had his day something new emerges. It proves there is always room for one more great idea.

Anthony Robbins has changed many people's lives, but only by people who were willing to follow his teachings and stick with them. How many times have you gone to a seminar and came out a "changed person", only to lapse back into old habits in a few weeks. It is a daily commitment and effort to create these changes in life.

Robbins is a man who practices what he preaches, and is blessed with untiring energy and enthusiasm. Not only has he created a great empire, but has given back in so many ways. Of course it does help that he is tall, handsome and dynamic. He is on the end of the baby boomer ladder, but we can proudly call him one of us.<bio>Carol Stanley Speaker and Author For Kids 59.99 and Over http://www.carolstanley1.com</bio>

Crises in life can actually turn out to be blessings in disguise. Some of the world's most successful people discovered their true vocation and passion in life as a direct result of personal crisis. One of the world's most successful life coaches is Anthony Robbins, whose life reached rock bottom when his business failed. He went from `Wonder Boy' to `Oh Boy!' according to the way he tells the story and ended up living in a tiny apartment without even a kitchen sink, forcing him to wash his dishes in the bath.

According to Robbins, it was this personal and embarrassing public failure that forced him to rethink his life. He reevaluated his personal beliefs and values and assessed how he had ended up at such a low point in his life. He also took time to reflect on the things that really mattered to him searched deep within himself for passion and purpose. He decided that his goal was no longer to simply make a living, instead he would consciously design his life from the inside out. Anthony Robbins claims that suffering and failure can lead us to undertake a journey of personal transformation. Human beings can tolerate a lot of mild discontent and unhappiness. Sometimes it takes something big to shake us out of our lethargy and put us on the path of finding our passion and purpose in life.

Tony Robbins is not unique. There are many very successful people who have also discovered that purpose and passion go hand in hand. If you feel you have a strong purpose to fulfill, it is easy to be passionate about it. This belief system can move us away from a life of survival to one of significance. Significance refers to the impact our life has on others and on the world generally. The more significant we feel that our life is, the more passionate we are likely to become about what we are doing. As we become more passionate, we become more energized to accomplish our goals and move towards our vision. The economic benefit of living with passion is that we are able to accomplish more every day, succeed at what we do and are more likely to experience a financial reward as a result. When we live our lives with passion and purpose things can only get better!

It is not always easy to decide to live your life with passion. It takes courage, commitment and faith to look beyond your present life to a better vision. Ultimately, your decision to discover your passion and purpose and live accordingly will lead to significant benefits, including an improved financial position. However, these benefits will not happen overnight and determination, patience and persistence are necessary ingredients for your long term success.

When you are motivated by a sense of purpose and passionate interest, life becomes invigorating, challenging and inspiring. You will be stronger and more peaceful for knowing that you are contributing in some way to a better world. The decision to live with passion will lead you to discover your own inner truth, trust yourself, and transcend your current circumstances. It allows us to experience a larger vision for our life and to actively design our life rather than being caught in the trap of simply making a living. <bio>http://yourmoneyniche.com </bio>

Marc Anthony would make a very good actor playing the part of a lover.

Anthony is a very sociable, congenial person and he wilts very quickly without relationships with good friends and people to share good times with. He is also quite happy when he is a part of a club, support group, or team of some sort.

Marc Anthony thoroughly enjoys working with others on group projects or community activities. He has a strong desire for harmony and beauty in his surroundings. Very interested in art, he is likely to devote his life to beauty and art. He may pursue a career in cultivating and embellishing the environment.

Though he wants close relationships very much, Marc Anthony often closes himself off and does not really trust others who may wish to get to know him. Anthony is very wholehearted in his feelings and responses to people, and he wants all or nothing from the people he cares for.

Marc has conflicting emotional desires and needs which complicate his personal life and relationships. He may feel that he cannot depend on his love partner to take care of him or perhaps Anthony cannot decide what he really wants in love relationships: a parent or a lover.

Marc Anthony possesses the gifts of tact, courtesy, consideration, and a strong desire to please and understand his love partner. Because he values harmony so much, Marc Anthony will compromise a great deal to avoid any discord or conflict in his relationships. However, Marc takes slights and rebuffs very personally and though he may forgive a transgression by a friend or loved one, he never forgets it.

In love relationships, Marc Anthony wants an intellectual peer, an equal, and a friend. He is attracted to people who have a certain finesse, delicacy, and subtlety. Marc Anthony appreciates good manners and refinement and is not happy with a coarse, blunt type of person.

It is hard for Marc to express his feelings and emotions to other people. He may feel especially inhibited in matters of love relationships and could feel dissatisfied and unfulfilled. Sometimes, Marc Anthony tends to feel lonely, even when he is in the company of others. <bio>Article can be reprinted with copyright addressed to Shlomo Tommer, partner with Top Synergy Relationships Group [http://www.topsynergy.com/], and editor of Marc Anthony's Astro Profile [http://famous-relationships.topsynergy.com/Marc_Anthony/]. </bio>

Is it true that you can attract anything that you desire?

To some people, using affirmations and visualization techniques to attract wealth and money are some kind of superstitious hocus pocus. However, many of these great create wealth coaches said that if you believe in the power of positive affirmation and practice them, your life can change for the better.

"It's not the events of our lives that shape us, but our beliefs as to what those events mean." said Anthony Robbins

So what are affirmations? Why are affirmations so powerful? Affirmations are statements of acceptance that you use to allow the manifestation of your desires be they money, love, health or anything else. Affirmations are powerful, positive thoughts and statements sent out by you to the universe.

To educate and practice positive affirmations, you will need to eliminate negative thoughts in your mind and things you say and do. You must believe that you and you alone can have your destiny and desires manifested. It must be a positive, powerful belief with unwavering faith. With positive affirmations together with creative visualizations, you can create and manifest abundance into your life.

If your desire is to attract wealth easily, then your affirmation will go something like: "I create wealth easily and effortlessly." Repeat it several times while believing that you are already manifesting money. Start to visualize that money is already flowing to you and that you already have the money that you desire. Feel as though it has already happened. While in this mental condition, keep yourself open to all ways and means in which money can flow into your life.

It is important for the affirmations that you feel is appropriate to you. The affirmations must resonate with you or charge you emotionally.

Here are some manifesting money and wealth affirmations. It is better for you to compose your own affirmations because it will relate with you more so that you can feel more for it.

a) I am receiving creating wealth now. b) I have an abundance of whatever I desire. c) All my needs are being met now and I am grateful. d) I have unlimited money and wealth . e) I now give and receive freely.

You must believe you your affirmations for them to work. Make your affirmations only in the present tense because you are creating your future. This is also because if you make them in future tense, it shows a lack of confidence and your affirmations may never materialize. Do not get impatient and expect to see immediate results although you may see instant results, but for most of the time, it needs time for things to get organize.

Affirmations are futile if they fail to reach you deep enough to touch the limitless powers of your subconscious mind. Now that you know how to use affirmation, use it often if want to attract wealth and other positive desires into your life. <bio>Chris Chew is a researcher.
So what does depression and thinking right have to do with feeling happy again. Well you will find that the two are actually interconnected. Generally people who have depression don't think the way a normal happy person does, therefore one of the best things to do is to change the way that a depressed person thinks.

So how can you change the thought process of a depressed person? Well depression and thinking right can be easily achieved if you know and follow the best methods. Basically a depressed person likes to think about how bad their life is and how no one cares about them. People must understand that all they really want is for someone to notice and to love them.

So what does this have to do with depression and thinking right? Well most people believe that depression is some sort of genetic disease that holds someone back from feeling the way most people do. We couldn't be further from the truth. Depression isn't a disease, it's just a state of mind that we as the people trying to help someone who is depressed must make sure we know what it is they truly want.

If they are lonely, spend time with them. Even if that just means sitting down and listening to them moan for a while. Be careful though, if you allow a depressed person to sit and talk about how depressing their life is, they will just end up going into an even more depressed state. If you notice this happening, snap them out of it immediately, by changing the subject to someone that has nothing to do with what they are talking about.

Life coach Anthony Robbins talks about one time when he was listening to someone talk about how depressing their life, he actually changed their state by pouring a glass of water on them. Well you can imagine how the person would have reacted. They thought he was crazy, however Anthony achieved what he wanted to, he changed their state. See if you can come up with your own methods of state change.

So as you can see depression and thinking right go hand in hand. If there is someone you know that seems a little depressed, then instead of just saying "oh well they're just depressed" try thinking about what you have learnt here. Put yourself in their shoes and think about what you would want if you thought that everyone didn't like you because you were depressed. What would you want. So that's it, depression and thinking right and the methods of solution. <bio>If you want to find out more about depression please visit http://www.depressioncritic.com/ or if you want to read some more free articles all about depression, please check out our blog - http://www.depressioncritic.com/depression/ </bio>

For example Billy's story is that he likes to steal little things from humans just to cause trouble, that by the way is what pixies like to do best. Unfortunately, Billy Winks is a lazy pixie and you can usually find him sleeping.

These figurines are perfect for adult or child alike.
After having the unique opportunity to see the system in action, I decided to write this Sure 2 Profit review. If you've never heard of John Anthony and are thinking you could use a few thousand extra dollars per month, you'll find this review of particular interest. Hopefully, after reading it you'll have a good idea what you can realistically expect to get out of Sure 2 Profit, and if it's worth your time and investment.

Nowadays, it seems as though everyone is an expert on placing winning bets on horse racing. From my Uncle Albert to the guy who stocks the dog food at my grocery store, everyone has a secret they're willing to share with you after a few too many mint juleps. If they were really any good at betting, however, they wouldn't be working with dog food or driving a 1992 Ford Windstar (Uncle Al!). John Anthony is different, though, and this is why I was interested in learning more about his Sure 2 Profit system.

Anthony regularly makes more than $3,000 each week betting on horses, using his proven software and betting system. An honest guy who has developed a winning system that consistently generates a tax-free income for all of his followers who use it, Anthony's Sure 2 Profit betting system is truly unlike anything available on the market today.

Step by step, Sure 2 Profit walks you through the motions of making a ridiculous amount of money in as little as 30 minutes per day. The best thing about his software and guide is that it is 100 percent guaranteed to make you money. Try finding that anywhere else in the industry! I really can't sing the praises of Sure 2 Profit loud enough. I highly recommend both Anthony and Sure 2 Profit to everyone I know who is into gambling, and I suggest you look into it too. After all, you've got nothing to lose. <bio>To learn more, visit the official Sure 2 Profit website at http://bitsylink.com/?MHYQZ today. </bio>

Rarely will you meet a person who has found his passion and continue to work at it. For some, finding one's passion is a waste of time and more waste of money. Rarer still is finding a man who has found his passion, work at it, share it, and most importantly be financially successful in his pursuit. Self-made millionaires have the elements of the pursuit for passion and financial freedom. While finding one is difficult, such a concept of a man continues to be an inspiration for people who seek financial success.

However, Jamie McIntyre continues to be the embodiment and inspiration for success-oriented people. Certainly, a young man in all standards of the term, success has followed him wherever he goes. Yet this success emanates from him not because of his sense of self worth, but because of his discernment to share his knowledge and make a difference.

From the bottom rung of the financial pyramid, Jamie McIntyre made his vision known. All self-made millionaires can describe his direction towards success and this direction is driven by purposive goals. Therefore, when Jamie told himself that he wanted to be a self-made millionaire one day, he had his goal in the clear despite the tremendous odds of achieving it. Jamie McIntyre aimed high and reached high.

As a successful entrepreneur Jamie first realized that in order to get to the top, a different approach is required. His focus shifted from the ordinary to the most opportunistic situations. With the different challenges he faced, he learned that changing his mindset would help him climb the hill faster. Self-made millionaires find opportunities in doubts and optimism in hesitations. Jamie McIntyre definitely applied the best financial strategies to reach his goals.

As a student of 21st century education, he knew that the shift in mindset is not trivially easy. While Jamie knew he had the talent and skills to be successful, he also knows that his Rome will not be built in a day. The desire to get ahead and to improve gave him the initiative to learn under the most successful self-made millionaires in the world. He can proudly say that he is a student of Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad), Jay Abrahams (Fortune 500 Marketing Consultant), Paul Zane Piltzer (Unlimited Wealth), Anthony Robbins (Unlimited Power), and General Norman Schwarzcopft (Desert Storm). Under these leaders, Jamie shaped himself and developed the concept of 21st Century Education.

At his apex of his success, Jamie McIntyre developed a new passion to share what he learned and make a difference in the lives of other people. Thus, when he built his multi-million dollar educational organisation, Jamie transferred his success to people who are also hoping to find the right fit of success for them. Jamie continued to travel all around the world and in Australia to conduct seminars and training session on creating the best possible quality of life, reaching one's potential, financial achievement and financial freedom, and making an a lasting impact.

From being a successful entrepreneur, Jamie is now a rising educator. His teaching content has been considered one of the most relevant materials that this century needs. His persistence on dynamic learning transcends what college students learn in the four walls of their classroom. His highly effective program has been recognized to fit people of all ages and from all financial backgrounds. Therefore, Jamie McIntyre is our life coach.

Jamie McIntyre indeed should be a part of our list of people that inspires. He constantly communicates that if he can do it, so can we! By putting into heart what he has to say, we can follow his lead in no time. <bio>Steven Miller is passionate in learning financial freedom with 21st Century Academy's self-made millionaire Jamie McIntyre who has learned from the likes of Anthony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki and many more.
If you have ever been on a cruise or a part of a guided travel group you have probably met travel guides and agents along for the journey. You have probably also noticed that they seem to always travel in style, regardless of where they are going or how long the trip is expected to last. If you understand how the travel industry works, you can become part of this exciting industry and you too can travel in style, often at greatly discounted rates.

Industries involved in destination travel such as airlines, hotels and business making their money from the tourism trade are always looking for ways to increase their business and are willing to share their advertising dollars with those that can deliver new and repeat business. Many times, they are willing to offer discounted packages to individuals in the travel business to make them more aware of their services, inviting them to write about their experiences to entice others to book similar trips.

Just as many companies offer free products for people to test and then report their experiences to others, travel-related industries count on good reviews of their services in order to attract others to their business. You have probably seen offers for free nights in new motels, a common tact used in the hotel industry, in order to attract new business. These hotels are rarely alone in the offering knowing that in many instances, sir travel will be needed for you to get to the hotel and once there you will probably spend money at nearby locations.

Many people take advantage of these free offers and they do spend money along the way. The hotel offering the free rooms are hoping you enjoy your stay so much that you will book with them at a later date, paying for the stay this time. In order to enhance your experience they usually make sure you receive top-notch service and often work with the airlines to provide first-class arrangements at coach prices. By being treated like a king from the time you board the plane until you arrive back home, chances are you will remember the trip and book through the hotel in the future.

If you have a travel-related website and often publish information about specific destinations, be sure to forward this information as well as link to your site and ask about complimentary or at least reduced arrangements the hotel or airline might offer and then take advantage of any free offers than happen to come your way. Be sure that if you do take advantage of the company's generosity, that you send them a link to any postings you make about your experience.

The key to receiving additional offers from the same company, or from others, is that if you have a problem, give them a chance to rectify it instead of telling the world how lousy you were treated. They are willing to work at ironing out any problems and maybe even offering a chance to have the trip made right. If you only publish less than flattering information the odds of receiving additional freebies is greatly diminished. <bio>Anthony Covington is an experienced online marketer who helps ordinary people to build a successful Home business.
When you have a migraine headache =96 or a loved one has =96 you want a migraine remedy. You visited your physician before, and you know his advice was to take over-the-counter pain medication and rest in a dark room, but that isn't enough. You want to get relief sooner.

One of your friends suggests getting migraine relief with ice, and you want to know more. What is a migraine remedy that uses ice?

Cryotherapy =96 the Ice Remedy

At the Department of Neurology, University of Illinois at Chicago, Lawrence D. Robbins, M.D. decided to study whether or not cryotherapy (treatment with ice) was effective as a migraine remedy. Dr. Robbins enlisted 45 migraineurs in his study and, when they experienced an episode, gave them only a cold head wrap as a migraine remedy. Here are some of Dr. Robbins' findings.

* 35.5 percent of the 45 patients said that, as a migraine remedy, the ice was not at all effective. * 29 percent of them said the ice remedy was a little bit effective for migraine relief. * Cryotherapy was fairly effective for 26.5 percent of those participating. * Only 9 percent said the cold head wrap was completely effective as a migraine remedy.

Robbins, Lawrence D., M.D (1989), Cryotherapy for Headache, Headache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain 29 (9), 598=96600.

If you were among the 35.5 percent who said the ice treatment was useless as a migraine remedy, you might never try it again. Nevertheless, as a result of his cryotherapy study, Dr. Robbins says: "You have a 50-50 chance of getting some pain relief within three minutes of applying a soft, cold ice pack wrapped in a towel to your head."

Reasoning Behind the Ice Remedy

It is clear that the ice migraine remedy works for many people. It is clear, too, that it works to a degree most of the time. Perhaps a better understanding of how it works will help others test cryotherapy.

During a migraine episode, the blood vessels in the head tend to dilate =96 open more widely. They may become swollen with blood, causing pressure on the nerves surrounding them. The nerves begin to send pain signals, and you sense a migraine.

To get migraine relief with ice, you surround the head with a cold wrap, gradually cooling the blood vessels. As they cool, they become constricted, and return to normal size. This can lessen blood flow to the head, and reduce pressure on the nerves, providing a migraine remedy.

Migraine Ice

A relatively new product to hit the market, "Migraine Ice" headache pads are advertised as giving "instant cooling, soothing relief" that lasts, sometimes up to 4 hours. The pads are convenient, and require no refrigeration. Those who have frequent migraines can keep the pads in a desk or locker at work for a ready migraine remedy. To use, you simply remove the pad from its pouch, peel off a protective film, and apply the pad to the back of your neck.

Soft Ice

Another convenient product that claims to provide migraine relief with ice is Soft Ice. This is available as either a neck wrap or a head wrap. Since this product delivers comfortable cold therapy that chills the head or neck, it may be just what you need as a migraine remedy.

Traditional Ice Pack

There are many brands of ice available to use as a migraine remedy, and most do the job equally well.

Obviously, you do not need a commercial cold wrap, though, to get migraine relief with ice. A simply, traditional ice pack will do as well. An ice pack is a waterproof bag with a cap at the top that allows you to fill the bag with ice. Once full, the bag is capped, and the ice pack can be applied to neck, forehead, or other parts of the head.

Alternative Ice Pack

If you are away from home, and do not have access to an ice pack, an alternative ice pack can be made with crushed ice and a towel. Simply place the crushed ice on the towel, and fold it to contain the ice.

To best use your ice migraine remedy, go to a dark room. You guess right, that is Passion. Passion for what they want to achieve. Enough passion to keep their eyes from wandering away from the goal. Total passion to finally see them through.

Passionate beliefs often make great sacrifices look easy and are the foundation of success. Goutham Buddha, at the age of 29, followed his urge for knowledge. He left his wife, son and kingdom to be one with the sufferings of normal human beings. After going through hardship and pain he finally experienced enlightenment. More than 1500 years after his enlightenment, the Talibans may be out to destroy his statues, but Buddhism remains one of the strongest religions in the world.

Che Guevara, inspite of being an Argentine, went to Cuba and fought its battle of independence for the sake of his ideology. And then he quit his top ministerial posts in Cuba to fight for African countries before coming to Bolivia and meeting his end. Che, of course, failed in most of his wars against oppressors, yet he achieved what he always wanted.

It was this passion for being unique that made a young boy stand at the centre of the Sydney cricket ground and tell his father "I shall never be satisfied until I play on this ground" and then not just playing there but creating history as Sir Don Bradman. He was passionate about his game and ended his career with a record average of 99.96 runs.

Aung San Suu Kyi's passion for a non-violent struggle for democracy has won her a Nobel Prize. Stephen Hawking's incurable motor-neuron disease couldn't stop his passion for Physics and the universe. 'Being kicked out of school' Bill Gates passion for winning made him world's leading business tycoon. All the self-made millionaires on the globe scripted their success stories out of their passionate goals. Not only did they know what they wanted but they are people who believed passionately that they CAN.

If you think you CAN you are right. Just be passionate about it. And if you lack passion, then develop it because success never comes till you are passionate about it. <bio>Manohar Chimmani lives in Hyderabad, the fifth largest city in India.
I'm just sitting here with Anthony right now -- Anthony comes up here every Tuesday morning to hang out.

We're just sitting here and my cell phone just went off. My ring tone happens to be Michael Myers -- the theme song from the movie Halloween.

Anthony looked at me and said, "David, do you know what? Michael Myers is the ultimate cockblocker! Every time a couple is about to have hot sex (or they just finished with it) Michael Myers shows up and kills them!"

So, with Halloween coming up, the question is: who is the ultimate cockblocker?

First, there is Michael Myers, who shows up with his mask when the couple is supposed to be babysitting. You can see him, but the couple can't, and they have sex like crazy and then Michael Myers comes out and kills one of them in the bathroom.

So Michael Myers either a) has never had sex before so he's jealous of them and has to kill them, or b) is really a pervert and gets off on this whole thing. Perhaps to him the sex is the foreplay and the killing is the actual orgasm.

But let's think about the other famous cockblockers in history this Halloween. What about Freddy Krueger?

Freddy Krueger used to mess with you too. You would never be able to have sex with your girlfriend, because he would nail you before you got the opportunity.

Do you remember Johnny Depp in the original Nightmare on Elm Street? He was just making out in bed, and then all of a sudden Freddy showed up and just took him. Freddy Krueger didn't even allow you have sex before he got you.

What about Jason from Friday the 13th? Man, you'd finally get to sneak away with that hot and sexy camp counselor and you'd be banging her in the storage closet. It was great. And then she'd have to go pee, of course, after sex, and she'd be singing away in the bathroom.

And then, all of a sudden, Jason would come in behind you as you were lay in bed thinking of a hot round 2.

You'd say, "man, you came back from the bathroom quickly," and then you'd hear the Jason music and he'd use a hatchet to cut you up into a million pieces.

It seems like there have been a lot of famous cockblockers out there in history. And with Halloween coming right around the corner, we have to know: who are the other famous cockblockers in horror movies? It seems like a staple of every horror movie is the world's worst cockblocker.

When you're out this Friday night and you think your friend is cockblocking you -- or a girl is cockblocking you -- think of that person as Michael Myers.

And the next time you're talking a woman with a group of her friends and one of the friends cockblocks you, just look at her and picture her with a Halloween mask on and smile. Say to the cockblocker, "excuse me, do you know that you remind me of someone?"

She'll say, "who?" And you can reply, "Michael Myers from Halloween." And then tell the whole group this story. She will laugh her ass off! Have fun with this.

And let me know -- who are some other famous modern day cockblockers?<bio>Hailed on Fox News, The LA Times, The NY Times, Playboy and more... Nominated for 6 Golden Globes and 20 Emmys, the series has been either #1 or the #2 Nielsen rated show since the start of its second season in Fall of 2001. With an unorthodox approach the TV police drama (emphasis is placed on lab work rather than actual "street" police work), CSI was a novel concept when it first premiered. With transient characters from every walk of life, the exotic Las Vegas setting, and a steady level of crime, CSI has all the necessary elements required for a blockbuster TV show...

The C.S.I. (Season 4) DVD features a number of dramatic episodes including the season premiere "Assume Nothing" in which the CSI team investigates a series of murders involving couples. When one couple meets another in a bar, and the second couple turns up dead, the police suspect a tandem of serial killers are on the loose... Other notable episodes from Season 4 include "Jackpot" in which a severed head is mailed to the CSI coroner, Dr. Robbins, from Jackpot, Nevada, and "Early Rollout" in which the CSI team investigates the execution-style murder of a porn star and her husband while the CSI also suffers from some internal difficulties...

Below is a list of episodes included on the C.S.I.
Wouldn't you just love to know how the likes of Richard Branson or Dragon's Den entrepreneur Peter Jones accumulated their wealth? To truly discover the attributes and qualities that separates the rich, successful people from those who struggle against life?

Well, all successful people have one thing in common- the power of their mental focus. These people are experts in mirroring their inner world with what they desire in their outer world. It is living the principles of Whole Science to its fullest- noticing and appreciating that our inner, mental world is not distinguishable from the outer, material world.

It truly seems a miracle how many entrepreneurs go from nothing to great riches, doesn't it? So what is it about their mental state that is so important? And how can you replicate this mind-set to succeed in your life? Just think-what would happen if you won the lottery tomorrow, if you became a millionaire overnight? I'm sure you're already thinking of the house(s) you would have, the places you'd visit, the clothes you'd wear... and soon enough you're becoming excited at the prospect of having wealth beyond your wildest dreams.

What would happen if I told you that part of what you were doing just then is the secret to many entrepreneurs' success? No, not dreaming of winning the lottery, but thinking of all those things you do want. I bet if I told you to think of a car you'd like to buy, you have a mental image- right? Maybe even hearing the sound of the powerful engine or the good feeling you'd have driving it around.

Entrepreneurs have these kinds of images running through their heads pretty much all the time, which enables them to consistently gain the specific results they want.

'The power of positive thinking' has now become a marketable commodity. From empowerment gurus such as Anthony Robbins to groundbreaking movies such as 'The Secret', we are consistently told that the way to achieve our desires is to focus on what we want- not what we don't want.

Anthony Robbins likens it as to a speed rally driver racing round a track- if we focus on the wall, that's what we're going to crash into! To achieve the outcomes, goals and dreams you truly want in life, focusing on the end point- where you want to go, is the main key to success.

So what if there were solid, reliable scientific evidence for the power of mental focus? I'm guessing we would all begin to hold images in our minds of cheques instead of bills arriving through the post! But firstly, why is it important to focus on where you want to go, instead of those things you want to avoid? Well, by making pictures or images in your mind, you are giving instructions to your unconscious mind.

Believe it or not, your unconscious mind doesn't know the difference between a real image and an imagined one, which is why dreams can often seem so terribly lifelike and can sometimes frighten us- as if they were actually happening. An important thing to remember is that the unconscious mind does not process negatives. It actually deletes them. The reason being is that you will, consciously or unconsciously, create an internal picture or representation of that which you were trying to avoid. Have you ever thought 'I mustn't spill this' or 'I better not knock that over' . Your unconscious mind will create a picture of that which you wish to avoid- so a spilt glass of wine or broken crockery can often result.

But what about those negative things we hold in our mind on a consistent basis? Things like 'I'm poor' or ' I'm no good at anything'. What kind of images do these create?

'So what?' You may be thinking. 'It doesn't actually matter what thoughts I have, positive or negative, these thoughts are mine and thinking positively won't change a thing'. This would be indeed true under the interpretation of our current scientific model. However, the power of our mind is much more influential than we first thought.

To put it briefly, advances in physics have discovered that when you delve through the levels of our being, our molecules and our atoms, all that is left is energy- interconnected energy fields. They discovered that particles also act like waves, and can change depending on our observation.

What do I mean? Well, everything exists as possibility, or a waveform. When quantum physicists discovered that the act of observation causes possibility to collapse, it meant that our minds have the potential to create reality.

Simply put, our minds are like a laser beam which when focused, have the potential to change the 'energy' around us. Since the new paradigm of science has revealed that mind and matter are part of the same force, the same 'energy', it means that having a consistent focus is akin to being a magnet, pulling those things toward you which you hold in your mind.

Our thoughts create our reality? Having focused thoughts of wealth can bring us riches? Surely, its not that easy? I hear you say. And you'd be right. Just think, if our minds are lasers we need to have enough power within us to drive that laser towards what we want. Many successful people have noted that a burning desire and passion towards what they wanted to achieve helped them towards financial freedom.

As Napolean Hill, author of the acclaimed 'Think and Grow Rich' states 'weak desires bring weak results'. So if you were setting up a business say, but were not truly focused, passionate or determined about that business it is less likely to succeed.

To create enough 'mental energy' that is needed to achieve your goal there has to be so much desire for what you want that it will drive you into taking action. For example, entrepreneurs such as Donald Trump, Duncan Bannatyne and Richard Branson all mention that their goals sometimes became a bit of an obsession- something that they would pursue at all costs.

So as you think of that house or car you want, stop, and just ask yourself- how much do I really want this? You'll know how much if you get an excited feeling- the feeling of 'I've got to have this!' Ask yourself- what will it be like if you get what you want? Imagine living in the house, or driving that car. If your reaction is nothing less than bursting with excitement and enthusiasm you can be sure you're on the right track.<bio>Kerry Needs is the founder of Whole Science http://www.wholescience.net which combines frontier science with self development resources on the power of consciousness- the power of the mind. http://kerryneeds.blogspot.com</bio>

Ben danced to his own beat. He never listened to anyone, not his parents or his instructors. Ben's motto was "I do it my own way." As a consequence, Ben's life was a series of bad decisions. He was unsuccessful in life. Nevertheless, Ben's decision making never got any better. As the county guard shut the door to Ben's cell, he ordered, "Lights out!" Ben screamed, "I'm the man! You can't make me do anything." The prison light goes out. Ben is left in the dark.

The Critical Decision

Have you ever wondered why some people continue to make bad decisions? You see million-dollar celebrities doing it. You can see this action in government officials and business leaders. There are no discriminators. From the very rich to the poorest of the poor, we see people caught in a vicious cycle of bad decision making. Sadly, we see it much closer than that. We witness relatives making those bad decisions. Despite all the wise counsel, the poor decisions continue.

Why is it important to teach people how to make better decisions? Anthony Robbins, author of Awakening the Giant Within, attributes good decision-making as a key attribute to a happy life. Bestselling author Brian Tracy argues, "The further you think into the future, the better decisions you will make in the present to assure that future becomes a reality." Making better decisions improves the quality of one's life.

Problem Identification

As a young advisor and college professor, I constantly hear students proclaim, "I'm grown." This statement implies I don't have to listen to anyone. I know best. Therefore, I can make my own decisions. Through series after series of bad decisions, the youth continues on merry ride of worsening consequences. Two things generally can stop this dead-end trap.

One lies in becoming more mature with age, and the other is experience. In going through a series of bad decisions, a wise person gains insight on the consequences of a bad decision. Every person, regardless of their background or social standing, can benefit from good decision-making techniques. Here are some key steps to use:

1. Define the problem or issues 2. Conduct research on the matter 3. Discuss with respected individuals with similar circumstances 4. Consider at least two alternatives 5. Select best decisions, based on your value system 6. Move on and accept any consequences

The Right Path

Making the right decision is a difficult process. No one will usually applaud your many good decisions; however, you will probably catch heat over the bad ones. Les Brown, author of How to Become the Person You Always Wanted to Be-No Matter What the Obstacle, explains, "Your values are not set by government or church leaders. Your values give you consistency in the way you approach life...By holding to your beliefs, you can always stay on track toward your dreams." <bio>Daryl and Estraletta Green, decision-making coaches, have been quoted in USA Today, AP, and Ebony Magazine. It was 14 hours of only Napoleon Hill!

Imagine what that's like: wanting to succeed so badly that you'd be willing to listen to the same talk every day until you made a difference.

Amazing.

I completely saturated my consciousness with Dr. Hill's message.

After a few weeks, I reached a state where I no longer needed a motivational shot in the arm; I now had within me an overwhelming desire to take ACTION.

Only there was a problem:

I had a ROADBLOCK in my life.

My roadblock was that I had this wealth of information around me; tons of personal development books, cds and tape sets...yet I didn't know exactly what I should be doing.

I was motivated to take action but I had no idea what action to take.

I didn't know how to convert ideas into dollars.

I was stuck.

I remember sitting at my desk, looking at all these titles by Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Mark Victor Hansen, Harv Eker, Robert Allen and so many others. This wealth of knowledge and wisdom surrounded me and I didn't have a clue what to do with it all.

All I could do was ask out loud...WHAT DO I DO? WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

Let me tell you: when you ask the right questions, you'll get the right answers.

The next thing I did was I pulled out a tape set by Jay Abraham called 'Your Secret Wealth' and started listening to it..

On the tapes, Jay spoke about 'Seeing Opportunities Around You'.

Opportunity is everywhere and there are SO MANY different ways to make money. You just have to be able to recognize them.

So I started trying to "see" opportunity. I looked for it everywhere I went.

What was the value of things around me?

And was I perceiving a greater or lesser value in them than other people?

Training my mind to perceive opportunity opened my awareness and I was then able to see opportunities where I never would have seen them before.

In fact, I went on to become a PowerSeller on eBay for 2 years because of this. And I didn't even start out with any merchandise!

That said, what I'm going to share with you now is a simple technique you can implement immediately to make extra money for yourself.

However, this technique is so simple and easy to put into practice that there's a good chance you will take it too lightly. That you'll say, "that's not a big deal. I know that already."

This would actually be a mistake on your part because then you won't reap the rewards either.

Ok, are you ready for an exercise that is guaranteed to quickly and easily bring you more money in your life?

Here's what you do:

Up to 15 times each day, I want you to ask (out loud): "How Can I Make Money?"

That's it.

Don't ask 15 times in a row like you had to when you were caught chewing gum in school.

Ask once at a time, throughout the day, with all your attention and with sincerity:

"How Can I Make Money?"

Then Listen.

Listen, because the answer will come to you.

And so will the money!

Have a Great Day and Let's Make This Your Year!

Keith Matthew <bio>Our 'Limitless Wealth Attraction' CD provides a 4-step process for attracting as much wealth as you need.
Our parents didn't tell us this. Our teachers didn't tell us this. Our older siblings didn't tell us this. We didn't even hear it from our first employers. What is this? That in anything we do we must start out by failing. Anthony Robbins expains the success cycle this way, "Success is the result of good judgment, good judgment is a result of experience, experience is often the result of bad judgment."

There is no truer formula for life. Heck, they should make this the first thing we learn in grammar school. If you think about it, it is the first thing we learn in life. We didn't just start talking after we were born. We came into the world crying. Then we graduated to a bunch of unintelligent murmurs and garbles until we said our first word. It was at that moment in life we also received a greatest encouragement from our parents. "Look at little Johnny, he said his first word. Come here daddy and listen. Ok Johnny say it again. Oh here it comes, Ma ma! Isn't that great" Even though dad wanted to hear his name first, he joins in on the accolades, "Great job Johnny!" Every one claps. The parents brag to everyone they know that their son has just learned his first word.

If you think about it, we had to fail about several thousand times before we uttered an intelligent sound.

It was that same way when we learned to walk. We fell a whole bunch of times. But our parents egged us on by holding our hands up in the air and dragging us across several hundred miles of rug space until we could walk our first step ourselves. Unsure of what our parents saw, they put us up on our feet and encouraged the heck out of us telling us, `"Come on Johnny =96 you can do it!" Finally that day came when we hobbled along like a drunken sailor and our parents yelled out "He did it. Johnny is walking!" They showed us off to everybody they knew, and we were expected to do our newly learned trick of walking.

In everything we do in life, a certain amount of failure should be expected before we get it right. I remember my experience at learning how to ride a bike. I even remember how old I was when I did. I was seven years old. This was a big adventure for me because little did I know it at the time but my bicycle would take me around a few thousand miles of exploration throughout my next seven years of life. My older brother helped me out with realizing my first bruises. I had training wheels fixed to my bike which my dad put on, and my brother held me up with one arm on the bike handles in front and one arm on the seat where I was seated which at the time seemed really high off the ground. My father stood at the bottom of the hill like a catcher for the New York Yankees waiting for the pitch to come in. Then that moment my brother yearned for with so much enthusiasm came, he hurled me into space with glee and as destiny would have it I fell for the first time scraping my knees and my hands and I laid there on the ground crying. My brother laughed but I remember my father's encouraging words, "Come on Johnny, you can do it!" So I tried again and again. Luckily I did not have to fail as much as my earlier experiences in life. I think I only fell a dozen times or so before that bicycle took me for my first breath-taking ride down that long hill and I steered it into my first successful stop myself after steering it and learning to keep my balance as I tacked in and out of the wind left and right, left and right.

As we get older, our challenges become bigger as we learn new things, and failure is always to be expected. Why is that we are so hard on ourselves when we fail? Failure is a part of life. It must come as the sun must rise each day. Unfortunately, as we get older, life becomes crueler as we meet more unsavory and troubled people. These characters put us down and that is why a positive reinforcement system at home is so vital. But when that home environment becomes dysfunctional as it does with so many families, the encouragement we need is lost. In fact, in many cases our own dysfunctional family contributes to our negative experiences as they become our critics and antagonists instead of constructively encouraging us like we need.

When we are constantly told we can't make it, and we are stupid, and the hugs and affection disappears more and more regularly, our world becomes full of negative reinforcement.

But cheer up because we now know what to expect. Failure will come with everything we do. What should we do when we encounter failure? My wife gave me a great illustration. "It's like surfing", she said. "When the big waves come and they are larger than we expect, we can't expect ourselves to keep standing. We must squat down or even kneel on the surf board as we encounter the wave. But once it passes we can stand up again, regain our balance and wait for the next wave."

When we learned how to speak, learned how to walk, learned how to ride a bike, or learned how to swim it was always the same thing. We ducked when the punches came but we got right back up again didn't we?

Toni Robbins said experience comes from poor judgment (or making mistakes). That is a natural part of the success cycle. Today as you take on the world, remember the natural success cycle. It always begins with failure; but with experience will come success. <bio>John Cyr is a retired workforce development trainer and motivational consultant who writes articles and editorials under the pen-name Johnny Cyreous, or Cyreous.
