Many dream of photography school. It is an art and a passion that few people can take and make use of. But, those that do, really can amaze the world with what they can capture on a single roll of film. But, how can you find the right school to get into? Having the right photography school on your resume really can make a bit of difference. So, take your time in choosing the right school for your choice. Chances are, you'll have many options to consider when you choose correctly.

Here are some things to consider about the photography school that you will choose:

• Does the school provide you the best possible plan of study? It needs to offer you what you want to learn now and in the future. This will help determine how well you do in the end.

• You will need to consider the format of the school as well. If you are to take photography school lessons through the college, will you be required to get a degree or will you simply take classes to gain knowledge without a degree? This is up to you, but it is also up to the school to let you in as well.

• You also need to feel comfortable with the school. This is important because in art, you need the freedom to make choices. While hard and difficult, you will want to have the freedom to do as you need to.

• You'll want to find the photography school that offers the right scholarships and financial aid as well. Not all of us can afford the highest levels of education, but when you choose wisely and with good financial intentions, you can choose the right photography school.

Photography school is waiting for you. Are you ready to get started? <bio>For more information please see http://www.photography-school-info.co.uk </bio>

In today's mixed family and fatherless homes, there are new studies that suggest that we are suffering from our father's absence. Most of today's adults grew up under the shadow of the Babyboomers. Terms like latchkey kid followed us through childhood as we learned that father's job took precedence over home life.

While our parents may not have foreseen the effect of their quest for wealth, the fact is, research is showing that today's dysfunctional families may be a direct result of the 'salary' paid generation.

Research at the University of Haifa School of Social Work compares a connection between father-child relationship and the child's ability to achieve interrelation intimacy in adulthood. In non-technical language, this means that adults who had absent fathers are more likely to have problems at work, keeping relationships, and building strong relationships with their own children.

Dr. Nurit Nahmani, examined the quality of father-child relationships among three groups: orphans, children of divorced parents and children of intact families. He found that 82% of children with married parents moved on to enjoy intimate relationship in their adult life, while only 62% of the orphans and 60% of the children of divorced parents managed to sustain a long time relationship.

by Prof. Yossi Guttman and Dr. Amnon Lazar of the University of Haifa, evaluated 231 women and men between the ages of 22 and 32. The research used various parameters to measure the participants' father-child relationship and their capacity for intimacy as reflected in closeness, sexuality and commitment with their adult partners.

While the results of the study are not surprising, they are very telling. Many adults suffer from bad relationships, and even stress related health problems.

The findings found barriers that limited the ability to develop intimate among those whose absent father caused a significant increase in negative emotions and distancing.

The results also noted a correlation between a balanced father-child and the ability to sustain intimate relationships in adulthood. "The results showed that orphans and children of divorced parents experienced different emotional connections with their fathers. The orphans tended to idolize their fathers, while children of divorced parents tended to feel frustration and anger towards their fathers," explained Dr. Nahmani.

The study also noted that a greater feeling of loss towards one's father meant a smaller chance of establishing an intimate relationship in adulthood. "A feeling of loss is connected to the ability or lack of ability in the long term, to adjust to the loss of a father and to experience a change in the relationship with him. 41% of the participants whose father was permanently or partially absent reported a feeling of loss, often accompanied by a fear of being abandoned a second time and reported not being involved in a relationship," she continued.

Dr. Nahmani found that the finding show that the potential for developing intimate relationships exists even when a father was absent during childhood. Those who overcame their difficulties as they matured made it possible to establish quality intimate relationships. This is good news for most.

"The research found a definitive connection between the quality of the father-child relationship and interpersonal relationships later in life. It is vital that we continue to research the long-term effects of losing a father in order to answer the needs of these children over time," noted Dr. Nahmani. <bio>Ethan Miller advises on improving your heath and reducing pain from his web site at http://www.asthmaroom.com

He invites you to get his FREE health guide http://www. http://babyshowerstar.com </bio>

Doctor CREDIBLE MEDICAL EXCUSES FOR THE ABSENT EMPLOYEE

Reasons for taking time off work vary. Be it a family emergency, a medical condition, a misunderstanding with a co-worker, a hangover or a much needed break from stress employees everywhere and anywhere from the supervisors down to the rank and file will always have reasons to absent themselves. Unfortunately for most companies, employees take time off from work usually for reasons that are just unacceptable in a professional environment. Most of the time the more credible excuses are medical and should come with a doctor note.

The more common and credible excuses used by employees would include the common cold or the flu. Because it is infectious in nature, employees with colds or flu are usually allowed to stay at home in order to keep co-workers from catching the virus. Those with colds and flu are usually advised a day or two of bedrest as well as medication and plenty of fluids.

Physical injuries such as sprains and muscle strains are also common medical excuses especially if it effectively prevents the employee from performing the current job. A doctor note for injuries may require some amount of home stay and rest as well as special instructions on certain tasks that employees may or may not perform. A doctor note may contain for example certain limitations in terms of the number of hours an employee can stand or as to how heavy a weight the employee can carry. These instructions would of course depend on how severe the injury is. Other related excuses would be severe back pains and other muscular pains and injuries.

Another common medical excuse that an absent employee may present in a doctor note would be intestinal or abdominal pain or discomfort, usually caused by food poisoning and diarrhea. Dehydration resulting from such illnesses can make the employee severely weak. Moreover, the discomfort can also be distracting at work and may compel you to use toilet facilities every so often. For these type of illness a doctor note may recommend another day or two rest.

Skin allergies and infectious skin diseases are also common medical excuses for absences from work. Carbuncles and boils which aside from being painful, can also infect a co-worker are valid excuses that may be placed in a doctor note. Carbuncles take a while but it will not be until its last stages that the pain will become unbearable. This entails minor surgery but will not get you off work for more than a day.

Other acceptable medical excuses are however more difficult to make up because of its severity and extent. Of course if your illness genuinely requires hospitalization then you are more than excused from work

But whatever the reason and whatever the excuse, what's more important is that you have a good doctor note to back you up. Most of the time unless employees present their doctor note, their absences incur consequences ranging from salary deductions to termination. If you're faking it a credible doctor note can be found and purchased online, complete with a hospital and clinic logo as well as physician details, contact information and signature.<bio>Dr E.Z.
Technology has become a part of almost every aspect of the workforce. Many industries and organization are now reaping the benefits of its many uses, and the education system is no exception. Communications servers are now making it easier than ever for school officials to notify parents of a child's absence, for parents to notify the school of a child's absence, and for teachers to offer information and assistance concerning various homework assignments.

Through the use of a computer system, an automated dial system can be configured to provide pre-recorded information upon request, and updating this information has become easier than ever. Also, through the use of voice mail, students and parents can leave messages that can be easily access by school officials. Likewise, students can quickly access critical information as desired to find various homework assignments, an option that is especially useful if a student has been absent on a particular day.

These communications servers are designed to streamline information and messaging within the school system's administrative and teaching community. This type of system can also help facilitate communications between various designated groups, clubs, the entire student body, and parents. Through this, everyone can stay better informed of special events and check the system frequently for any updates or changes that may have occurred.

These types of communications systems are very affordable, and use an easy to use voice processing system that will make communications more convenient across the board. Now, as soon as events are scheduled or changes are made, the messages can be recorded and immediately available to students and parents. Parents will also be able to call the system and obtain this information more easily than ever before. The results are now more instantaneous.

Teachers can also post informative information about homework assignments, upcoming exams, and school-wide testing that students can access on a daily basis from the comfort of their own homes. The use of websites has also served to promote this type of instant communication, and the two systems can be used in conjunction with one another to increase communications and raise awareness.

There are several companies that offer such communications servers and services, each using similar technology. As the voice capabilities improve, so will the level of technology. As more functions are added to the system, more information will be readily available to students, school officials, and parents that will only help to unify the overall educational experience and foster a more comprehensive learning environment. <bio>Voicegate Corporation is an innovative leader in the voice processing, voice recording/call logging, call centre and emergency preparedness/business continuity notification systems industries. http://www.voicegate.com/emergency_response.html </bio>

Deciding to home school your children is a big decision to make. Now that you have decided it is the right thing for your family, you certainly have to make sure that your children are getting the best out of the entire learning experience. Having a home school group is a great way to make sure that it happens.

So What is a Home School Group?

A home school group is something that every home school atmosphere can and should take advantage of. You can have a school group with other children who are being home schooled in your town or city. When you have a home school group meeting, all of the children who are being home schooled will be able to get together, to talk, and to share their learning experiences.

A home school group is very important to the development of your home schooled child. One of the benefits of home schooling is that you can be in charge of what your kid is learning, how, and when the learning taking place.

However, one of the major drawbacks of home schooling is that your child is not getting the socialization that is necessary for good social development. If you have a home school group that meets quite often, you are going to be giving your children the right dose of socialization as well.

There are several things that a home school group can probably do. They can get together to participate in sports, or they can even get together to have certain learning classes at the same time. You can also go on field trips with your group.

You can even do things together in a home school group that your children would do in regular school, like holiday parties and other events. If you can have a home school group that your children can be a part of all the time, they are going to also learn how to get along well with others, and you are going to have a well rounded child.

You should check with your local home school association to see if there is already a home school group that your children can join, when you decide to home school them. Having kids at home, but also giving them the support of a home school group is very important to their development as a whole. Remember that this is something that every home schooled child should be a part of during their lives. <bio>Tango Pang is an authority in the Education field.
Most people would now agree that the Los Angeles Unified School District is in need of some overdue changes. While classes continue to be overpopulated and text books remain in short supply, there is a real need for change. With lights and ceiling tiles falling off regularly our students just aren't able to learn, there is a real need for change.

At long last change is about to happen, but will it really make a difference to our children. A bill was signed on Monday, September 18 by governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (Republican) granting mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (Democrat) limited control over the Los Angeles Unified School District.

When this bill goes into effect in January 2007, Villaraigosa, as well as other mayors, could, if they get it right, change how 730,000 students are taught in the city of Los Angeles. The signing occurred at a ceremony at the Central Library in Downtown Los Angeles. The bill provides Villaraigosa with direct control over three schools, which have yet to be decided upon, and their feeder schools.

Villaraigosa has requested to work with specific schools, Crenshaw and Dorsey in Los Angeles; Sylmar and Monroe in the San Fernando Valley; Belmont which is west of downtown; and Roosevelt in Boyle Heights.

Although the mayor has direct control, he will not have complete control of the schools. This authority he will have to share with the school board (which will loose most of its powers under the new bill), the superintendent and a new council of mayors. There are more power shifts to be taken into account such as, the superintendent will have new budget responsibilities with the school board having limited power to review the budget. The board will now have no direct management over their staff.

The mayor has faced a lot of ill feelings by the district who opposed the bill and were absent at the bill signing. The bill is a watered down version of the New York bill passed by their current Mayor. Villaraigosa accepted the changes as a stepping stone to gaining full power some time down the road. The board voted 6 to 1 to take legal action and sue to try and block the bill. At this time, Villaraigosa only has one ally on the board, Monica Garcia.

Villaraigosa is a Democrat who has endorsed Phil Angelides in the November election against Schwarzenegger who is a Republican. This should make for a very interesting time as they all appear to be supporting each other. How will the politics work out? How do the children benefit? Will the children benefit or has this bill just put them into a political mine field? <bio>http://www.CarlHampton.com http://www.fcdtcm.com </bio>

You are absentminded when your mind is absent; when you perform actions unconsciously, without thinking. There is a distinct difference between seeing and observing - we see with our eyes, but we observe with our minds. If your mind is "absent" when performing an action, there can be no observation; more important, there can be no original awareness. Absentmindedness is probably the most widespread of minor self-annoyances. Although it plagues most of us, it seems particularly to affect the elderly. The techniques we'll discuss here have succeeded in eliminating absentmindedness for countless people, including the elderly.

To some people, absentmindedness may seem to be a trivial problem. Perhaps they don't realize how much time, energy, and aggravation they spend on searching for items they "just put down for a moment," or on worrying about whether they have turned off the oven, locked the door, unplugged the iron, or on retrieving items they have left in trains, buses, cars, offices, and friends' homes.

The solution to the problem of absentmindedness is both simple and obvious: All you have to do is to be sure to think of what you're doing during the moment in which you're doing it, That's all, but obviously it's easier said than done. How can you be sure to force yourself to think of a minor action at the moment you're doing it?

There's only one way, and that is by using association. Since association forces Original Awareness - and since being Originally Aware is the same as having something register in your mind in the first place, at the moment it occurs - then forming an instant association must solve the problem of absentmindedness.

Let's use a quick example: You're writing at your desk and the phone rings. As you reach for the phone, you place the pencil behind your ear, or in your hair. The phone call is finished - that took only a few minutes - but now you waste time searching for the pencil that's perched behind your ear. Would you like to avoid that aggravation? Well then, the next time the phone rings and you start to place the pencil behind your ear, make a fast mental picture in your mind. Actually "see" the pencil going into your ear - all the way.

The idea may make you shudder, but when you think of that pencil, you'll know where it is. That silly association of seeing the pencil go into your ear forced you to think of two things in a fraction of a second: 1) the pencil, and 2) where you were putting it. Problem solved! Solved, that is, if you make an association each time you put down your pencil, wherever you put it. Just make it a habit. Keep the idea in mind the first few times, force yourself to form the associations, and after that it will become habitual. <bio>Make Life Magic! http://www.xtrememind.com </bio>

Are you searching for a dog obedience school in your area? If so, you are putting your dog on the right path to leading a great life. The fact of the matter is that a dog obedience school can do a lot for both you and your pooch. But before you consider enrolling in just any dog obedience school, you will want to make sure that you search your area to ensure that you are getting the best of the best. After all, a dog obedience school is just like anything else. Some of them are better than others, and the prices charged will vary across the board.

To find the best dog obedience school in your area you must first get information from each one. Once you have details of each school you will then be able to compare what they have to offer. Make sure that you look at everything from the cost of attending to the training methods. As mentioned above, each dog obedience school has a different way of doing things. You will want to sign your dog up with the one that is going to be most beneficial.

Once you decide on a couple of dog obedience schools that may do the trick, the final step is to call them up and ask a few questions. This will allow you to get a good feel for who you are dealing with, if they are qualified to help your dog, and much more. Getting this type of first hand interaction is very important to say the least.

All in all, finding the best dog obedience school in your area is not hard to do. After you make a list of the schools that are available, the only thing left is to check them all out and make a final decision. <bio>Ruth is actively involved with the internet and she finds it very exciting.
The unsuccessful state of public schools in the nation is epitomized by the devastation of the city of New Orleans and the New Orleans Schools. Inner city and racial achievement gaps that had been ignored before Hurricane Katrina were impossible to ignore once the districts had to be rebuilt. The biggest challenge in rebuilding the New Orleans Schools seems to reflect the overall problem with public education in the United States. While everyone seems to have an opinion, no one really knows the best way to educate our children.

Helping Parents Adapt to the New Orleans Schools

Many former students of the New Orleans Schools are still scattered in other cities around the nation. But for those who returned to the emerging new system, the past school year has been confusing and often frenzied. Low-income parents and parents with little education are rarely comfortable in academic settings. But these are the people who the New Orleans Schools need to reach out to most.

A coalition of community groups has come together to create a parents' guide to the new New Orleans Schools. The New Orleans Parents' Guide to Public Schools contains a ton of information on the school options available, how to obtain lost documents, childcare, and picking the best school for your child.

The guide lists all 69 of the new New Orleans Schools, maps, photos, how to register, and transportation for each. The goal of the guide is two-fold. First, it aims to make parents more comfortable with the New Orleans Schools. Second, it tries to make accessing the information they need as convenient as possible. A list of locations where parents of children in the New Orleans Schools can pick up the book is available at http://www.nolaparentsguide.org .

The book's editor, Aesha Raheed, said, "Empowering all of our families is a critical step for us to redesign public education in New Orleans. We're focused on student achievement and academic outcomes. We have an opportunity to push us in that direction. We're redefining what the expectations of public education are... and making sure our students get the best education they can."

Challenges of Low Income Populations

Educators in New Orleans Schools are intimately familiar with the challenges of educationing "at-risk" populations. Children who come from poverty, who have poorly educated parents, or absent parents, or live in dangerous environments, are more likely to suffer from attention issues, undiagnosed learning disabilites, and to struggle in school. As a result of Hurricane Katrina, many of these children in the New Orleans Schools are now dealing with post-traumatic shock issues as well.

The one unexpected benefit of the devastating hurricane is that the New Orleans Schools are being rebuilt from the ground up. Administrators, educators, and parents of the New Orleans Schools district are creating new public schools, charter schools and other initiatives designed to provide all children with adequate public education. <bio>Patricia Hawke is a staff writer for Schools K-12, providing free, in-depth reports on all U.S. public and private K-12 schools.
Every kid goes to some kind of school for education, whether it's private, or public, or a boarding school. Whatever type of school the kid goes, the purpose of going to school is to learn, in whatever environment is best for you. So what if your child's best environment is just right in your own living room? Have you ever considered the option of home school? You might be thinking, "Oh, I can't home school my kids because I couldn't stand to be around them all day long," or "Wouldn't teaching him at home affect my child's social skills?" These are both some common misconceptions that people have about home school, but they are totally wrong. The truth is, there are many reasons why people do choose to home school their kids.

Why Should I Home School My Children?

There are many reasons why people will consider home school for their child's education. First, it gives their family more "together time," and it allows them to spend more quality time with their children when they are rested, as opposed to when they are cranky from being at school. Parents also argue that at home, they get to choose the curriculum they want. The advantages of this are that they are not forced to make their children finish the seemingly pointless "busy work" that is often sent home as homework. They can also allow their children to learn things that are not usually taught in school, and it gives the children a chance to into a more in-depth study of any particular subject of interest. In home school, children can learn at their own pace and at their own developmental comfort level. (In other words, home school is more customized to one particular child, thus allowing them to learn better.) Testing and grading are optional in home school. Many parents argue that this allows their child to experience working for their own satisfaction as opposed to just earning a certain grade.

There are also many social benefits of home school too. For example peer pressure is usually reduced a great deal because there are fewer children pressuring your child to dress a certain way, listen to a certain type of music, or think a certain way. Also, children in home school can choose the people who they interact with socially based on their common interests; they are not forced to interact with classmates whom they have nothing in common with. Also, the friends that your child can get to know will be more varied, especially in age. <bio>Need more resources on home schooling?
If you have decided to enroll in a helicopter flight school, many things come into play. Since it is not enough to just enroll at a school that charges the amount you can afford, the process of choosing gets more tricky than you realize. Here are some of the important things to consider to land on the right helicopter flight school for you.

The helicopter flight school fee

Since the most important thing you should have next to your desire to become a helicopter pilot is money, the very first thing you should do is to scout for a school that would let you finish the whole training. Of course you should have enough money to pay for the whole training but there are helicopter flight schools that offer financial aid that would help you ease the burden of paying a very high price.

Aside from this, you should also consider where exactly does your payment go. You should remember to know the breakdown of the total cost of the whole training. The following may or may not appear on the breakdown of your payment: accommodation, safety equipment, license fees and flight test fees, books and equipment, ground school, pre (and post) flight briefings, insurance, fuel, instructor, and aircraft cost.

The location

If you live near a helicopter flight school, then your expenses will be lessened. Yes, you have to eat and sleep while you go on training. It would be better to consider a helicopter flight school that is near you. You can save a lot of money by doing this.

The facilities

This would include flight simulators, the ground school, and the type of helicopters they have. A good flight school should have a good rating for all of these. Why? Here's the explanation: Since training on the air costs too much for the student, having a flight simulator would definitely cut the cost off. The same training that could be acquired on a real helicopter that costs a lot could be done on the ground.

A good helicopter flight school should have ground school. This means that the school is totally interested to teach you serious flying. At the ground school, they should be able to monitor your progress and can continuously improve your skill.

Although you might end up with the Bell 47, Robinson R22, or the Schweitzer 300, (these 3 are usually the training helicopters) it is good to know that you have other options. <bio>This content is provided by Low Jeremy.
Most people have probably never considered what life is like for children and teens who attend a boarding school rather than a traditional school.

Basically, a boarding school is one where the students not only go to school on campus but they also live on campus in a dormitory setting. It is sort of like college for younger students. Can you imagine being six or seven years old and living not with a family but instead with several other kids your own age? Each child either has a room of their own or perhaps shares a room with another child around their same age. Every boarding school has house parents or dorm parents that bring supervision to the children and teens and that provide parent-like comfort and safety.

Many young children cannot even handle going away from home for a week of summer camp. Children who attend a boarding school must learn quickly how to adjust to life without parents because they rarely get to go home and see their families throughout the year. Often children begin attending boarding school at the beginning of their schooling and they remain in boarding school until they complete high school. Some may go home for a Christmas holiday or for a visit in the summer months, but rarely do boarding school students have consistent interaction with their families.

Why would parents send their children to a boarding school? That is a legitimate question that has many answers. Some parents that work overseas or that travel frequently choose to put their children in boarding school because they know how inconsistent they will be in parenting or in providing for the needs of their kids. Other parents choose boarding school for their children as a way for them to experience more of the world and to learn how to interact with diverse people from a young age. Still other parents put their children and teens in boarding school if they are having trouble disciplining their kids or keeping them out of trouble. Boarding school can be a great place for kids to learn responsibility and discipline.

Attending a boarding school produces mixed reactions among children and teens. Many enjoy the opportunity to live with their friends and to enjoy the freedoms of not being with their parents all the time. For students who began attending boarding school at a young age, many enjoy their lives because they do not know any different. Of course there are always students who get homesick or who would prefer to live with their parents and attend a regular school.

Regardless of the pros or cons of attending a boarding school, boarding school really is a world of its own. <bio>Kirstine Pallette, after attending boarding schools for many years, is well respected when it comes to helping people realize the ups and downs of boarding school for children.
Okay, so it may sound a little funny but fashion business school is something that many fashion students are looking into now more than ever. Fashion business school does sound a bit ludicrous, but if you consider the reasons why people attend fashion school in the first place the idea of fashion and business together only make sense. Fashion degrees are about learning the ins and outs of the business and refining your skills whereas business courses are for people who want to manage or start a business of their own. For those out there already attending fashion school, it is a safe assumption to say that many of them dream of having their own line some day. A fashion line is a business, and that is where fashion business school courses can come into play.

Who Needs Fashion Business School=85Right?

Who cares if you are a pro at making A-line dresses fit even the sloppiest of figures if you can't run your business properly? It is insane to think that so many people are failing to consider the vital role that the fashion business industry plays in their chosen field. What would the fashion industry be if it weren't for fashion business school? If nobody knew how to run a business there would be no Versace, no Louis Vuitton or Donna Karen.

Fashion in itself is a business, and those fashion students out there who are serious about their success will put some consideration into fashion business school courses. Just look at other industries, they all have their own business schools. I know people that have failed in the medical field due to poor business skills and management. So if you are serious about getting into fashion, they I would highly recommend checking out the business schools.

Deciding if Fashion Business School is Right for You

It is important to realize that while it may seem like common sense, not all fashion schools are going to offer courses in fashion business. School courses are designed for one thing or another, but not always both. Find out what type of coursework your chosen fashion school offers and see if you can get some good courses in fashion business in while you are in attendance.

This means that not only will you be able to learn everything that you have ever needed to know about the fashion industry, but you can also learn the ins and outs of business as well and how to handle certain things that your business may throw at you. If you become a millionaire you can hire a manager but in the meantime, you are going to have to learn something or other about fashion business. School may be the way to help you do just that. And you can always ask past or present future graduates to get some recommendations for which type of classes that would be best for you.

I now hope you realize how important the business aspect of your fashion career is. <bio>Article written by Jessica Bradbury, she has a site dedicated to fashion design schools at http://www.fashion-school-info.com </bio>

School scrapbooking albums usually include pictures of a child's first day of school for each grade level, but there's so much more to our back-to-school memories. Why not create a few page layouts that document the feelings and memories of the back-to-school season? Get your camera and your scrapbooking supplies ready, and try these school scrapbooking ideas.

Back-to-School Clothes Shopping

This is a new school year ritual. We all take our children shopping for new clothes to start the school season. This year, take your camera along for the trip, and not only will you capture some fun pictures of your children shopping, but you'll record the current fashions trends of that year. Be sure to include the good, the bad and the ugly of this year's fashions. Even if you have a less than enthusiastic shopper, it's a back-to-school tradition that should be part of any school scrapbook.

School Registration

Standing in line to get your child's class schedule and new textbooks is another common back to school event. If your child is young or this is a new school for him, take some pictures of his first impressions of the new school year. Older children may not welcome photos during school registration, but you can still scrapbook their class assignment schedule after they no longer need it, or a picture of the stack of textbooks may make a nice addition to a school page layout. Registration is also a great time to snap a photo of the school building for a school scrapbooking album.

Hopes for the Coming School Year

Have your children write down what they hope to learn in the coming school year. Ask them how they see themselves at the end of the year, and what they are most looking forward to at this grade level. Maybe they are looking forward to learning how to read or long division or maybe just making new friends. You can scrapbook these thoughts in a page layout. It's even more personal if you use each child's own handwriting.

First Day of School

So much is going on during the morning of the first day of school. When you take a photograph of your children in their new clothes with new backpacks, pick the same place each year to take the photo. You will get a better perspective of how they have changed in height if you pick the same location with the same background.

Leaving on the School Bus

If your children take a bus to school, a fun moment to capture is leaving on the school bus on the first day of school. Take one photo of your children entering the bus, and then try to take one of them waving from the windows.

Reuniting with Friends

Part of the fun of the back-to-school season is reuniting with old school friends. Photograph these moments at the school bus stop or in front of the school if you accompany your child to school. Remember to be sensitive to older children who many not want photos taken during this time.

The back-to-school season is full of traditions and rituals. You'll definitely want to document them in a school scrapbook album. Whether you choose to create one scrapbook that includes all of your children or an album for each child, these tips will give you lots of ideas to fill up those pages.<bio>Christine Perry invites you to her website, for more scrapbooking ideas and digital scrapbooking tips.</bio>

If you are interested in becoming a real estate appraiser it is necessary to go through the proper schooling. Many people think that real estate appraising is an industry that anybody can get involved with. Infact it is true, but in order to get started they must first go through the proper training. If you are completely devoted to being a success in this industry you should enroll in a real estate appraising school. This will go a long way in putting you on the right path to success.

But before you choose a real estate appraising school, make sure that you know what you are doing. Since not every real estate appraising school is the same. For this reason, you need to check many details of each one. The first thing to consider when looking for a real estate appraising school is that it should have a good reputation.

It is necessary because, not only you want to get licensed but you have to learn a lot as well to put it in to practice. Since you are going to be a professional appraiser you need to have enough knowledge to succeed day in and day out. And the only places that you can pick up this knowledge is at a good real estate appraising school as well as your first hand experience.

You may also want to compare price when enrolling in a real estate appraising school. Although this should not be the only thing that you look at, some schools are more costly than others. You want to make sure that while you are comparing the finer details of each real estate appraising school, their fee structure may also concern you. Many people do not too concerned with money, if you can save money you might as well do so. This will allow you to get the schooling that you need while also keeping a bit of extra money in your pocket; and this is always a good thing no matter who you are.

As you can see, you should only choose a real estate appraising school after taking a close look at the details such as reputation and price. When you consider every last detail you will be much better off. <bio>Kim Lee writes for Singapore's Rental Portal http://www.rentinsingapore.com </bio>

We all will get at least one or two in our lifetime. A speeding ticket is something nobody wants to have but it's inevitable. So, if it's your first speeding ticket, fret not. You are not the first to be written with such and you will not be the first to get out of it hassle-free if you know what to do.

The first thing you should really do is to not rev up your engine to a speed. That will definitely get you off the radar. With the new technologies being used to clock your vehicle's speed, it will really be a matter of time before you get your first speeding ticket if you're not careful.

It is also important to know the following things so you can check and balance with your own conditions:

- Officers have the eye for sports cars especially the red and black ones.

- A red car, although not a sports type, catches the officer's attention more than a white car.

- A flashy car will catch attention too.

- Many motorists get tickets during Sundays when there is less traffic on the road.

- More motorists get tickets on the 30th of each month than any other days.

- Officers are humans and their emphatic sides can be tapped if you know how.

- First-time violators are mostly given just a warning.

If you have already received your first speeding ticket then you have several options - fight, plea, or pay. If you prefer to fight, you may end up losing and paying just the same amount as the fine. You get added insurance premiums, too.

Paying helps you get rid of that ticket from your sight but it does not really disappear. You will get bad points on your license, that's one. The other, more stressful consequence is you will be charged almost 50% more on your insurance premium. So you have to really pay a lot and still get the worst part of the deal.

Pleading in court would be the best move. Your initial hearing is the most important one so you should not be absent. You will plead not guilty of course. You trial schedule can also be rescheduled. This will help you delay the case so take advantage. The more you delay the hearing, the more chance the officer will forget to attend and your case will be instantly dismissed.

You can also plead for a driving school option. This is only valid for those who haven't undergone one for 12 months prior to the citation. The rulings too, will depend on which state you were given the citation. When the school sessions are completed, the charges will be dropped and you still have a nice, clean record.

If you're going for the court trial, you will have to prepare a lot for it. Make your defense really plausible. Prepare the necessary evidences that can help strengthen your case.

When it's time to appear in court for your first speeding ticket, dress to impress or just blend well and stand out a bit from the rest. This will get the attention of the judge and maybe earn you some good points just by looking neat and professional.<bio>Did you receive your first speeding ticket?
Remember the Army slogan, "I Want YOU for the U.S. Army!"? The poster showed a very stern Uncle Sam jabbing his finger nearly out of the picture. What about the one by Smokey the Bear? "Even YOU can prevent forest fires!" Well, let's add another one, shall we? "It's important for YOU to consider Public School Rankings !" when considering a move to a new city or state.

Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers =96 This is not some new teaching technique, but points to something unique. Public School Rankings can show you which schools have something different to offer, and how well they do so compared to other similar programs. While you should never choose a school for your child based solely on the fact that it is unique and out-of-the-box, schools that rank high in Public School Rankings and that have unique, diverse programs in place indicate that they are concentrating on ensuring the best possible education they can give.

Looking at Public School Rankings will also give you valuable information on how well these schools are performing in core academics. Test scores are a big part of Public School Rankings, and high scores will definitely show which schools have students who are earning high marks. A unique program at an excellent school situated near the top of a Public School Rankings may be just what you are looking for, so don't forget to consider where the school in question falls in Public School Rankings .

Open Doors =96 Preparing yourself with information gathered by studying Public School Rankings of schools in the area you are considering will help out when you tour schools and visit classrooms. Principals and teaches will appreciate your knowledge about how their school has performed in Public School Rankings , but be sure not to come off as a know-it-all about the school you are visiting. Coming to the school informed with the school's placement in Public School Rankings will show that you are interested in the school you are considering, and that you will make sure to be a partner with educators in the schooling of your child.

Updated Information =96 Researching the Public School Rankings in the city or state you are thinking of moving to is simply logical. While it's good to talk to other parents in the area you are heading for, keep in mind that they can only speak from their own experiences. I once had a teacher tell me not to place my daughter in our school's gifted program because her brother hated it; and she was a grandmother! Her experience and information was outdated, to say the least. Word of mouth is indeed a valuable tool to determine which schools are good, but don't discount the information you'll get from Public School Rankings. These rankings are an unbiased report on how a school is performing.

And don't forget, only YOU can choose the school (based in part on Public School Rankings ) that is best for your child! <bio>Patricia Hawke is a staff writer for Schools K-12, providing free, in-depth reports on all U.S. public and private K-12 schools.
