Getting married is like a job, and I don't mean that it's a lot of work. What I mean is that there is so much to know, keep track of and do that no one can be expected to pick it up overnight. They should have training courses for newly-engaged couples, or at the very least perhaps a checklist. I haven't come up with one myself yet, but I did just remember yet another thing that should be on it: Hosiery.

Now, wedding hosiery can be as simple as purchasing your ordinary style and color or as involved as planning every detail of the hosiery that you will be wearing. If you leave this decision until the last minute then, most likely, you will be wearing what you always wear. Obviously that's no good. Take the time to think about this early on because you will have more options at that point.

Today, brides may design a special pair of hose at hosiery specialty stores, available online or at selected locations. Delicate lace, glistening pearls, shiny rhinestones, satin bows, creative monogramming, and sheer nylon are all available as added effects to one of the most personal items that the bride will be wearing.

Today, the bride can have the ankle of her hosiery monogrammed with her initials or name. Additionally, a small rose can be added below the initials for a nice delicate touch of beauty. Thigh highs with satin bows or ruffled lace at the tops give that feminine feel that every bride desires to have.

Back seams with delicately small glistening pearls or bright shiny rhinestones provide an elegant look that adds to the total effect of the wedding attire. An anklet of interwoven flowers, a scattered pearl effect, a full lacey pattern, a scattered dappling of rhinestones, or a subtle fishnet design are all excellent choices for the perfect hosiery for the wedding day.
